De cand s-a inventat acest program dragut numit Messenger si de cand ne-am emancipat si noi si avem net prin fibra optica, Wireless, etc si nu mai stam sa dam la manivela la Dial-up cum era pe vremuri , toata lumea foloseste internetul pentru a comunica. De la mic la mare , indiferent de varsta , etnie sau credinte internetul ne primeste pe toti cu bratele deschise facandu-ne mai usoara comunicarea.

Dar aici intervin si anumiti factori, spre exemplu conversatiile pot fi urmarite si stocate intr-o baza de date, userele ( id-urile ) pot fi furate impreuna cu parole si altele asemanatoare. Daca pui o poza pe un site fii sigur ca o sa ti-o fure cineva si o va folosi in scopuri mai mult sau mai putin ortodoxe, ca sa nu mai vorbim de faptul ca dam o gramada de bani pe tehnologia numita laptopuri , Iphone-uri, PC-uri, Notebook-uri pe care mai apoi le stricam fiindca luam virusi sau alte traznai de pe net. Evident o alta forma de stres sunt mesajele in masa sau MASS-urile asa cum sunt cunoscute in “argoul” de mess… Aceste mass-uri sunt date de prietenii de prin lista ta sau de cei din lista prietenilor tai si ei le dau mai departe. Nu zic nu!! Ca si eu dau mass-uri , dar numai cand am ceva important de zis. O invitatie la o seara festiva, la un concert, un anunt important, mass-uri de interes general. Dar nu dau mass-uri ca cel pe care l-am primit mai devreme ( si care nu este singurul.. primesc mii de astfel de mass-uri lunar ):

Eu nu voi plange dupa tine daca pleci, eu voi muri dupa tine.” In aceasta seara, la miezul noptii, dragostea ta iti va spune ca te iubeste ! Ceva dragut ti se va intimpla maine intre 13-16 iar daca nu il trimiti la toti din lista ta in decurs de o ora ,vei avea ghinion dar nu si la cel care l-a trimis.”

Sau desigur vestitele mass-uri despre Elodia , boala unei fetite inexistente care iti spune sa trimiti bani la un numar de cont ..date ce nu se pot verifica, alte mass-uri asemanatoare cu cel de sus…

Ceea ce ma distreaza este faptul ca sunt o gramada care dau astfel de mass-uri mai departe. Si cele mai amuzante sunt cele in care spune ” daca nu dai mai departe se va intampla – nu stiu ce – ” . Ma uitam acum doua zile la trailerul unui film numit Chain Letter cu Nikki Reed ( multi probabil o stiti in rolul lui Rosalie Hale Cullen din Twilight Saga ) in rolul principal. Filmul are ca subiect exact acest tip de chain letters sau mass-uri. Un ucigas maniac in serie ii ucidea pe toti cei care refuzau sa dea mai departe  o scrisoare in lant. Amuzant ? Poate .. trist e ca exista astfel de oameni pe acest pamant care chiar iau in serios ceea ce scrie intr-un mass. Un mass poate fi generat de un virus pe care il are o persoana in PC , sau poate fi o gluma , cea scris la plictiseala precum Popescu Lucica sufera de cancer. trimite  -  o suma de bani -  la contul BXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. Eu nu cred in astfel de mass-uri , si nici nu sfatuiesc pe nimeni sa o faca. Da!! Daca este ceva veridic, ceva ce poate fi verificat, o actiune din partea unei fundatii de binefacere cunoscuta ce poate fi verificata, daca as dispune de bani as trimite. Fiindca imi este mila de cei ce sufera de anumite boli grave si nu au resursele necesare pentru a le combate si ma pun in locul lor. Dar astfel de mesaje fara nici o noima… I’m not stupid…I smell fraud…

Ca sa nu mai vorbim de numerele de telefon date prin mass-uri , schimbul de liste de messenger de te trezesti ca iti da X-ulescu add si tu habar nu ai cine e… si face glume aiurea sau mai stiu eu ce. Sau dai click pe un link ce a venit sub forma de mass si te duce pe un site de unde iei un virus Trojan si cineva iti intra in calculator sau alti virusi similari prin intermediul carora ti se fura fisiere , parole si altele din PC.

