Thanks to all those who have commented. I have since been in touch with the project managers of this initiative to gain more information as I couldn’t quite believe what they were saying! What I’ve had back to date is the following:

“You will be OK with downloading Document and Photos, but please ensure you save to My documents or a shared drive on the server. At the moment you receive notifications that new versions of the SW you mention (these were java, quicktime, adobe, etc to name a few) is available for download. This will not be possible once Admin Rights are removed. In most cases you will still be able to read or run applications that use Adobe etc. using an older versions. In a few instances this may not be possible and if this happens you should raise a call so that this can be resolved on an individual basis. The longer term approach will be to deploy updates centrally on a regular basis to ensure everyone is running the latest versions…..If you continue to upgrade common software when prompted you should be up to date when the Admin Rights are removed and not experience any immediate issues.”

So it would seem that most of the downloading is secure provided I have already got the software downloaded when the changes come into place. I’m not sure though how it is going to affect other areas which require some software to be downloaded to the computer. My immediate concerns seem to have been laid to rest but knowing how the LA operate I still don’t expect it to be an easy journey!!

KETIDAKPASTIAN PERJALANAN

Malam itu adalah hari Selasa, tanggal 7 Juli 2009. Waktu menunjukkan pukul 23.20. Dengan bergegas kami berjalan menyusuri jalan setapak menurun menuju ke pantai di Rochera. Dibutuhkan waktu selama 30 menit untuk menyusuri jalan setapak itu agar kami sampai di pantai di Rochera. Terang bulan amat benderang yang membuat malam itu seperti sore hari. Aku masih mengantuk. Beberapa menit lalu, tidur lelapku diputus oleh ketukan pintu kamar. Seseorang membangunkanku dan mengajakku segera berangkat. Untungnya, segala perbekalan dan tas sudah kusiapkan sejak siang harinya sehingga aku sudah siap berangkat kapan pun.

Malam itu kami berangkat meninggalkan kampung Koukousurisau yang kutinggali pada hari-hari terakhir ini selama hampir dua minggu. Kami menuju port di Afio. Di Afio, kami akan menunggu kapal yang baru datang dari Honiara. Perahu terbuat dari aluminium sudah menunggu kami di pantai di Rochera. Perahu bermesin 25 HP (Horse Power) itu siap mengantar kami ke Afio.

Perjalanan dengan perahu dari Rochera ke Afio membutuhkan waktu sekitar 1,5 jam. Laut cukup tenang malam itu sehingga perjalanan lancar. Kecipak air terdengar memecah di antara aluminium boat dan beberapa kali menciprat naik, yang membuat kami beberapa kali mesti mengusap wajah yang basah oleh air laut. Sinar terang bulan amat membantu driver untuk menghindari karang-karang berbahaya yang bisa mengganggu perjalanan kami. Kami berenam orang di perahu itu, duduk diam-diam sambil berharap agar malam itu kami mendapatkan tempat di kapal, sebab diduga kapal akan sarat oleh penumpang. Pergelangan tangan dan sendi-sendiku tiba-tiba agak mengejang. Perutku melilit. Ini adalah tanda-tanda kegugupan. Ya, aku gugup. Ada begitu banyak kepastian dalam perjalananku kali ini. Perjalanan malam itu pun berbekal ketidakpastian ke mana kapal akan membawa kami dan berapa hari kami akan berada di atas kapal sebelum kami betul-betul bisa balik lagi ke Honiara. Belum lagi kekhawatiran akan perbekalan yang bisa habis setiap saat karena ketidakpastian lamanya perjalanan laut. Bahkan, ketika kapal siap berangkat pun, ada kemungkinan perjalanan ditunda pada detik-detik terakhir bila ada tanda-tanda bahaya ombak dan badai laut. Ada begitu banyak ketidakpastian dalam perjalanan kami yang membuatku gugup. Kami bisa terkatung-katung dalam perjalanan setiap saat.

DARI AFIO KE SOUTH MARAMASIKE

Begitu sampai di Afio, kami segera merapat ke pantai dan mendarat. Kami segera menemukan pasar yang kosong malam itu sebagai tempat darurat untuk meneruskan istirahat sampai kapal tiba dari Honiara. Di tengah kerumunan nyamuk jumlahnya puluhan, serta deru angin laut yang kadang-kadang cukup kencang, dan lantai pasar yang cukup dingin, aku segera meneruskan tidurku sebisa mungkin agar aku punya cukup waktu untuk istirahat. Di kapal, aku jelas tidak bisa beristirahat.

