Thank God for “Jasper Schuringa.”  He may have been an ordinary passenger but he literally saved the passengers of Detroit Flight 253 on Christmas Day!  

To sum up the incident, Jasper Schuringa was one of the passengers.  He said that around 30 minutes from landing he heard somewhat a firecracker like sound and panic as someone was yelling, “Fire! Fire!”  As he himself saw smoke in the cabin, he realized that something was wrong.  Jasper saw the Nigerian Abdulmutallab’s pants were open and holding a burning object between his legs. He then acted without thinking, leaping 3 of 4 rows forward to confront the alleged terrorist by jumping to him and took him into a headlock and bought him to ground.  As to his words, Jasper pulled the object from him and tried to extinguish the fire with his hands and threw it away.  Others nearby passangers and crew decided to help and the fire burning at Abdulmutallab’s legs was put out with fire extinguishers and blankets.  Jasper’s hands are pretty burned but he is fine and said the he has shaken up.   He also said that he is happy to be there.”  I am giving the credits to CNN for the main source of information. 

This incident somehow reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas.  It’s about saving lives in unexpected manner by the least person we usually never thought he could do.  God’s ways are truly not our ways. Jasper Schuringa is a hero to many and his deeds somehow brings us back to heart of Christmas and the reason behind the season.  

Let me leave you with the infamous Christmas song, “We are the reason” by David Meece.  This song somehow tells the true meaning of Christmas in a way that most of us seem to forget.

How united do you think is United Nation on the issues and recommended actions concerning climate change?  I guess majority of nations’ representative at Copehagen Conference can say that they support the cause regarding climate change.  It’s just that the things are a bit complicated so it is imposible to unite every nation on the issue at this point.  President Barack Obama even mediates over China and other emerging countries but no luck yet.  Nonetheless, somehow someone needs to iniate somehing.  No matter what world is saying, UN is doing what has to be done and the best thing we need to is to support.

Today people waited for 9 hours in the freezing cold to get into COP-15. These people were not just anyone off the street – they were official delegates who were invited and accredited. They were crammed like cattle in an unorganized fashion, given no information for the first 5 hours. After 5 hours they were told it would be 1-2 more hours. At the 9 hour point an estimated total of 50 of hundreds and hundreds of people got through and the UN then decided to let people know they would not be letting them in and to come back tomorrow. An absolute outrage and disgrace for the UN. If you didn’t want the people here – you should not have invited them.

“Smallpox vaccine triggered AIDS virus.”

On May 11, 1987, The London Times, one of the world’s most respected newspapers, published an explosive article entitled, “Smallpox vaccine triggered AIDS virus.” The story suggested the smallpox eradication vaccine program sponsored by the WHO was responsible for unleashing AIDS in Africa. Almost 100 million Africans living in central Africa were inoculated by the WHO. The vaccine was held responsible for awakening a “dormant” AIDS virus infection on the continent.

An advisor to the WHO admitted, “Now I believe the smallpox vaccine theory is the explanation for the explosion of AIDS.” Robert Gallo, M,D., the co-discoverer of HIV, told The Times, “The link between the WHO program and the epidemic is an interesting and important hypothesis. I cannot say that it actually happened, but I have been saying for some years that the use of live vaccines such as that used for smallpox can activate a dormant infection such as HIV.” Despite the tremendous importance of this story, the U.S. media was totally silent on the report, and Gallo never spoke of it again.

In September 1987, at a conference sponsored by the National Health Federation in Monrovia, California, William Campbell Douglass, M.D., bluntly blamed the WHO for murdering Africa with the AIDS virus. In a widely circulated reprint of his talk entitled “W.H.O. Murdered Africa” , he accused the organization of encouraging virologists and molecular biologists to work with deadly animal viruses in an attempt to make an immunosuppressive hybrid virus that would be deadly to humans. From the Bulletin of the World Health Organization (Volume 47, p.259, 1972), he quoted a passage that stated: “An attempt should be made to see if viruses can in fact exert selective effects on immune function. The possibility should be looked into that the immune response to the virus itself may be impaired if the infecting virus damages, more or less selectively, the cell responding to the virus.” According to Douglass, “That’s AIDS. What the WHO is saying in plain English is Let’s cook up a virus that selectively destroys the T-cell system of man, an acquired immune deficiency.’”

