When I had toddlers my mother told me to put only a tablespoon of food at a time on their plates, otherwise, they would become overwhelmed with the sight of all that food and wouldn’t eat (it’s true).

I think that is what happened to me at Luna Bella.

The layout of the restaurant is very awkward. I felt like I was navigating a Ninja course as I followed the hostess to our booth, and when we sat down, it was as if we had a spotlight right on us (I know we are tres beautiful, but do you have to be so blatant about it?)

I must admit I was in a bit of a funk on this particular night so I am sure my perceptions are a little off. The real thing that stuck out in my mind were the portion sizes. Gary and I both commented on the size (and design) of the pasta bowls and felt completely overwhelmed when what should have been four servings of pasta placed in front of us. The design of the bowls put an image in my mind of animals being led to the feeding trough because of the tilt. Makes it easier to get a head or face up close and personal to all that food.

The restaurant does a great business. It was packed that Saturday night. I am confident the regular patrons truly believe they are getting the most bang for their buck.

However, I prefer something a little quieter, sophisticated, and a place that makes me feel like a grown up rather than an overwhelmed toddler.

Introduction Back in 2008, I began making the transition from casual music listener to full-fledged

Introduction

Back in 2008, I began making the transition from casual music listener to full-fledged audiophile. This was the year I sort of reached a sense of enlightenment and I began to reevaluate my tastes in music. I stopped listening to the radio and started listening to what I consider to be “good” music (IE anything that’s not on the radio), especially when it came to Hip-Hop, on my Zune whenever I went out. During this time, my Zune and I were inseparable. Any time I was driving, it is always plugged into the car’s stereo and set on shuffle mode and when I was a passenger, I always had my headphones on my ears, a trend that rings true to this day.

Back then, I owned a pair of Sony clip on headphones which had been decent for a while but when I made the transition to audiophile they just couldn’t cut it, especially after I picked up a pair of the full size and great sounding Sennheiser HD280 Pros. So, I had to do some shopping and eventually settled on a pair of $40 (at the time) V-Moda Bass-Freq earbuds that I managed to get from Amazon for $20. Based on reviews I’d read, these earbuds offered good sound quality while also delivering a very strong and deep bass. Being somewhat of a bass-head myself, I decided to order them based on their low price and bass-heavy sound.

After all this time, I’ve finally decided to write down my thoughts on the earbuds that have served me well over the past year and a half or so. Without any further delay, read on for my thoughts on the Bass-Freq earbuds.

Design and Build Quality

The bass-freq earbuds fall at the budget end of the densely populated IEM spectrum so it is expected that the build won’t exactly be spectacular and sure enough, it isn’t. The earbuds themselves are made entirely of plastic and come in a variety of bright and sometimes garish colors and while not the most attractive design I’ve ever seen in an IEM, they’re more appealing than some of the more utilitarian earbud designs. The plastic itself doesn’t seem the most durable but as long as you’re careful with them, they should be fine.

Another area of concern is the cable. This cable is very thin, stiff and tangles quite easily. With the cable being so thin, it doesn’t inspire much confidence in terms of long term durability. Personally, the cable lasted about a year and a couple months or so of regular usage before I began to notice some problems. Initially, I noticed a short in the cable where it terminates in the 3.5mm headphone jack. It was never too big a deal as all it did was cause a bit of distortion if I positioned it a certain way so it didn’t worry me too much but, about a week ago at the time of this writing, a second short developed directly above the y-splitter in the cable that ran into the left earbud. This completely eliminated any sound coming from the left side unless I held it just right and didn’t move. Now, I can’t stand asymmetry when it comes to headphones so this marked the end of my time listening to them. This strikes me as the type of problem that could have been prevented with a higher quality cable.

To assist in cable management, V-Moda includes what they refer to as a “Moda-wrap” which works pretty well in managing the cable. I didn’t make use of the accessory because I didn’t want to add additional clutter to my already messy pockets but in retrospect, I do wish I had made use of it, perhaps it could’ve prevented the damage done to the cable. Then again, I didn’t treat my headphones poorly so saying that I should’ve used the Moda-wrap almost sounds like I’m making excuses for the poor quality of the cable.

Cable wrapped with the Modawrap

Sound Quality

Immediately after opening the package, I proceeded to break them in on some pretty bass heavy songs and what I heard pleasantly surprised me. A lot of bass is crammed into such a small space. It was almost a bit overwhelming at first but immediately, I knew that the sound quality was much improved from the cheap Sony clip on headphones I’d been using before. There was warmth and richness to the sound that wasn’t at all present in the Sony ‘phones. Bass response is deep, heavy and full. It lends a very noticeable sensation of warmth to the sound. I wouldn’t characterize the bass as “tight” but it is satisfying, if a little bloated. Simply put, if you’re a bass-head, you’re probably going to find a lot to like here.

The highs and midrange are pretty decent as well. There’s enough treble extension to create a nice “sparkle” and sound crisp but they’re a bit sibilant at higher volumes to the point that some have called it shrill. The midrange is, again, decent at best. The problem here is that it’s almost entirely overwhelmed by the low end, making it a tad muddy and recessed. Strings sound veiled and percussion lacks necessary sharpness.

Another factor in whether or not you will enjoy these earbuds is your taste in music as the Bass-Freqs do much better with certain genres than they do with others. As expected, Rap, Hip-Hop and most Techno sound great on these earbuds, benefitting from the increased bass. Other genres such as Alternative, Classical and Rock are much weaker in comparison.

As a whole, these earbuds aren’t very clear or analytical. On the positive side, that lack of clarity means they won’t be very critical of low bitrate music files. While the lack of transparency leaves something to be desired, the low end is much better than the average inexpensive earbud which is usually too tinny or too muddy to provide any real enjoyment.

Conclusion

After some thought, I now view these as “gateway” ‘phones. They’re good enough to satisfy most listeners interested in a replacement for stock earbuds but will likely inspire many people to upgrade to something better down the line. V-Moda has a very clear idea of what market they are trying to attract with the Bass-Freqs. These are not for audio purists who desire a more realistic and transparent sound. Instead, these are “fun” earbuds designed to appeal to casual listeners. In that respect, the overall sound signature is decent enough to appeal to people who aren’t too concerned with the best quality sound and instead enjoy the warm and deep sounds of an emphasized low end.