Pada pk. 04.30 tanggal 8 Juli 2009, hari Rabu dini hari, kami boarding kapal di Afio setelah selama hampir dua setengah jam kami bersabar menunggu kapal unloading di dermaga. Selama hari itu, kami akan mengikuti kapal ke arah selatan pulau Maramasike (Small Malaita) untuk unloading di setiap port. Dari port ke port di beberapa kampung besar ke arah selatan pulau Maramasike, kapal melakukan unloading. Proses unloading untuk setiap port memakan waktu cukup lama, bisa sampai tiga jam. Ada begitu banyak penumpang dan material bisnis (market) yang diturunkan. Selain itu, di seluruh port di wilayah selatan pulau Maramasike tidak ada dermaga sehingga proses unloading dilakukan di tengah laut dengan bantuan satu motor boat. Sementara kapal berhenti di laut, motor boat bisa bolak-balik 4 – 5 kali dari kapal ke pantai untuk membawa penumpang dan material.

Kampung terakhir untuk unloading adalah Malo’u. Waktu itu jam sudah menunjukkan pk. 18.30. Jadi, sehari penuh kapal mengitari pulau Maramasike dan melakukan unloading. Kapal baru bisa menaruh jangkar dan berlabuh di kampung Fanalei sekitar pk. 19.00. Malam itu kami tidur di kapal untuk menunggu perjalanan esok harinya.

Kali ini kegugupanku mulai mereda setelah ada kepastian bahwa kami boleh tidur di kapal. Semula ada berita bahwa para penumpang harus turun dari kapal dan tidur di pulau Fanalei. Hal itu jelas tidak mungkin bagiku. Aku tidak mengenal siapa pun di Fanalei. Lagipula jelas tidak ada tempat penginapan di situ, sebab Fanalei adalah sebuah pulau karang kecil. Aku semakin merasa tenang ketika mengetahui bahwa kebanyakan penumpang yang malam itu mengikuti kapal adalah orang-orang kampung Kouousurisau yang sudah mengenalku. Bahkan di luar dugaanku, seorang gadis menawariku sepiring nasi, ketela, dan satu paha ayam. Rasanya tawaran ini begitu istimewa bagiku di tempat asing seperti ini. Oh, terima kasih, ucapku padanya.

Sore itu, aku melakukan doa Ibadat Sore hari Rabu pekan ke dua di lambung kapal, sambil menikmati pemandangan matahari tenggelam. Cahayanya yang temaram kuning kecoklatan memantul dan semakin menghilang di permukaan air lagoon yang tenang. Ketika semua kuterima dengan gembira, aku merasakan kedamaian dan ketenangan yang mulai menyelimuti diriku.

SEHARI UPLOADING

Kamis, tanggal 9 Juli 2009, di tengah-tengah hujan badai, kapal mulai menarik tali dan jangkar dari pulau karang Fanalei pada pk. 04.30. Sejak pk. 03.00 aku sudah bangun dan bergegas berdoa rosario memohon keselamatan perjalanan hari itu lewat doa-doa dari Bunda Maria dari Sorga. Para penumpang yang semula tertidur lelap di lantai kapal terkejut dan bangun dalam kegugupan. Kami semua bergerak ke bagian tengah kapal agar tidak basah terkena hujan.

Pagi itu, kapal memulai proses uploading dari kampung Malo’u. Kampung terakhir yang kami datangi kemarin menjadi kampung pertama untuk uploading. Proses uploading cukup berat karena cuaca yang tidak menentu. Langit amat hitam oleh mendung tebal. Hujan juga turun tidak menentu, kadang amat deras, kadang agak mereda. Situasi itu masih diperburuk oleh mesin motor boat yang tidak bekerja dengan baik sehingga untuk proses uploading dari pantai ke kapal, crew kapal menggunakan dayung (di semua port di Maramasike tidak ada dermaga yang membuat kapal bisa merapat ke pantai).

