November 10, 2009:  This day marked the 234th anniversary of when a committee from the Continental Congress met in a Philadelphia tavern and stood up two battalion of Marines, an organization that is now known as one of the world’s most elite fighting forces.

CNN attempts to expose Islamists in the video below. Unfortunately, the mosque they claim is opposed to the loud-mouth jihadis who spew hatred outside the mosque, is led by an imam linked to Islamic terror fronts and groups. New York (CNN) — Outside a Manhattan mosque where the imam preaches against terrorism, the brothers of the “Revolution Muslim” are spreading a different message.

They hand out fliers outside the gleaming 96th Street mosque, where up to 4,000 people visit every day. Inside the sleek, modernistic house of worship, Imam Shamsi Ali preaches against the violence that now sweeps many Muslim countries.

Anyone remember the Muslims who used to preach hatred just outside the World Trade Center for years? No one paid attention to them.

Militant Islam Monitor (MIM) has more on Shamsi Ali, the imam interviewed above who gave the standard ‘Islam is peace’ answer for the cameras.

MCN Board members include Imam Shamsi Ali who is an advisory member of KGIA. In 2006 Ali was together with Mazen Mokhtar the Imam on the Islamic Center of New Brunswick as a speaker at an Islamic Circle of North America/Muslim American Society/Young Muslims Youth Camp Mokhtar was accused of helping Al Qaeda and the Taliban by running mirror websites to the Jihadist Azzam.com named after Abdullah Azzam Bin Laden’s mentor. In July of 2000 ICNA held a Jihad Camp in Pennslyvania.

A search for Shamsi Ali on Militant Islam Monitor reveals a the original posting of the ICNA/MAS/YM announcement showing him as a speaker at a youth camp together together with Mazen Mokhtar.

Mokhtar, was accused of helping British Al Qaeda operative Babar Ahmad to create backup copies of the jihadist Azzam.com website. Court papers stated that the administrators of the Azzam website aimed to “solicit funds for blocked organizations,namely the Taliban and the Chechen Mujahideen, in an effort to support their goals”. The summer before the terrorist attacks of 9/11 ICNA held a Jihad Camp in Pennsylvania which one leader explained, “were intended to “help them (the youth) understand what the concept of jihad really is”. At a 2000 ICNA event ICNA director Tayyab Yunus pleaded with the audience “The youth is very important…And we all want to see our youth succeed and become engineers, but how many of you can actually say you want to send your sons to Jihad-to Chechnya? [Takbir –Allua Akhbar] How many of you can actually say that you want to send your youth to fight in jihad…or to send them to these Islamic institutions to be educated? The presence of Imam Shamsi Ali on the KGIA advisory board is further proof that the school’s agenda will have more in common with “Islamic institutions” which ICNA director Tayyab Yunus urged Muslim parents to send their children to in preparation for jihad.

Shamsi Ali also has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda. In 2006 he spoke at a Young Muslim camp organised by the Islamic Circle of North America/Muslim American Society (the American wing of the Ikwan). Another speaker was New Jersey Imam Mazen Mokhtar who was tied to UK terrorist Ahmed Babar (who was jailed for planning to attack Heathrow airport). In the court documents Mokhtar was accused of setting up mirror websites for Azzam.com (named after the Al Qaeda ideolouge Abdullah Azzam the mentor of Bin Laden). According to law enforcement the sites were intended to raise funding and recruit fighters for the Taliban and Al Qaeda.

If Shamsi is supposed to be a moderate, it begs the question once again, Who’s the Bigger Threat to America: The Moderate Muslims or the Honest Jihadist?

It’s not a coincidence that even during the ground breaking the dirt laid out takes the obvious form of an Islamic crescent and star, as seen in the still shot below.

WAPO:  Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and relatives of those killed in 2001 on United Flight 93 turned shovels of dirt at a groundbreaking ceremony Saturday for a permanent national memorial at the western Pennsylvania crash site.

“Let’s roll,” Salazar said, borrowing a phrase from Todd Beamer, the passenger who led a revolt against terrorist hijackers. The memorial is set to open by Sept. 11, 2011, the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks.

Gordon Felp of the group Families of Flight 93 said that the victims’ courage inspired people to work on the project. The 2,200-acre park will feature a chapel with 40 chimes, one for each of the victims, at its entryway. A path will guide visitors to the crash site.

That day, Rick Kupke was the last of the 52 American hostages to surrender to hundreds of terrorists at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, Iran.

An armed terrorist punched him in the face, bending his metal glasses into a U-shape and slicing his face on the first of his 444 nights as a hostage. Kupke, the only Hoosier hostage, hasn’t viewed the world the same way ever since.

Other terrorists later pinned him down, one on each arm and leg, demanding at knife point the combinations to the American Embassy safes.