Considering the fact that these earbuds are so inexpensive, perhaps I’m being a bit too critical. As far as $20 earbuds go, these are better than average and I could recommend them as an improvement over other, cheaper earbuds. However, even in the range of $20, there are better options and these may be worth investigating if you’re more interested in more neutral sounding and durable portable headphones.

Last week, GM, as well as other major auto makers began to offer incentives to Toyota drivers whose vehicles are part of the massive recall underway for an unintended acceleration issue. GM’s offer: a $1000 incentive to purchase or lease a GM vehicle.

I don’t agree with this strategy. It shows very little compassion for Toyota owners who are suffering from the recall, and I’d be willing to bet those GM dealers who do get some sales over this are going to severely under-value the Toyota trade-in’s they get because of the problem. In essence, that $1000 will be absorbed by the devaluation of the trade, and probably then some.

GM saw a nibble back from Karma on this one, as the Pontiac Vibe; a rebadged Toyota Matrix, is involved in the recall as well.

So how do I think GM should be handling the Toyota situation?

Offer complimentary GM rental cars to Toyota owners for the duration of their repair. All they have to do is drop their car at Toyota, walk across or down the street to a GM dealer, show the repair order for their Toyota, and receive a complimentary brand spanking new GM vehicle of the same class to use for the next couple days.

This shows compassion for the owners.

This gets them behind the wheel of a GM they might not otherwise test drive.

This will make the vehicle they borrow stick out in the customer’s head the next time they’re shopping for a vehicle.

I think its the right P.R. move. We’re not taking advantage of the situation; we’re here to help people in need.

Game-on.

It was apparent the moment we locked eyes. I had my player-swag on, spiked-hair, trademark floral patterned accessories and unmistakable pointed leather shoes. She had her game-swag on, luscious, flowing brunette hair with a pair of dazzling eyes that would set a man’s heart ablaze. I’ve seen the likes of you, I thought to myself. She’s probably seen the likes of me too, I could imagine by the way she nonchalantly turned to her friends after shooting an unforgettably coy gaze towards my direction. Tonight’s gonna be a good night

Deploying my basic Line-Of-Sight training, I placed myself in a position that was not too close, yet not too far away from her table. With the night beginning with only my Whiskey-Coke and me, my group started swelling to 4 girls, myself and my Whiskey-Coke. Within her LOS, I made merry and had fun with the girls I found myself with, occasionally shooting her a look (termed Laser Eyes) and sub-consciously inviting her to join us. Before I knew it, I see her position herself at the edge of her table, with no one on her right. This was my time.
I swagger-walked over and looked at her with a smile. She looks at me and gives me a smile in return. I say and and introduce myself and find out that her name is Eliza. After an engaging 10 minute conversation, I take Eliza to the Dance-Floor. In under 2 hours, we were in my car, on our way for hot chocolate at my place. Tonight was a good night ☺

Resistance? Not My Problem

Rarely do I meet with resistance from women in the field. This is largely due to the fact that I project a very good vibe. My vibe conveys certain things about me that I do not even have to say in words. While Swagger affects a woman’s visual perception of me, Vibe affects a woman’s emotional reaction towards me. When a man projects a good vibe to women, they will open up to him readily and his seduction will be enjoyable and effortless.
How Do I Project A Good Vibe?

The thing about vibe is that it cannot be faked. There are tons of tips on portraying good body language, smiles, eye contact etc. out there, all of which aim to eventually help a man project a certain good vibe. While all that may be helpful to a certain extent, to influence a good feeling onto someone, it really begins from inside you.

On a Macro level, there are two things that I observe : Mood and Assuredness.

Mood

Managing Your Life

If you feel that there is something that’s bugging you in your life, that there is something missing, it is not surprising to find yourself in a state of worry in a club. Manage what you have to. Even if you don’t get to the bottom of a situation, the fact that you are doing something about it will improve your mood.

Leave Your Troubles At Home

When it comes to Mood, I always stress leaving my troubles at home. Be it stress from work, an argument I had earlier in the day etc, I never bring it with me to the club. A club is not the place to showcase your depression and doing that is pretty much social suicide.

Fun

In the past, clubs used to freak me out. I used to get nervous, wondering if I am dressed right, if I am going to meet a girl… basically, my mind was always all over the place. At the end of the day, it definitely wasn’t a fun experience for me. These days, I go out thinking, “Tonight, I am going to seize any opportunity for fun that I get.” That is all I think about and it always promised me a night to remember.
As a fan of hip-hop and R&B, I always tune in to my favourite clubbing music (anyone say PITBULL?!) to psyche myself up for the night. This usually gets me in the zone really quick.

Assuredness

Logistics

In the words of my good friend, Julian “The German Falcon”, I strongly believe that logistics is almost 70% of the Game. Once you have your logistics down to a T, you will leave home with what I like to call “The Walk Of Game”. People will see this from your swagger and feel it from your vibe. Based on your high-level awareness, your logistics will be covered with zero loopholes and you will feel an amazing sense of confidence from being in control.

Awareness

When you understand the dynamics of the club and are aware that you are the 24/7 Attractive Man, you will be over-flowing with confidence. Knowing that you have a solid Macro Plan and killer Leading skills (in conversation, the Dance-floor, on a date etc.) will give you a sense of confidence that will in turn make you project the Vibe of a Champion.

Experience & Practice

For obvious reasons, gaining experience and practicing your skill-sets to accomplish certain goals in the field is going to help you immensely. After you accomplish your goals successfully, you are going to attain a higher-level of confidence that will be projected through your vibe.

Alright, on a Micro-level, TDD has developed “The 4 Vibes” concept which gives a comprehensive solution to what to do on a Micro-level. When you convey traits through single/multiple use of The 4 Vibes (Fun, Dominant, Charismatic, Sexual), you will affect a woman in such a way that she will want to see more of you. Check out the TDD Wiki for more info on the 4-vibes.

Vibe of a Champion, y’all!