Beberapa penumpang terdengar menggerutu oleh cara kerja crew kapal pada hari itu. Nampaknya hampir semua penumpang tahu, bahwa malam sebelumnya mereka mabuk-mabukan di lantai dasar kapal. Akibatnya, proses uploading hari itu berjalan amat lamban karena para pekerja itu kelihatan mengantuk dan kelelahan akibat kurang istirahat. Di salah satu port, proses uploading bahkan bisa memakan waktu sampai 5 jam. Ini berarti hampir setengah hari kami terkatung-katung di tengah laut hanya untuk menunggu kapal mengisi muatan. Beberapa penumpang bahkan mengangkat sendiri karung-karung berisi beras atau kelapa dari motor boat ke atas kapal. Beberapa penumpang di kapal membantu mengangkat karung-karung itu sambil meneriaki crew kapal agar bekerja lebih aktif dan giat agar kapal bisa segera berangkat.

Pada pk. 19.00, kapal tiba kembali di pelabuhan Afio; pelabuhan yang kami singgahi untuk pertama kalinya pada dini hari sebelumnya. Di Afio, kapal tidak merapat ke pantai karena sudah terlalu sarat oleh penumpang. Padahal, di dermaga, ada begitu banyak orang yang menunggu untuk diangkut. Beberapa orang terdengar marah dan berteriak-teriak sehingga situasi amat krusial dan riskan akan keributan atau kekacauan antar penumpang. Untungnya, tidak ada kejadian yang tidak diharapkan.

PERJALANAN KE HONIARA

Kapal meninggalkan pelabuhan Afio pada pk. 19.50 pada hari Kamis, 9 Juli 2009. Setelah sekitar 15 menit kapal bergerak, kapal berhenti. Kapal berhenti dan terapung-apung di atas air sekitar 2 jam. Didapat berita bahwa cuaca, ombak, dan angin di tengah-tengah laut tidak menentu. Kapten kapal menunggu kepastian keselamatan perjalanan. Bahkan, amat mungkin kapal bergerak balik lagi ke Afio apabila memang perjalanan laut diperkirakan terlalu berbahaya.

Berita ini memang tidak mengenakkan semua penumpang, termasuk diriku. Aku sudah membayangkan situasi terburuk perjalanan laut yang penuh ombak, basah, dan tidak nyaman sama sekali. Tapi aku kali ini jauh lebih siap untuk menghadapi dan menerima situasi semacam itu. Aku bahkan sudah menemukan posisi duduk yang bisa “menyelamatkanku” dari mabuk laut.

Setelah selama dua jam kapal terapung-apung tidak menentu, kapten kapal memutuskan untuk berangkat ke Honiara. Nampaknya ada kepastian keselamatan perjalanan laut. Dengan beberapa doa Bapa Kami dan Salam Maria, aku mengikuti gerak kapal dalam riak-riak ombak tanpa henti. Di luar dugaan semua orang, laut malam itu sangat tenang. Terang bulan bersinar amat terang, memantulkan sinarnya ke permukaan air laut yang tenang. Kapal yang sarat penumpang itu bergerak pelan menuju Honiara. Di sepanjang perjalanan, aku tak henti-hentinya mensyukuri perjalanan ini. Doa-doaku yang tak kunjung putus mengiringi perjalanan dan rasa syukur ini.

Pada pk. 06.10 hari Jumat tanggal 10 Juli 2009, kapal merapat di pelabuhan Honiara. Honiara masih berselimutkan pagi hari yang sejuk dan cerah. Hatiku meluap oleh rasa syukur akan anugerah Yang Ilahi oleh pengalaman perjalanan ini. Ketika ketidakpastian berakhir dengan keselamatan, kegembiraan dan rasa syukur ini terasa meluap dan berlimpah dari dalam hati, bahwa Yang Ilahi mendengarkan doa-doa dan menjaga keselamatan perjalanan.

Syukur padaMu dan pujian bagiMu, Yang ada di Sorga, di langit, dan di bumi.

Pujian dan kemuliaan bagiMu.

As soon as I saw this, I felt like I needed to put it on ‘Feeling Mnml’ immediately! I enjoy various deejays for various reasons, from minimal to trance and everything in between, to sum it up I appreciate good music. Next thing to a deejay who plays great music (and respects others) is his ability to get the crowd into it and bring the energy. That is why Carl Cox is high up on my list. He rocked Movement 09 this past May, probably my favorite, or second favorite set I’ve heard (can’t decide) I am so psyched to see him this Friday at Windsor’s ‘Boom Boom Room’! Since we have prepared all the scripts into one single zip file is pretty easy to do. I’m going to use the file manager inside Cpanel to upload the file. Simply:

1. Login to Cpanel and scroll down to the File Manager.
2. Click on the File Manager icon to start the program.
3. Navigate to the “public_html” or “www” folder
4. Click the upload button and select the “wp.zip” file from your PC

The upload should start automatically upon selecting the file from your computer.

