These are just a few AMVs I love right now. Just thought I would share ^_^

Summary:

Pulling away from Zero’s fangs, both him and Yuuki are stunned to see her blood covering the wooden floors. Kaname, alerted by the scent, comes and confronts Zero, protectivly covering Yuuki. She faints before either of them can react and Kaname takes her to the nurse while the chairman calms Zero down. There, the silent tears flow and she discovers that Zero, originally a human, has transformed slowly into what he is now- a vampire. Afterwards, Kaname goes to assure the night class on the scent of blood and Yuuki, stunned, accidently overhears his conversation with the chairman about moving Zero into the nightclass. Shocked by another truth, she runs with a change in heart and slowly realizes that Zero, who hates vampires to the extent of murdering them, what he must feel about himself. In class the next day, she knows what she has to do when Zero never appears and heads to the Moon Dorm- the vampire’s dorm. Inside, Aido, bored by an interview, is already irritable when he pushes them out the door in time to welcome Yuuki in. After a playful joke, he leads her to Kaname’s room, stopping on the staircase to ask her who bite her, showing her bandage that he’d taken off. When he sees her stare off so admiring when he mentions Kaname, his anger overpowers him, and Aido, using his abilities, freezes the staircase- and Yuuki’s leg. When he demands to know what Kaname is to Yuuki, she tells him off about how he saved her. In a somewhat deep and twisted explanation, he tells her that her blood belongs to Kaname- and somewhat forcefully says he’ll take her to him himself. And suddenly Kaname’s there, his own abilities easily evaporating Aido’s and with a hard slap in the face, Aido respectfully leaves. After a talk with Kaname (a very cute talk at that), she demands that Zero be left in the day class. But he cannot agree to that. Because a human transformed into a vampire will surely sink to Level E, the kind of vampire that attacked Yuuki before. Devastated, she runs and night falls so easily. Determination courses through her and she burst into his room in time to stop Zero from pulling the trigger. Through a sudden change of events, Zero asks Yuuki to shoot him. With her own hands. When she refuses, he gets up and walks out. Again, she stops him. And now she promises him she’ll stay by his side in a very sweet moment between them. Kaname, like always, knows what she’s doing, and with an approving and mysterious look on his face, we turn back to Zero and Yuuki. Her promise to stay by his side, however, may unravel into something more deadly than either of them could have forseen.

Views:

As soon as Kaname said he sensed blood and bolted out the door, I was practically holding my breath. Because Kaname, like always, knew what was happening. It was all a part of his little “game” and, well, he’s just amazing like that. And I seriously thought he was gonna hurt Zero. I mean, he put Yuuki behind him for protection, but at first I thought it was to hide her from seeing that kind of thing again. Sweet, innocent Yuuki of course had to stop him to protect Zero

She collapsed from loss of blood. Which, somehow, was very fitting into this dramatic twisted vampire romance. But poor Zero, already back to his senses had to watch as his girl faint because of what he did and watched as another carried her off. I mean, yeah, he shouldn’t have lost control, but still. Drama& suspense seem to be targeting Zero right now, and I’m still a little fed up with all those suffering scenes with him

Aww, Kaname’s too sweet. Of course he wants to take care of her, but having to ask her if she was afraid of vampires, afraid of him, must have been at least a little hard on him. And like usual, Yuuki, though freely showing her tears, isn’t afraid.

I’ve said this to all the other characters a thousand times, and I’ll say it a thousand times over: Poor Yuuki. No way should a high school student’s life be so complicated

Oh, and the bite must have hurt too. A lot to take in.

