Já vamos começar com um pouco de polêmica, pois, na visão deste blogueiro, o AC/DC terá uma árdua missão na sexta-feira para superar as apresentações de outras duas bandas que passaram em novembro pelas terras paulistanas. Não há dúvida alguma que os australianos são capazes de transformar o Morumbi num grande  salão de festas para avôs, pais e filhos, como fizeram em 1996, quando passaram pelo Estádio do Pacaembu. Mas vale destacar o show que o Faith no More realizou no Maquinaria Festival no último dia  7 e a apresentação que o Twisted Sister fez no Via Funchal no dia 14. Ambas as apresentações  já estão no Top 5 dos melhores shows de 2009.

De um lado, o Faith no More mostrou que, apesar dos anos de separação  da banda, continua com aquela pegada marcada pela cozinha entre o baixo de Billy Gould e a bateria de Mike Bordin, devidamente puxada pelo vocal do brilhante Mike Patton, um dos maiores “frontman” do rock, que parece estar cantando ainda melhor do que na década de 90.

Do outro, o Twisted Sister, que, com o lendário vocalista Dee Snider, surpreendeu até o mais dedicado fã com um dos shows mais animados que São Paulo viu nos últimos tempos. Quem foi ao Via Funchal saiu com a sensação de ter voltado ao início dos anos 80, quando os norte-americanos estouravam nas paradas com os hinos adolescentes “We’re not Gonna Take it” e “I Wanna Rock” , do álbum “Stay Hungry”.

Para o leitor do blog, selecionei dois vídeos do Youtube com duas músicas tocadas nos shows dessas duas ótimas bandas de estilos diferentes. Note no vídeo do Twisted Sister como, ao mesmo tempo, Dee Snider consegue comandar a platéia e como a banda se surpreende com a participação do público. No vídeo do Faith no More, repare no vocal de Patton para a música “Ashes do Ashes”, do disco “Album of the Year”, e na levada do sempre competente Mike Bordin na bateria.

A torcida agora é para os velhinhos australianos fecharem o ano paulistano com chave de ouro. Se repetirem o feito de 96, quando realizaram o maior show que este blogueiro já viu, o público roqueiro poderá ter a certeza que ainda existe diversão e qualidade dentro do seu estilo musical preferido, que está capengando ultimamente com uma crise criativa imensa, mas que ainda tem as bandas antigas para mantê-lo acima dos demais.

Com 25 anos de espera, o Twisted Sister chegou em São Paulo cheio de energia, e acima de tudo, em um show onde esperavam se divertir, uma reviravolta aconteceu… quem estava se divertindo para valer eram os próprios integrantes do Twisted Sister.

A banda entrou após o besteirol do Massacration, que fez suas diversas piadas e tocou seus “clássicos”, para depois às 22h30 apresentar a banda principal da noite que entrou com muita energia, liderados pelo carismático e bem humorado Dee Snider a banda tocou diversos clássicos desde o primeiro album, e em clima de festa começou o seu show.

Clima que permaneceu durante toda a noite, “We’re Not Gonna Take it” teve o seu refrão tocado cerca de 6 vezes mesmo após o que deveria ter sido o término da música, esse grande clássico do Metal Farofa incendiou a noite, assim como em “I wanna rock”, foi impressionante ver a banda tocando com os “6000 Back Vocals” que estavam na platéia.

Diversão para todos, para os músicos que foram buscar suas cameras de vídeo para registrar aquele momento, para os fãs que cantaram do inicio ao fim do show, e para “Dee Snider” que confirmou mais uma vez o motivo de ser uma das maiores lendas da história do Rock.

Dee Snider (nella foto in versione casalinga), leader della hair-metal band Twisted Sister, ha lanciato un nuovo blog “denuncia” per sensibilizzare l’opinione pubblica sull’uso sconsiderato delle corna metal in contesti che non sono appropriati. Il gesto delle corna così caro alla comunità Metal fu inventato da Ronnie James Dio e in questo c’è qualcosa che ci riconduce all’Italia. In breve il meme corna fu adottato da vari gruppi metal e da tutti i fan. E’ un modo per riconoscersi in un gruppo, per identificarsi nella comunità metal. Il meme però, come buona parte della cultura metal, ha incominciato ad invadere altre culture e oggi è usato a sproposito in tutti i mainstream media. Dee Snider vorrebbe tornare alla purezza originale, riappropriandosi di un gesto settario. Ovviamente la sua è una trovata goliardica ma è un segnale dei tempi che cambiano. La cultura metal ormai è mainstream, anche grazie a lui visto che l’hair metal degli anni 80 entrò nella cultura pop grazie ai video dei Twisted Sister, dei W.A.S.P. ecc su MTV. Tutti i gruppi o cantanti pop di oggi inseriscono elementi metal nel loro repertorio. Perfino il growl e lo scream sono stati sdoganati e si possono sentire in radio. Incredibile fino a 15 anni fa.