It was through Maggiore that I met Mona, whose children, Sean and Dana, have tested HIV-positive. By the state’s definition, they’re not actually her children; Mona is their great aunt and legal guardian. Her niece, a long-time drug user, was unable to act as a responsible mother, so Sean and Dana were remanded to state foster care. Mona took them back to raise as her own.

When I first spoke with Mona, she was stressed and nervous. Sean had twice been sent to the Incarnation Children’s Center (ICC), a “home for HIV positive children” located in Washington Heights. First, as an infant, then again four years ago. And Dana was there until June.

Or the vaccine study to be administered to children “12 months to 8 years” using “live chicken pox virus,” even though one of the consequences of a live virus vaccine can be the disease itself.

Another measures “HIV Levels in Cerebrospinal Fluid.” Cerebrospinal fluid can only be gathered from a spinal tap, a dangerous and invasive procedure.

There’s even a study on HIV-negative children born to HIV-infected mothers that uses an experimental HIV vaccine.

We tend to assume that because we sincerely believe something, even heartfeltly, that it is, therefore, TRUE. We stake our lives upon it with the sheer force of faith in the gravity of our own subjective truth. This has been a foundation cornerstone to deny any responsibility to believe whatever a person decides he or she wishes not to believe. In America, and elsewhere, the very dignity of being human is inclusive of having the very “right” to so determine such matters for one’s self, without such things as “excessive entanglement” by governmental and pseudo-governmental actions. Thus what we generally hold true even arises from the growing scrap heap that is the body of truths we purportedly hold so sacred in America–the Law itself.

The fallacies of these things, of course, are empirically obvious to virtually anyone without a blinded mind. What was that? Blinded Mind? If you watchvious t the Aberts squirrel at night, it will dart in front of your car, look up and see the light, and the blinding is obvious to see, thereafter. Not just the eyes. The mind itself because the poor creature does the most horrific folly that costs it its life. The driver, assuming he or she is otherwise desirous of not hitting the little creature and destroying it because its small and helpless–like most of us who strive to be worthy of life–the driver calculates that the little creature has it made. Run! The squirrel runs to the other lane, the light remains, and now it is in a panic. It stops, and now that the car has closed within lethal range the poor creature makes the fateful decision–it runs back the qay it came and right underneath the wheels that destroys its life. It is all over it seconds and the driver hurts that it happened but truly is helpless to prevent it in this scenario.

What the creature did with a blinded mind is instructive but foremost of this little creature’s various achievements during its life this one stands plainly for what it ought not to have done and nothing more. The same is true with mankind. Listen carefully.

The fundamental problem with mankind, of course, goes all the way back to Eden–IF and WHEN you truly believe what Jesus Christ meant when he spoke of knowing the truth that sets one free. Adamic–or “original”–sin, of course, led to a change in all mankind and that “change” spread to all men thereafter as a genetic necessity. The end result is mankind dies. The Devil invented a religion in Eden to countermand this reality, declaring to Eve that she would not die and, of course, therefore, calling Jehovah God a liar and instituting rebellion to the rightful sovereignty of God Himself. These things are not “theologically” difficult to understand if one desires to know. This, is so fundamental to the true Christian faith, that its remediation is something I must leave off for now, at this point, for this is not my point. My point rests upon such basic truths, indeed the very cornerstone that is Christ Jesus and the Word, which is the sole and ultimate arbiter of the true Christian Faith. We can discuss with blinded minds another day why these basic truths are clearly true, as Paul wrote by inspiration, saying believing otherwise was inter alia “inexcusable.”

One’s mind can become darkened and in that state one is unable to see that which is the Lamp for walking among the spiritually living, in the land of the living and not the land of the dead. John wrote by inspiration by the holy spirit, declaring: (1 John 2:11)

“. . .But he that hates his brother is in the darkness and is walking in the darkness, and he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.”

