Det gör ont och svider, men vi gör det som vänner.. Vi fick en underbar kväll och natt tillsammans trots det tråkiga vi hade framför oss…. 12.00 lämnade jag hennes lgh för sista gången som pojkvän.. Nu är vi “bara” vänner..

Nästa gång jag kommer dit så är det som en vän.. och jag hoppas det sker snart..

(4/7/99, 1 a.m. PST) – After drumming up plenty of publicity with select promotional appearances, this summer Blondie will stage its first U.S. tour in more than 16 years, beginning May 15 in Boston.

The trek is in support of the band’s reunion effort, No Exit, which has been greeted with moderate success in the U.S. The album is No. 75 this week in its fifth week on the Billboard 200.

Tickets for the tour, which will run through June 10, will go on sale on Friday (April 9) through www.mp3vita.net and www.entiregoods.com, as well as local ticket outlets, beginning the weekend of April 10.

Ray Waddell, who covers talent and touring for industry trade publication Amusement Business, expects the tour to do good business. “There’s been a lot of media and a lot of buzz,” he notes.

At Unchained Talent, 20-year-old Satya Godfrey sings, acts, dances, and writes poetry and plays.

“I’ve been in the program since the program first started- I was here in 04′ left and came back.”

When I first started coming here it was just something to do because I didn’t feel like being in the house. But when I came back to this school (Lake-Clifton High School) from Catonsvilles, it was just like my way to express myself freely. Writing poetry is what really keeps me calm. I use this program as a outlet.”

“Mostly, I write about what is on my mind at the present time.”

Godfrey said she was raised in West Baltimore, in the Murphy Homes Projects section.

“In my neighborhood, it is a lot of gang violence, drugs, a lot of… I’ve seen a lot men beatings and women beating. I have seen a lot in that neighborhood. I had a cousin killed in a drive by when I was nine. It is a lot of people around there with disease- HIV/AIDS.”

“I fought a lot because I was the type of child where I didn’t know how to talk about my feelings and deal with my anger, so really before I started coming here, like I used to fight like everyday. Fighting was the only thing that I ever really got into. I wasn’t into drugs, that just wasn’t me. I lost a lot of people to gangs violence and drugs,  so it was something that I never wanted to do with my life.”

“I finally got to the point where Ms.Kris (Executive Director of Unchained Talent), she wouldn’t leave me alone until I would actually talk about how I felt, and as I got to know her a little better over the years, then I started to open up more. I guess being here and knowing that there is someone out here that does care about me has made an huge impact on my life because I have seen a tremendous change from what I used to be to the way I am now.”

“I use to think that it was me against the world because I was so used to getting hurt. I felt like every person that came into my life, you feel me, was just like the one before, the last person that hurt me. So I started just shutting down and pushing everyone away from me but I realized that it wasn’t people turning their back on me, sometime it was, but 50-percent of the time it was me turning my back on everybody else, not realizing that the people that were right in front of me, you feel me, was what I was looking for the whole time. I just had to open up my eyes and see that.”

Godfrey said that it makes here feel good to see the things that she has written performed by others. “It shows that everything that I been through hasn’t been in vain. It shows that there has been some purpose to the struggles that I have been through, you know, I honestly believe that everything happens for a reason. By me telling my story, you feel me, or putting myself out there, even though it is hard sometimes and it takes me back to certain points in my life that I would like to forget. But just to know that I might reach one person that is in the audience, you know,  or save one persons life, that is, to me everything that I have gone through up until this point is worth it.”

“I am committed to it(Unchained Talent). It is like it has become a part of my life and my way of thinking. “

Godfrey describes her at home environment as effy. ” Sometimes it is good and sometimes it is bad. The reason why I’m here so much and out if the house because me and my family don’t get along. At first, it was me, my mother, my grandmother, and my brother, and throughout my whole life my mother has been sick and I was always the one who took care of her.  Her health started to get back and then my grandmother’s health started to fail. Right around this time, her and my mother started getting into it real heavy and my mother left, first my brother left, then my mother turned around and left, so it just left me and my grandmother. So it got to that point to where at though, I’m the one that is the caretaker again. It is like now with my grandmother, she is getting older, and she is used to being independent, so when you try to help her, she kind of pushes you away because she doesn’t know how to accept help. So with a lot of my family member, they feel as though I’m not taking care of her the way that she should be taken car of and then one of the huges problems now is my sexuality.”

“My family doesn’t agree with it(her sexuality). My mother agrees with it but the rest of my family they really don’t like it or care for it, so it is like I basically become the outcast in my family. So a lot of my family member have turned their backs on me and it is just a lot to deal with. So  when I’m out the house, I’m happy and I’m good but when I go home, it is like my whole demeanor change because I have to go back to that same old stuff.”

” What I really want is for my family to be happy for me and support me. But I know that is not happening.”