Comunque esiste un modo per mantenere la purezza dell’Heavy Metal: insegnare ai propri figli la retta via! Così la tradizione non morirà mai e il Metal vivrà per sempre! Un esempio? Mio nipotino alla batteria ha già assorbito la tradizione. Horns up Andrew!!

This list may quite possibly trigger a mad dash to itunes or your nearest record/CD store upon your review. Greatest Hits or Best Of CD’s are sometimes the perfect fix if you do not have any of the respective band’s albums/CD’s already. If you are like me, (a collector and sometimes over excited fan), you may like some or many bands so much, you just need to own everything that is available by such bands, including Greatest Hits. If this list of incredible Greatest Hits CD’s recruits even one new fan to the Heavy/Extreme Music genres, then I have done a fine Metal deed. Please note, I own each Greatest Hits or so named CD on this list… I could never recommend an album/CD without listening to it’s entirety and/or having ownership of. Integrity in Heavy Metal Music recommendations is an ethical must.

The Best Of Ted Nugent – Great Gonzos! – Absolutely a Hard Rock meets Heavy Metal fusion with The Motor City Madman. Cat Scratch Fever, Stranglehold, Wango Tango, Free For All and Dog Eat Dog are late 1970’s into early 1980’s FM radio Classics. Old School and not a lick here that isn’t memorable for Metal life. Plus, the reissue has 3 bonus tracks too.

IRON MAIDEN – Somewhere Back In Time/The Best Of 1980 – 1989 - An undeniably great assortment of Iron Maiden classics, spanning the unreal Metal ’80’s. 2 Minutes To Midnight and The Trooper are enough to get me psyched out of my Metal mind for at least an hour. In my Metal opinion, Iron Maiden could have/should have released a 2 – disc greatest hits, they have that many incredible songs in their Metal catalog. Yes they do.

Jimi Hendrix - Experience Hendrix: The Best of Jimi Hendrix - A Hard Rock evolving into Heavy Metal history lesson is heard here on this album. This album of Jimi Hendrix songs are beyond great… their damn sacred. Purple Haze, The Wind Cries Mary, Hey Joe, Foxy Lady, All Along The Watchtower and the Rock historical – Star Spangled Banner… c’mon, these songs are the Metal building blocks of every Heavy Metal and/or Hard Rock genre out there today. 20 songs total on this masterful collection, not a must have… a no brainer must own.

DIO – The Very Best Of DIO – Ronnie James Dio is a living Metal legend. His vocals for me, are the epitome of what Heavy Metal singing is all about. Dio’s solo career takes center stage on this amazing collection of greatest hits. Holy Diver, Rainbow In The Dark, Rock and Roll Children, Mystery and The Last In Line are DIO songs that pack the same potent Metal punch to my ears and senses… as they did back in the 1980’s. 16 songs total on this DIO disc. Metal masterpieces only sound better with age.

Black Sabbath – The Dio Years - I find this collection of Black Sabbath songs to be uncannily irresistible. These are the Black Sabbath songs from the Ronnie James Dio era, with the Heaven and Hell, Mob Rules, Live Evil and Dehumanizer albums all represented. This same Black Sabbath lineup may be called Heaven and Hell in 2009, yet does it really matter? Their still Black Sabbath to me.

Twisted Sister – Big Hits and Nasty Cuts – Dee Snider made Heavy Metal all the more visible on MTV with the Twisted Sister video We’re Not Gonna Take It, back in 1984. This Twisted Sister greatest hits album is loaded with 6 live bonus tracks as well. This is another band that could easily fill up more than one disc of great songs from their Heavy Metal catalog. Under The Blade and The Kids Are Back are my two favorites on this one.

