Upon arriving here a few minutes ago, I saw what appeared to be a comment left by Megan Williams. It read as such:

Perhaps fracas is a little too old or a little too salty to believe things like this without scrutiny, and maybe that’s a bad thing… but I don’t think so. Go figger… I don’t think I’m wrong. Who’da thunk that?

So… I have briefly searched for more information and have left this message in the comments to the original post. That message read as follows:

If this is honestly megan, I will remove this message… however… please don’t call this number unless I post more info that it’s safe to do so. In doing a bit of checking, I’ve learned it’s a cellphone number that’s been linked to stories where ‘megan’ recants some of what happened to her. I’m looking for credible evidence and will update on what I find. So far, no MSM corroboration so this may be a scam/hoax. I hope not… that would just be people victimizing her again.

Until I have more facts and some credible corroboration, please DO NOT assume this is really Megan and call the number. My fraccy sense is telling me it’s the result of someone nasty who doesn’t realize this is another horrible thing to do to Megan.

I will keep you all posted with news as I find it, and if it turns out to really be Megan, I will admit I’m wrong. I find the idea that she’s changing her story of what happened to her now… and saying some of those things didn’t actually happen to her and blaming some of what did happen to her on her deceased mother Carmen, to be disconcerting and wary of suspicion. If this was really the case, I’d expect to find it on the MSM news and not just under the radar sites where conveniently… she’s left a comment like this one and a phone number. I suspect a rat.

UPDATE

In looking for information, I repeatedly come across no main stream media account of any of this. Indeed though, it does appear that Carmen Williams, Megan’s mother, died in May of this year. I am repeatedly finding comments left by someone claiming to be Megan (or another woman claiming to be taking care of her and her sister) alleging that some of the attack did not happen, that Carmen forced Megan to make those claims and that Megan’s money (and a laptop given to her by Montel Williams)  were stolen by Carmen and Carmen’s husband. The woman claiming to be caring for Megan now claims she and Megan want to set the story straight.

Seems possible… but then again… at another site, the owners offer to help them set the story straight but ask to verify their identities. Suddenly… no more comments are left.  At another site, ‘megan’ asks someone reading, to call prosecutors in the case for her. A commenter then leaves the phone numbers for those prosecutors FOR megan to use to call herself… and then of course, the comments stop.

I AM alerting some MSM media to this situation in hopes that they who have resources, will use them to either help megan… or out these scammers. Either way… it’s a story they should want.

Fracas has sniffed her breath, her feet and her armpits. She’s also checked for spinach in her teeth. 

All seemed as per usual and yet… there’s seems to be a dead zone or something happening lately…

(Note that I didn’t say I didn’t have bad breath, stinky feet or armpits and teeth full of icky green plant material that would make one think I was dredged up from some foul-smelling lagoon, I said it was as per usual… )

Why?

Well, I’ve noticed that comments have dwindled down a bit here at the fraccy blog, and I’ve been wondering what’s up. I thought it might be one of those things to blame, but if you didn’t mind those things before, you shouldn’t care now, right?

Right.

It’s all very bewildering, and I’ve noticed it happening at some other sites online as well. I’m not going to fret about it, but I’ve decided to be a little more informative, so as to help all of those 1,041lurker folks out there realize why, in fact… they may actually be risking their very own safety by not leaving a comment when they visit my (or even other) blogs.

Remember all those wise old sayings you used to hear from your mother? Sayings like:  

• I brought you into this world and I can take you *out* of it!
• If you fall and break your neck, don’t come running to me.
• If you dont stop playing with it its gonna fall off.
• You’ll poke someone’s eye out!
• If you keep making that face, it will stick!

They call those sayings mom-isms, and so I’ve come up with something similar, only for lurkers. I call them my frac-isms, and I expect them to take over the internet once other bloggers who’ve noticed their comments are down, decide to post about them with a link back here. We could easily form one very mean ‘Pouting Posse’… so all you lurkers had better beware! 

Here then, are:

1. I you don’t leave a comment your computer will freeze here.
2. Yes, dear… God is watching you when you don’t comment…
3. Leave a comment. Why? Because I said so!