The screenplay Submission, written by Ayaan Hirsi Ali and produced by Theo van Gogh, includes quotes from the Quran written in Arabic on a womans body. For his part in Submission, van Gogh was slaughtered by a Muslim in broad daylight on an Amsterdam street, his throat slit with a butchers knife, and a five-page letter stabbed to his chest with another knife. Semana passada, no dia 26 de outubro, o U2 marcou época mais uma vez, foi a primeira banda a fazer livestream de um show no YouTube. Não vou questionar aqui a qualidade do show que aconteceu no Rose Bowl (Pasadena, CA – USA), pois a combinação da banda com a experiência de um show em 360º é inquestionável. Bom, a primeira apresentação online da banda foi um sucesso, teve mais de 1 milhão de espectadores ao redor do mundo (o show já conta com mais de 10 milhões de views), que estavam conectados via twitter no momento do show. A tag #u2webcast presenciou o Trending Topics do twitter logo depois do início da apresentação, que estava marcada para 1:30 (horário de Brasília). Aqui em casa, com minha NET Virtua 3mb rolou direitinho, não parou nunca, e eu fui até o fim (2:21:22), mesmo não gostando muito.

Não gostei pelo seguinte: não parecia ao vivo e não tinha quem me convencesse disso. Tudo bem que estávamos todos no twitter, conversando e vibrando, mas tudo aquilo foi tão sem graça… O único momento que meio que me senti no show foi quando o Bono deu oi para o mundo e citou algumas cidades, fora isso parecia um show de qualquer dia gravado com câmeras profissionais, mas com uma qualidade ruim. Faltou uma conexão do evento com o seu público online, talvez se os tweets aparecessem naquele telão gigante de 360º algumas vezes eu teria me sentido mais “presente”. Enfim, valeu a experiência e, obviamente,  não tem comparação com a coisa ao vivo, estar no meio da multidão, pulando junto e gritando bem alto, não tem preço.

If Doug Hoffman can’t be bothered to show up to debate the other candidates then why should we think he’ll show up for votes in Congress to represent us? If Doug Hoffman can’t be bothered to show up to a debate then why should we Republicans be bothered to show up at the polls to vote for him?

Just what we need. Another liar in office. Apparently Doug Hoffman fought hard to win earmarks for the businesses he worked with (i.e. Adirondack Medical Center). Now he says he’s against earmarks. Well Doug, which is it???

Doug Hoffman represents all that is wrong with the Republican Party, and yet, is not even running as a Republican. As a local moderate Republican that doesn’t support the far right wing of the party I’m trying to decide whether to just stay home or to vote for Bill Owens. I’m very much leaning towards voting for Bill Owens to send a message to the loony wing of the party to stay out of the back yards of moderate districts. Here’s something, though put together by the Democrats, that I have to agree with.

Mecca, the holiest city in Islam, is going to be redesigned, and a proposed master plan just leaked to YouTube.

…it seems destined to become one of the most high-profile architecture projects in a generation. Commissioned by the Saudi Royal Family, with an estimated budget of $13 billion, it would address massive overcrowding, which has led to thousands of trampling deaths during the yearly Hajj, which draws  1.7 million pilgrims.

Now that the holiest city in Islam will be redesigned…by kuffar from the West, every Muslim who makes the Islamic pilgrimage will be doing so in a Western-designed and built Mecca. How ironic is that?

The public event has been rescheduled, not cancelled as reported by some media outlets.

Checking out the Islam4UK website, it will take place at an undisclosed location on Oct. 31.

However, we would also like to announce that the relocation of the March4Shariah/Islamic Roadshow will take place on 31st October 2009.

Finally, we would like to say that indeed we will never stop calling for the implementation of the Shari’ah in the UK, and that we will continue in our struggle to make the Deen of Allah (SWT) dominate all over the world.

It is authentically recorded in Sahih Muslim that the Final Messenger Muhammad (saw) said, “Verily Allah gathered the earth for me, so I saw its east and its west and verily the authority of my Ummah will reach all parts of the earth.”

The rescheduling of this event may be due to the various counter-protesters, but does it change anything other than today and tomorrow?  Clearly, those who want to implement Islamic sharia law have only changed the date and location of this event. The British government has not reversed the many foolish policies (sharia courts, veiled women cops, police dogs with boots, not arresting jihad inciting Muslims, welfare to terrorists, immigration, etc.) that give pro-sharia Muslims the belief that Islam can dominate the UK.

Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed, born in Syria in 1958, joined Hizb ut-Tahrir as a teenager in Lebanon during the early 1970s. He also created another organization that aims to create a global Islamic Caliphate, Al Muhajiroun, established in Mecca but launched publicly in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with 40 founding members on March 3, 1983, a date chosen because it was “the 59th anniversary of the destruction of the Ottoman Caliphate.”

Expelled from Saudi Arabia for radical political activity, the Sheikh arrived in Great Britain on January 14, 1986. He soon began to establish both Al Muhajiroun and Hizb ut-Tahrir on fertile British soil. (more at the link above)

An update to this post regarding the march for Islamic sharia law coming up this weekend in the UK.

Among the counter protests will be a group of Muslims called the British Muslims for Secular Democracy (BMSD). Don’t know anything about them, but here is a video they released that is sure to make things interesting. Will they be called kuffar, racist and islamophobic like others who oppose the imposition of Islamic sharia law in the West?