KISS – Double Platinum – I have proudly owned this album since it’s release back in 1978. I was in seventh grade back then and this was my very first KISS album. My Double Platinum album is still in beautiful condition too. A 2 record set, opening up as a gatefold, this album also included a platinum record certificate to the fan who purchased it. (I wish I kept this piece of KISS memorabilia, it was just made of paper and it hung on my bedroom wall for several years, when I was a kid of course). The important thing is I still have Double Platinum on vinyl… plus I upgraded Double Platinum by buying the CD many years ago too. (It is not a double CD, all the songs are on just one… I don’t know if this ever changed over to a double CD over the years). Just about every important and cool KISS song from the 1970’s is on Double Platinum, with Hard Luck Woman and Calling Dr. Love being my two vintage KISS favorites.

Queensryche - Sign of the Times, The Best Of Queensryche – Buying this CD suited me well since many of my Queensryche “albums” were purchased on cassette years ago. Queensryche has always been a favorite of mine, a high powered – progressive Metal Band that crossed over into Rock and Hard Rock too. Musical diversity is no stranger to Queensryche. My two favorites are Queen of the Reich and Jet City Woman. Yes, those two songs are tops on my list.

Alice Cooper – Alice Coopers Greatest Hits – This album was released back in 1974, it is the Greatest Hits of Alice Cooper (The Band). Man, this is Old School Heavy Metal. Sure, some may argue it is comprised of Old School Hard Rock as well… that is fine by me. The Metal bottom line is this: Alice Cooper (The Band), was just as much as important to the creation of Heavy Metal as any other band of their time or before them. That is my Metal opinion and I have to tell it to the world. Oh, yeah, my favorite songs from this Greatest Hits are – No More Mr. Nice Guy, Under My Wheels and well, just every song on this Greatest Hits is great.

Motorhead – The Best Of Motorhead - This is one great and comprehensive double disc, greatest hits of Motorhead. I bought this Motorhead disc due to my needing any and all of their releases, regardless if I already have the songs. This Best Of was released in 2000, with two live bonus tracks included. There are 40 songs total on this double disc Motorhead bounty! Also found on The Best Of Motorhead are: Hawkwind playing Motorhead, Girlschool covers Bomber and Headgirl covering Please Don’t Touch. The history of Motorhead is covered up to the year 2000, from Ace of Spades to the Motorhead cover version of God Save The Queen. Plus, my favorite Motorhead song of all time is on here too – Killed By Death, from the No Remorse (Greatest Hits album). Long live Lemmy and Motorhead.

I could go on and on with this list of Heavy Metal Greatest Hits CD’s worth owning. Showing and quipping about some of the Greatest Hits CD’s I own, can maybe help out someone who is on the fence about one of these bands or musicians. These CD’s above are all consistently listened to by me, they are perfect for when I’m in the mood to hear the choice songs from these bands/musicians. As Dee Snider has sung, with Heavy Metal pride: You can’t stop Rock and Roll!

It’s one month away and time to get in the spirit! Our tree’s going up this weekend, so this, one of my daughters’ favorite Christmas songs, is in recognition of that. Ladies and gentlemen…Twisted Sister!

Det handlar bara om en timme men visst är det grymt skönt att vara hemma tjugo över fyra istället för tjugo över fem. Framförallt på en fredag.

Ikväll blir det fotboll i Agnebergshallen för hela slanten. Systrarna spelar DM vilket blir ett utmärkt tillfälle att testa nya kameran i hallmiljö. Jag ska dessutom leka lite med en möjligt ny leksak. En arbetskompis ska sälja sin Nikon D50 och det kliar lite i fingrarna måste jag säga. Får väl sätta mig och räkna lite och se om jag och min ekonomi är lika överens om hur roligt det är.

Ronnie James Dio inlagd på sjukan och ingen verkar vilja säga varför. Grabben är 69 år ung så det är väl bara att hålla alla tummar, tår och knäskålar för att det inte är något allvarligt. Tyvärr innebär det här att alla spelningar är inställda. Jag har tyvärr aldrig sett Dio solo och såg verkligen fram mot 7 december. Men som sagt. Håll tummarna. Förhoppningsvis gör han en Ozzy och står på scen i januari igen.

Helg var det ja. Inte så mycket inplanerat förutom Butlers imorgon. Nu är det två veckor sen sist. Känns som att det var ännu längre sen faktiskt. Ska bli intressant och se om det kan bli bättre sen sist.

Omnämnadet på bohuslaningen.se? Verkligen skitkul måste jag säga. Det gör mig ju inte mindre taggad att göra ett grymt bra jobb i fortsättningen. Grymt mycket bättre än vad det var igår. För det finns mycket att jobba med.