Paul by inspiration likewise writes: (2 Corinthians 4:1-6)

“. . .That is why, since we have this ministry according to the mercy that was shown us, we do not give up; but we have renounced the underhanded things of which to be ashamed, not walking with cunning, neither adulterating the word of God, but by making the truth manifest recommending ourselves to every human conscience in the sight of God. If, now, the good news we declare is in fact veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through. For we are preaching, not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as YOUR slaves for Jesus’ sake. For God is he who said: “Let the light shine out of darkness,” and he has shone on our hearts to illuminate [them] with the glorious knowledge of God by the face of Christ.”

 What sets apart those whol ultimately step out of the land of the dead and into the land of the living is HEART–they have to want to, they have to want the truth. They have to start with that point of–I flat out do not know anything about how to truly live, my best help is no help at all; everything goes wrong at some point, in some way. I am simply not enough. I can’t do this. I need help. REAL HELP!  Before this point, it’s the arrogance of asoul that is alienated from God, which is where we start out by inheritance, as alluded to above under the preface re Adamic Sin.

John writes at John 12:39

“. . .The reason why they were not able to believe is that again Isaiah said: “He has blinded their eyes and he has made their hearts hard, that they should not see with their eyes and get the thought with their hearts and turn around and I should heal them.”

Is it so that some people genuinely WANT–desire–in their heart–to believe the lie? The answer, most terribly, is YES. Absolutely. And this is the largest obstacle to the truth and the way and the life and it is to truly have a blinded mind, it is to desire unrighteousness. (2 thessalonians 2:9-12)

“. . .But the lawless one’s presence is according to the operation of Satan with every powerful work and lying signs and portents and with every unrighteous deception for those who are perishing, as a retribution because they did not accept the love of the truth that they might be saved. So that is why God lets an operation of error go to them, that they may get to believing the lie, in order that they all may be judged because they did not believe the truth but took pleasure in unrighteousness.” (Emphasis Added)

The fundamental change required is a movement for the human heart, to really “desire” that relationship with Jehovah, as one would desire to have a relationship with one’s Father, for He is that, for all those called to inherit everlasting life, the total and comnplete reversal–at bare minimum–of what Adam and Eve lost in Eden and that which Satan and its legions fight against with all the evil they can find in Tartarus. We are never, ever left without the way back–for a time, for now, for the glimmer we now have anything we can do anything about. Listen to the Holy Father’s Most Tender and Beautiful Voice, through His priest and Prophet Ezekiel: (Ezekiel 29: 13-14) Notice carefully what one starts with, what motivates him or her to find the Majestic One, to enter back into a relationship with Him that has Him where He rightfully belongs in our own awareness–Supreme, the Highest, Everything. He is Everything people. If one could only see it plainly–and, yet one can, with very, very special eyes that are given. I’ll come back to that presently, but here The Voice plainly, this Tender Father of ours waiting so patiently:

“. . .“‘And YOU will actually seek me and find [me], for YOU will search for me with all YOUR heart. And I will let myself be found by YOU,’ is the utterance of Jehovah. ‘And I will gather YOUR body of captives and collect YOU together out of all the nations and out of all the places to which I have dispersed YOU,’ is the utterance of Jehovah. ‘And I will bring YOU back to the place from which I caused YOU to go into exile.’”

