In other news, the Bank of Korea unexpectedly cut its interest rates overnight, while the Bank of England left its monetary policy unchanged. The European Central Bank reported Thursday the Euro zone economy remains weak and could get weaker.

The U.S. dollar index is slightly higher Thursday morning, which is also a bit negative for gold and silver prices. U.S. economic data due for release Thursday includes the weekly jobless claims report and ICSC chain store sale trends.

Technically, June gold futures bears have the overall technical advantage. Gold bulls have been resilient but have work to do in the near term to suggest prices can sustain an uptrend on the daily chart. Gold prices are in a seven-month-old downtrend on the daily bar chart.

Gold has Double Topped at the 61.8 Med term Fib and therefore we have every reason to believe we are going to trade a lot lower in this market. We are overbought on the daily charts and therefore we look to sell into any strength evident with 1486/87 seen as the topside and we would then keep any stops above 1493 as we do not expect Gold to trade this high. Now as we have a target of 1424 that is not to say that the market will go there in one move, even though we can see this sort of decline….There is more of a chance that we will hover in the 1445 area to unwind any short term oversold conditions.

Hello everyone,

I know it has been a while since I’ve posted, but if you follow either of my other blogs, then you know that I’ve had to deal with some issues within my family. The dust is still settling, but I’m back…

I haven’t had a chance to write in a while. I wanted to release my first full length book by the end of March, but that fell through. It was like someone came, picked my family up and dropped us off  in the Twilight Zone. My husband literally said to me “I think you’re in the twilight zone…” But praise the Lord, we’ve made it out of that for the most part.

Now that things are getting back on an even keel, I’ve returned to my first literary love. The story I’m working on is good. I’m in the editing phase of it, and adding some as I go along. I can’t wait to finish it. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to release anything, but I plan on breaking that streak fairly soon. Other than that, I am trying to find a place to schedule in regular blogging instead of grasping for a free moment to do it. I plan on blogging more regularly again, very soon. Since I will be completing my latest story, I will check in, even if it’s only a quick post.

I have also toyed with the idea of reading my favorite horror story and posting it here chapter by chapter every Friday, let me know what you all think!

Sorry it’s a tad bit late but here it is. I didn’t quite make Onederland this week but that’s ok because I made my 50 lb mark which is just enough reason to celebrate. Woohoo! I missed Motivational Monday and my Two Month surgaversary this week since I didn’t get home until really late that day. So, I’m going to do a Two Month post here too – check out my video below for all the dets!

Highest Weight (Jan 3, 2013): 251.6 lbs

Day of Surgery (Mar 6, 2013): 231.5 lbs

Nine Weeks Post-Op (May 07, 2013): 201.4 lbs

Total loss of: 50.2 lbs

I made this photo below from a picture on New Years 2013 and a picture from this weekend at the toy store. For those of you who are my friends on Facebook, you may have already seen it. But here is the comparison from where I started and where I’m at so far. I still have another 50-70 lbs to lose but I am happy with the progress so far. By the way, I totally love Cookie Monster… I think we were twins separated at birth. Haha.

Weight loss is not an easy journey. No matter how you do it, it’s a struggle every day. Along the way you don’t really feel the change… but looking back, you can see it.
Down 50lbs since January but still have a long way to go to reach my goal. Chipping away a little at a time.