Upon completion, click the link to return to the file browser view. Next, tick the box next to the file “wp.zip” and click the “extract” button at the top of the page. This will create a folder called “wp” in the current directory with the associated URL of http://www.sinsearch.co.uk/wp/

Before we can install the software we need to set some file permissions so the installer can set up some files. This will be in tomorrows exciting instalment. (I was being sarcastic!)

I was fed up with uploading the attachments using FTP as it was too slow (and vulnerable too), maintaining credentials to connect to server, managing permissions to specific folder etc. and all that nasty stuff.  Clients have also complained on this. After head-scratching and wall banging efforts, I planned to search for an alternative for FTP to upload the files. Found this way… Its pretty cool and uploading files much faster compared to FTP approach. Just wanted to share it with you, hoping that it may help someone who are in need!

This is a small tutorial which will teach you how to upload files using a C# client application to a server running PHP.

We’ll call the PHP Script “upload.php”, this is what it should contain:

In the C# part, replace “your_server.com” with your server, also notice that this is a test code, it will upload c:\\test.jpg, because I am testing with an image file, I am using the header “binary/octet-stream” as it works with all files (image, txt, etc)…

You know what a website is. But what do you need to get one? Here’s a brief explanation (not steps) to getting a website. There are so many wonderful resources listed below that can walk you through the steps and help you troubleshoot.

• Domain Name: your unique website name. This is a name, all lowercase with no spaces. When you choose your domain name you are also asked to choose .net, .com, .org, etc. For example your name might be: uniquename.com. You still need to buy webspace before being able to have a website. There are websites that just sell domain names, there are host sites that will offer you domains when you rent out web space from them, or if you have a Mac account you can determine your domain through the Mac’s iWeb application. Your host with iWeb is Mac.com which is pretty neat.

• Host Site: the place where you can rent web space. Basically it’s a password protected profile on a remote server. You will get a folder with your files that when “published” go “live” for everyone to see. On it are a set of folders with y on a remote server. There are MANY to choose from which can become overhwelming fast. When I started out I chose my host based on other’s suggestions. I chose GoDaddy and find it easy to use with decent customer service.

• Web Pages: files on your computer with a .html file extension. http://www.mysitedomain.net/home.html. “How do I get that?” “What program do I use?” .html is a file (just like a Word Document) written in HTML which stands for ‘Hypter-Text Markup Language.” With programs like iWeb, Dreamweaver, and Host Site templates, you don’t have to know much about HTML. Otherwise you will have to learn this language – a system of codes and equations that equals the color and type of text, placement of images, etc. You can type HTML into any text program like TextEdit or Word. There are technical details and issues with the HTML code that can get messy. Again, this is not a step by step tutorial but that’s how it works.

Servidores de descarga directas hay muchos, pero en unos hay más material disponible. Los servidores que más material tienen son Megaupload y Rapidshare, sin embargo debido a que este último tiene unos limites de descarga bastante tacaños (estoy por decir que se puede descargar más de Megaupload como free que de Rapidshare como premium), Megaupload le está recortando la distancia a pasos agigantados.

Después hay 3 servidores que vienen pegando fuerte: Storage.to, Uploading.com y Hotfile.com, La razón es que estos servidores están pagando (bastante dinero) a los uploaders.

Para este post, he hecho la prueba de subir varios archivos a los servidores anteriormente mencionados además de Easy-Share, Share-online.biz y Filefactory y he posteado las subidas en cuatro foros bastante conocidos.

La primera conclusión es que casi el 90% de las descargas han sido de Megaupload (lo que es bastante obvio si tenemos en cuenta que un usuario free se puede descargar bastantes gigas sin ningún tipo de problema).

Como uploader, una de las premisas es tratar de conseguir suficientes puntos para conseguir renovar la cuenta premium.

Yo tengo cuenta premium (anual) y en Rapidshare (mensual, aunque dudo que la renueve), y después de varías semanas de pruebas, veo que es bastante difícil conseguir los puntos necesarios.

Ambos servidores, te permiten canjear puntos por dinero, pero son necesarias muchas descargas, y el pago por mil descargas, en el mejor de los casos apenas supera el euro.

Por eso la mejor opción siempre va a ser usar la opción de subida remota, para poder tener varios mirrors con una sola subida. Para ello yo he utilizado una ftp privada, aunque se que hay servicios que permiten subirlo a varios servidores a la vez (lo malo es que no conozco ninguno que permita introducir nuestros datos de usuario).

