We so want to find our soulmates, our other half, the one that makes us feel so alive it becomes a delicious,  painful pursuit.  The Femme Fatal, Black Widow, Praying Mantis, the dark destructive moth to flame obsession that we nervously try to pass off as love. The irresistable pull, the run away train that we have boarded…. is any of this love?  Maybe in a Black Lillith Moon kind of way, but really it is an attraction that blows into an obsession.  This energy often tears families apart, shatters dreams and hurts those innocent people close enough to rip and shred when the time bomb goes off.  Often you will see those transits applying to natal and or progressed charts, but how it plays out is up to the individual… I hope.  I have recently watched marriages destroyed, families uprooted, and many hearts broken over LOVE.  Something wrong here, love is warm, accepting, encouraging, nurturing, inclusive, encompassing, joyful…. I haven’t been seeing that.  What is common in these individual’s charts?  I turned to my own little obsessions to find a common pattern.

We all have some celebrity or other we at one point or another wanted to plaster our walls with their posters, maybe fantasized about meeting.  Yet, we all focus on someone different mostly.  Some celebs we feel a special bond toward. I looked at the ones that stopped me in my tracks since my teens and found some interesting stuff. If anyone wants the birth info or the charts used sent to them just write me.  Now, don’t laugh…. these are my dream team guys:
Francois Truffaunt(French director/actor), Steve Martin (comedian and actor), Ben Murphy (actor known best for role of Kid Curry in Alias Smith and Jones), Gene Kelly (no kidding), Harvey Korman (actor/comedian), David Duchovney (actor) and John Elway ( the Quarterback)  Funny, as much as I love Music, never had a musician crush.  You can see this list is a bit different from the posters of Sean Cassidy or any teen magazine steam rolled out teen boy celebrety…. this list really got me.

What do we see in common?  Very heavy play of conjunctions with the North Node of either the Celebrity or myself.  There are often conjunctions to the Vertex or Anti Vertex of the other with personal planets.  Pluto and or the 8th house is active in all of the Synastrys and Composites.  Francois Truffant must have been in his 60’s when he starred in Close Encounters of the Third Kind…. and I about 11 years old.  I went to see the movie over and over and I was convinced this was love.  In Synastry, almost every planet in one chart is conjunct another planet  in the other one’s chart.  I doubt to this day I have met anyone or known of anyone with such tight and exact aspects.   Some of the charts have unknown times, so the core sample is smaller with looking at the angles of the charts, and in the one’s known, often the Asc/Desc or the MC/IC were conjunct the others planets or angles.

So how realistic is it to look at the composite charts or Davidson charts with someone who we are not involved with?  I think it is never too early.  Why date for an amount of time to find out the possibilities are nil due to erratic behaviours when we can see that in moments with a Composite Uranus running amuck in a chart?   I decided to look closer at one of my “crush’s” nativity.  I chose John Elway, because we did have a “relationship” of a type and I wondered if that would even show, as brief and distant as the exchanges were.  I am assuming the chart information I have on him is correct and will go from there.

John Elway’s chart has a beautiful kite formation.    I know those with the kites  give off a delightful charismatic vibe to the world.   The Apex of the Kite is the Sun and Venus conjunction that is at the same degree of my natal Moon and opposed my natal Sun.  His natal Leo Moon is conjunct my natal Vertex overlaying my 7th house.   His POF is conjunct my BML and Juno conjunction in Scorpio.  Okay, there are dynamics right there in the synastry charts, and not too different from my other celebrity obsessions.  Then I pull out the composite.  I am looking on how I am affected as opposed to how I would affect him… though that peeks through anyway.

The Composite Sun is Conjunct my natal Jupiter, the Jupiter being the apex of my natal Tsquare with the Luminaries.  The Composite Pluto is conjunct the Composite MC and opposed Mars on the IC.  And as you will see in a moment, that particular aspect is appropriate.  Composite Juno is currently conjunct my Progressed Venus, may be why I am enjoying writing and thinking about him right now.  The Composite Jupiter is conjunct my natal Saturn. (again we will see that importance soon) and finally what stands out the most to me, a Composite Moon in the 8th house with the lord of the 8th’s cusp being the Moon.