Tehnologia ne ajuta sa comunicam, dar in acelasi timp trebuie sa avem grija sa nu fim luati de prosti si bagati in probleme cu virusi , oameni nebuni si altele. De asemenea nu va dati numere de telefon sau date personale prin YM. Pot fi furate si folosite in scopuri deloc ortodoxe.

Virus infection on your computer may cause very serious damage and even loss on your business. You can imagine, it can your system registry or your entire computer Wreck (with all of your exposures, data on them!) Or all your HTML programs! It is a total black screen, it will not start at all. But this is actually the worst scenario that can happen. Do you want to wait for this worse scenario in your life happen? I do not believe it?

Here are the 10 smart ways toI personally do to my computer from viruses, spyware and dialers.

(1) If you are using Windows XP, always on the firewall.

(2) Always carry all the necessary latest updates and service packs (all windows too, all your programs and software! — Always updated) hold

(3) Run your anti-virus program everyday (some do it every week) There are many virus programs that you get for scanning.

(4) Run your anti-spyware/adaware run once a week (I SpybotSearch & Destroy and Lavasoft Adware staff — they are shareware, which means it is free!). What I do is that I understand the Lavasoft Adware first run, then run Spybot Search and Destroy (I also run it with immunize ")" tool. These two tools are always up on my desktop for easy access.

(5) Turn off your pop-up blocker – this feature in Windows XP is available (you will see this under Tools> Internet Options can click> Privacy> How to Block Pop Ups. In addition, I also have another pop-up -downloadBlockers on the Google Toolbar. I think the pop-up blocker effective in blocking pop-ups.

(6) Never open mails to you or not, you are aware of suspicious. If it in your bulk mail, send it back to your provider as "spam"! I never get my bulk mail. I automatically delete emails from my bulk mail.

(7) When using messenger (IM) services, very careful with files sent via instant messaging. Instead, choose whether to send an e-mail to you. Most e-mailServices now has virus check and clears it if the file has virus or not.

(8) Be very careful when downloading files or programs from the Internet, pay attention to the instructions, while it is downloaded. Download times can error on the system registry or the entire computer system (an example of cause, has my nephew's computer with viruses bad because of heavy downloading games and music! – My guess is infected!)

(9) Be with files from a floppy or you will carefullyall other external media, if you open it in your CD-ROM from the floppy drive. They should know their origins, or even better, if you insert, they open scanned with your anti-virus program before installing the files.

(10) Run defragmentation, disk clean up, registry scanner at least once a week. You can defragmentation by simply pointing your mouse to find the C: drive (usually the main hard drive logical drive)> right click with the mouse> click Properties> click Tools> click on defragmentnow!

There are so many shareware on the Internet, you can receive free! (this is the reason, it is a shareware!). Keep your computer healthy, productive, you can (if you're a business!) Or it is more about surfing and surfing the web!

Viruses, Trojan, Malware, Why education is the only way

By now you have probably had one of the above or know someone that has had a run in with them.  With 99% of all email on the Internet being JUNK or SPAM most Malware is spread through email.  The new method of Malware ditribution is now via websites.  50% of all Malware infections are now from web pages.  Some of the sites that have been infected in the past are Twitter and Wikipedia.  I have witnessed myself an attempted  infection from a product review web site.

Here are the best ways to reduce or prevent an attack.

Always run a reputable AntiVirus product.  There is a disagreement if free software is worth the price.  My feeling is that anything is better than nothing, but poor software can give you a false sense of security.  Microsoft has released their Security Essentials and it is one of the best FREE security products available for individual computers.

Do not download software from file sharing sites.  Most of the software on these sites is infected with various viruses and malware.  It has even been reported that organized crime is hacking software and movies and posting them on these sites to gain access to peoples computers and money to help further their cause.

Practise safe surfing and emailing.  Large companies will never send you an email with a ZIP file in it and large software companies will not send you an email with a link to update or speed up their software.

The #1 infection we have been seeing for the past 2 months is a “fake anti-virus program”.  90% of all computers that we have had to clean have this virus on it.  It has come to the user as an email with a ZIP attachment from Adobe claimng to be an update or an email from a large shipping company claiming to be a label or tracking information.  Do not open these emails, they are all fake.  This has been the hardest virus to prevent since protection alone can not prevent it since the user is choosing to install it.  The other problem is that the virus is changing every week and the Anti-Virus vendors can not keep up with it.  The only way to is to educate your staff and prevent them from getting the email or opening the email.