…And I will let myself be found by you~! How~? Why? Because we searched for Him how? WITH ALL OUR HEARTS~! A divided heart that still believes that mankind is even remotely able to direct his or her own step is not that point where one can turn with the heart. One still has things like pride and vanity and other darkness operating, and one has various desires and hopes and likes and dislikes and these, in turn, have even become as basic needs that the human believes MUST be met and he or she acts out to meet them. This goes from eating too much at the table, drinking too much at the bar, even being at a bar, perhaps,–and it goes to the point even of the demonic psychopath who murders and hurts and molests children and the like. He subjectively thinks he “needs” it and so he acts, unaware of the actors all around inciting and leading this on. And because the law hates shifting blame to anyone other than what the law deigns to blame, we turn away to the very cure for all such evils. The law–an effort to coerce from without is no better today than it was in the days of Ancient Israel, and at least their law was ordained and glorious. Ours is a scrapheap of selfish corruptions and a very garden of evil and mischief and injustice is destined as its sole and paramount destiny as part of the Great Day of Jehovah, which is now at the Gates of Humanity, on horses mounted, swords drawn, the battle now immminent among and all around us in a total runaway that defies the imagination of the worst nightmare.

Thus does the archtypal King of Israel declare–and I tell you plainly listen to this very inspired voice as one would listen to Christ Himself: (Proverbs 3:5-6)

“. . .Trust in Jehovah with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding. In all your ways take notice of him, and he himself will make your paths straight.”

That is so very much different than trusting in one’s own understanding, in one’s own subjective beliefs–based upon that which is other than the Inspired Word, which is Jehovah’s Letter to those who become His Children. Doesn’t any of this make sense to the heart yet when john wrote so plainly about the Word and the Word–by intention and by design–saying: (John 1:9-14)

“. . .The true light that gives light to every sort of man was about to come into the world. He was in the world, and the world came into existence through him, but the world did not know him. He came to his own home, but his own people did not take him in. However, as many as did receive him, to them he gave authority to become God’s children, because they were exercising faith in his name; and they were born, not from blood or from a fleshly will or from man’s will, but from God. So the Word became flesh and resided among us, and we had a view of his glory, a glory such as belongs to an only-begotten son from a father; and he was full of undeserved kindness and truth.”

Ah … the Prince our only possible hope, blessed be His own Name along with the Father’s forever. He gave authority to become God’s children …and, in turn, that is so fundamentally linked with the heart.

So the blinded mind is acting to throw one back underneath the wheels of the oncoming freight train, and out these souls run. What is blinding them? Why can’t they see it for what it REALLY IS and not what they have willed it to be or heard it to be from other blinded minds and their insufferable clergy?

 John tells us plainly by inspiration: (1 John 2:15-17)

“. . .Do not be loving either the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him; because everything in the world—the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life—does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world. Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever.”

Even in trying to “blind” the Glorious Christ, Satan used it, for the Word explains it plainly, saying — (Matthew 4:8-10)

“Again the Devil took him along to an unusually high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, and he said to him: “All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me.” . . .”

Jesus inherits all those things ultimately by the very Decree of Jehovah God Almighty, the Sovereign Lord of All. Just not THEN and not THAT WAY, but one can see why the evil one used that tactic. The eyes. Desire of the Eyes. Remember Eve–she “saw” the fruit and decided on her own–believing the lie–that what was enjoined–therefore out of bounds as an issue of obedience and sovereignty–was free for her to revoke and amend unto herself and that her decision as to what is “good” or “evil” was controlling, for she, after all, had deigned to “become like God” Himself. No need for Him, she reasoned in her blackened mind and heart. I am everything! A goddess! (See inter alia Genesis Chapter 3)

Such things do not originate with the Father of the Celestial Lights. His children know this deeply within them and they do not run in front of the oncoming train. Blinded Minds, always in those who do not TRULY believe. Believers listen, which is to say–they obey. And around this there is no short cut. If we truly saw it for all it was we would not want it any other way for so great is our King, so Grand is our Father, the authority to become His child–and I will not extrapolate that any further here or today, for that is in and of itself a most heartening story of Love and Mercy and Tenderness and Power–is everything. It is truly all for all, everything for everything. Jesus Christ gave everything even unto death, holding nothing back from the Majestic Father of all Light and Love, Jehovah. Jehovah, by giving Jesus Christ his very being from Himself–begotten–the only such one ever, Jehovah Himself held nothing back from the Son, that was everything, or anything. It may not be said as artfully as it could be said but this is the meaning I speak of when I am saying–all for all–and thus one inherits, in this dynamic, incorruption from corruption and immortality from mortality. Ah .. it is to partake of the Divine Nature and no man or woman can be heard to say they have ever or would ever “DESERVE” to do this. Sheer gift~! It is implicit in the scripture that teaches us the Joy of the Greatest Gift of all~ given to Christ and, ultimately ~ (John 5:26)

“. . .For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted also to the Son to have life in himself.”