Now, this may be a little bit of a spoiler, but remember those “purebloods”. I won’t tell you why, but keep it in mind. It makes everything more exciting(;

Aido, you sure do seem gloomy. Is it cuz you wanted Yuuki’s blood for yourself? Tsk tsk

See what I mean. Kaname seems to understand everything when it comes to Yuuki. Though I almost wish he hadn’t realized she was overhearing what he was talking about. Some things are best left unknown, especially in this series

Shirt off again? Yuuki would have chastised you for that, thinking you’d catch a cold or something… she’s oh so adorable that way

I’ve always though Yuuki was pretty. I just realized that Yori-chan was too. What with her calm and collected, knowing nature she fits right in. And of course, we get another “don’t worry, it’s nothing” response from Yuuki whenever those little things (like getting bite from a vampire) happen to pop up

Hehe, I just thought Aido was cute here

Chibi moment~

He’s still as cute and oblivious as ever and Yuuki still has that “you’ve got to be kidding me” look back from episode 1

Uh oh. Aido looks serious- seriously scary that is. How come he’s still cute? Oh, well, Kaname has the same kind of ability. And he’s doing that thing where he knows everything

Oh, you silly girl being whisked away just like that. You’re even blushing and he isn’t even around. I think all the vampire drama’s getting to you, you’re falling head over heals in love and you’re only 15. She’s still cute though. She kinda looks like a little kid here so she has that big-eyed innocent look

That’ll shut her up. Aido’s treading on thin ice (hehe, get it ice? sorry, bad joke). Look at her, all stunned and such. I think his anger really overpowered him in this scene, making his usaul character seem so out of place, though I don’t understand why he’s getting so upset over this simple thing.

He is 100% serious… but doesn’t he look so casual here?

This is really putting things into view. A vampire’s view that is. Yuuki owes Kaname every drop of her blood? That may be how they see it, but this probably scared the heck out of Yuuki, like she really needed to know this on top of everything else.

Yuuki’s thoughts: Kaname? Not that I’m not glad you’re here, but why can’t I slap him?

Kaname’s thoughts: (I don’t even know what was running through his mind)

Aido’s thoughts: Oh crap. This probably looks pretty ugly

I’m pretty sure Aido just wanted to get the hell out of there.

I can almost hear the anime fangirls cheering

“Stay just as you are, and that’s enough.”

Yeah, it’s corny. But beyond words in the sweet and loving category. And I think that’s the most romantic scene with them so far, especially when you see those eyes.

I think this is the hottest screenshot of Kaname yet. Have fun for all you AMV makers out there.

I feel like putting a lot of scenes between these two today. For one thing, Kaname’s too adorable for his own good and these moments are too much fun to not review!

I love these corny moments when he wipes her tears away. Not just in Vampire Knight but it pretty much everything, it’s a classic romance scene

NO! Ugh. In one of the other episodes (or maybe it’s in the future, can’t remember) he says something like this where he tells her that “running is what’s best for her.” It sure as heck ain’t satisfying me, I’ll tell you that… *grumbles in a corner*

How come all the little memories for Zero seem to rip his heart everytime?

I was scared that Zero actually considered it. It makes sense, quite honestly, that he would, but that he would go out and do it is an entirely different thing. Yuuki doesn’t want him feeling this way, so even though it’s to help her, I’m sure this made her feel so much worse.

I just love this. Holding on to both of them and making such promises is just like her. Which is probably why she’s so loved

It sure seems like a lot of couple moments, huh? I’m just glad she stopped him.

NO! Kaname didn’t need to see this! I can’t tell if he’s sad, approving, or unsure. I know I’m pretty unsure. I can’t choose which boy to pick any more than Yuuki can. But, back to the point, like usual Kaname understands everything that’s going on in his academy. Normally, I’d love that, but for this episode, I don’t one bit. No need to inflict more pain on an open wound. Because, as you’ll later find out, Kaname’s past is something that’ll make you want to cry when you see him like this now. Especially with Yuuki involved.

