Meet it, bitch.

The Sandvich is the Heavy’s first unlockable. It tastes as good as it looks and heals 120 health. Like in real life, the decision to eat a Sandvich must not be taken lightly; The Heavy is completely vulnerable during the four second eating process, and his loud, happy sounds of vigorous chewing will draw enemies like tiny ant cowards to a picnic. OF DEATH. On the bright side, the Heavy’s Sandvich supply is unlimited, so his only real concern is being caught short while enjoying this delicious edible device. The Sandvich is a great tool for a Heavy defending an area, as it gives him the ability to replenish health between enemy waves without having to abandon his post. Similarly, an offensive Heavy without a Medic can step back from the front line and grab a quick snack before resuming his rampage. Beware, however: the Heavy must set aside his shotgun to take the Sandvich, and enemy Snipers are much more dangerous for a Heavy wielding only a minigun.

Well, THAT came out of left field. Not the weapon (which we knew about for a month), but the new “Meet The Class” video. “Meet the Sandvich”

Episode 4: Where’s the Beef? (airing 3/12/08)
The models get meaty, as they must pose with and wear meat for their photo shoot about the meatpacking industry. Meanwhile, Cycle 8 winner Jaslene Gonzalez makes an appearance that ends up with one contestant feeling hurt by something the top model says.

Episode 5: Top Model Takes it to the Streets (airing 3/19/08)
Under the leadership of Benny Ninja, the models participate in a posing challenge…on the streets of New York. As the competition intensifies, one girl begins to feel the pressure of it all.
Guest stars: Benny Ninja & Vendela Kirsebom.

Benny Ninja, posing challenges, and the girls feeling the pressure of the competition. Does this episode strike anyone else as a bit… bland? It’s not like we’ve never met Benny Ninja before, and obviously right around this time (the elimination that will leave 9 girls in the competition), there’s always someone who starts to get homesick, gets tired of the criticism, feels their self-esteem slipping away, or just plain doesn’t think it’s worth all the trouble anymore. Cassie C3, Tiffany C4, Gina C6, and Ebony C9 were all textbook victims of the “post-makeover blues” — girls who lost it within the first few episodes after the makeover (although, not always due to the makeover), right around the 9th place mark. This cycle’s victim? I’m guessing Amis, Lauren, or Aimee.

Oslo Fashion Week er i gang… og alle kjendisene er på plass!

OFW har for alvor blitt et seriøst “to see and be seen” arrangement. Her er alt av kjendiser (ikke bare fashionistaene), ja med alt mener jeg virkelig det. Erna Solberg dukket opp, og det samme gjorde glamourmodellene og gamle sitcom stjerner.

Sansen for “haut couture” er ikke den samme hos alle… Triana Iglesias valgte å ikle seg gummistøvler i kveld (PS! Det har ikke falt en dråpe i Oslo i hele kveld), jo da vesken var knall, MEN! Ja et stort MEN… gummistøvler er rett og slett veldig FEIL på åpningen av OFW, bedre lykke neste gang og mer glamour burde man kunne vente seg fra en glamourmodell eller hva??

Pia Haraldsen så fresh ut i slengbukser kombinert med et smalt skinnbelte og en klarblå t-shirt. Lekker var også Maya Vik, ikledd et mørkblått blyantskjørt med høyt liv, bredt knall rødt belte og en kort biker skinnjakke. PS! Den lille Chanel vesken er selve prikken over i’en. Mariann Thomassen har sin egen unike stil, tøft, men som forventet fra åttitallsdivaen. Dristigst var Hilde Lyrån i sin Jennifer Lopez kopi (Versace). Ellers var det mange store skjerf ute og gikk
