When I saw Veronica Webb sitting front row at the Christian Siriano Spring 2010 runway show, I knew she would soon be wearing one of his fashions. Veronica looked absolutely stunning while attending the 2009 American Ballet Theater Gala in NYC Wednesday night. She wore this one shoulder blue, watercolor gown that was just debuted during New York Fashion Week less than a month ago.

I would have definitely loved to see her hair in a better style, but other than that, Veronica Webb gets two thumbs up.

The Veuve Clicquot  Manhattan Polo Classic took place on Saturday and the stars and socialites came out to see Prince Harry on his first offical U.S. visit.

Attendees included Kate Hudson, Chloë Sevigny and Madonna and her boy toy of the moment Jesus Luz.

Below are the hits and misses of the event starting with Chloë Sevigny.

This is a very Chloë Sevigny-esque outfit.  Though she looks a bit like Mary Poppins from the bust up I still like the outfit.  The scalloped-edged shorts and the hat are whimsical and the strappy shoes add just enough edge to avoid the “lady who lunches” look.  My opinion, however,  maybe biased because I LOVE the film Mary Poppins. 

Next are Rachel Roy and Veronica Webb.

Shall I start with the good or the bad?  While I think Rachel Roy is a very lovely lady and I really like her designs her fashion sense leaves much to be desired.  The only salvageable parts of this ensemble is her haircut, sunglasses and smile. 

On the other hand I really like Veronica Webb’s outfit.  Though it may be a little to casual for the event I think she looks ver casual-chic.  I really like the nude on nude colours with gold accents and the tuxedo detailing on the front of her halter top.

Next we have Hilary Rhoda in what looks like a Miss Davenport halter linen dress.

Hilary looks very California cool in this outfit.  I only have two issues: that black chain strap bag doesn’t go with the outfit and maybe she too is dressed a bit to casually for the event.  But other than that I have no qualms.  I even like the gold men’s watch that she’s wearing.

Lastly, we have Donna Karan (with her daughter Gabby Karan DeFelice).

I love Donna Karan’s entire outfit.  It’s a very age appropriate outfit which doesn’t add on years.  And I.Love.Those.Necklaces.

Ivanka Trump was the epitome of elegance in her embroidered dress.

Supermodel Veronica Webb bucked the blue trend in her ivory gown.

Teal was one of the evening's most popular colors, as Mariska Hargitay (also in Carolina Herrera) proved.

Renee Zellwegger struck a dramatic pose in a silver Carolina Herrera creation.

Lindsay Price arrived with her beau, "How I Met Your Mother's" Josh Radnor. Lindsay shimmered in Carolina Herrera.

Claire Danes and her fiance Hugh Dancy arrived at New York's famous Metropolitan Opera House for the American Ballet Theatre Spring Gala. Claire looked beautiful in a Stella McCartney sheath gown.

Kelly Ripa showed off her fab figure in a strapless Albert Ferretti frock. Handsome hubby Mark Consuelos was the perfect accessory.

I was working the door for this event and when I saw V. Webb get out of her cab (yes, even a supermodel rides around NYC in a cab) I was baffled to say the least. The grey cotton dress was so drab thank goodness she kept it hidden, even if it was with that off-white trench coat. The floral bag she carried wasn’t  workin’ for me either. The “I just rolled out of bed” hair….. not workin’ for anyone. She jumped straight out of the cab and into the photographer’s pit without even touching her hair. Girlfriend should have seen how her bangs were sticking straight up in the air. But that’s not even the worst part! The shoes were absolutely atrocious!  Rubber-heeled tennis shoes? Retire those things ASAP Veronica.

Dull, Dull, Dull

The former model turned journalist and TV presenter, just looked drab in a brown and mustard floor length dress.

It did nothing for her, and just made her complexion look dull.  Her shoes are terrible and with no accessories its just bland.

Next on the bad list is, Vanessa Carlton.

The singer songwriter, and pianist looked like she had just come of the set of an Addams Family film.

I really don’t understand this look, is she trying to go for the gothic look with the biker jacket, if so she has gone way over the top.

Tibi has always been a favorite of mine. The collections always have a little hippie groove in them, using really bold patterns and embracing one of my favorite silhouettes of all time, the short dress with long sleeves.

I just found my favorite house in the entire world, a Marrackech-inspired pad on a canal in Key West featured in this month’s Architectural Digest, and this caftan would blend right in with the spread. The Moroccan and Alhambra-style textiles, inlaid tiles, colors, and woodworking used inside and outside the house are tireless and neverending, but they all work together wonderfully.

I can smell the frangipani from here.

Tibi is for sale all over the Internet. And p.s., I luck out a lot with this brand on ebay. Let me know if you see the brown dress with the feather print! I need it.

NFL Player, Keyshawn Johnson, hosted an exclusive Monday Night Football Party at the Salvatore Ferragamo flagship store located on 5th avenue. The event consisted of 250 industry individuals, which mingled with Keyshawn’s friends and Ferragamo fans as the Philadelphia Eagles took a win over the Cleveland Browns. The man of the hour arrived fashionably late, but like a great host, he walked around and greeted all guest as well as thanked them for attending.

Although it was raining outside, the event had a good showing of beautiful New Yorkers. People were looking good and making connections over glasses of free drinks. Two bars were strategically placed on the 2nd floor of the flagship as the alcohol flowed all night. A few ladies were spotted shopping downstairs as the cash registers were left open throughout the event. A highlight of the evening was the Ferragamo gift certificates which were given out after each quarter to lucky scoreboard winners. I unfortunately didn’t win anything although I had my eyes on the final prize which was a $1,000 gift certificate. I had it ALL planned out in my head….I was going to win  the final prize and buy a patent leather bag I scouted out when I first walked in….unfortunately for me, things didn’t work out that way. Oh well! Maybe next year!

Before the end of the football party, Keyshawn gave a few remarks where he acknowledged his love for the Ferragamo brand. He mentioned that as one of his favorite brands, it was only fitting to host an in-store event.  How loyal of the guy wont you say?!?