Dear Maple Leaf Foods;

My name is fracas, and I have a blog, as do millions of others all around the world. While I’m sure I’m not your biggest problem (since anyone who would transfer equipment that killed twenty people instead of put it out of commission entirely, surely has problems deeper than any of us can know) I do hope to become at least a bit of a problem to you because my blog gets a tad more attention than some, and I plan to use it to make people aware of your stinky and indefensible behaviour!

Oh… and I also happen to live in Saskatoon. You know… where you’re sending the listeria contaminated equipment from your Ontario plants because you’re too fraccing cheap to care if you kill twenty more people. Well, you know what? I care… and not to say that the other people who’ve suffered and died, or their families don’t count, but my family lives here, my friends live here, my childrens’ friends and family live here and a whole lot of other people I care about live here… and they don’t deserve to be sick or die because you haven’t the sense to admit that if you can’t get the equipment clean enough to please the folks in Ontario, it’s not clean enough for us here either!

Manufacturing equipment from the Maple Leaf Foods facility in Ontario linked to the deadly listeria outbreak last summer has been shipped to Saskatoon for use at the local plant, but the company says consumers have nothing to fear.

Maple Leaf spokesperson Linda Smith confirmed Wednesday that meat processing machinery from the Bartor Road facility in Toronto had been moved to Mitchell’s Gourmet Foods.

The move was part of a larger shift that saw equipment move to and from plants in Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Smith said Maple Leaf routinely moves equipment between its facilities in order to address production and consumer demands.

Bartor Road was linked to the listeria outbreak in August. The plant was closed for 28 days and underwent a rigorous cleaning process overseen by Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

“It went through six sanitizations prior to reopening,” said another Maple Leaf spokesperson, Jeanette Jones.

According to a statement issued by Maple Leaf president Michael McCain, Bartor Road reopened for testing on Sept. 17. While early tests did show signs of listeria, the plant has since been approved by the CFIA and has been shipping product to stores since Oct. 20, Jones said.

Although not conclusive, the most likely source of the outbreak was bacteria found deep inside some of the plant’s 84 slicing machines. As part of its stricter sanitization procedures, Maple Leaf has begun to regularly dismantle, clean and reassemble the machines.

Although she was unable to clarify whether slicers were brought to Mitchell’s, Smith says any equipment shipped to the plant would be subject to the same scrutiny.

I just don’t believe you.

I’m also 100% sure that I’m not the only one who believes you’re shipping that equipment here because you want the people of Ontario to trust you again and buy your damn products, so you’re placating them with new equipment and sending your listeria infested reject equipment over to us.

Why are you doing that? Are we lesser people because we’re from that nasty old Western Canada?  Is it because you think people in Saskatchewan are stupid, or is it because Gerry Ritz had a big mouth?

Mitchell’s Gourmet Foods has been operating in Saskatoon since 1940 and came under Maple Leaf ownership in 2003. Its focus is on pork processing.

The company maintains facilities on 11th Avenue and on McLeod Avenue in Saskatoon.

A spokesperson at Mitchell’s would not comment on the story and insisted all inquiries go through Maple Leaf.

To be truthful, I really don’t care why you’re doing it, only that you are. The deaths of that many people at your filthy hands, should warrant the destruction of that equipment. If you’re not smart enough… if your company is void of anyone in charge without the conscience to do such… you deserve to go bankrupt via a perpetual boycott of your products, no matter where they’re produced, and even the folks in Ontario should understand that. Think you’re safe because you have new equipment? Think again. A company that would simply send the old crap responsible for the deaths of 20 people, on to other unsuspecting folks, isn’t the company that’s going to maintain the new equipment either. If you folks in Eastern Canada have a lick of sense, you’ll understand that.

So whomever and wherever you live, boycott Maple Leaf Food products until they show they have even a fraction of decency in their collective bones….

…or their ‘gift’ of listeria might mean your bones end up in a box.

So it seems, Mitchell’s Gourmet Foods doesn’t want to deal with angry Saskatchewan residents?

Tough luck for Mitchell’s. I doubt anyone with a brain thinks contacting Maple Leaf Foods is going to result in anything beneficial. Why would it? A company who treats Saskatchewan as the equivalent of a third world dumping ground for its contaminated equiment is hardly going to invite us for tea to discuss the matter.