Alright so I am leaving for Spain in 4 hours and will be doing some TDD Awareness Movement in Bangkok, Thailand, Madrid & Valencia, Spain. If you are in any of these countries and would like more information, drop me an e-mail right now. Otherwise, see all of you in 2 weeks!

Live and Love,

Did you ever hear a great speaker and become so energized that all you wanted to do was to get out there and “run” armed with your new knowledge?

We had a lunch like that today. Our three owners of Jazz Business Consulting had lunch with a man we have respected and admired for many years, Sam Beler. Sam is a wildly successful business man with a passion for God and his lost people with almost an equal passion for Jazz music. Last year, as the Executive Producer for Unity Music (his side job), he orchestrated a Johnny Cash-like concert with Jamie Davis and some guys from the Count Basie Orchestra to be held at Angola Prison. This prison was at one time known as the most violent prison in the country. However; under the direction of a new warden, the prison has experienced an amazing transformation in the last 15 years. This is another story of great leadership….but back to our lunch.

Originally we invited our friend Sam to lunch to give us experienced and wise counsel in launching our new business. He asked great questions and had each of us explain what we do. Although we only were able to share slices of how our team goes in and works with leadership teams to transform the culture of organizations, Sam kept coming up with ideas on how he could help us build our company and connect us with quality people so that we could help them. Sam loves our tag line of “Change that creates great Vibe!” We loved his enthusiasm.

I asked Sam what were the things he did right in his early years of business building. He named three key things:

He didn’t build his company alone. He started with a great partnership with a quality man…Check! I’ve got Yvonne and Roger.

He built a company that was totally focused on serving clients. Check…Isn’t that a given? “No,” says Sam. “So many organizations focus on selfish motives, agendas and greed! Look at Wall Street.” Note: Sam’s company is an investment firm (PTLA) who grew substantially last year. Trust me, it has everything to do with his integrity, people skills and what he calls, “the Lord’s Favor.”

Care deeply about your people (employees, friends and clients and family). Be there when they need you. Your life scars are what give you the ability to serve your people with genuine heart. Be there when they experience life’s tragedies. And be there when you can support the growth of their dreams…Observation: wasn’t that exactly what he was doing for us?

Wow…in a nutshell. The observations of a wise, loving, smart, genuine and caring man. A man whose life had been an accumulation of experiences lived within the framework of the 3 keys above. A wealthy man, wealthy in family, many many friends, wealthy in the amount of respect he had from people all over the world….and richly wealthy in the size of his heart and the amount of generosity he shows in every opportunity he gets.

All three of us left that lunch knowing we had experienced a “kairos moment.” (a life changing moment). It isn’t often we get to sit at the feet of wise counsel and have someone speak into our personal and work lives this way. We also know that the greatest way we could honor that moment, was to allow it to change us, to shape our outlook and perspective on what is most important. And then to live out the lessons we had learned.

Thank you Sam….Thank you for your kindness and for sharing yourself the way you did today. None of us took it for granted as just another business lunch. It truly had life changing implications. Sam…you’re the best!

Nathan Filby (aka Motoe Blizzid) claims T.I. stole his Grammy Award-winning song “What You Know.” Filby is represented by One LLP and claims the 2006 track contains portions of a 2004 song he made called “Reverence.”

According to Vibe, Filby claims the track was delivered to a number of industry insiders before reaching a representative at Relentless Management, a company that reportedly works with T.I. One LLP and Filby are claiming in court documents that the tracks contain the “same harmonic” range. They’ve even gone so far as to have lawyers present documents that show an algorithm that claims to show the song’s similarities scientifically.

Filby is allegedly seeking a trial by jury in hopes of winning all profits derived from the song, which was featured on T.I.’s album King.

T.I. is still in a halfway house after serving nearly 8 months in a low security prison, after he was caught purchasing machine guns and silencers in October of 2008.

What do you think? Is this just another frivolous copyright lawsuit almost all artists face?

What up guys!

Alright, so this is the video that I talked about last week. In it, you get to hear success stories of some of my Alumni here in Singapore. In it, you will also learn some valuable lessons on Macro Planning, Leading, Power-Logistics and also why I am kinda jealous of Wilson, The Asian James Bond.

Alright, I would also like to share an educational Lay Report with you folks. I have a huge backlog of reports so if any of you are interested in reading them, let me know and I will give you instructions on how to access them.

Masterclass Lay Report : The Belle Rings

As if the night couldn’t get any more explosive. Just hours before this, I was with Whoozy, Val, JirQUEST, going around the club and just being the life of the party that night. From our audacious “Walk The Red Carpet” challenges, where we got chicks to cheer and salute us as we walked down a red carpet inside the club, to the Dancefloor Game moment where random people started pushing aside chairs and tables, whipping out cameras just to record possibly the most exciting, sexually-charged dance they will ever see by 2 random strangers. Not gonna lie, I was exhausted by then and after de-briefing the Masterclass at 3am in the morning, I began to make my way over to my ride.

The 24/7 Attractive Man is a state of BEING. Even after the class, everything from the way I walk and talk communicates masculine attraction to the women around me.

“No one on the corner got a Swagger like us.”

As I Swagger-Walked my way over to my ride, I was doing the usual returning of smiles and eye-contact to the women around me. As I walked past the taxi-stand at Clarke Quay, I spotted a girl checking me out within my Line-Of-Sight. As usual, I turned to face her to return the eye-contact. The next few seconds were a moment I would never forget. In fact, every time I think of this moment, I cannot help but smile.

In front of me stood a 1.7m tall beauty. She had the most enchanting eyes which held a hint of excitement. She had a body with curves that I believe hour-glasses were moulded after, hidden under an electrifying blue dress which did nothing to hide those killer curves. Her classy white clutch bag went hand-in-hand with her white heels, which supported a pair of toned and tanned legs which I had trouble peeling my eyes off. But… all that excitement turned to shock the moment her pretty face cringed in horror. And my shock turned to horror when I realized it too…

“Oh my god!”, she exclaimed.

“DAMN!”, I exclaimed.

Immediately, she came over to give me a hug.

It all made perfect sense now. She was G, School Belle back in primary school. The one I had a crush on but never in my wildest dreams would I even imagine having a conversation with.