Only some will. Let us, then, attain to the basic truth that those who can see in the darkness that is this world dominated and ruled by Satan are those who obey the Word. it has always been understood by those who believe that only those who ultimately obey the Word–even the Christ–have life, all others? Abert’s in the light. Squish. They believed with all they had that they could do it their way, on their own, with their very best understanding.

The world needs a comprehensive, ambitious and binding agreement.
The job must be done now, not put off for the future.
The task must be accomplished in Copenhagen.

The European Union is taking it straight against the danger that no actual agreement would be reached and signed at the United Nation Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, next month.

“The meeting has confirmed that we want to achieve a binding agreement in Copenhagen that includes all the key elements and clear commitments for all the countries of the world. As a result of the Copenhagen meeting and with a clear timetable in place, the agreement will be turned into a legally binding document.” said Andreas Carlgren, President-in-Office of the Environmental Council after a meeting – the last on the way to Copenhagen – with forty ministers responsible for climate and environment.

“The Chinese and US delegations have confirmed the direction agreed by Presidents Obama and Hu Jintao. This must be seen as progress, even though concrete answers have not yet been received,” said Mr Carlgren.

There is no more time to waste waiting: figures and commitments must be put on the table, and the EU is pressing for the countries that have not yet presented their commitments to do so as soon as possible. The commitments currently on the table are insufficient, and do not together reach a level that is sufficient to achieve the 2 º Celsius goal. “I have urged all the industrialised countries at the meeting to present ambitious commitments. The advanced developing economies must likewise also present sufficient measures to be included in an international agreement.”

Denmark’s Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen participated in Tuesday’s meeting and set his sights high. The ambition is a comprehensive agreement, which means immediate implementation and clear guidelines and timeframes to establish the legally binding regulatory framework. At the meeting, Brazil and South Korea presented their recently approved national decisions on emissions reductions.

Consultations at political level are now being intensified. Mr Carlgren has convened a special meeting of the EU environment ministers to be held on 23 November in Brussels. A number of informal meetings and consultations will take place in the remaining weeks before the beginning of the Copenhagen Conference.

Now, and in December, work must concentrate on the following:

* Other industrialised countries must follow the EU. The industrialised countries must collectively announce reduced emissions that will achieve the 2-degree target, with clear and measurable targets for 2020 and with a view to 2050.

* The United States must be onboard. The United States is currently accountable for one fifth of total global emissions. The EU is accountable for 10 per cent. If the United States does not join, this may start a domino effect with other countries falling away.

* China and other growing developing economies must commit to reducing emissions. China and other growing developing economies must announce measures to prevent emissions rising more than had been the case if no measures were taken.

* Money on the table for swift measures for developing countries. The EU has said that EUR 5–7 billion per year is needed globally during the first three years after Copenhagen. Others must stake their bids. The EU is prepared to take its responsibility. In the long term, EUR 100 billion per year will be needed from 2020.

* The rainforest must be saved and this will reduce emissions. The EU has stated that rainforest devastation must be halved by 2020 and must have stopped by 2030. The EU is prepared to contribute both direct support and support through emissions trading at a later stage in order to stop rainforest devastation, support reforestation and create sustainable forestry. Deforestation is responsible for one fifth of global emissions.

Operaţiunea era însă pusă la cale de autorităţile americane, care l-au condamnat pe Kassar la începutul acestui an la 30 de ani de închisoare.

Monzer al Kassar a cumpărat arme de la Romarm pentru a le vinde Forţelor Armate Revoluţionare din Columbia (FARC), considerat drept grup terorist de către Columbia, SUA, Canada şi UE. Grupul este cunoscut drept cel mai mare furnizor de cocaină din lume.