This is your call to action, people of Saskatchewan. Do let Mitchell’s know what you think. Leave a comment here, write your own post, write your own letters to the company, write a letter to the Editor and above all, boycott any products coming out of Mitchell’s Gourmet Foods.  It’s the only way they’ll listen, the only way to stand up and let them know that people in Saskatchewan matter as much as people in Ontario.

The last five days I’ve had not much more to do that read and watch television. I’ve heard Obama, head McCain, heard Biden and heard Palin. I’ve had my fill of the brainless celebrities who think it’s their place, while living in the luxury that celebrity provides, support and encourage Americans to elect the man (Obama) who spreads less than 3% (not to mention the man who spreads less than 1%) of his own wealth, yet wants to spread yours. Contrast that to the man (McCain) who spreads more than 20% of his, who, in the face of possible death and certain torture, would not utter a bad word about your country.

In case you can’t or won’t do that math… that means McCain shares more than six times what Obama does, with others, showing that he’s actually the guy who lives what Obama preaches.

And over this past few days, I have done homework… the homework many people actually voting for Obama today haven’t done… instead, voting for him because of the feeling they get from listening to him… failing to remember that some people have the talent to generate those feelings when they really aren’t going to ever provide you with the actual goodness to go with that feeling later. You know… people like The Reverend Jim Jones, Sun Myung Moon, L. Ron Hubbard…

I’ve done the homework, and frankly, after all I’ve learned… even listening to his voice now makes me feel sick.

The photo here? It’s a still shot. He “accidentally” used his middle finger (despite having just scratched his face with a more typical finger moments earlier) when talking about McCain’s military service.

This, my American friends… this still shot is the epitome of what everything I’ve learned over the past while has convinced me Obama really thinks of you and your country. The day is only half over and already there are reports of Republican voters being intimidated at polls by black security “guards” with billy sticks, intimidating anyone who looks as though they aren’t going to vote for Obama. This is what you wanted? This is the change you wanted? I’m sickened.

If you elect him today, I am certain that time will show you why you shouldn’t have… time will prove it.

Only who knows what the cost to your country and the world will be?

[Disclaimer: I do not know if the black men on tape wearing militant garb and sporting billy clubs outside polls are in fact Black Panthers. Some say they don't exist. News stories are titled such and search terms using that term are used. Addendum: I’ve watched more video, and this is outrageous. Despite the individual being on tape carrying the billy stick/club, the fellow interviewed in the Black Panthers vs Fox News link pretends he knows nothing of the sort… attempts to tell the news reporter that he has no right to be there… and they’d actually called the police to have the reporter removed, only for all (police included) to learn that the reporter has a legal right to be there reporting.

Poll workers even admitted to feeling intimidated by these men, wearing the Black Panther garb and carrying the sticks. The student video of the man who, upon being approached by the student, begins to wave the stick up and down, is available at the Fox link, but doesn’t play from there for me. I’ve provided it here, but if that doesn’t play, go straight to this youtube link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neGbKHyGuHU) and watch it there.

Following that video, the Fox reporter attempts to report the situation that was reported by the student, and is first made to leave by police (called by the Panthers) only then returns after Fox verifies their legal right to be there. You can hear the nervousness in the voice of the student… and you can imagine how a voter might feel upon being presented with this situation.

Found: Pre-marked ballots for non-English speakers

In the time it took to add this to this post, a specific feature about “what voters are saying at the polls” was presented on CNN. They featured some silly text message an Obama supporer got from an unknown source… saying something about lines being long and so Obama supporters should vote Wednesday. Clearly… a foolish joke. No one would believe something that stupid. However… this made the CNN version of “news” while this photograph here, or the Fox report, did not. I will be sure to keep watching until I see this on the mainstream news.

I know… don’t hold my breath. I won’t.

THIS… this is what you’re electing when you vote Obama. I hope you’re happy. I hope you don’t mind this kind of life because if he should win… this will be your life for the next four years.