Sinopsis

Ciao Max, sono Emiliano, ti ho già scritto qualche tempo fa. volevo porti alcune domande riguardo una serie “minore” rispetto all’ottimo materiale Marvel Italia, ma comunque riguardante un personaggio di punta statunitense, ovvero l’amato Spawn, pubblicato da voi in spillati trimestrali. Vado con le domande:
1) E’ possibile, in futuro, vedere altre raccolte in volumi di cicli più o meno famosi dell’Hellspawn come è stato per La morte di Angela, magari in 100% Cult Comics?
2) Dato che sono oramai esauriti ed irreperibili da anni, se non a fiere del fumetto o simili ed a prezzo maggiorato, avete mai pensato ad una ristampa dei bellissimi volumetti Spawn Collection?
3) Ho visto che sullo shop online del sito Panini praticamente tutti gli spillati precedenti al numero 107, tranne alcuni degli ultimi, sono esauriti: è possibile in futuro vederne una ristampa o riproposta in altri formati, tanto per ricollegarci alla prima domanda?

Grazie! Purtroppo, per adesso, non sono previste nuove ristampe di storie del sempre popolare Spawn. In repato novità, tuttavia, non perdere Spawn/Wild C.A.T.S scritto da Alan Moore in persona in uscita a gennaio!

Ciao Max, ti chiedo scusa anticipatamente perchè già so che la domanda che sto per porgere alla tua attenzione ti sarà stata fatta almeno un milione di volte… Volevo sapere se i numeri di Vagabond che ristamperete nel 2010 apparterranno alla prima edizione oppure alla Vagabond Deluxe e poi se c’era qualche speranza di ristampa dei numeri esauriti di Bastard (tipo il numero 21 che è praticamente introvabile)? 1) non c’è una miniserie Dark Reign, ma troverai ogni mese per un annetto vari speciali e gli “approfondimenti” (che noi chiamiamo tie-in) sulle varie testate.
2) Il primo volume di Dark Reign: Punisher, che contiene i primi cinque numeri della serie Punisher (vol. 8), è effettivamente in edicola! Il secondo arriverà in estate!

Quale sarà il destino dei Guardiani della Galassia, continuerete a pubblicarli?

Certo, caro Nicola. Prima su War of Kings Preludio: Guardiani della galassia (febbraio) e poi direttamente sulla miniserie in cinque numeri War of Kings (a partire dal n. 2 di aprile)! Non perdere nessuna uscita delle mirabolanti avventure del nuovo gruppo di giustizieri cosmici!

Ciao Max, ho appena letto i vostri annunci Planet Manga fatti alla fiera di Lucca. Molto contento per molete cose in quanto rientrano pienamente nei miei gusti fumettistici. In primis l’artbook di Naoki Urasawa, che andrà a completare tutte le opere da voi pubblicate e che non mi sono fatto mai sfuggire. Poi mi ha reso felice l’annuncio di Astroboy di Tezuka. Però ho visto che sul sito era riportato che lo avreste pubblicato interamente come in originale, poi successivamente c’è stata una rettifica, e cioè saranno pubblicati solo 5 volumi…Da buon appassionato di manga d’autore, spero non sia una raccolta incompleta, cosi come spero in un’edizione con sovraccoperta da libreria! E a proposito di manga d’autore, di Jiro Taniguchi cos’è che verrà pubblicato? Tutte le ristampe delle opere esaurite presso il vostro catalogo o anche altre opere inedite? Le ristampe saranno nuove edizioni completamente diverse oppure semplici ristampe uguali alle edizioni già apparse in passato? Grazie perchè da anni ci offrite le migliori serie manga che ci sono in circolazione!

Riguardo Astroboy, si tratterà di un’antologia (selezionata attentamente dagli erede di Tezuka) in cinque volumi dal grande formato e, se non erro, con alcune tavole a colori. Se poi questo progetto avrà successo, nulla ci vieterà di partire con una cronologica del personaggio! Passando a Taniguchi, si tratterà effettivamente di nuove edizioni delle opere da noi precedentemente pubblicate, non di semplici ristampe. Maggiori dettagli prossimamente!