Godfrey says that this is the first year that her mother will come out to she her perform. “Out my whole life, every time I did anything with a performance or basketball, she was always sick. So this is the first year that she hasn’t been sick ,and the first year when she can actually come, and really see what it is that I’m doing.”

“I know a lot of girls that are gang members. With them, a lot them it is the same situation, they feel like that is their only option because I know a lot of kids. I have known people for years, like some of the kids that I know when they where in school, they were like straight A students. They could see, they could rap and sing- better than some of these artist out here. They have talent, they have gifts, they just don’t know how to use it and they feel the same thing like it is them against the world and nobody else is going to take care of them so they go to fend for themselves. “

” It is little kids out here that are eight years old, out here selling drugs that I personally know. They are walking around with guns. One guys I know he is eight, his mother is a drug addict,  then his father is in jail and then the only person that is taking care of him was his grandmother and she has died.”

Godfrey says that if you give a child an outlet like Unchained Talent then they will soar.

“Right now, I’m working towards going to Allegheny. I got accepted into Allegheny for culinary arts. Cooking is one of my passions.”

This blog will be a record of my attempts at opening up on groups of strangers and watching how I change social dynamic. I describe this as a quest to understand how i project myself to societal forces and how such forces respond to that projection. Deep, i know. Let’s rephrase: this is a quest build this mythical technique of picking up chicks by going up to random groups of people and chatting them up. Take your pick, it all amounts to the same thing.

I couldn’t think of a good name for the blog. So I came up with “U to “A” as a way to abstract this “thing” in terms of levels. In academia and sports, there exists rating and ranking systems where we start at U (unclassified, useless noob) and work our way up the ranks:

E([E]h, you have some experience but you have no idea what’s going on)

D([D]amn, you have a sense of the basics, you still suck)

C([C]learly haven’t given up. You have a mountain of “experience” behind you. And by “experience” I mean “screwups”. Starting to see a glimmer at the end of the tunnel.)

B([B]ravo! you know what works for you..sometimes – not consistent at all. You came to realize that that glimmer you saw…was all in your head. There’s no tunnel and there’s no light)

A([A]lright, you know what you’re doing. You’re decent. But most importantly, you understand how to get better).

Now, progress in what i’m going to be doing is absolutely subjective and arbitrary. Compound that truth with the fact that i’m a “U”. So it should be stated that i’m pretty damn clueless in both what i’m saying and doing. I fully expect to be embarrassed and humbled over and over again. But hey, you only live once – might as well laugh about it.

Comentários: Assisti no cinema e valeu cada centavo. Não só porque eu gosto de animação, mas porque o filme é completo, do drama à comédia, embora, para falar a verdade, é mais triste que divertido. Eu sei que isso parece meio esquisito, já que o público alvo é a criançada, que geralmente está lá para dar boas risadas o tempo todo. Mas não me entendam mal, as piadas são singelas, aparecem no tempo certo e você não consegue deixar de gargalhar por uns bons segundos, mas de modo geral o filme é bem triste. Se não tomar cuidado, rolam umas duas ou três lágrimas já nos dez primeiros minutos . Ah, eu assisti dublado e adorei Chico Anísio como Sr. Fredricksen.

Daha önce değişimle ilgili bir yazı yazmıştım.Sonrasında bir arkadaşım yanlış ve gereksiz yere o yazıyı üzerine alınmış.Hiç vakit kaybetmeden pat diye kendi blogunda değişim üzerine bir yazı patlatmış.Öncelikle kendisini tebrik etmek istiyorum.Çünkü eğer alınmasaydı aramızdaki soğukluk için çare üretmeyecektik.Çare değil de kafalara takılan sorulara cevap bulamayacaktık.Ya da o bulamayacaktı.Böyle demesi daha doğru oluyor.Sonuç? Konuştuk, ettik insan gibi ve görünürde bir problem kalmadı.Akıllarda başka soru işareti kalmamıştır umarım diyerek bir başka dala atlıyorum.

Lise hayatını karşı cinsle daha iyi anlaşarak geçirmiş olan biri için kendi cinsiyle bu kadar samimi olmak nasıl bir şeydir anlatamam.Tüm lise zamanı boyunca etrafımda hep kızlar oldu.Öyle duygusal bir ilişki filan da değil hani.Bildiğin kızlarla daha iyi anlaşıyordum.Şimdi ise dengeler epey değişti.Kızlarla daha iyi filan anlaşmıyorum.Evet, anlaşmaya devam ediyorum.Ama bakış açım çok değişti sanırım.Hala “Bir kızla bir erkek arkadaş olamaz.” tezine şiddetle karşıyım.Fakat zamanla bir kızla paylaştıklarınız minimuma iniyor.Yaşadıklarınız farklılaştıkça, konuştuklarınız da farklılaşıyor.Her şeyinizi bilemiyorlar artık.Daha doğrusu bilmiyorlar.Yine sonuç: Artık kızdan çok erkek arkadaşım var.Yaşasın men power!