So, there is some 8th house/Pluto stuff going on.  Interestingly, we don’t see personal planets involved showing a good-natured, feel good warmness from the Composite.  It is there in the Synastry, but not in the chart that speaks of the relation.  Okay, I know you are dying to know about the “relations” I had with John Elway.  When I was 18 and moved to Denver, it was Elway’s rookie year with the Broncos.  One balmy Summer night I was driving down Colorado Blvd.,  the 6 lane span was empty… well it was after 2am.  I watched a car in my review mirror coming on to mine fast and not slowing down.  Not wanting to get hit I swerved into the ditch/gutter, and as the vehicle drove by, I saw it was that rookie guy the media was covering everyday.  I suspect that since he was a fairly new celebrity that the vanity plates with his name had a short-lived existence, but they were there that night.  Okay, that is kind of Pluto (ish) and hmm can give it the 8th house too I suppose, as for years I would joke around Elway tried to kill me.    Some years later, the 8th house took on a greater importance.  I worked for  John Elway Mazda in Westminster, Colorado for a while.   I sold cars that he had initially purchased so there is our 8th house legacy, joint possessions.  The Composite Jupiter conjunct my Saturn makes sense, as I got income from working for him.  Did Elway and I ever meet?  I did see him occasionally on the road again and such, but no, we never did.  And probably a good thing too, as with his natal Venus on my Moon and his Moon my Vertex conjunction, I would probably would  have latched on to his leg and as he drug me around trying to shake me off,  people would only see the Plutonian Obsession.  Well, synastry has my Venus on the Cusp of his 5th house, maybe he wouldn’t shake me off immediatly. 

Standard Form of a Quadratic Function

Where

The restriction on the quadratic term, , ensures that the function is indeed a quadratic function. Without the squared term, you are left with a linear function or a constant function.

A simple skill assessed in most high school algebra 2 classes is the ability to classify functions. If you are studying quadratics, then you have studied linear equations with their close relative the constant function. To classify a function, it is often necessary to simplify what is given in order to properly determine the type of function.

In the steps above, line 1 represents the given function. Line 2 represents simplifying the equation with multiplication. You may have heard of the acronym FOIL, which stands for: First, Outer, Inner, Last. This is a short cut to multiplying to binomials. Anyway, line 3 is formed by actually performing the multiplication set up in line 2. The change from line 3 to 4 occurs by collecting or adding the like terms of -4x and -6x to give the linear term -10x. The quadratic term is and the constant term is .

Example 2 Understanding the Graph of Parabola

As with working with linear functions, the ability to interpret and analyze the graphs of basic quadratic functions is critical. It is good to note that the graph of a quadratic function is called a parabola. Figure 1 is the graph to the parabola, . For now, the function in the previous sentence is irrelevant. The reason for this, the graph is given. I will discuss in an upcoming post how the actual function is related to the graph of the related parabola.

In figure 1, is graphed and has vertex of and an axis of symmetry (AOS) of . Though I did not label the other two distinguishable points, you should be able to see, that the other points on parabola correspond to each other. This is because parabolas are symmetric, hence the axis of symmetry. Those points are equidistant from . Since this parabola opens upward, it has a minimum or bottom value. You get the value from the y-coordinate. The reason you use the y-coordinate is there is not bound on the Domain. Parabolas extend in the both directions along the x-axis. Because of the shape of parabola, there is a limit on the range. In this case, the range could be expressed as {y|y≥-4}.

The previous paragraph can be boiled down to identifying the AOS, vertex, points and corresponding points on the graph of a quadratic function or parabola.

En första genomlyssning har genomförts under den alltmer febriga eftermiddagen, sedermera kvällen. Det är alltid en lättnad när det står klart att ingen av de fyra (det är alltid fyra per paket) skivorna är rent ut sagt dåliga. De tre-fyra efterföljande lyssningarna blir så oerhört mycket roligare och textkonstruerandet betydligt mindre ångestfyllt.

I was looking at NOB Taniguchi’s blog and spotted this picture of his 180SX sporting a new black coat of paint. I love the red shade that all the HKS/Vertex cars have been rocking over the years, but NOB’s 180SX looks a lot meaner in black. I’m also digging those gunmetal Advan RS.