As We Say In TDD, GAME-ON

A little history here. Back in my primary school days (7-12 years old), I was obese. I was probably the official mascot of the TAF Club (a club where overweight kids were forced to gather twice a week to exercise) and at the prime of my primary school life, probably had less than zero girls ever mentioning me in their list of crushes. But I was well-known as THE fat-kid.

To some, the fact that she hugged me immediately might be surprising, since we never spoke a word to each other in primary school. But it makes perfect sense. Allow me to explain.

Everyone knew me as the fat-kid but thanks to Facebook, all my primary school mates were able to see the present me. I know for a fact that at this point in time, I am way ahead in life compare to most of my peers. The fact that she was so into me from the get-go goes to show that my virtual Line-Of-Sight was on point. It is not foolish to say that these girls from primary school were checking me out on Facebook and obviously G, the school belle, was one of them. I am actually AWARE that one day, when I eventually meet these women, I would’ve conveyed many winning qualities to them and that dating them after that would not be much of an issue.

It was 3a.m, I didn’t want to waste my time and hers. I had a Game-Plan set up in my mind in seconds. I told her, “Ya know what, the night is still young, we should celebrate our little reunion.” Saying this with my TDD-styled sexual non-verbals was a killer move. She immediately agreed and in about approximately 3 minutes, we were walking to my ride. We stopped by a petrol kiosk on the way to our reunion at my place (;-)) to grab some snacks and within 40 minutes, we were seated in my living room.

As I prepared us some Martel + Coke, we had a pretty sexually charged conversation.

Me : This has got to be the most successful reunion ever, everyone on the guest list turned up.

G : Haha yea, and we are the life of the party!

Me : Cheers to that!

Me : Ya know, a 2-person reunion is actually pretty suggestive.

G : Yea I know right, like, what are people gonna think? haha…

Me : Yea, it’s like even if we don’t have sex, people are not gonna believe us.

G : Haha exactly!

Me : But still, I want to keep my virginity tonight so…

G : OMG shut up, you are SO not a virgin!!! (she starts to hit me now)

Me : Hey, hey, you don’t even know me that well. Though it’s strange, I feel like we’ve known each other for a long time now.

G : Yea me too…

Me : I actually feel like we’re a couple now.

I put my arm around her and give her a kiss on her head and say :

Me : Baby, I did the drinks, so you’re gonna do the cleaning up after this, okay?

G : Haha you jerk, go away, I want to break-up with you!

I slide my hands down and wrap both arms around her, pretending to coax her.

Me : But baby, please… I worked so hard this week… and I still had sex with you when I had a headache…

G : Hahahaha… oh my god… you’re crazy…

Me : Haha… *sexual vibe* a little…

G : umm hmm… *She’s giving me the triangular gaze now*

Me : *licks lips* umm hmm…

If you thought we made out after that, give yourself a high-five.

So after making out for a bit, I pulled back and said I was thirsty. So we drank a little more and caught up a bit. She began playfully hitting me a lot more and I switched to couple mode from time to time. At one point, we made out and I carried her to my room. As we began to rip our clothes off, her phone started ringing. In my experience, there was no way a girl would answer the phone, unless it was someone or something important. She jumped off my bed and went to her phone, cursed and picked it up.

Borefriend Drama

All this while, I realised that I forgot to ask if she had a boyfriend. Well, no biggie, I found out anyway. Even if she had one, there was no way I was gonna back down since my GUT told me it was Game-On. So she quarreled with her Boyfriend over the phone after she said she was at the house of a MALE primary school friend she met at Clarke Quay. When she put down her phone, she turned to me sadly and told me that she had to go back home and because her boyfriend demanded that she dial him with her home line.

I buckled up my belt again and put on my shirt, grabbed a bag and threw in my alcohol shaker and a bottle of VSOP. She asked me what I was doing and I said, “I accept your invitation to continue this party at your place ” She laughed real hard and came over to kiss me. So off we went to her place.

Wait-for-it…

Every time I am out partying or on a date, before I leave, I will always slip in some music that conveys personality traits about me. I am all about John Legend and John Mayer, so most of my car-rides are moments where I showcase my charismatic side. I sing and talk about how the songs make me feel, which is a classic display of contrast and harmony (like a big-picture Double-Relate). So I am putting on songs like “Greenlight”, “No Other Love”, “Slow Dance”, “P.D.A” by John Legend and building the sexual vibe.

By the time we got to her place, we were holding hands like a couple. We head straight for the room and she tells me she’s gonna call her BOREfriend. As she waits for her BOREfriend to pick up the phone, I wrap my arms around her from behind and start kissing her ears. She’s feeling it and she starts to run her hand through my hair. As I slowly slipped her dress down, her BOREfriend picks up. She is suddenly startled but I start kissing and nibbling on her neck and she gets back into the zone.

I can overhear her BOREfriend being pissed at her. She is (obviously) all calm over her, as I un-did her bra and began rubbing her breasts. I also pull her close, letting her feel “The Stone” against her ass. I push her against a wall and start to grind up against her. She is totally feeling it and I can still hear her BOREfriend scolding her. She is listening with her eyes closed, just going “Um hmm… Yea…” on the phone from time to time. I then lead her to a chair and sat her on my lap as I sucked on her nipples. She goes a little crazy now and I guess her BOREfriend is asking her what she’s up to because she says, “OHH… oh… nothing… go on, sorry…”.

I whispered into her ear and asked her to tell her boyfriend she is going to lie down. This makes her anticipate what I am going to do next. When she lies down, I started to un-do my pants and she is on the verge of bursting into laughter now. Before I could start on my underwear, she pulls it down, grabs my cock and starts sucking on it, occasionally going “umm… umm hmm…” to her very pissed off BOREfriend. She obviously wasn’t doing a good job because I think finally, the giggling and sucking sounds got to her BOREfriend because she had to explain (or rather, lie about) the events of the night to him. This was the moment I stripped her naked and started having sex with her.