Ainda em comemoração ao clima natalino que o Ao Sugo está entrando nestes últimos tempos (e pretende se aprofundar mais para frente), nada como trazer para vocês uma demonstração de um dos mais conhecidos movimentos culturais que surgiram no século XX, numa curiosa releitura da temática cujo maior símbolo ainda é o senhor Papai Noel.

Trata-se de uma versão da música Oh Come All Ye Faithfull, que poderíamos traduzir como “Vinde todos os Fiés”, conhecida mundialmente por seu nome em latim, Adeste Fidelis. Esta variante é executada pela banda Twisted Sister, cujos componentes orgulham-se em chafurdar na própria tosquice e, portanto, perfazem uma das bandas mais divertidas que podemos conhecer facilmente. A música está presente no álbum Twisted Christmas, lançado em outubro de 2006. É o tipo de manifestação que deveria, certamente, acontecer em cidades e locais onde fulgura um moralismo escroto como, por exemplo, muitas cidadecas interioranas e com mentalidade provincial.

Hey, guess what? The Daily Wrazz is a year old! Hey, guess whatter? This is my hunnert post! Even with dismal math skills, you’ll quickly deduce that my blog hardly qualifies as “daily.” But with a considerable graveyard of ditched verbiage in my digital past (I bore so easily — myself and others), the fact this sucker still exists is a monumental achievement.

Especially when you consider that every year at this time I sit and calmly await the onset of my annual melancholy. Well, that’s what I call it, but to be honest I’ve never been able to differentiate between melancholy and sloth. But it hits like clockwork every winter. Back when your roving scrivener was ankle-high to an AP History textbook, this would usually be the time my grades started slipping. I’d lose interest in scholastic regimen and let my homework fester like a PBJ forgotten atop a radiator. My responses to test questions — even the essay portions at which I excelled (flush am I with B.S.) — may as well have been glum variations on “What’s the use?” Compounding that was a heart heavy with pant and pine as I’d gaze into the living-room fireplace, wondering what it’d be like to unfasten a brassiere in its erotic crackle.

I don’t know what causes it. Perhaps it’s the trees, stripped of their loveliness, dead to me, dead to us all. Perhaps it’s the puffy winter garments that turn me into a bloated potato, or the harrowing conditions I face as a lowly pedestrian when God spits ice down my block, coating every surface — even candidates for necessary balance — in embarrassment and pain. Also, I’m not a big fan of white everything, or the threat of white everything. Give me a gush of visual variety besides the numbed crimson of misery-laden cheeks (what an optimist calls “rosy”).

The sad thing is that I’ve no real reason to be sad. I’ve a steady job with a reasonable income, something I enjoy doing. Plus, I received two additional potentials today that please me greatly as an unrepentant capitalist. God, did I wanna blow some cash at the news. I compromised by dropping ten on a used copy 0f the late Robert Palmer’s (no, not this one) Deep Blues, which joins other tomes on my shelf of inspiration. Best of all, I have clean clothes for tomorrow, which is nice, considering I’ve slipped into the same dress shirt and high-school athletic tee two days straight. (That, I think, is the lazy part. Perhaps a shave’s in order too.)

The First Thanksgiving: So the Indians sat at the kids' table?

Even better: Thanksgiving lands next week. A most welcome respite of family interaction, wooly sweaters, acres of gravy bleeding through dark-meat dams, banter swimming through the pumpkin-cinnamon air, and, most importantly, leftovers, so’s I don’t gotta visit the 7-Eleven to fuel nocturnal scribbles. (NOTE TO SELF: Pitch to the empire a Cranberry Sauce Big Bite, drowned in gravy and stuffing chunks ’stead o’ gross, goopy chili [Stove Top squirts 'stead o' starchy bleats].)

Then, with the gobble growing rear-view faint, I can bust out the Christmas music proper: Dean Martin, Twisted Sister, Bootsy Collins. In the holiday spirit I could ask my father to loose the Cory Frye Archives, particularly my long-lost Screaming Santas EP, with its ever-so-festive rendition of Big Star’s “Jesus Christ.” Maybe I’ll excavate enough space in my apartment rubble — now that I’m finally making enough to afford it without my savings account giving me the finger — to park a Douglas fir, along with presents and flocking and sprinkles of glittery white shit I’ll be vacuuming up and blasting off socks ’til June.