I have pondered writing this a hundred times, and ninety nine times I have retreated. I, knowing many of my own readers sport Obama/Biden buttons on their websites and may become upset enough at me for writing this that they may choose to stop visiting my own site, have agonized over whether or not I should just keep my mouth shut and consider it none of my business. After all, why should a Canadian question their choice to vote for Obama this Tuesday? What on earth could I possibly know about something that affects their country?

So I, the Canadian, have done what Canadians are known to do; I played the role of the polite neighbour, keeping my opinions mostly to myself, not risking a thing… content to poke fun at both sides and retain my readers.

And then I happened to have my television on the other day, and heard Barack Obama speaking to the crowd in Pueblo, Colorado. I noted that he said he wanted to change your country. I didn’t believe what I’d just heard… but I heard correctly. He did not say he wanted to change how the government functions, or how he wanted to change the things that are wrong in government.

He said he wanted to change your country.

And the people cheered.

The election in Canada is over. Stephen Harper will continue on as Prime Minister with a minority government… which is nothing most of us here didn’t expect to happen anyway.

Putting that aside, let’s chat about the American Election campaign, which is still going strong.

I happened upon this video, and it really has to be listened to to be believed. If I told you what it was about, you wouldn’t believe me anyway.

Now… you can be angry with me for posting this, or you can be angry with the people you should be angry with.

It’s going to be rough on the fraccy family, I tell you. Fracas (that’s me) has learned something earth shattering today, and it will mean the end of fraccy bliss (as they know it).

Any activity which is unnecessarily distressing should be discontinued.

I’m not making this up. Honest to goodness, I read it here, but there are many other news sites sharing the same story.

Children at Whitminster Church of England primary school, near Stroud, Gloucestershire, won’t need to learn lists of spellings.

Headteacher Debbie Marklove told parents: ‘You will notice that the children will not be given spelling lists to learn over the week.

‘We have taken the decision to stop spelling as homework as it is felt that although children may learn them perfectly at home they are often unable to use them in their daily written work. Also many children find this activity unnecessarily distressing.

As I understand it, because children are finding spelling lessons to be unnecesarily distressing, the intellectuals involved with making such decisions have decided the correct choice of action is to tell them they don’t have to do it anymore.

You can’t imagine how excited I am and how absolutely ready I am to apply this logic to my own life.

Washing the laundry?  Unnecessarily distressing to me. Nix it.

Sweeping up and Hoovering (Vacuuming)? Unnecessarily distressing to me. Nix it.

Cooking family meals? Unnecessarily distressing to me. Nix it.

Driving everyone to activities? Unnecessarily distressing to me. Nix it.

Clearly, you see where this is going. I’m going to have boatloads of free time, perfect nails and a good deal of extra cash to spend based on the savings in gas (petrol) alone.

I would sincerely like to thank Headteacher Debbie Marklove for bringing such logic to the world. Perhaps a shrine to her genious should be the first order of expenditure with my savings? The fraccy family though? I’d let them tell you themselves, but they’re all busy…

I just hope it’s Debbie Marklove and not me.

I might have been a bit generous in my description of Ghalib, and for that, I offer my aplogies and a good excuse.

It’s a title. I didn’t have enough room to write what I really wanted to say or It would take up too much room in everyone’s sidebar. The full title would be, “A Britney Spears sex tape makes Adnan Ghalib a liar and a rapist and worse than pond scum, or just a rapist and worse than pond scum, but in both cases… truly worse than pond scum.”

See my dilemna? That was way too long for the title.

Here are two scenarios.

Scene 1: You’re Adnan Ghalib. You’re seeing Britney Spears for a few months while she’s going through a mental health crisis… and you know she’s going through a mental health crisis… and you have sex with her (or not) and there is no sex tape. Much later, you decide to tell everyone that there is a sex tape, but that you will not talk to anyone about it unless there is talk of price. Spears denies it, but you know you can still eke out your 15 minutes of fame by talking about pink wigs and kinky foreplay, all the while not having to prove a damn thing.

Here are the slip-ups in that scene. Frac. Where was editing when you needed them?  