2 minutes in, she told her boyfriend she had to go to the bathroom and that she would call him back. I made sure she did 30 minutes later after some serious post-sexual-repression sex before I left for breakfast

Lessons to be Learnt :

- Do not doubt the powers of CONVEYANCE that your Facebook profile has. I have said many times that I truly believe that I could get laid based on my Facebook profile and I am not kidding. This is a stellar example right here.

Convey the life of the 24/7 Attractive Man and after that, it’s all about leading her through your Game Plan.

- Game Plan. In the words of Troy “Papa Falcon” Dizon : “Without a Game Plan, you will not get the girl.“

Your Game Plan is so important. I credit much of this event to the fact that I had a solid Game Plan in fact, which made it so easy. I also believe that once you have a solid game plan that you BELIEVE IN and ENJOY, things become easier and a lot more enjoyable.

- Leading. The reason why I made it all happen in such a short time is because I lead G through my Game Plan very confidently. When I had a solid Game Plan in check, it helped me stay in control of the situation so I was never nervous or unsure throughout the night. I was supremely confident, which was another turn-on for her.

I also deployed heavy and concise Foreshadowing, which was effective because it involved G and I moving progressively through the night. This built anticipation within her, which resulted in a mind-blowing night.

- Look through your primary/elementary, secondarly/high school networks TODAY! Haha.

Alright people, hope you learned something from this, good times ahead!

The Pontiac Vibe has been included in Toyota’s sticking accelerator recall that has affected more than 2.3 million vehicles in the US.

The Vibe crossover is the sister car to the Toyota Matrix and is engineered and built in California by Toyota.

General Motors spokesman, Alan Adler, said his company had not received any complaints about the 2009-2010 Vibe’s accelerator pedals sticking, but said it was now arranging for the recall work to be performed at GMC and Buick dealerships.

“We didn’t manufacture it, but we sell it, so we have a responsibility to make sure that Pontiac customers are taken care of,” he said.

The Vibe/Matrix was one part of the New United Motor Manufacturing Inc joint venture between GM and Toyota that ended after GM’s bankruptcy last year.

Meanwhile, Toyota is investigating a number of solutions to the sticking accelerator issue, which is now known to be caused by a device that controls the pedal’s return to idling position after being pressed to the floor. Toyota says it is caused by faulty pedal design by supplier, CTS Corp.

Toyota is looking at better pedal lubrication and re-engineering the faulty pedals, the latter option expected to take a significant amount of time to execute.

The Basics:

This plastic toy is The Leopard Massager by Adam & Eve. As you can see it is designed with leopard print. The dimensions are 6.5″ by 1.5″.

The Pros:

Waterproof

Compatible with any lube

Easy to sanitize

Size is discreet

Easily Changeable Batteries

The Cons:

Takes two C batteries which is not common.

Too loud

Batteries seem loose

Thevibrations are not that strong

Personal Experience:

The leopardprint is what initially drew me into purchasing this vibrator. Being that this was the first vibrator I have ever bought, I couldn’t wait to get home to try this baby out. With no expectations in mind, I curled up into my bed and started to play. The first time we touched was amazing. The light vibrations felt awesome on my clit as it sent jolts through my legs. Upon insertion, I came (or didn’t come) to the realization that plastic doesn’t really have the warmth that a cock does; in fact, it’s just too fuckin cold. Because it’s cold, I use this mostly externally, but I bet a toy warmer would be really helpful.

You girls (and boys?!?) totally rock!

See them ull in the various page categories.

Here’s a sample, though!

While the Mini-Miracle Massager might not really perform miracles, it is pretty spectacular on its own. Designed much like the Hitachi Magic Wand, the Miracle
Massager is a more affordable version for those of us who can’t afford to spend
hundreds of dollars on toys.

Mini Miracle Massager

There are two versions of the Mini-Miracle Massager: battery-powered and electric.
The battery-powered massager is multi-speed and waterproof and can be taken into
the tub, but it’s not as strong as its plugged-in counterpart and has a straight, rather
than curved, handle. The electric massager is for use on dry land only, but it’s pretty powerful, even with only two speeds.

——————————(more)———————————–

The suction cups are really strong, but they don’t lock into place, so with enough tugging, you can pull them free. They’ll stand up to a lot, though, and even our 250-pound assistant had to work hard to pull them free. Chances are you won’t be struggling to get free, however, so you shouldn’t have any trouble keeping the cuffs in place while you play.

The neoprene and velcro dries out quickly, so you don’t have to worry about any
water damage. And the neoprene is soft against your wrists, so it won’t do any
damage to you, either.

Shower Cuffs

If you’ve ever wanted to get kinky in every room of the house, this is your ticket. Now there really are no limits to the fun you can have without leaving the house.

————————-(MORE)———————————-

We jumped for joy when we
received the Alumina Revolve, one of four dildos in Tantus’s new line of aluminum
probes.

TANTUS ALUMINA RESOLVE

The eight-ounce dildo is eight inches long and has two uniquely fuckable ends. One
end has a 1.25” bulb at the end, great for vaginal penetration and kegel’s exercises. The other end features three graduated orbs that can be used vaginally, for an enjoyably bumpy ride, or anally, to stretch your sphincter and warm you up for further anal play.

What up people,

Indeed, this is the article that all of you have been waiting for and I am excited to finally release it!

Below is a foundational article, Stop Playing The Reactive Game! I personally feel that this is gonna be a truly ground-breaking article because the truth is, most of the guys out there are playing the reactive game. Basically, if you find yourself in a position where you have to constantly look out for signs of interest from a girl, or find yourself generally uncertain about a specific interaction/seduction, this is a MUST-READ article for you.

Stop playing her Game, let her play YOUR Game

Date & Time : 10th January 2010, 0100 Hours

Scene of the Crime : St. James Power Station

Mugshot

My heart was thumping. The heavy rhythm of my pulse was beating relentlessly against my body as the exhilaration of the moment finally hit me. I felt a pat on my back after burning down the Dance-floor with textbook TDD Dance game. It was from a guy named Nicholas, who I met earlier while in the midst of Social Domination. He invited me to his table for a drink and I was only too happy to oblige. At his table were some allies from earlier on in the night and we started talking about how the night was going. I then asked them how the ladies were treating them that night and it turns out that they had zero action. I told them that this was unacceptable and they agreed. I asked them to start by introducing themselves to the table next to them. They immediately freeze-up and after a while, figured that “It is not the right time yet.”