Respecto a Storage.to, Uploading.com y Hotfile.com estos servidores pagan en función del tamaño del archivo que subas, de tal manera, que lo óptimo sería subir archivos de un tamaño entre 300 y 400 MB ( en Hotfile.com el tamaño máximo permitido es de 400 MB).

Por otro lado en Megaupload, solo los archivos inferiores a 100 MB suman puntos y solo puedes sumar un archivo por IP y dia.

Asi partiendo de que pretendemos subir un archivo de aprox. 700 megas, lo ideal sería dividir el archivo en partes de aproximadamente 300 MB (para Storage.to, Uploading.com y Hotfile.com) y uno más pequeño de algo menos de 100 MB (para Megaupload).

Filefactory también paga por las descargas, pero solo es interesante para ciertos países (sobre todo USA).

El resto de los servidores analizados, apenas producen descargas.

Después de toda esta mi recomendación es de si se quiere comprar una cuenta premium hacerlo en Megaupload ya que no tiene límite de descarga y además permite ver películas online (en gran número de páginas), o bien esperar a que nuestras subidas produzcan el suficiente dinero como para comprarla.

Anoche me quedé dormido mientras ripeaba el episodio, pero ya esta disponible.

À duas noites atrás, uma daquelas noites em que parece que todos os mosquitos embirraram comigo, o calor decidiu concentrar-se no meu corpo, e a ventoinha pareceu não me conhecer; decidi meter os fones no computador, e ouvir qualquer coisa que me distraísse..

Com as músicas vêm recordações, com as recordações acordam-se saudades e sentimentos de tristeza acumulada.. Una Palabra, Quero Paki, Fizz e Acme, Voar – Agir, Só entra Pombos, Stone Sour, Valete, Juju Gomes e etc; uma sequência aleatória que de aleatória não tinha nada. Parecia um sinal, um sinal de que o passado veio atrás de mim, atrás dos sorrisos que um dia tive.. Tive muita gente na minha vida, gente que foi aparecendo, gente que vinha  ia, gente que ainda vem e vai; mas há alguns que não se distanciam apesar da real distância.

Foi tudo espectacular, tudo sorridente, sorridente mesmo, feliz, e ás vezes meio ‘turvo’, mas a culpa era daquelas coisas que fumávamos pelas noites dentro, ahah.

Tenho saudades tuas meu irmão, dos momentos em que nos confessávamos como não fazíamos com mais ninguém, das alturas em que decidíamos que mesmo sem dinheiro íamos sorrir e viver como se fossemos ricos, como se os nossos bolsos vazios estivessem cheios e não tivessem fim. Não tenho como descrever uma amizade de 11 anos, que se mantém, mesmo estando do outro lado do mundo, e se fortalece com uma distância impotente perante aqueles verdadeiros SORRISOS e horas passadas.. tranquilamentee.

Ainda choro, não tenho como conter. Eu sei que não devia, porque chorando lembro aquela despedida, aquela noite na estação de Sjoão, em que não deu pra segurar, não deu para controlar, não consegui deixar de pensar que uma boa parte de mim ficava aí, junto de um amigo, que cedo, muito cedo se tornou um verdadeiro irmão.

Aquelas noites de putos, em que ficávamos a jogar, sempre a jogar, e no dia seguinte acordávamos para ver desenhos animados, jogar futebol com caricas, trocar as caricas por bebidas no Eduardo, O tony’s bar, o Bismark (ahah), Sebuteo, consolas antigas e jogos engraçados, cadernetas cheias de cromos das competições de futebol, cartas pokemon, brinquedos partidos que se tornaram recordações de uma infância difícil mas linda. Foi tudo complicado, foi tudo mais complicado do que parecia na altura, mas não podia pedir uma infância melhor. É como nós dizemos, as recordações vão aparecendo e são tantas que é impossivel recordar num texto ou num telefonema.

One talk on day one (yesterday) of the 2009 Singularity Summit made me sit bolt upright in my seat, very glad to be listening to it – my mind excitedly turning over important new ideas.

With my apologies to the other speakers – who mainly covered material I’d heard on other occasions, or who mixed a few interesting points among weaker material (or who, in quite a few cases, were poor practitioners of PowerPoint and the mechanics of public speaking) – I have no hesitation in naming David Chalmers, Professor of Philosophy and Director of the Centre for Consciousness at the Australian National University, as the star speaker of the day.