Υπάρχει μια βασιλική ανάγκη που πρέπει να αναγνωριστεί για την ανωτερότητα ενός ατόμου σε όλα τα επίπεδα. Σαν τέτοια, αυτή η θέση αντανακλά τις φαντασίες ενός παιδιού που δουλεύει τρομερά σκληρά για να το επαινέσουν και να το αγαπήσουν. Ζυγός: Στο Ζυγό βρίσκουμε την Κορυφή που επιθυμεί την ένωση των ψυχών, που είναι βασισμένη πάνω σε ένα μοντέλο αγνής ειρηνικότητας και δικαιοσύνης. Αιγόκερως: Μια Κορυφή στον Αιγόκερω σημαίνει τη μεγάλη ανάγκη για ένα σύντροφο που θα καταλαβαίνει και θα σέβεται τις δοκιμασίες και τα βάσανα που κράτησαν πολύ, καθώς και τις παρεξηγήσεις από τους άλλους που συνάντησαν στη ζωή τους. Η μοναδική ένωση θα έχει στοιχεία κοινωνικής υπόστασης και δύναμης, αλλά θα τη χειριστούν με έναν τρόπο που πάντα τους ήταν απαγορευμένος. Υπάρχει μια επιθυμία για κάθε στενή σχέση να αντανακλά την πεποίθηση για το πως πρέπει να είναι όλες οι σχέσεις προκειμένου να γίνει καλύτερος ο κόσμος. Εάν αισθάνεστε κάτι γι΄ αυτό το άτομο, δεν υπάρχει θέση για σκηνές ζήλιας και ενδιαφέροντος. Καλύτερα συναντήστε τα στα όνειρά τους και θα έχετε μια πραγματική συντροφιά στη ζωή.

Ιχθύς: Στους Ιχθείς η εσωτερική επιθυμία έχει να κάνει με την κατάσταση της ανθρωπότητας όπως αντιπροσωπεύεται στις προσωπικές σχέσεις. Με την Κορυφή εδώ, οι ανομολόγητες προοπτικές στενής σχέσης ανακατεύονται, με έναν σχεδόν μυστικό τρόπο, με την ανάγκη να ελαφρύνει τους πόνους, συνοδευόμενες με μια απερίγραπτη ικανότητα συμπόνιας. Αυτή είναι μια θέση μάρτυρα και θυσίας, σχεδόν χριστιανική στην ικανότητα να συμπάσχει με τους άλλους. Jag tycker, i min numera överanalyserande sinnesstämning, att det passar fantastiskt bra med tanke på det nya kontra det gamla Kent.

En inte lika lustig detalj är den smått usla Brett Anderson-recensionen jag skickade iväg under en av de mer pressade stunderna i mitt liv. Jag märkte det inte förrän alldeles nyligen, men vad som står i texten till allmän beskådan är ett utkast som inte var vare sig genomarbetat eller redigerat. Jag skickade helt enkelt fel version. För er som roar er med att hitta tempusfel, felaktiga låttitlar och bloggspråk kan gotta er åt eländet HÄR. Dock framgick budskapet: Skivan är fullständigt värdelös.

今回はアーバインのエルトロじゃないんだよね。場所はリバーサイドのレイク・ペリス。しかもドリフトのみ。なんでもうエルトロでやらないのかって？どっかのクソガキが全部台無しにしやがったのさ。

after sitting on his parts and waiting for new ones to come in, my friend Cheat asked me to help him finally drop his 99 SC Lexus off to the body shop for a full color change and to get his kit put on. after loading the truck up and feeling like fast and the furious we made it. i cant give out too many details just yet, but ill give you what i can. theres more than a handful of parts on the shelf for the SC and even more plans on the blueprint for the build. i have been looking forward to this build more than many of my own. im almost excited enough to wet my pants.

The Hamiltonian cycle problem is a special case of the traveling salesman problem, obtained by setting the distance between two cities to a finite constant if they are adjacent and infinity otherwise.

In the mathematical field of graph theory the Hamiltonian path problem and the Hamiltonian cycle problem are problems of determining whether a Hamiltonian path or a Hamiltonian cycle exists in a given graph (whether directed or undirected). Both problems are NP-complete. The problem of finding a Hamiltonian cycle or path is in FNP.

There is a simple relation between the two problems. The Hamiltonian path problem for graph G is equivalent to the Hamiltonian cycle problem in a graph H obtained from G by adding a new vertex and connecting it to all vertices of G.

The directed and undirected Hamiltonian cycle problems were two of Karp’s 21 NP-complete problems. Garey and Johnson showed shortly afterwards in 1974 that the directed Hamiltonian cycle problem remains NP-complete for planar graphs and the undirected Hamiltonian cycle problem remains NP-complete for cubic planar graphs.