• You forgot that if there was a legitimate sex tape, you wouldn’t have to be taunting everyone that there is one, some dirty dishrag mag or porn pusher would’ve offered you the cash you want for it before you ever told anyone about it publicly, and we’d be learning about it because it’s out there, not because you want to taunt us.
• Oops. You forgot that to brag about boinking someone while they’re going through a mental health crisis makes you not much better than pond scum. Wait. Pond scum actually has more redeeming value.   

Scene 2: You’re Adnan Ghalib. You’re seeing Britney Spears for a few months while she’s going through a mental health crisis… and you know she’s going through a mental health crisis… and you have sex with her (or not) and there is a sex tape. Much later, you decide to tell everyone that there is a sex tape, but that you will not talk to anyone about it unless there is talk of price. Spears denies it, but you have the sex tape and you plan to cash in on the fact that you not only had sex with someone famous, but you taped it.

• You forgot that even though you have a sex tape, it’s a tape of you having sex with someone while they were in the middle of a mental health crisis is actually called evidence, not a source of income… and normally, decent people don’t do that kind of thing. It’s called taking advantage of someone, because even though they say yes, maybe they aren’t capable of making the right choice because of the state they’re in?  You forgot that it’s like screwing the drunk girl on the bed because while you know she’s three sheets to the wind and doesn’t know what the frac she’s agreeing to, she technically said yes.
• Oops. You forgot that to brag about boinking someone while they’re going through a mental health crisis makes you not much better than pond scum. Wait. Here’s more evidence that pond scum actually has more redeeming value.   

You see Adnan… the whole world knows you were seeing Britney while she was in the middle of a mental health breakdown. While we all had poked fun at Britney for a lot of stupid behavior, when it became clear she was suffering in a real way and needed to be treated with some decency in order to get well… many of us stepped up to the plate and either defended her or asked people to back off and let her get well.

What’s more Adnan, is that the world also remembers the stories that claimed Britney was afraid that you had a sex tape from that horrible time in her life, and that you would use it against her.

But sources claim the two haven’t got back together for purely romantic reasons – Britney is apparently terrified Adnan has an explicit video of her during the couple’s brief trip to Mexico in January.

‘Britney’s really scared that Adnan has a sex tape,’ an insider tells MailOnline.

‘She wants to get it out of his hands.’

The love match will be met with strong disapproval by Spears’ father, who is still her legal custodian following a legal order earlier this year.

‘Britney’s father can’t stand Adnan,’ added the source.

‘He thinks he’s seedy, with ulterior motives.’

Indeed, MailOnline understands that Ghalib offered to sell a kiss-and-tell style interview about life with Spears a British Sunday tabloid after the pair initially split.

But the tabloid thought there were discrepancies in his interview.

So right now, it doesn’t matter if you have a sex tape or not… you’re still a useless piece of work for trying to market one, and you know what? If there is one, I hope the reason you’re whining to the public, trying to get someone to make an offer to you, is because even the dishrag mag publications and the porn pushers out there do know what you seem to not know, and that is:

Having sex with someone in a mental health crisis is considered rape and normal people don’t want to see that tape unless it’s because they’re part of a jury asked to send you somewhere where people might not have a problem taking advantage of you too.

Bipolar disorder
If you suffer from a bipolar disorder (manic depression) and you know that during a manic state you become sexually active, this does not mean that people have the right to take advantage of you.

The information is available everywhere, easy to find and should have you either handing over the tape to authorities, or running like hell as far away as you can go in order to hide from the world, now that we know what kind of scumbag you are. I suggest a cave somewhere, because given that pond scum is a step up from you, there’s probably no swamp that wants you either.

Information You Can Use:

By law, date rape is defined as having sex with another person without that person’s consent. What constitutes consent is difficult to define, though. Mental illness or cognitive impairment legally prevents a woman from giving her consent, even if she verbally says it’s okay.

So Adnan? We know that y’all were in Mexico, and would probably use that detail to get off on taking advantage of Britney’s mental state at the time. We know that probably, no celebrity wants to go through the crappy torment that would result from trying to legally do something about being taken advantage of while mentally ill. We get it. We know you’re trying to go to the bank with that.