I see that my assessment is shared by New Atlantis assistant editor Ari N. Schulman, in his review of day one, “One day closer to the Singularity“:

You can get a gist of the talk from Ari’s write-up of it.  I don’t think the slides are available online (yet), but here’s a summary of some of the content.

First, the talk brought a philosopher’s clarity to analysing the core argument for the inevitability of the technological singularity, as originally expressed in 1965 by British statistician IJ Good:

“Let an ultraintelligent machine be defined as a machine that can far surpass all the intellectual activities of any man however clever. Since the design of machines is one of these intellectual activities, an ultraintelligent machine could design even better machines; there would then unquestionably be an ‘intelligence explosion,’ and the intelligence of man would be left far behind. Thus the first ultraintelligent machine is the last invention that man need ever make.”

Over the course of several slides, Chalmers broke down the underlying argument, defining and examining concepts such as

• “AI” (human-level intelligence),
• “AI+” (greater than human-level intelligence),
• and “AI++” (much greater than human-level intelligence)

Along the way, he looked at what it is about intelligence that might cause intelligence itself to grow (a precursor to it “exploding”).  He considered four mechanisms for extensibly improving intelligence:

• “direct programming” (which he said was “really hard”)
• “brain emulation” (“not extendible”)
• “learning” (“still hard”)
• “simulated evolution” (“where my money is”).

Evolution was how intelligence came about so far.  Evolution inside an improved, accelerated environment could be how intelligence goes far beyond its present capabilities.  In other words, a virtual reality (created and monitored by humans) could be where first AI+ and then AI++ takes place.

Not only is this the most plausible route to AI++, Chalmers argued, but it’s the safest route: a route by which the effects of the intelligence explosion can be controlled.  He introduced the concept of a “leakproof singularity”:

create AI in simulated worlds

no red pills (one of several references to the film “The Matrix”)

no external input

go slow

Being leakproof is essential to prevent the powerful super-intelligence created inside the simulation from breaking out and (most likely) wreaking havoc on our own world (as covered in the first talk of the day, “Shaping the Intelligence Explosion”, by Anna Salamon, Research Fellow at the Singularity Institute for Artificial Intelligence).  We need to be able to observe what is happening inside the simulation, but the simulated intelligences must not be able to discern our reactions to what they are doing.  Otherwise they could use their super-intelligence to manipulate us and persuade us (against our best interests) to let them out of the box.

To quote Chalmers,

“The key to controllable singularity is preventing information from leaking in”

Once super-intelligence has occurred within the simulation, what would we humans want to do about it?  Chalmers offered a range of choices, before selecting and defending “uploading” – we would want to insert enhanced versions of ourselves into this new universe.  Chalmers also reviewed the likelihood that the super-intelligences created could, one day, have sufficient ability to re-create those humans who had died before the singularity took place, but for whom sufficient records existed that would allow faithful reconstruction.

That’s powerful stuff (and there’s a lot more, which I’ve omitted, for now, for lack of time).  But as the talk proceeded, another set of powerful ideas constantly lurked in the background.  Our own universe may be exactly the kind of simulated “virtual-reality” creation that Chalmers was describing.

Why they pay you?

You probably think why the owners of file hosting pay you such money? It’s simple. In fact, they give you part of their own earnings. The files, uploaded by you, people download, but they download them not on direct links, during of the process they need to view advertising, or to escape this the need to buy Gold-accounts (the privileged conditions for downloading from these servers). People or advertisers pay to file hostings, and they share with newsmakers (posters) – with you, thanking you in such way for distributing your links on the files and bringing visitors to this file hosting for downloading files and viewing of advertising. In other words, yor work as promoters for file hostings.

I recommend you 7 file hostings. All hostings official registered, reliable and regularly pay. It makes sense to sign up immediately at all, but when you will post news(with your links) you may write links to the 4-5 file hostings, depending on the requirements admins of the site, the size of your file, the target audience, the minimum payment. For example, Letitbit not pay for downloads of files smaller than 5 Mb. For files with size of more than 200 MB you can get good income using of SharingMatrix, UploadBox, DepositFiles and Rapidshare. After working with them a couple of months, you can choose which of these file hostings and in what combination would be a priority for you. So, try to work with Depositfiles, SharingMatrix, Hotfile, Uploading, Letitbit, Up-File, Qubecash and create your own online business.