Ciao Max! Ho scoperto una cosa terribile e ti prego di smentirmi… dopo Lucca Comics ho saputo che le CLAMP finiranno presto X, solo che sono venuto a sapere che un’altra casa editrice ripubblicherà la serie dal primo numero.. Ora mi chiedevo… ma ciò implica che Planet Manga ha perso i diritti su X? Nel senso… quando usciranno gli ultimi volumi, potrò averli sotto il vostro marchio? Perchè sarebbe brutto avere 18 numeri di una edizione e gli altri di un’altra… inoltre nelle edizioni delle altre case editrici c’è sempre qualcosa che non va, solo i vostri prodotti mi hanno sempre pienamente soddisfatto, quindi ci terrei veramente a concludere l’opera presso di voi… Ti prego di rispondermi, grazie del tempo concessomi.

Gentilissimo, Gabriele, innanzitutto grazie dei complimenti! Per X 1999, non ci risulta assolutamente nessun nuovo volume in arrivo. E’ comunque vero che in effetti non abbiamo più i diritti di questa serie in 18 volumi ferma ormai dal 2003… i cui ultimi cinque capitoli sono stati pubblicati su rivista da Kadokawa, ma mai in volume.

Konnichiwa Max, innanzitutto volevo ringraziare te e la Plama per le news rilasciate a Lucca (purtroppo ormai finita)… il 2010, come il 2009 del resto, si preannuncia davvero scoppiettante in campo manga! Ma passiamo subito al sodo, non la tiro per le lunghe con tutte le mail che avrai da leggere. XD
Quindi due brevi domande:
1) ho visto che a dicembre inizierà la ristampa della serie Kaori Yuki presenta. E’ per caso prevista anche una riedizione di God Child, magari sul modello dell’originale giappo?
2) Vampire Kight non è segnato nella checklist delle uscite di dicembre, come invece annunciato alla fine del 9 volume… è slittata l’uscita x non raggiungere la pubblicazione in patria (sono all’11° volume, se non erro)?

1) Ristampiamo effettivamente i numeri esauriti della collana Kaori Yuki Presenta, ma NON sono invece previste riedizioni (con differente formato e/o contenuto), a parte Angel Sanctuary Gold.
2) Vampire Knight 10 è in uscita a gennaio! Il 9 dovrebbe essere già nelle tue mani, no? Il volume 11 esce a dicembre in Giappone, quindi se ne parlerà tra qualche mesetto…

Summary: Yuuki and Zero, the guardians of the school, will start another part of their responsibilty- dorm inspections. With Zero acting strange, the worried Yuuki follows him into town, but loses sight of him quickly. When a strange little boy loses his toy, Yuuki chases him down, trying to return it. Only then is she attacked by him and realizes he’s something more than human. Bleeding and hurt, she stumbles into a bell tower while Zero fights of another vampire that appears, killing her quickly with his Bloody Rose. Suddenly, he hears a scream above and Yuuki’s fighting against the strange boy again, when Kaname suddenly appears and kills the vampire he calls a “Level E”. Later that evening, Yuuki searches for Zero, while Chairman Cross talks with Kaname, revealing a hidden truth behind Zero’s dark secret. But will it be too late to warn Yuuki before Zero’s true self is brought to life?

The memories coming back again. It really starts to hit her hard in the next season, so I kind of thought it fit well to remind us of it- that and it’s kind of good to know Zero isn’t the only one suffering, not that I want either of them to suffer. It just seems more balanced if we see some pain from each individual

Notes: Review of the 2 seasons, Vampire Knight and Vampire Knight Guilty

Appreciation: I’ll review the first season and second season together and in the end I’ll comment specifically and quickly about each one, it will make it easier for me. I have watched the anime but I also have read a tiny bit of the manga (though I think I’ll just read it again after it is completed).

To begin with, you can’t deny the allure of the story context: it has vampires. And to be honest, having vampires is worthy enough to gain my interest. I was pretty excited since the official anime premiere was recent and the art caught my eye. After the first episode I surrendered myself to the promising mysterious plot, aswell as to the marvelous seiyuus (who to be honest contribute a lot too).

One of the things I enjoyed a lot was the music. Awesome job. About the animation, there’s nothing spectacular, but the effects and strategies it uses (you know, panoramic views, slow motion etc) make the anime flow pleasantly. The art is attractive and well-finished and the colours are very well-chosen. Charm is the selling trait present in all characters personalities, although each one has their traits.