What is spy-ware?

I just reinstalled Zonealarm on all our computers. After paying for more bandwidth, we ran out in a day. Either some malware us using one or more of our computers for spam, or Telkom’s meters need need recalibrating. No way are we uploading 50 to 70 Megabytes a DAY!

So I reinstalled ZoneAlarm from scratch, not as an update, which means revoking all previous permissions. And then I get lots of messages saying “Google installer is trying to access the Internet”.

Well, I ask SmartAdvisor for advice, and it says:

1. If you do not know what Google Installer is, or why it is trying to connect, deny it permission. You can always grant permission later if you need to.
2. After you deny permission, determine whether Google Installer still performs the functions you need it to. If it does, no further action is required. If it doesn’t, use the Programs tab to grant access permission.

Right, well I don’t know what it is, or why it needs to access the Internet every ten minutes, so I’m denying it permission. Maybe it has been responsible for thase massive uploads.

And then I see these advertisements — get R1500 off your new laptop if you sign a contact for 250 Mb of Internet access each month for two years. 250 Mb? Are they joking? That’s about one day’s Internet access nowadays. And if you work out the cost it’s about 80c a megabyte. Telkom charges about 7c a megabyte, and I can’t afford that at the rate they bill me for it.

MX Lab intercepts emails with an embedded URL that leads to a web site where  you will have the notice “You don’t have the latest version of Macromedia Flash Player.” and you can download the file flashinstaller.exe. The file itself is malware and listens to the name Win32:Zbot-MGA (Avast), W32/Bifrost.C.gen!Eldorado (F-Prot), PWS-Zbot.gen.v (McAfee) or PWS:Win32/Zbot.gen!R (Micorsoft).

Possible subject are (where * stands for characters of the email address or domain name):

What we notice is, it’s a bit hilarious and looks like the author has been on Mars for quite some time, is the usage of the company name Macromedia. As we all know by now, Macromedia has been taken over by Adobe and the brand name Macromedia isn’t used anymore.

Anyway, the URL leads to the 124 kB big file named flashinstaller.exe. The malware has the characteristics of ZBot – a banking trojan that disables firewall, steals sensitive financial data (credit card numbers, online banking login details), makes screen snapshots, downloads additional components, and provides a hacker with the remote access to the compromised system.

The system file %System%\sdra64.exe is created, hidden files %System%\lowsec\local.ds, %System%\lowsec\user.ds and a hidden directory %System%\lowsec is created.

New memory pages created in the address space of the system process(es): %System%\services.exe, %System%\lsass.exe, %System%\svchost.exe and %ProgramFiles%\internet explorer\iexplore.exe in combination with Window registry edits.

Connection with a remote host at 193.104.27.42 on port 80 is established and the following URLs are requested:

I received an email from Microsoft this morning telling me about how Software Piracy is the root of all evil and bragging about what they have been doing about it. I was that annoyed that I sent a quick reply that I have pasted below.
Mind you I missed an opportunity to tell them that the security threats are caused by there software as just copying an Operating System from one disc to another doesn’t some how infect it with Spyware/Malware, sigh….when will they learn.

I use Linux so I can copy and sell software legally, but it annoys me when Microsoft puts out information like;

but then fails to do any thing about it.

Every day on Ebay hundreds of copies of illegal Microsoft software is sold (for example, search for XP/Vista Black edition). I know it has been reported to yourselves and Ebay directly but nothing ever changes.
Sending me a list of just 22 companies (and how many even sold on Ebay) that have been prosecuted is not impressive.
A bit less time putting down Linux and it’s sellers and a bit more time putting your money where your mouth is would impress me though.

Of course what you should do is follow the GNU/GPL and you wouldn’t have these problems any way.

The ending of the email is designed to make it appear to come from your local IT department. For a small business without an IT department this is obviously a reason not to trust the email.

The attached file is named utility.zip and contains the 20 kB big file utility.exe.

I’ve been quite busy lately, and so I am reposting an old forum post, although hopefully a few people will still fine it useful.

The following summaries of AV software are based purely on my experiences with said software. I’ve been working in the field for about 15 years, and I’ve setup most AV products at one time or another, and seen them in action. I also keep track with reviews and tests, of which two are independent and recognized as somewhat authoritative: AV Comparatives and Virus Bulletin. If you disagree with my opinions, please do leave a comment, and let me know why.