A randomized algorithm for Hamiltonian path that is fast on most graphs is the following: Start from a random vertex, and continue if there is a neighbor not visited.

If there are no more unvisited neighbors, and the path formed isn’t Hamiltonian, pick a neighbor uniformly at random, and rotate using that neighbor as a pivot. (That is, add an edge to that neighbor, and remove one of the existing edges from that neighbor so as not to form a loop.) Then, continue the algorithm at the new end of the path.

Due to the complexity of the problem computers have to be used to solve what may seem to be minor tasks, for example to calculate the shortest route to tour the ten biggest cities in the UK over 3.5 million routes have to be analysed.

In July 2009, research published in the Journal of Biological Engineering showed that a bacterial computer can be used to solve a simple Hamiltonian path problem (using three locations).

A team of US scientists has engineered bacteria that can solve complex mathematical problems faster than anything made from silicon.

The research, published today in the Journal of Biological Engineering, proves that bacteria can be used to solve a puzzle known as the Hamiltonian Path Problem, a special case of the traveling salesman problem.

The researchers say that this proof-of-concept experiment demonstrates that bacterial computing is a new way to address NP-complete problems using the inherent advantages of genetic systems.

HUH?  It that the most awkward post title ever?  It is not as awkward as taking care of a patient who is scheduled for a C-Section because of breech positioning, prepping her, going to the OR, opening up her uterus, and LOW AND BEHOLD, there is a vertex (head down) baby nestled in the womb.  Ah shucks.  Our bad! Look how cute your baby is!  We will send in a Suit to your room as soon as possible to begin “service recovery.”  Please mark you had an “excellent” stay on your patient satisfaction survey.  Would you like a gift certificate to Target?

Yes I am being sarcastic and facetious.  Hospitals would never be as generous as to give out gift certificates to Target…… Walmart maybe.  But what about that whole, ya know, sectioning a mom for breech position when the baby is actually vertex.  That can’t possibly happen, can it?  Yes, unfortunately it can, but rarely.  I have talked to many OB nurses who have experienced this or heard about it from others.

How can this happen?  Mostly it is because of failing to do a confirmatory ultrasound for breech position before going to the OR, or misreading the confirmatory ultrasound, or letting a resident who does not know a cervix from his own name any orifice, read the confirmatory ultrasound report.

I am not here to flame medical professionals, because, ouch, I am one, and quite frankly (more fun with puns), mistakes happen.  So who out there has experience with a mom who was sectioned for a breech presentation, when the infant was actually vertex?  I am curious to know how it was handled by the staff once it was discovered, what was communicated to the patient, how the mom felt about it, etc.

Hat tip to the Enjoy Birth Blog who detailed an experience of a mom wanting a natural, vaginal delivery, only to discover that her baby was breech when she arrived at the hospital.  Enjoy Birth pondered how often this happens, and that question made me think (and yes it hurt).  It made me think about the opposite happening, about mom’s who go in for scheduled breech C-sections, only to discover the baby is vertex.  Yeah…., unless they discover it when the uterus is already cut open.

Sementara di mode edit, untuk memilih satu sudut, RMB klik pada dhuwur. Untuk memilih beberapa verticies, tahan tombol Shift sementara mengklik RMB mereka. Menyeret jendela sekitar verticies, ketik “B” kunci dan menyeret sebuah jendela untuk memilih. Mengetik “B” dua kali tombol akan membawa sebuah edaran selection tool yang dapat seukuran dengan menekan tombol “+ atau -” tombol pada nomor pad. Scrolling mouse wheel pusat akan melakukan hal yang sama dengan “+ dan -” tombol. Menekan “Esc” akan membuat Anda keluar dari lingkaran alat seleksi. Dalam rangka untuk memilih semua verticies atau batalkan pilihan yang saat ini dipilih, tekan “A” kunci (untuk semua) sekali atau dua kali.

Setiap objek yang Anda buat dalam Blender memiliki titik kecil di suatu tempat di objek (secara default, biasanya di tengah-tengah objek). Ini adalah pusat objek, atau pivot point. Pemula di Blender sering mendapatkan titik pusat ini pindah di sekitar ke poin lain selain di mana mereka ingin mereka. Hal ini terjadi karena mereka memindahkan semua objek verticies dalam mode edit, tetapi titik pusat gagal untuk bergerak. Jika Anda ingin memindahkan seluruh objek, tekan tab untuk keluar dari mode edit dan ke objek pilih modus.