In a split-second, visions of me single-handedly wiping out a posse of coaches from a now de-funct (I’d like to think, DESTROYED) Pick-Up Artist (PUA) school flashed through my mind. They were looking for signals of interest, they were playing the Reactive Game. Because I play the Game on my own terms, needless to say, I dominated the group in approximately 5 minutes and had the women fighting to drink with me. P.S It never gets old

Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to point out one of the biggest (and stupidest) fallacies of PUA-logic : The concept of Indicators-Of-Interest (IOIs).

Basing your game upon signs of attraction from women is WEAK. Many claim to know everything about attraction but the truth is, if you are truly attractive, people will be the ones trying to pick up these signs from you. If you are playing the game according to how the woman reacts, you are in for a shit-load of fruitless field-experiences. Especially if you are Asian, you will know very well that a lot of Asian girls generally do not give off these signals. I know this because I come from Singapore, where the culture is primarily conservative-Asian. This situation I described is based on my own personal experiences in the past and it frustrates me to see my dating choices limited only to outgoing girls. When it came to beautiful and demure girls, or hot ice-queens, I always seemed to have no chance at all with them.

Well, that is until I started playing the game on my own terms.

At TDD, what we teach you will transform you into a FORCE OF NATURE. With unwavering assuredness and confidence in yourself, built upon on REAL credibility, plus calibrated amounts of Dominance, Charisma, Fun and Sexuality (see “The 4 Vibes” Technique at the TDD Wiki), you will give off a vibe and presence that women and people cannot help but gravitate towards. We simply do not need to play the Reactive Game and look for signs. We play the game on our own terms and see the Women start putting the moves on us!

Okay Xav, So How Do We Begin To Play Our Game?

You will need 2 things :

1) A Comprehensive Game Plan

2) Good Leading Skills

Trust me on this guys, once you build a solid game plan and master the art of Leading, the consistency of your results will be incredible.

Game Plan

Building a comprehensive Game Plan is something that requires a dedicated post in itself. This is something that we explain in explicit detail during our Private Instruction and Masterclass programs.

I am going to drop a Golden Nugget for you guys today so listen up. A comprehensive Game Plan covers both the Macro (big-picture) and Micro (situation-specific) level elements of your seduction. It allows for you to KNOW the next step in the seduction, which allows you to be in control. This is why TDD guys have pretty much ZERO experience with nervousness and anxiety. We KNOW what’s next, we are in control. That is how we get our legendary confidence.

When it comes to building a comprehensive Game Plan, the key lies in your level of AWARENESS. High-level Awareness will enable you to construct a Game Plan that will be pretty much rejection-proof. Another benefit is that building your Game Plan with a high-level of Awareness will also draw your niche of women towards you effortlessly. This is why you see consistent success in the dating lives of many TDD students. We have a Game Plan that works especially well on the kinda women we like the most because we take the steps to ensure our success!

Awareness is built through knowledge and experiences in social and romantic situations. TDD has identified four elements that enable a person to develop razor-sharp awareness in attracting women :

1) Awareness of Self

2) Awareness of the Dynamics between Males and Females

3) Awareness of Culture and Social Environment

4) Awareness of Lifestyle

I have written a post purely on building a Game Plan just for you guys, stay tuned for that. Now, I want to talk about part II of this article : Leading.

Leading

This is one of the most important skills of TDD. Like I said, once you get these 2 things down, you are in for A Life To Love. When it comes to the skill of leading, TDD uses the art of “Foreshadowing” to lead a woman from the meet all the way up to the bedroom.

The Key to Effective Escalation is PROGRESSION. Foreshadowing sets precedence and allows for steady progression, thus eliminating resistance. In fact, as any of our alumni will tell you, it builds anticipation within a woman, which has been the reason why a lot of men who pass through our doors usually report about getting somewhat “raped” by women.

Dominant Proximity Lead on The Dance-Floor

But perhaps one of the most important parts of leading is attaining the confidence to CLOSE, or pull the trigger (going for the hand, kiss, sex). Relying on a “routine” or technique is more of a crutch than anything. Fact: Interactions are dynamic, no two situations are the same. Anything can happen. Instead of helplessly hoping for a moment to unfold in a certain magical way, it is infinitely better to UNDERSTAND how to create a high-point for yourself and gain REAL confidence to pull the trigger when the time is right. I adopt a certain mindset which pretty much guarantees that I pull the trigger without hesitation. This is the mindset of Keeping Things Simple.

A lot of times, we get nervous, anxious, excited when it comes to pulling the trigger. We worry about what happened in the past, what might happen in the future… we might even worry about some really ridiculous and irrelevant things! This is all just mental noise that distracts you from your goal. It is your ego speaking to you. The most important question is : What Do YOU want?

It’s pretty simple actually, you either want something, or you don’t. If you want to move on but find yourself peeling away from it, it goes to show that you still want it. Most people are half-assed when it comes to dating. They want conditions to be PERFECT and are afraid of setting a goal to get a girl and failing. They play it safe. To these people, I will ask, “Does a confident person really need to play it so safely?”

Relying on external conditions instead of yourself will only hurt you in the long run. Also, looking out for signals (which may never come!) and what not are only superficial solutions to deep-seeded problems. They worry too much about unnecessary things that sometimes, they even sabotage a genuinely decent seduction. I have heard women complain so many times about how much they actually liked a certain guy very much but he never manned-up…

Someone has to take the lead. It is not the risk-adverse who win the most, it is the Risk-Takers. The leader is often the person who is most SURE about his direction. It is the same thing in the world of dating. A woman doesn’t need to know EXACTLY what’s next, she just needs to feel that YOU know and that she can trust in you. That is why leading is truly the most important skill-set. If you want to kiss her and your gut tells you it’s the right time, go for it! If you say the night is still young and she isn’t disagreeing, take her to your place for drinks and chocolate!