• AVG is recommended by people who don’t know any better, or had it recommended to them and recommend it in turn. It has poor detection rates, invasive behavior and can have a large impact on performance. While it may be easy to use, it is not reliable, and the company uses stupid techniques like flooding the internet to try and save a dying product. The free version has especially limited functionality in some ways, such as being unable to set exceptions. The product is not overly configurable, is not secure or reliable, and should not be trusted or recommended. There is absolutely no reason to use it in light of the other products available.
• Avast is a popular choice, and quite decent. easy to use, negligible impact on performance, excellent scanning speed, very configurable, and decent detection rates. Avast is free for home use. I would recommend Avast as second to Avira, as within the last year the development team has been paying less attention to reported viruses, which is a shame.
• Avira currently has the best detection rates, is free for home use, easy to understand, and relatively configurable. It does not have all of the features of Avast such as a web and IM protection, but this should not be a problem for most people. It tends to rely on ads, however this can be easily disabled after searching to find out how. There is a negligible, if any, impact on performance.
• Microsoft Security Essentials is the newest product in this list, but it is also among the highest rating. It is released completely free to licensed Windows users, with no limitations. It is unobtrusive, has near to no impact on performance, and has a high detection and low false positive rate. It lacks some of the configurability of Avira and Avast, but is more intuitive and easy to use than both of them.
• Nod32 tends to be recommended by people who are familiar with it. In reality, it is less effective and has less features than Avira, Avast or MSE. It has lower detection rates, slower performance, is not as easy to use and often does not clean up infections effectively. It also has a high false positive rate, which is just annoying. Considering that it is not free and has no technical advantage over the free products, there is very little reason to suggest this.
• Norton 360 deserves a mention here. Norton has a well deserved reputation for being a resources hog, and requiring an obscene amount of effort to properly remove, while not being a terribly great virus scanner to begin with. This reputation however, is no longer deserved. Symantec have given the Norton product a complete rewrite, and it is not incredibly fast and efficient, and simple to remove. It has several innovative features that make scanning and threat detection fast and efficient, with detection rates close to or equal to Avira. However, the main drawback here is the price. There is simply no advantage that justifies paying for Norton over one of the excellent free products.

The well known products such as Symantec, McAfee, CA, Sophos and the like tend to be tailored more for a corporate environment, having features that are meant to make large scale administration and configuration simpler. For home use, they are expensive, slow and out of place.

The best choice is currently Avira. It has the right mix of ease of use and flexibility, while having high detection rates and being free. Microsoft Security Essentials is the next best choice, and may be more suitable for less savvy users.You should also use software such as Spybot S&D and Malwarebytes to scan for malware, which can be more of a risk these days. The very best advice is just to employ common sense when downloading and using the internet, and you may not even need a virus scanner in the first place. Stay up to date with security fixes, don’t download dodgy executables etc..

If you do decide to not use an AntiVirus product(a choice I intend to justify in an upcoming article), then two sites which may be of use are VirusTotal and Jotti’s Malware Scan. Both of these sites will allow you to upload a file, where it will be matched against several AntiVirus products(around 30 or more) to identify if a file is suspicious or not. These sites may also be used to verify if a suspected false positive is clean or not.

Warning:There are many fake AntiVirus products, which are actually malware of some kind pretending to be a virus scanner. They may even go so far as to pretend to find viruses and clean files. They tend to have dubious names such as “AntiVirus 2009″. Make sure to thoroughly investigate the software you plan to install on your machine if it is not listed here, or you are not familiar with it. If you think you may have been infected with malware, then my guide to removing malware may help you to restore your system to a clean and working state.

A Tale of Two Stories: The European BioWar outbreak and the censoring of it by the mainstream news media.

The biggest story on the Planet today is the outbreak of a very serious Advanced Biological War virus in Europe.

The second biggest story on the Planet is the suppression of this story for almost two weeks by the corporate owned mainstream news media.

There is a lot we know and a lot that we can only speculate on about what is unfolding in Central Europe. We know that in mid-October, less than a month ago, there was a growing number of cases of what many thought was Swine Flu (A/H1N1) in the western part of the Ukraine. We know that many hundreds if not thousands of people in western Ukraine witnessed low flying light airplanes aerosol spraying something over Ukrainian cities during the days of October 29, 2009 and October 31, 2009.