Traficantul a fost găsit vinovat de sistemul de justiţie din SUA, în februarie 2009, după o lungă operaţiune de cumpărare supravegheată, controlată de agenţi sub acoperire ai Administraţiei SUA de control al drogurilor (DEA), derulată inclusiv pe teritoriul României, începând din 2007.
Autorităţile americane au găsit, chiar asupra lui Kassar, o copie după un contract de livrare armament încheiat între Romarm şi o firmă din Anglia – Trawl Services Limited, firmă pe care Kassar o folosea ca intermediar în relaţiile cu românii.

Oficialii companiei Romarm nu au răspuns până acum solicitărilor Capital privind un punct de vedere. Nici Aurel Cazacu, fostul secretar de stat care se ocupă de industria de apărare nu a spus mai multe, pe motiv că, în perioada în care s-ar fi făcut tranzacţiile, Romarm ar fi fost în sobordinea AVAS.
Nici AVAS nu a formulat un punct de vedere, instituţia menţionând că toate societăţile din industria de apărare care au fost în trecut în subordinea ei s-au întors, cu dosare cu tot, la Economie. De asemenea, Agenţia Naţională de Control a Exporturilor (ANCEX), care avizează toate exporturile de armament ale României, nu a formulat încă un răspuns.

Manfred Nowak, the United Nations human rights investigator is throwing tantrum in the media following his ejection from Zimbabwe. Nowak alleges that the Mugabe government has intentionally barred him from entering the country because ‘he knows’ he will find evidence of human rights abuses committed by Mugabe’s party, ZANU-PF. Nowak states, using undiplomatic language and improper protocols, “I can only interpret that, at this point of time, they didn’t want any kind of independent fact-finding on torture and other forms of ill-treatment,” referring to ZANU-PF. He goes on to add, “This is totally unacceptable conduct of a government – of a member state of the United Nations – vis-a-vis a United Nations independent expert who is mandated by the human rights council to carry out fact-finding missions on the invitation of the government.” Notice the last part, “on the invitation of the government.” Also notice Mr. Nowak is exaggerating his importance by implying that he is ‘mandated’ by the U.N.’s  human rights council, an act that is essentially imposed on a U.N. member state by the council through the Security Council. In fact, the government of Zimbabwe invited him voluntarily with no mandate to carry out, other than to investigate rights abuses in the country and report it to the human rights council – an entity that once included Iran, Cuba, China, Saudi Arabia, etc etc.

While he was in South Africa, the government of Zimbabwe asked Nowak not to come now because the government officials he needs to talk to as part of his investigation are busy with SADC mediations on the unity government between Robert Mugabe’s ZANU-PF party and Morgan Tsvangirai’s MDC party that is currently in jeopardy of dissolving. Thus, the government of Zimbabwe rescinded its invitation and asked Nowak to reschedule it for another time before he arrived in the country. But Mr. Nowak, who was only coming to the country on the invitation of the host government, took matters into his own hands and showed up at Harare International Airport with a stupid look on his face and insisting that he was invited by the prime minister, Morgan Tsvangirai – who I should add has ceased to participate in the unity government and has no authority on foreign relations. Accordingly, the immigration authority refused him entry into the country and put him back on the returning flight to South Africa. Case closed, right?

Not if you are Manfred Nowak, a supposed neutral diplomat working for the United Nations. He has spent the last couple of days bitching to every media outlet that is willing to listen to his petulant and undiplomatic behavior. Furthermore, Nowak’s self-righteous attitudes and media blitz seems to reflect a disdain for the United Nation’s own Charter that is built on the foundation of respect for member states’ sovereignty and territorial integrity. If I invite someone to my house party and I change my mind and tell them not to come, I expect my wishes to be followed. If they choose to ignore my request and show up at my door anyway? Of course I would shut the door on their face. Too bad the mindless western media will not put this simple diplomatic issue into context. Granted, there a lot of human rights abuses that have to be investigated in Zimbabwe (it is long overdue) and more importantly, MDC-Tsvangirai supporters are just as culpable in these abuses as ZANU-PF supporters are – a fact the western media has been sweeping under the rug for far too long. Because of Nowak’s self-righteousness and stupidity, many victims of state and political parties’ abuse will not have their stories heard.