Better yet, to make a little coin on the side, I’ll install a bad-ass speaker system and transform the whole of my lair into an exclusive club. Nothing snuffs wintry sadness like the Hustle, a VIP room and a humidor. But, then, what kind of cover should I charge? Should I make exceptions for acquaintances? Will crashers exploit my natural sympathy, tug at my conscience with pleas of “But it’s Christmas!”? What kind of world do we live in when your fellow man and even your closest friends are willing to take advantage of your hospitality like that? And since department stores hail the coming yuletide as far back as August 16, does that mean I’m up to my eyeteeth in freeloaders five, six months out of the year? Whatever happened to peace on earth, good will to men? Those fucks! Those evil pricks! You know what? Shit on Christmas, piss on winter, and butt-jack that fat, jolly consumerist propoganda icon with the fossilized remnants of our moribund American economy! Aw, hell, I’m gloomy again.

Sábado passado rolou no Via Funchal o show do Twisted Sister e, conforme definiu o vocalista, foi a melhor resposta do público em toda a sua carreira, mais de 25 anos de estrada!!!

A noite era de heavy metal. Seis mil pessoas cantaram os clássicos da banda Twisted Sister na noite do último sábado (14), no Via Funchal,  em São Paulo. “You Can’t Stop Rock and Roll” e “I Wanna Rock” embalaram os fãs até o fim da apresentação. Não importava se era tarde da noite.

Além da banda norte-americana, muitos músicos e artistas preferem a noite. Eles acreditam que por seus mistérios, a noite é ideal para fazer composições, shows, festas e ter maior contato com o público. O músico Leonam de Oliveira, 20 anos, que atualmente é vocalista da banda Sillen, garante que a noite é muito melhor para se fazer todos os tipos de atividades. “Eu gosto da noite, prefiro fazer qualquer coisa, seja estudar, trabalhar, compor, sair. Me sinto melhor”.

Leonam acredita que as melhores apresentações acontecem durante a noite, que nesse período as pessoas tornam-se mais receptivas e a energia do show flui com mais intensidade. O músico afirma também que é nessas horas que ensaios e shows parecem funcionar melhor, tanto para a banda quanto para o público. “Nos shows, as pessoas se soltam mais, e se tornam mais receptivas ao que a banda quer passar, talvez até pelo costume ou pela mentalidade: durante o dia trabalhar, a noite festar”.

Já para Thiago de Paula, 26 anos, manager da banda Ou3tória, a noite tem muitos mistérios, o que incita os artistas à composição de músicas e à criação em geral. “Devido à noite ser mais calma, o artista fica mais consigo mesmo, isolado de certa forma e ao mesmo tempo livre, livre para produzir”.

Thiago é o profissional da banda que fecha os contratos entre o grupo e as casas noturnas. O manager não é fã da noite, prefere o pôr do sol ou o amanhecer, pois acredita que são nesses momentos que as coisas se transformam, podendo ser notada a força da natureza.

A preferência dos jovens pela noite é explicada pela movimentação que isso causa, o acúmulo de pessoas em um mesmo espaço. “Como diz a musica de Humberto Gessinger, Novos Horizontes, ‘corpos em movimento o universo em expansão…’ . Talvez sejam os corpos em movimento mesmo, onde as festas são universos em expansão, expansão de alegria”, garante Thiago.

Como vocês sabem, ontem eu fui no show do Twisted Sister ~ALONE~ muito triste, sei, sei. Mas nem por isso eu ~~~SAD~~~ eu fui esperta o suficiente para aceitar o meu próprio corpo e sabe que eu tenho a altura de um bigato.

Fui esperta o suficiente pra chegar às 8 da manhã e esperar 14 horas na fila pra ficar na ~~~~GRADEEE~~~~ blz, meu pai me deixou lá e falou:

Daí eu disse: “PAPI, CONTE COMIGO”

Anyway, chegay, me assentei, e notei que todo mundo, TODO MUNDO tava de preto. Sério, eu pensei que tinha dado apagão nas roupas deles. Tirando que eu era a única de branco. Me senti como uma pomba branca mensageira da paz de Jesus no meio da plebe de Satã.

Anyway. Tava quente. Muito quente. Tão quente que meu bronzeado está desigual agora.

Belesma, lá fiquei. Lá fiquei esperando alguém falar comigo. Olho para a direita, ninguém. Olho para a esquerda, ninguém. Olho para frente, ninguem. Olho pra trás, formicas no meu cofrinho.