What some of us are saying though, is that you’re scum. Some of us don’t even really like Britney. We’re not ‘fans’ blindly defending or supporting her. Some of us are grown ups who couldn’t care less what she’s wearing, what she’s doing, if she has a new album out or if she’s ever going to tour.

It’s just that we see all of this and we recognize that people who would do what you’re doing shouldn’t be out there able to do it to someone else. Maybe we can’t make that happen… but we can sure do our part to help others understand what scum you really are… and in the process, maybe help some non-celebrity realize that they have a right to not be taken advantage of while they’re experiencing mental illness too. 

If you, or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis and they ‘ve, or you’ve been taken advantage of sexually, please seek help. It is not ok for people to take advantage of you when you’re at your lowest. Open your local phone book and look for any type of mental health services. Call them. It doesn’t matter if you can’t find the right department, tell them why you’re calling and ask them to re-direct you to the right place. If they won’t… please post a comment here with (not your real name) but your real city location and I will try find the right place for you to call.

Disclaimer: As someone who has watched how badly someone with a mental illness really does suffer and shouldn’t be taken advantage of, this is my personal opinion. I’m not interested in your attempts to “put me in my place” because you don’t agree with me and think people with mental illnesses are able to give consent. My reply to you is here in advance.

Some time ago, I wrote a note to Mexico too, so please don’t take offense at this. You see, I’ve been writing this blog for a while now, and I’ve noticed something about the way you produce things over there.

See, first I wrote Melamine In Human Food Next. People were upset about their pets getting sick and dying from pet food coming from you. It had melamine in it. Melamine should be on cupboards, not in pet food.  Lolcat would agree. Kthxs.

And then, because it seemed that I wasn’t the only person thinking this, other people were worried that this melamine might have gotten into the human food supply chain. I wrote Tainted Human Food. I think lolcat would agree this time too. After all, every lolcat needs their hooman. Kthxs.

Then… then you made me really mad because I read more and learned that the Melamine in Pet Food May Have Been Deliberate. So lolcat was really mad at you now. So was fracas. You really should’ve gotten your act together. Please stop this kind of thing. It makes us all go grocery shopping and read labels now so that when we see Product of China on a label, we don’t buy it. I hate reading labels. I spend so much extra time shopping for food that it cuts into my shopping-for-shoes time.

It’s today now China, and it seems China, that you didn’t learn. Lately there’s been that tainted milk thing, where you’re not just making lolcats and loldogs sick, you’re making babies sick too. Your own babies. How smart is that?

And now… if that wasn’t enough, the news is reporting this:

A Chinese sweet maker has stopped domestic sales of one of its best-known brands after it was found to contain the industrial chemical melamine.

The company, Guanshengyuan, has already halted exports of the popular White Rabbit candy, made from milk.

It is the latest development in the food safety scandal involving milk contaminated with melamine.

A growing number of countries have already banned or restricted imports of Chinese products containing milk.

The news comes just days after China’s food safety regulators said that recent food safety problems had been brought under control.

In China the tainted milk has made 53,000 children ill and killed four.

So China, here’s an important note for you from fracas.

I know I’m not big and powerful or anything like that, but I’m a mom of kids that grew up never getting sick from their milk (well, unless you count lactose intolerance, but I digress…) and knowing that the only time the ate melamine was when they tried using the cupboard door as a teething biscuit.

That’s how it’s supposed to be for babies, people and lolcats. Food is supposed to make you grow and be healthy, not kill you because you made an oops and put cupboards in it.

Yon fracas is in a quandary. I’ll make it simple. (Simple I said, not short. Am I ever short? Gee whiz. You should know better by now…)