So, where are the flaws? In the plot development. It started awesome and promising but at some point of the story, it becomes disconcerting, making no sense. The first season has a nice pace, with a nice smooth start to set the scenery. The second season is where the true action culminates and the pace is way too fast, the story seems to have given a 180º turn and the way things are left it just seems all messed up and awkward.

Here’s an excerpt from the discussion I had with Yoko-chan that synthesizes and justifies our opinions and concludes this matter (SPOILER ALERT):

Vampire Knight was one of those animes I was truly enjoying. [...]  I really loved the start and I thought “Oh, I can’t wait for more, this is so good!”, because I liked how the storyline was going but then comes the climax and discovery of Yuuki’s true nature and all seems to mess up. And the way it ended the anime was just weird, so it definitely has to be another season.
I’m terribly confused now. Even though I’m a YuukixZero fan (I also like Kaname, don’t misunderstand), doesn’t it makes sense that she ends up with him, because no matter what, I believe they are the main protagonists in the series. I mean, Zero was a vampire, now that it was discovered that Yuuki was also a vampire there’s nothing opposing it anymore.
That’s why I’m going to place my faith on the author, because she did such a great job at the beginning, I don’t want to believe that she’s gonna ruin it. I believe that this is just a temporary period for whichever plot development. That’s one of the reasons I’m waiting for the manga to end, so I can peacefully read it all.

I fully agree! I’m also a ZeroxYuuki fan and it would be disappointing if Yuuki choses Kaname at the end of it all. Zero’s a vampire and so is Yuuki, so the only thing standing in their way is Kaname. So maybe… something will happen to Kaname, something like … dies trying to protect Yuuki or something and then Yuuki will be completely free to be with Zero. Teehee! I’m being mean here, but… that’s how i’d like it to be.
Anywayz, the manga still being ongoing, I just hope the author will give the majority of her fans what they want. Most VK fans i know are cheering for Zero and he’s also more popular than Kaname. Definitely (thumb up) Zero!

After many trials and tribulations, 妄想scans is proud to present our inaugural release of Vampire Knight, the 55th Night.  

For those who are unfamiliar with Vampire Knight, a short summary with some minor spoilers for more recent events: Yuuki Cross, once the human adopted daughter of Kaien Cross–the founder of Cross Academy, where vampires and humans live in peace, has found out her true identity as the pureblood sister of Kaname Kuran.  After Rido Kuran’s attack on the academy, Yuuki left the academy with Kanameto live for a year in seclusion in the house that was once their parents’. She is now estranged from her former best friend Zero Kiriyuu, a vampire hunter who seeks to end the purebloods.  At a party for the joint union of vampires and hunters, she and Kaname once again cross paths with Zero, and their fates begin to move anew.  

And without further ado, I present the 55th Night:

The public library finally got in the third volume of Vampire Knight! I’d had the fourth volume for about a week, but I wanted to read them in order. I felt that otherwise, I’d just get confused.

Volume three of Vampire Knight begins with a chapter involving Ichijo’s grandfather coming to visit the Moon Dormitory, ostensibly to see him. I’m sure that this visit and the things said will eventually be important to the overall plot of the story, but that didn’t stop it from feeling like filler. The middle of the volume improves slightly, detailing the story of how both Yuki and Zero came to be in the care of the headmaster of the academy. It also highlights something else: Kaname using Ruka, another one of the vampires, as someone to chow down on when Yuki’s trust in him tempted him almost to the breaking point.  There’s a chapter about Zero going to hunt a mad vampire that’s been killing people, and then the volume closes out with a new student joining the Night Class.

All in all, volume three is full of episodes but not really all that heavy on the continuity. The last chapter does lead directly into the plot-heavy volume four, but what comes before that just seems to set certain things into motion that don’t really have a lot to do with one another. Vampire politics, backstory, Zero’s internal conflict–these things are related, but not heavily so.

