La semana pasada escuchandole a Jono en su Broadcast anunciaba oh decia que la semana abierta de Ubuntu esta por llegar.

Esta semana abierta se dara inicio la semana despues de la salida de Ubuntu 9.04 osea el 27 de Abril para ser exacto.

Esta reuniones oh charlas se realizaran atravez del canal IRC #ubuntu-aula del servidor irc.freenode.net con horarios de 1500UTC a 2100UTC

Existira tambien el periodo ya conocido de seccion sabdfl Q+A donde podras preguntar a Mark Shuttleworth acerca de Ubuntu y su negocio.

Durante el 3 de noviembre al 7 se llevará a cabo el Ubuntu Open Week. Durante estos días, además de debatir sobre Ubuntu en general, se dará una atención especial al desarrollo de Jaunty Jacklope, la próxima versión de Ubuntu.

Ubuntu 8.10 (codename: Intrepid Ibex) is just about to be released anytime today (30 Oct). A lot of us can’t wait till we can start downloading the new version of our favourite distro, and I would just like to stress that we all should get the official .torrent file. It will be a lot faster and will save Canonical’s bandwidth.

Upon the release of Intrepid Ibex the Ubuntu Open Week has been announced for the week of Monday 3 Nov – Friday 7 Nov in #ubuntu-classroom on Freenode.

There’s loads of great sessions scheduled for the Open Week. Personally, I’m mostly interested and looking forward to all bug-related sessions.

Choose the ones you like and get interactive with worldwide ubuntu community.

Η Ubuntu Open Week επιστρέφει αυτό το μήνα ( 28 Απριλίου έως 3 Μαΐου ) με ενδιαφέροντα θέματα. Κατά τη διάρκεια της Ubuntu Open Week λαμβάνουν χώρα κάποια sessions-tutorials που ο καθένας μπορεί να παρακολουθήσει μέσω IRC. Διάφοροι ομιλητές αναπτύσσουν, εξηγούν, διδάσκουν, αναλύουν διάφορα θέματα που αφορούν την Ubuntu linux distribution και γενικότερα το linux. Τα sessions χωρίζονται σε δύο μέρη. Το πρώτο κομμάτι καταλαμβάνεται από την “ομιλία”, ενώ στο δέυτερο μπορούν να γίνουν ερωτήσεις ( όχι πάντα ). Καλό θα είναι να διαβάσετε τους κανόνες συμπεριφοράς.

Ο καθένας μπορεί να πάρει μέρος στα sessions. Αρκεί ένας IRC client και να συνδεθείτε στο #ubuntu-classroom ( στο irc.freenode.net ). Οδηγίες για να συνδεθείτε. Περισσότερα για τη χρήση του δικτύου freenode.

Κατά τη γνώμη μου είναι μια μοναδική ευκαιρία που όποιος ενδιαφέρεται για τα συγκεκριμένα θέματα δεν πρέπει να χάσει.

El ya popular Ubuntu Open Week regresa este mes que sera desde el 28 de Abril hasta el 3 de Mayo, asi que todos los estan bienvenidos (ingles) estas charlas se realizaran en el canal de irc #ubuntu-classroom. Ubuntu ya se a convertido en el distro Estandar de Linux, en menos de 2 años a ganado tanta popularidad y muchos usuarios tanto en PC de escritorios, Laptops y Servidores.

• Ablar con algun developer especifico acerca de los proyectos de Ubuntu.