And here’s a blinding flash of the obvious to top it all off : women don’t expect a PERFECT man. Make your move. If she pulls away after that, well, the message is clear to you, SHE’S NOT INTO YOU, save yourself and her some time! BUT if the girl likes you at all, she wouldn’t make a big deal out of it. In fact, if you follow the TDD lessons and played your game well, she will be eagerly anticipating your escalation!

TDD-trained men know this all too well, which is why when we have a solid Game Plan and our legendary leading skills, it is literally GAME-OVER. It’s no more about whether success will come to us or not, it’s only a matter of WHEN.

Now this, dear readers, is how TDD rolls.

Get the fuck out of Pick-Up 1.0 and take over the world with TDD today!

Live and Love,

Rap beef is so last decade. Nowadays, unless there are some real issues behind it, it all seems wack. It doesn’t work for 50 any more, and it’s not getting a rise out of Jay to hear Beanie going at him. Why even go there in 2010?

Why? The media loves it. The media loves to get us excited over potential lyrical battles. There is nothing wrong with diss records and battles…if they are legitimate.

The whole “East vs. West” beef from the late 90s was driven by the media. We all ate it up and chose sides. Magazines like the Source and Vibe kept feeding us till the shit got out of control. Now, on the dawn of another decade, here comes the gas can again.

Complex.com has an blog called “Shots Fired” that will, without a doubt, bring the trolls out. It’s not that there isn’t alot of truth to what’s being said, it’s just that it’s going to open a lot of old wounds. Shit, it’s gonna open some new ones too (for those who didn’t catch the lines).

Some lines are obvious and others can be interpreted to mean different things. Jay-Z hasn’t signed off to say, “hey, this line is about him and that line is about him”. This is just something that’s going to get the blogs, gossip radio host, and hip-hop sites going.

Sad enough, we’ll be the ones to help it get out of control. Luckily for the respect of the game, Jay-Z will not respond to anyone who might get upset at this. I think he’s moved pass that (or at least trying). Maybe this blog will just be a blip on the radar and nothing more.

It’s an interesting blog, but there are far more better things to talk about.

The drive up to the Ritz Carlton is one of many things that are right about this new Tucson resort which just opened it’s doors a few months ago. The winding road with the artfully landscaped median sets the stage for the low slung, organic façade of the resort.

Once inside the organic vibe continues with the slabs of giant sandstone for the floors, the low ribbed ceilings, and the patio with the cushy couches, fire pits, and the views of the mountains. Gary and I had reservations at the Core Kitchen but arrived a little early so that we may peruse the kingdom and revel in its majesty.

Once seated in the main dining room downstairs we took a few minutes to look over the restaurant and I was so impressed the attentions to every detail, down to the flower arrangement on the table, the design of the entire facility is well thought and intentioned. Our server, Aaron, and his assistant (Josh, we think), were professional, and took control with their not too overly friendly service and demeanor.

The food is absolutely perfect. I ordered the sea bass and felt so surprised by the portion size, perfect. The fish was firm and fresh and cooked just right with the right amount of reduction sauce (no swimming fish this time).

We took our time finishing our coffee and when walking up the staircase to the lobby decided to take a detour and finish our tour of the facility. Hope we weren’t too much trouble.

After another drink on the patio we decided to make the drive home. Such a great and fun night. Hope to visit again soon!

January 18, 2010 by Gary Tibljas

The Ritz-Carlton opened its doors last month at the base of the Tortolita Mountains of Dove Mountain. This refined, “boutique” desert oasis, reflects so well, our local landscape and culture, featuring natural elements of dark Mesquite woods, richly-hued fabrics, light stones and a taste of Southwestern flair.

A distant second to spending time with Leslie, is my love of golf. Over the past year, I have had the pleasure of experiencing Jack Nicklaus’s wonderful golf course creations surrounding the resort, so the official unveiling of the hotel could not come soon enough for me!

We selected the Core Kitchen & Wine Bar, the signature restaurant at the hotel this Saturday evening. To say it was a good choice is an understatement. The ambiance, menu and staff were exceptional. Our servers, Aaron and Josh were very attentive and professional and made our evening memorable.

We began the evening by announcing to Aaron that we were going to enjoy our martinis prior to ordering and he afforded us a nice balance of privacy and attention that we so enjoy in a restaurant. Around 9PM, we decided on our entrees. Leslie selected the Sea Bass, Shrimp Fried Rice, Tempura Herbs, Ancho-Lobster Broth and, I the Fillet of Beef, Smoked Potatoes, Trumpet Mushrooms, King Crab Cocktail, Horseradish Cream, Red Wine Reduction. The preparation, presentation and portions could not have been more perfect.

The Chef de Cuisine, Joel Harrington stopped by our table to introduce himself and visit with us, nice touch! Around 11PM, we were, again, the only patrons remaining, so we paid the bill and thanked everyone for a great dining experience.

Being Tucson’s consummate night owls, we elected to take a “self guided” tour of the hotel (hope the security cameras were off!) and then return to the Ignite Lounge and Bar in the main level for a night cap. We were served outside at our carefully selected, comfy couch, as we basked in the warmth of the flame from the fire pit. What a beautiful evening.

Do yourself a favor. Visit the Ritz-Carlton at Dove Mountain. This is the way it should be. We enjoyed it so much, we decided that we are going to make a “24 hour day” of it soon, by booking a room for the night and not driving home until Sunday afternoon!

What up people!

Happy New Year to everyone! I would like to kick off my first post of 2010 with a mini-celebration from one of our TDD guys from this part of the globe. I would like very much to congratulate one of our Malay TDD alumni, Eziq, who released a fantastic lifestyle video months after his program with TDD. All his effort put in to building his version of the 24/7 Attractive Man has seen him build the kind of universally attractive lifestyle.

Big things to look forward to for TDD enthusiasts from Singapore and Asia. I just completed my article with HerWorld magazine today. Here’s some background information : HerWorld magazine is the most widely read and distributed women’s magazine in Singapore, with a circulation of over 100,000 copies a month. In the March 2010 issue, the writer of my article has approached the topic of Dating Coaches from the most interesting angle I have personally come across so far.