Volume four, on the other hand, feels like one coherent plot from beginning to end.  Maria Kurenai, the new student who joined the Night Class at the end of volume three, plays significant role in the story. Maria is really Shizuka Hio, the pureblood vampire who attacked Zero’s family and turned him into the creature he’s becoming: a vampire who has been turned from a human, destined to go mad unless he drinks from the vampire who made him.  Shizuka spends the volume toying with her prey, both Zero and Yuki, pushing Yuki into a decision to either kill Kaname or give herself to Shizuka in order to save Zero from his inevitable fate.  There’s a fantastic revelation at the end of the volume that makes my fingers twitch toward the next volume sitting on my bookshelf. I won’t give it away here.

Now. Let’s get down to the first thing I wanted to mention in this review. Vampire Knight’s vampires can go out in the daytime.

Look, you’re gonna have to stop running away when I say things like that. It’s okay! Really!

Even Dracula himself could go out in the daytime. I have to keep reminding myself of this when I run across vampire stories where the bloodsucker is out. (I never count Angel because they were dealing with actors, etc.) Plus, the vampires in this story are nocturnal creatures. They are extremely sensitive to sunlight…I don’t think it’s intentional, but it reminded me of porphyria, the blood disease that is thought to be the source of a lot of the vampire mythology.

Vampire Knight continues to be enjoyable and entertaining.  While volume three has considerable weaknesses, the narrative of volume four more than makes up for it. The art continues to be strong as well, moody, dark, and beautiful as a modern-day vampire tale demands.

Off schedule, but there hasn’t been enough Vampire Knight recently. I love younger Zero a lot, so be prepared for a lot of him in this.

Summary: Ah, valentine’s day at this vampire academy. Flashbacks, memories, cute vampires and chocolate. And of course some cute embarrassed shojo love. Well of course it’s a very ‘dangerous’ day for our guardians, considering they have to figure out a way to keep the insane jealous fangirls in check and make sure the night class’s secret doesn’t come out. And her romance with Kaname isn’t going to help her today.

Damn. Right from the start, we get to see Zero suffer some more. The ‘no shirt’ thing only helps a little bit right now.

Oh…. okay… well freaked out Zero isn’t helping much

I do feel bad for the day class guys though. Although it is pretty silly, I mean, there isn’t one girl that doesn’t like you guys? Sad. Very sad indeed.

But some girls like a badass. You even pointed out like everything good about Zero. I think his badass attitude is adorable. Yuuki does too probably

I’m surprised! The chairman’s actually being professional and series? Well, I suppose this is the closest for him.

It may be a hell of a lot creepier and stranger, but at least it’s normal.

Only thing is I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of the girls in this anime yet that have blushed like that. Definatley creepy.

*GASP* Oh god, doesn’t this look make you want to cry? The part where this is all worry for Zero is still making me giggle, but I cannot get over how sad, lonely, but yet adorable, she is in this picture! We need some reminding who the real shojo girl is in this story.

This was so random. What the hell is Yuuki doing on top of the gate? I love it, but very random darling. I don’t think that’s safe for a young girl. I can almost see Kaname or Zero catching her with that romantic sparkles in the air.

Ah, and we get to see the stubborn guardian side of her once more. But that girl she’s yelling at will no doubt fall… I can already tell.

Oh, surprise surprise, she fell!

And Zero comes to save her! Yay~!

Hahaha, oh Yuuki. What an unneeded cute response to all that.

Awww~ another one of those Kaname and Yuuki moments. I can love this couple too you know because, damn, it’s just so hard to choose!

Well isn’t this odd. Not the part where Zero threatens him, just the whole little conversation was out of the ordinary for these two. Zero will threaten and try to fight Kaname any day.

Even Yuuki picks up something is wrong. Not to worry dear, it’ll be alright.

Making chocolates for a certain vampire? How come Zero has to watch her bake for someone he despises and knows she loves? Poor guy, come here lemme give you a hug…

On the bright side, we get to see another chibi moment. And hear her get all pepped up and then fall and shriek when everything crashes down. Literally.