The moral of the story though? Don’t invite Manfred Nowak to your house!

Browsing MSNBC between classes today, I saw an interesting article about a man who was fired for wearing a “One Nation Under God” button on his apron at work, and refusing to remove it. Company policy, at The Home Depot, only approves of company approved pins and buttons worn on the smock. It wasn’t that the company was taking a stance against religious buttons and positions, rather that they just didn’t allow it. In the article, the fired-man, complains of only trying to support his country.

The reason I’m writing this is because of this quote: “I’ve worn it for well over a year and I support my country and God.”

Why is it that America parades under a veneer of being religiously tolerant, but constantly pairs itself with one dominant religious belief? To be a patriotic american, the message is clear, you have to support your Country and God. Mainly the christian God. If you are a muslim, a polytheist, or an atheist it is presumed by many people that you have some sort of defect. You are acting against the norm of a christian nation. A nation that freely lets its media show degraded women on the television, but every Easter the churches are over crowded. I have a dichotomous disdain: 1) That for a christian nation we behave like heretics 2) There are many other religious beliefs and people living in america.

The problem with the person getting fired in the article is more than a employer versus employee religious issue. It is a problem with our country. We see patri0tism as showing our belonging to God, instead of seeing patriotism as the fact we are a melting pot of different people and cultures. We see patriotism as being One Nation Under God. Instead of patriotism being One Nation of United People Together.

Common among the young, consider wearing a batik was only at official functions only. The most common is when the invitation to attend a wedding reception. Many young people buy batik only for the preparation of such events. But when any of them who wear batik on a weekday, there were some who remarked, “would be invited?”

Perceptions of batik wear only on formal event did not have to happen again. Our nation has always wear batik. Remember when we were in school, had to wear batik uniforms on certain days? Remember when civil servants to wear batik KORPRI on a specific day? Yes, actually it is the government’s invitation for us proud to wear batik. However, because the invitation is top down, there are people who feel forced to wear. Even the few people who are not anti-wear batik, because not suggested as a submissive. People like this are usually more proud to be regarded as contrarian current (mainstream).

We thank the United Nations inaugurated the cultural heritage of Batik Indonesia. We are also proud that the government should make this day, October 2, 2009 as the Day of National Batik. Hopefully, with two important momentum that our nation – especially the younger generation – no longer ashamed to using batik.

Thank you also to be our brothers of allied, Malaysia. If they do not claim the Archipelago culture – one of them batik – as their culture, maybe the spirit of our culture will not be rising. Regardless of any intentions, I personally thank you cluster in Malaysia.

We live our own. Are we proud of batik? Are we just wear batik on formal event? Hopefully, starting today, more and more people are proud of our diverse archipelago batik. Yes! Batik not only from Java. Batik does not belong to the Javanese people only. Many other areas in Indonesia, which also has a unique batik. Batik is the creation of local culture indonesia, even now worldwide. see Nelson Mandela, South African leader, who always wore a batik wherever and whenever he went.

How proud I was of Indonesia!

BILDERBERGERS WANT GLOBAL CURRENCY NOW

Bilderberg has had front-men call anew for creating a global currency and establishing major European Union-style regions for the administrative convenience of a planned world government. Both steps were taken in September, one by the new Bilderberg-crowned prime minister of Japan and one separately by the UN.

The Geneva-based UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) called for a global currency in a report made public on September 7. UN countries should agree on a global reserve bank to issue the currency and to monitor the national exchange rates of its members, UNCTAD said. The dollar’s role in international trade should be reduced to protect emerging markets from the “confidence game” of financial speculation, it said.

Heiner Flassbeck, a former German deputy finance minister, is co-author of the report calling for a global currency. He worked with then U.S. Deputy Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers in 1997-98 to contain the Asian financial crisis. Summers is a longtime Bilderberg luminary and has been photographed by AFP at annual secret Bilderberg confabs.