To give you guys the short script, I took one of their feature writers out on a TDD-styled date and she was tasked to rate how it went. I also explained in detail, a lot of the TDD philosophies and beliefs. Readers can expect to be educated and enriched through this article. One can learn a lot about creating a solid game plan as well as some very effective lessons one can implement immediately. If you want to find out the juicy details of the date and see further proof that I am pretty much clueless when it comes to taking good pictures, be sure to check out the March issue of HerWorld magazine, Troy Dizon Dating and A Life To Love!

More QUALITY media content!

I am very, very excited to share this with you, dear reader. The next few weeks on A Life To Love would be the most exciting weeks yet. You can look forward to a few videos I am in the midst of editing. First up would be the TDD Singapore Crew video, which will showcase the stuff our crew is up to in the day time as well as the night time. You will also get to hear success stories of our crew mates, with one outrageous story which got me envious. I won’t spoil it for y’all but to give you an idea of what to expect, he had the most amazing Christmas NIGHT involving a Japanese woman he met on the streets of Singapore, who is a Google-Page 1 Entrepreneur. Stay tuned for that!

Coming up in a few weeks will also be one of the most insane dancefloor game videos you will ever see. You see me move in from the approach all the way to ridiculous levels of escalation, all in a matter of seconds. To get an idea of how this good this video this, it made Troy virtually speechless, which is pretty much unheard of. All this on a FREE video, just because we love you guys so much haha. You are bound to learn a couple of never-seen-on-film dance moves, as well as the unveiling of my trademark move, “The Hidden Chair“. This will be part of my TDD Instructor highlight reel, which I will be completing within the next week. In it, you get a glimpse of how I am like as a person. It is a no-holds-barred video of my life in the day and night, the activities I like to indulge in, the kind of dates I go on and the way I roll in a club. It is my presentation of the 24/7 Attractive Man. I am psyched to present it to you guys and if you share the excitement, be sure to stay tuned to my site and TDDTV.com!

As of now, I have updated the program forecast on the right side of this page. I have just completed my first PI of the year with a new presentation of my TDD lessons, which proved to be a mega-hit, as shown here :

The Trademark "TDD Taunt" captured!

Once again, the available dates are there. Click on the links or drop me an e-mail at xav@troydizondating.com or better yet, Skype me (xavierrrr) to lockdown a slot today!

Alright people, exciting things to come. 2010 is going to see a big, big increase in media content from the TDD Singapore Crew and myself, this is my promise to you guys for making 2009 such a great year for me. I’ll talk to you guys soon!

Flemings is not only the best steak house in Tucson but it is also one of the few restaurants designed to allow their patrons to be seen while making a entrance or exit. When I wear just the right dress I feel that I am on the runway while being led to our table at Flemings. So fun.

The meal is always the same, (nothing better than consistency), and the service is swift without being overly upset or cautious about our behaviour. I was a bit confused when our original server was replaced by a look-alike blond, and then she was replaced by a look-alike blond. I think their names were even similar. We ended up with Kevan, who with her level of maturity, didn’t mind us going back and forth, and keeping her stuck after shift for a few extra minutes while we finished our coffee.

I ordered the seared tuna for a starter and really one of my favorites and for entrees both Gary and I ordered the petite filet; it being just the right portion size and cooked perfectly.

One can’t beat the vibe and the food at Flemings. Rarely is there a disappointment.

January 13, 2010 by Gary Tibljas

After dressing down for a casual dinner last week, Leslie and I certainly could not be found on the dinner scene two weeks in a row in jeans! With our reputations at stake, I selected one of my favorite black suits and Leslie, a stunning, “boobalicious” black dress with black stilettos.

Fleming’s was our dinner choice this Saturday evening. Upon our arrival, we had a short wait to secure a nice perimeter booth, so we ordered our martinis and chilled at the bar. While being escorted to our table, eyes were certainly on the couple who always look awesome together….especially in black!

The requisite second round martinis were ordered with our first server and before finishing, a second server introduced herself as ours for the evening. We informed her that we were going to be there for awhile and she appeared cool with such. Did not see much of her after that. Then our FINAL server of the evening, Kevan, introduced herself and did a very nice job taking care of us.

As an appetizer, we ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna…..fabulous! I determined such, unfortunately, after only one bite, as the dish was laden with black pepper. Can’t do it…..allergic! So, Les had to reluctantly go it alone. She thought it was superb as well. Medium rare, Petite Fillet Mignon was the choice for the both of us. Excellent.

By the time we ordered our coffee around 11PM, we were essentially the only ones left in the dining room. The check was delivered to our table and Kevan took the valet ticket and was on her way to retrieve the keys to the barge. She and the staff had reason for optimism when they observed the two of us heading towards the exit. Kevan said “here are your keys…thanks for coming!” I informed her that we were going to freshen up then return to the table to finish our coffee. “Oh, OK” she said!

We finally wrapped up the evening. Even with the “who’s your server” contest going on, Fleming’s is right there as for being the “Numere Uno” steakhouse in Tucson!

Tonight I finished the cave/vibe room. I guess by finished I mean inhabitable. There are still a lot of things I would like to do but I am happy to be able to have an established place to write and generally be creative.

I’ve spent the last who knows how long trying to figure out why I’m not happy. I’ve spent all this time searching only to find out I was looking at it all the wrong way. It’s like a magic eye picture; it’s all in how you look at it. I was looking at it as “I’m unhappy, why?” instead of looking at it as “this is what makes me happy, let’s run with it.” I was ignoring the good and only seeing the bad. I realized this the other night at Davin’s, how powerful peace is. It’s so interesting. After trying to apply and follow the teachings of the Buddha it’s like it all clicked. This is what calm is. This is letting go even if it is only for a moment.

This has been one of the best weeks I have had in a long time. I feel like I’m getting back to my roots. Back to where I was so long ago. I have been spending so much time with Amber and Emily and when I’m not with them I’ve been writing and working on different things. Building, thinking, all these things I feel I was pulling away from. Losing site of.

I think I’m on the right path. Let’s see where it goes.

I start my diet tomorrow. Tomorrow I am fasting to detox and then I am going to jump into a lower calorie/carb/garbage diet. I hope that if I can get my mind and body into better places I can begin to repair and rebuild the structure that supports my life and well-being.
