This past weekend was something I’d been looking forward to for weeks since the Fall semester began at VSU. I made plans to drive the 5ish hours to Valdosta to visit my friends and see the first show of the semester when it became clear that I wasn’t attending school this semester, and after worries that my parents wouldn’t allow me to go and that I wouldn’t be able to get off work, everything happened to work out and I was able to spend the weekend at my home away from home. 1,260 more words