Eliminating national currencies has long been a goal of Bilderberg as a crucial step in its plan to establish a world government. A nation’s currency is a symbol of sovereignty, so Bilderberg wants to divide the world into three giant regions, each with its regional currency, for the administrative convenience of its world government bureaucrats.

Bilderberg used its immense power to get Yukio Hatoyama’s Democratic Party of Japan elected over the Liberal Democratic Party, which had led the nation for 64 years. Hatoyama obediently called for an Asian economic bloc, similar to the EU, complete with a regional currency.

Bilderberg’s goal is an “Asian-Pacific Union” and an “American Union,” both modeled after the EU. The EU has its common currency, the euro, and a European Parliament that can impose laws on the once sovereign nations of Europe and a European Court superior to the highest courts of member states. The EU is effectively a single super-state.

The “American Union” is to evolve from the North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA, as it extends throughout the Western Hemisphere. The common currency is to be the “amero.” Fortunately, Bilderberg’s efforts in the Western Hemisphere have been stalled but the campaign continues using “free trade” propaganda.

Ultimately, the UN is to function as a world government with the General Assembly serving as a world parliament. Bilderberg, a secret organization of international financiers and political leaders, will serve as a world shadow government that dictates to the UN.

A United Nations report has concluded that both the Israeli military and armed Palestinian groups committed actions amounting to war crimes during Israel’s three-week war in Gaza.

This report also includes violations in the West Bank as well.

The UN Mission repeatedly sought to obtain the cooperation of the Government of Israel. After numerous attempts had failed, the Mission sought and obtained the assistance of the Government of Egypt to enable it to enter the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing.

Due to the lack of cooperation from the Israeli Government, the Mission was unable to meet members of the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank. They had to travel to Geneva.

Which in itself says a lot about Israel.

This I found very disappointing.

The Mission received allegations that depleted and nondepleted uranium were used by Israeli forces in Gaza. These allegations were not further investigated by the Mission.

The report also covers a great deal of history.

Israel is a party to the four Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, but has not ratified their Additional Protocols I or II on the protection of victims of armed conflict. In addition, Israel is a party to the Convention on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons Which May be Deemed to be Excessively Injurious or to Have Indiscriminate Effects, as well as its Protocol I on Non-Detectable Fragments, both of 10 October 1980.

Under the rules of State responsibility, Israel is responsible for any
violations of international law attributable to it. Specifically, under the Fourth Geneva Convention, article 29, “the Party to a conflict in whose hands protected persons may be, isresponsible for the treatment accorded to  them by its agents, irrespective of any individual responsibility which may be incurred.”

Article 147 of the Fourth Geneva Convention defines
grave breaches as: … those involving any of the following acts, if committed against persons or property protected by the present Convention: wilful killing, torture or inhuman treatment, including biological experiments, wilfully causing great suffering or

serious injury to body or health, unlawful deportation or transfer or unlawful confinement of a protected person, compelling a protected person to serve in the forces of a hostile Power, or wilfully depriving a protected person of the rights of fair and regular trial prescribed in the present Convention, taking of hostages and extensive destruction and appropriation of property, not justified by military necessity and carried out unlawfully and wantonly. (Page 89-90)

Israeli /Air strikes started December 27 until  January 3 2009. (page 102)  In total, between 2,300 and 3,000 sorties were flown.

The report concludes the Police force officers who were killed many within the first five minutes of attacks on Gaza were in fact  Civilians.. This was something Israelis has argued about.

Many of the allegations Israel made against Palestinian fighters were not true.

The report also talks about crimes that were commited by Palestinian fighters.

It may be a long read but definitely worth reading.

Some parts are a bit repetitious,  but on a whole a rather  accurate report. I found they came to the same conclusions as I did while following the conflict.

Up to page 178  anyway, which is where I am at this point. I may add more comments as I read the rest of the report. I thought I would go ahead and publish it so others can read it as well.