1. I started a blog on WordPress.com
2. I love my blog on WordPress.com
3. WordPress.com is a wonderful blogging platform where the going is easy, the (real) problems are few, and the bloggers benefits from forum volunteers, tech help and best of all, the referral tags which bring traffic to a new blogger’s blog thus bringing joy and happiness upon seeing the coveted hits and comments.
4. I like to eat, and sleep in a bed with a roof over my head.
5. My family likes to do the same, they would appreciate my earning an income from my blogging.
6. I would then, like to turn my blogging into an income. Yes… really, this time. I meant to long ago, but other folks’ needs came first. Folks like my children and their medical issues.
7. So I am finally serious.
8. Drat. I’m blogging at WordPress.com, which doesn’t allow bloggers to monetize their blogs.
9. Therefore I schemed, paid for and created a new site… one I could monetize.
10. Oh… I also schemed another site I could create income (albeit in a pretty silly way) at.
11. I now have three blogs to maintain, which will require the same type of traffic and ranking that this one enjoys.
12. Holy frac, that is hard. I am living and breathing blogging stories.
13. My family thinks I have lost my marbles.
14. (I have hidden the fact that I never had any from them for quite some time.)
15. (Ok, so they’ve known all along and the only person who is being fooled is me… so what, they love me anyway.)
16. I must choose what to do. Here’s why…

I want to earn an income, and in my own highly esteemed opinion (well of course my own opinion is going to be highly esteemed… sheesh) it is not reasonable for an intelligent, capable adult to think she needs to be still doing the SAHM thing when her oldest child is as old as she was when she had him, and her youngest child is almost in high school. Besides. I am so over the SAHM thing. No offense to all you young parents who gasp at my statement, but after more than 20 years of doing it (off and on.. I have worked outside the home too) it’s lost it’s lustre. Honest. It happens to everyone eventually. And see, when you get to be as old as me… you have to pay for college educations, weddings and then all that stuff you have to buy so you can be that annoying grandparent who spoils the grandchildren. I’d like to be prepared for that spoilage while also being able to do fraccy spoilage. Heck… I’m worth it too.  

The rub though, is that I’m a totally bossy kind of bitch assertive and confident person who would rather work for herself (or perhaps boss other people) than work for someone else. I’ve done both in my time, and I know for a fact, I like being the boss as opposed to the bossed.

So here are my choices.

Choice A:

I could continue as I am, putting ridiculous time and effort into numerous sites until eventually I have gained the traffic and ranking I desire over at the new sites, at which point I will be able to peddle anything I desire from it make very wise marketing decisions and earn the income I desire.

Choice B:

I could close this blog down and redirect all my efforts to the Fraccers.com site. (I have not really wanted to do this, because I am a loyal WordPress.com blogger, and hate to be just another person who bolted from here in order to make money.)

Choice C:

Beg and whine for everyone who has ever read or enjoyed here, to give Fraccers.com a link from their site and a click or two every day so that I can keep this blog, yet gain a bit of traffic over there, at which time I will be able to peddle anything I desire from it make very wise marketing decisions and earn the income I desire… effectively having my cake and letting everyone else eat it too.

Choice D:

Give myself a kick in the butt and just go back to working outside the home. In which case, I will not have time to blog in the same way that I do since up to now, putting a lot of time and effort into the blogs was considered an investment.

Yesterday, some ignorant asshat posted a hoax about Miley Cyrus’ death, first at Wikipedia, then it was cross-posted over at Digg.

The page at Wikipedia has been corrected since, but the Digg page has at this time, almost 500 diggs to the story, which reads:

On September 5th 2008 Miley Cyrus died in a fatal car crash on the way to the set of Hannah Montana. Her car was part of a side impact crash with a F-350 driven by an unidentified black man. She was seriously injured and rushed to the hospital only to die there a few minutes after arriving.

Fracas has saved a screen cap in the event someone wants to see it. Just ask.

In fact, why not first head over to Digg user SEANWOOKIE’s profile page to let him know how happy you are that for over 6 hours, he didn’t once bother to acknowledge that the story he dugg was a hoax. Yep folks… even though an hour in, another user told him to nix the Wikipedia link (since it was a hoax and corrected) but he all but disappeared from his own revelation.

If he was duped by some other asshat’s ‘creativity’ at Wikipedia, wouldn’t it be decent to apologize?

He hasn’t.

His blog shows a screen cap of the false story at Yahoo News, and links over to the larger view. I’m sharing the same screen cap with you below-left. Above, you’re seeing a snippet of the false Wikipedia page where, despite the hoax claiming she died on September 5, 2008… the Wikipedia inset lists October 5, 2008 as her date of death.