Bir başka dala atlıyorum şimdi de.Öncelikle kimse alınmasın.Fena şekilde genel konuşuyorum ve yakın arkadaşlarımla alakalı değil bu mevzu(Önlemimi aldım.).İnsanların gerçek yüzlerini görmeye başladım bu aralar.Aslında hep görüyormuşum da görmek istemiyormuşum.Ama bunu büyük felaket senaryolarıyla birleştirip bunalıma girecek bir adam değilim ben.İnsanlara fazla değer vermediğimi bilen bilir.Tabi ailem ve yakın arkadaşlarım için pek geçerli değil bu değer vermeme mevzusu.Sadece şunu söyleyebilirim ki yakın çevremde bile değer verme listem epey değişti.Bir şeyleri listelemek gibi bir hobim olduğundan düşünüyorum böyle ara ara kimle iyiyim, kimle bilmem neyim diye.Değişmiş sadece.Çok az olmuş, az çok olmuş.Kimi çokken daha çok olmuş.Kimi azken iyice az olmuş.Budur…

I’ve written periodically of my flirtation with dumping cable for an Internet-only approach to my TV watching. I haven’t, however, pulled the trigger–mostly because cable still has a lot of live programming, such as news and sports, that I can’t replicate over the Net alone.

That’s why I’m intrigued by Sezmi, a TV service that’s announcing that it’s rolling out to its first real customers (in Los Angeles). The service aims to provide a more personalized, Net-savvy, inexpensive alternative to cable and satellite–complete with the real broadcast and cable channels you can’t get from Apple TV, Roku, or Vudu. It does so via a 1TB DVR/set-top box that provides access to three types of TV sources: broadcast stations, cable channels, and Internet content. (It snags the first two kinds over the air, via a powerful antenna in a box that looks like a loudspeaker: Sezmi simply grabs local broadcast channels as is, and the company is leasing spectrum from local broadcasters to transmit cable channels–including both standard-def and HD.)

Sezmi’s lineup of cable channels isn’t as expansive as a higher-tier package on cable or satellite, but it’s got Animal Planet, Bravo, Cartoon Network,  CNN, Comedy Central, Discovery, MSNBC, MTV, Nickelodeon, Oxygen, SyFy, TBS, TCM, TLC, TNT, VH1, and more. The most notable omissions are sports channels–I don’t see ESPN or others in the lineup–and premium movie channels such as HBO, Showtime, and Cinemax. But Sezmi does offer a store that sells and rents movies and TV shows from a library of thousands of titles (powered in part by Roxio’s Cinemanow). You also get access to Internet video such as YouTube and podcasts.

The service is touting itself as

Sezmi uses its roomy 1TB hard disk to give each member of the family his or her own personalized on-demand TV experience: Grownups and kids both get program guides tailored to their watching habits that weave together broadcast, cable, and Internet shows, including ones on the DVR and ones showing at scheduled times.

The company gave me a sneak peek that included a demo of its interface: It’s impossible to come to definitive conclusions without hands-on time, and I’m particularly curious about how seamlessly it knits together its disparate sources of content. But from what I saw, it looks reasonably promising.

How much will you pay for Sezmi, and where will you get it? Its goal is to undercut the cost of cable: Basic service that only includes broadcast stations will go for $4.99 a month, and a broadcast/cable package will cost $24.99 a month. A la carte movies and TV episodes are extra. You’ll either buy the box and antenna (for $299, $50 more than TiVo charges for a DVR with one-sixth the capacity) or rent it. Once the service rolls out to more regions–which the company says will happen soon–it’ll be available both at retail stores and through service providers such as medium-sized phone companies and DSL ISPs.

I generally feel like I’m watching maybe five percent of the channels my Comcast cable service gives me–and among the very few that I’m not willing to give up are CNN, MSNBC, and TCM. So Sezmi, which has all those stations, sounds like a plausible alternative–and even if I had to plunk down $299 for the box, I’d make it up pretty quickly in the money I’d save over cable.

Cable and satellite TV subscribers: Are you basically happy, or does Sezmi sound alluring?

Fed up of not being able to close the dusty drawers of my bedside cabinet, I decided to have a clearout and shed all of the underwear I deemed to be unnecessary.

I suspect if I had been male I would have pragmatically sorted it all out into two distinct piles:

Pile 1 = Good
Pile 2 = Bad (bin)

Because I am not male (although some days my ever-insistent facial hair tells me different) I managed to invent a system of underwear sorting that divides it into 6 categories as follows:

Pile 1 = Massive and grey (but useful)
Pile 2 = Worn out and tired
Pile 3 = Maternity (for staving off unwanted attention)
Pile 4 = Ridiculously small
Pile 5 = Ridiculously frilly
Pile 6 = Just Ridiculous.

Only one of these piles went in the bin. The rest have been neatly folded and put into colour order.