*Heartache* Damn it, I don’t want to see Zero like this! I don’t care if he’s shirtless of if he stares with you with those freakin adorable silver eyes! Zero’s supposed to be the badass of this story, not the weak one!

*ahem* Alright I’m done for now.

Aww, even when she’s gloomy, she still has that sad little smile on her face.

I’m going to skip the part where she accidently tells Zero off… I’m still upset about Zero weak and hurt, no need to show Yuuki making that worse.

It really is a race to the finish. It’s a bit overdone, but it doesn’t hurt to be safe. Though I can barely recall a time where Yuuki liked playing it safe.

They must really need these gates to not start a fangirl rampage.

Oh Aido. Disobedience didn’t help you very much last episode either.

So with a quick thank you and adorable run off, let the valentine games begin!

I would have expected them to join together and explode through the gate at the sight of Kaname. Embarrassed polite day class girls are much more suited though.

So Zero and some vampires started a fight over that little threat at Kaname. Overprotective bunch, aren’t we? Haha, but of course when Yuuki steps in everyone doesn’t give a damn anymore.

A sudden shift in mood just by having Yuuki come in and take care of Zero. How the hell can she resist those eyes? Helpless, cute, caring….

Pretty cute I’d say, because sadly I’ll have to end here. There’s a bit more, but it’ll probably bring down my mood.

Almost completely a Zero and Yuuki focus for this episode. I still want a little bit more Kaname, but hell, I’m not gonna complain. Warm shojo moments all around. Except for Zero in pain… but let’s not dwell on that.

Drei Tage Manga, Cosplay, Konzerte und zahlreiche Workshops: Die diesjährige Mega Manga Convention in Berlin endete gestern Abend mit einem grandiosen Abschlusskonzert und tosendem Applaus. Nun heißt es wieder “back to reality”. Doch bevor jetzt alle Ihre Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Sailormoon und sonstige Kostüme in die muffigen Kleiderschränke verbannen, hier ersteinmal ein kleiner Rückblick auf drei Tage MMC:

Am Freitag, dem Eröffnungstag, wurde vor allem viieeel getanzt. Die Para Para Connection und andere Gruppen präsentierten Ihre selbst einstudierten Tänze mit Fächern, Schirmen und Laserschwertern.

Als wir am Samstag auf der MMC ankamen, fing gerade der Cosplay Wettbewerb an.  Die Teilnehmer zeigten nicht nur ihre selbst genähten Kostüme, sondern sangen, tanzten und kämpften und brachten das Publikum zum toben.

Vier singende Hobbits hatten es den Zuschauern besonders angetan. Sie erhielten für Ihre Darbietung den Zuschauerpreis.

Die Convention fand ihren Höhepunkt am Sonntag mit dem Abschlusskonzert. Den Auftakt machte das Duo MoCCabur*a, eine “Drummerfressende” Frauentruppe. (Sie sind im übrigen auf Drummer und Bassistensuche!)

Mein persönlicher Höhepunkt war der Auftritt von Kogure, einer unglaublichen Visu-Band. Die Frontsängerin überaschte mit Stimmgewalt und steckte beim Shouten so manchen Mann in die Tasche. Wir hoffen die 5 bald für euch interviewen zu dürfen.

Leider wurde ihr Auftritt wegen der Zeitverzögerung aufgrund technischer Probleme frühzeitig abgebrochen, damit auch noch Zeit für die japanische Band Runa 1945 war. Wir haben aber in dem folgenden Video einen Teil ihres Auftrittes für euch festgehalten:

Runa 1945 legte dann eine etwas skurile Abschlussperformance hin. Zwischen zwei Liedern wurde ganz spontan zu YMCA getanzt.

Natürlich gab es auf der MMC auch zahleiche Workshops, Zeichenräume und vieles mehr. Neben japanischem Essen wurden in den Händlerräumen auch viele Comics und Merchandise Artikel verkauft.

Die 6. MMC findet vorraussichtlich im Oktober 2011 statt.