So David Emery is correct in that the hoaxters can’t spell. Apparently they can’t read a calendar correctly either.

So a hoax with misspelled words and incorrect dates in it ends up being taken seriously, given credibility by ending up on local, televised and internet news; dugg almost 500 times and as we speak, kids who don’t know this isn’t real yet, are spending their time creating Miley Cyrus memorial videos over at youtube.

That tells you somerthing about herd mentality doesn’t it?

Last we left off, Olga’s cups had tearfully overflowed with news of not one, but several brief dalliances with an assortment of what mostly turned out to be… the wrong man (or men in a couple of cases).

I had to go without finishing the story because poor Olga was just beside herself with woe. She’d told me all about the love of her life (a certain bloke we’ll call ‘L’) and I had gotten busy blogging her story for all of you. I’d reached the part where one would naturally ask her whatever happened to ‘L,’ when I heard wretched sobbing, the sound of elastic snapping and what sounded like a glass breaking in the dining room.  

I bounded up the stairs and found Olga clutching this photo. She was miserable, claiming she felt emptier than the time she’d been sent over as wardrobe for Keira Knightly. She missed her ‘L’.

Apparently, she’d met him while he was on a very brief stopover on his way to help his family on the farm back home in New Zealand. His father was very ill and there was no way his mother could manage on her own. He simply could not put himself first and so Olga had to be content with a photo and a memory.

Well, there’s only one solution for a crisis like this, and it involves the girls.

No, I’m not talking about the girls… I’m talking about the girls!

Petra… and her friends.

One quick call and Petra was here within the hour to help lift Olga back up where she belongs!

It might not be the kind of love Olga was missing, but the love of friends is enough to lift us up when we need it!  Petra had made some new friends in the last few months since she’d visited, and she was more than happy to bring them over for a real hen’s night!

There was much singing, plenty of wine and before you knew it, Olga was feeling as though she’d just been starched!

Olga seemed to really enjoy Petra’s new friends. They came from different backgrounds, but they all seemed to find something in common.

There was Mia, who said her name came from the constant cries of “Mama Mia” whenever she seemed to be around, and there was Nicolette. Nicolette was a little on the racy side. She liked to travel, just like Olga, and she said one of her goals was to make her way to a place in Australia where she thought for sure she’d find work entertaining some folks at a hospital. Petra just seems to get along with everyone, though she does seem to have a bit of an attachment to me. (Click the image and it will open a larger version with the girls’ names for you to see.)

So things were going well, Olga was cheering up and it looked like the idea was a winner.

Except that everything almost got out of hand when I let them use the computer.

What a mistake that was. Drunken surfing is usually a bad idea, so I should’ve known better.  

Petra said it was really Mia and Nicolette’s fault, but I’m not so sure about that. Petra seems to have gotten, well… a little loose. I mean, there they were, if you can believe it… at that nasty 2 girls 1 cup site!

I’d left the room for only a short while, to get some coffee brewing for them (seemed like coffee was a good idea since the wine was all gone) and when I come back, I hear them talking about their cups and how they could do it better. Mia not having any cups… blaming her was a likely story.

Anyway, I nearly tripped down the stairs and spilled the coffee.

Without another thought, I hit the power button on the computer, gathered them all up and sent them off to bed for the night.

It wasn’t long before all four were out like a light. Wine will do that to some folks you know, and I guess underwear isn’t immune to the effects of a nice Shiraz.

In the morning, we all sat down and I asked them what the heck they were thinking? Didn’t Olga realize how upset her blog-mistress would be at me for something like that? I explained how the stuff on that site wasn’t even real… how this fellow who made fetish videos for a living had admitted using chocolate in the making of such icky videos and how thousands of people would watch them and be misled into thinking they were seeing something really bizarre.

They all felt a little foolish and explained that it was the wine and the partying that had them talking so silly. Olga said she knew her blog-mistress’s site was proof positive that for her… 1 girl 2 cups was the very best way to go!

And what cups they are!

I’m telling you fraccers, Olga is a treat to have, but if you take my advice and never throw a hen party with the four of them together, you’ll have saved yourself a box of hair-dye!

And that… is how Olga spent her last day with the fraccy family.