Ai que cu, até essa hora tava tudo um cu. Até que os fotógrafos oficiais da banda vieram tirar fotos da gelëre animadenha da fila. Bom, eles tiraram de todo mundo, menos de mim, porque o bossal do meu lado tava contando homens vestidos de mulher pulando a cerca (carneirinhos, alô?). Enfim, adeus à fama, adeus à felicidade, e adeus à chance de estar no site oficial, ok.

Aí deu 20h, hora da casa abrir e da bibia pegar a grade. Bom, deve lhes dizer que pegar grade NÃO é fácil, meus pequenos padawans (Satan Wars, oi?), você tem que correr nas escadas rolantes, não ligar se seu buraquinho da alegria, vulgo cofrinho, está aparecendo e todo mundo tá vendo, e você tem que estar cagando e andando pra pessoa atrás que não consegue ver o show, porque a sua querida cabecinha está atrapalhando a visão do “camarada”. Sabe por quê? Porque o cara vai te encoxar o show todo.

Enfim, o show começou com a abertura impecável do massacration, e depois de alguns anos luz algumas horas alguns minutos o Twisted resolveu apresentar.  Eu deveria ter ficado assustada com aquele bando de tiozões sukita vestidos de mulher tocando metal bem na minha frente, e também do cover do vocalista estar me encoxando. Mas quando você fica 14 horas no sol tudo parece mais “normal”.

Mano, foi perfeito. Quando o Dee Snider (monstro acima) tava bem na minha frente, olhando pra mim, decidi mandar beijinho que nem a minha amiga fez num outro show, e o vocalista mandou de volta (!!!). Beleza, mandei, e o feitiço do ~AMOR~ funcionou e ele mandou o beijinho de volta.

Mas como nem tudo são flores na vida, o guitarrista não gostava de mim, porque toda vez que ele passava na minha frente, eu passava mal, já que todo mundo me transformava em grade, né. Sei, é um combo twist carpado na cara do sociedade. Aí o guitarrista decidiu dar palheta das duas pessoas DO MEU LADO e não deu pra mim. Bom, eu consegui um beijinho do Dee Snider, palheta eu compro por dois real. AQUELE ABRAÇO.

AC/DC volta a São Paulo

Se ainda não se tornou, São Paulo está muito próxima de virar a capital mundial do Rock. Mais do que ser uma espécie de roteiro obrigatório para bandas das mais variadas vertentes do estilo, tem feito com que grandes nomes roqueiros repitam a dose quase que em ritmo semestral.

A única apresentação do TWISTED SISTER no Brasil será no dia 14 de novembro, na Via Funchal, em São Paulo. Os ingressos variam entre R$ 140 e R$ 250.

Definitivamente uma das bandas mais divertidas da história do metal, mais especificamente Hair Metal, com grandes clássicos como “We´re not gonna take it” e “I wanna Rock” . O Twisted Sister fez história com as músicas, roupas e maquiagens que trouxeram ao mundo um estilo nunca visto antes, muito copiado, mas creio que nunca repetido.

Confira abaixo alguns trechos da entrevista concedida por telefone ao jornal “O Estado de São Paulo”, onde Dee Snider, vocalista do TWISTED SISTER, falou sobre diversos momentos que ocorreram durante a carreira da banda.

O surgimento do Hair Metal nos EUA na década de 80:

“Surgimos em 1976 e assinamos nosso primeiro contrato em 1981, na Inglaterra, antes dessa onda de Hair Metal toda existir. Bandas como MOTÖRHEAD e SAXON dominavam. Depois, todos copiaram nosso estilo. Tocávamos cinco vezes por semana para milhares de adolescentes. Bandas como Bon Jovi, CINDERELLA e POISON, foram nos assistir para aprender (…) Sempre fui discriminado entre essas bandas. Dou risada quando leio a biografia deles. É tudo tão previsível. Eles precisam saber que fomos nós quem inventamos o Hair Metal”.

A reunião da banda após 15 anos (1987 – 2002):

“Minha maior motivação para essa reunião era tornar a relação da banda melhor. Viramos inimigos no final. A melhor maneira de reconstruir nossa amizade foi fazendo shows, mas não esperava que durasse tanto tempo, não é isso que quero da minha vida (…) O TWISTED SISTER é um hobbie. Fazemos 25 shows por ano e nunca entramos em turnês, são apresentações esporádicas”.

Provavelmente o Twisted Sister vai fazer um dos Shows mais divertidos do ano em São Paulo nesse dia 14, o que vai rolar? Eu conto para vocês depois do Show, mas só aqui, no ViShows.
