He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers, and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline has come to investigate.

As he pieces together the gory puzzle, he hears of an ancient curse that turns the afflicted into werewolves when the moon is full. Now, if he has any chance at ending the slaughter and protecting the woman he has grown to love, Talbot must destroy the vicious creature in the woods surrounding Blackmoor. But as he hunts for the nightmarish beast, a simple man with a tortured past will uncover a primal side to himself…one he never imagined existed.

“Zombies” publisher Quirk Books is releasing “Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters,” which adds giant lobsters and rampaging octopi to Austen’s love story. Out this week from another publisher is “Mr. Darcy, Vampyre,” a supernatural sequel which portrays the aloof hero of “Pride and Prejudice” as an undead bloodsucker. Later this year comes “Jane Bites Back,” in which the author herself develops a taste for blood.

‘2001 Maniacs: Beverly Hellbillys’ Wraps Production
If you haven’t watched 2001 Maniacs get thee to a video store. The sequel to the Robert Englund hackfest finished production this week. And they released the one-sheet for the movie.

Whatcha thinking?

The posters usually makes me happy. I have to say I like the nurse better this year than last year’s. Remember how absolutely boring they were? This year they found the missing extra something. Could be the haute couture dress the chick is wearing in the second poster? I think yes…enjoy!

“She has a kid now,” Cox said. “She’s married to Dewey.” I guess I need to rewatch the third film because according Sci Fi Wire, Scream 3 ended with Deputy Dewey proposing to local newswoman-turned-true-crime guru Gale. The also are report that Cox and Williamson both beginning new shows this season, Williamson expects to turn in a final draft for Scream 4 during hiatus and make final deals with cast and directors after that.

Neve Campbell and Jamie Kennedy are too busy in obscurity to reprise their roles. Seriously, they both apparently turned the film down.

And another thing, who sits around and wonders what Michael Myers is doing in his spare time? Perhaps he should get a Twitter account so we can know…WTF?

Comic Con was amazing – Warner Bros knows how to handle an event like that. They went to great lengths to make sure we were able to enjoy it in style. I must say, Drew, Sam and I have never been treated so well. It is a great comfort to know that they are taking Elm Street so seriously. I have faith in their marketing department, which brings me to the Comic Con trailer…

I am all too aware of the anger generated by their decision not to release the trailer on the Internet. As many of you know, I went to them and asked for it to be released, but frankly, I understand why they won’t. Our film comes out on April 30th. That is 9 months away – a really, really long time in the movie business. If they released the trailer now, it would surely be forgotten a few months from now, and then what? This amazing teaser would have not had the impact that it should. Believe me, as a fan, I share your frustration in not being able to see it, but it isn’t going anywhere. I am sure that each of you will see it, just closer to release. So don’t get bent out of shape because you have to wait, besides, many of you would have wished that you waited ’til later because after you see the teaser you will want to see the film so badly it will be brutal to wait the 9 months.

Now, if you’ve read my blog before you know I don’t really like these boys very much, but I think it is a brilliant move. Think about the frenzy they will have worked up by next year. But, I hope they realize this movie better bring it’s A-game or Freddy help ‘em.

But, I am getting excited nonetheless. If it truly horrible, I can have the joy of I told you so. The teaser is not ready yet, I guess because Bradley twitted it won’t be on the net. Oh, well…you can visit the official website live now.

I don’t know about this, I really liked this franchise as a trilogy, because at the time it was cleaver, but I’m not sold.