We know that beginning the night of October 29th, massive numbers of people begin to get very sick. We know that the Ukraine government issued a statement denying that it was doing any aerial spraying to combat the growing disease or authorizing any spraying over Ukrainian cities. We know that by October 30th, the Ukrainian authorities closed all schools for three weeks and banded public gatherings.

We do NOT know what disease the people were/are coming down with. We do know that doctors are describing the disease as Pneumonic Plague, or as some type of hemorrhagic fever, or as hemorrhagic influenza, or as hemorrhagic pneumonia. We know that the illness, whatever it is, does not appear to be A/H1N1. We do not know if the disease is a recombination of A/H1N1 with other viruses or some totally different virus or if it is in fact a virus. We know that the World Health Organization (WHO) has had several days to sequence the genes of the disease but has failed to release this data.

We know that WHO has NOT called for the quarantining of the Ukraine or the shutdown of all global travel to/from the area of infection and that this is the same thing that they did when Mexican Swine Flu (A/H1N1) first broke out and that the failure to contain that virus early on ensured its spread throughout the world.

We know that the internal temperature of the lungs of those with a terminal case of what many are calling ‘Ukrainian Plague’ is often from 130F to 135F. We do know that autopsies show that the lungs are filled with blood, and are black in color, and that the lung tissue has turned to mush. We know that patients who first show any signs of illness usually crash in less than 48 hours, sometimes the same day.

We know that the disease was spreading by about 200,000 per day but that this has slowed to about 100,000 day now, in the Ukraine, as people take extraordinary steps to contain the spread of the disease.

We know that well over one and a third million people in the Ukraine are very ill with the disease (according to published official sources) and that over 60,000 are hospitalized in serious to critical condition. We know that the disease has a very high transmission rate with a likely low amount of viral (if it is in fact a virus) material needed to cause an infection. We know that the official reports of deaths are under 300 in the Ukraine. We also know that it is normal for hospital admissions of people with ARI (acute respiratory infection) to have a fatality rate of from 5% to 10%. We know that non-official sources were reporting over 3,000 deaths several days ago and that this number is more in tune with the 5-10% fatality rate than the official figures.

We do not know what effective treatments are for this illness. We do know that young adults seem to be more in danger of this illness. We suspect that ‘cytokine storming’ similar to that in the 1918 Spanish Flu, that killed approximately 50 million people, is taking place.

We know from official Ukrainian Health Ministry reports that the illness does not test out as Mexican Swine Flu (A/H1N1). We do not know if the existing Swine Flu vaccine has any effect, but based on the non-positive response to Swine Flu in testing, we suspect that the vaccine is ineffective as the viral protean shell is different than A/H1N1 (if in fact it is a virus that causes the illness).

We know that the illness has spread to Poland, where over one quarter of a million people are now very ill. We know that it has spread to Belarus and to Hungary and elsewhere in central Europe. We know that 900,000 people are said to have Swine Flu in Norway but we do not know if this is related to Ukraine Plague in any way.

We know that on November 8th a South African site (fto.co.za) carried the following: /”Suspicious aircraft were forced to land. A US operated (Russian-made long-range heavy transport) AN-124 changed its call sign from civilian to military which then triggered a response from the IAF (Indian Air Force) upon entering Pakistani air space (forcing) the plane to land in Mumbai while (a) second one was forced down by Nigerian fighter jets that also arrested the crew.”

“According to reports, China’s People’s Liberation Army Air Force contacted the Indian and Nigerian intelligence officials about the presence of these US operated Ukrainian aircraft amidst growing concern that the United States was spreading ‘biological agents’ in the Earth’s atmosphere, which some Chinese officials believed to be an attempt to (commit) mass genocide via the spread of H1N1 swine flu.”

These aircraft “were carrying ‘waste disposal’ systems that could spray up to 45,000kg (nearly 100,000 pounds) of aerial type mist from sophisticated….nano pipes” in the planes’ wings – called chemtrails.

We know that Baxter International Pharmaceuticals sent 72 kilos of human influenza H3N2 vaccine materials to 16 labs in European nations which contained live H5N1 Bird Flu viruses. We know that this was only discovered when a Czech lab tested the material on several ferrets (ferrets have a similar respiratory system to humans) and all of the ferrets died in short order. We know that Baxter claimed that this was human error. We also know that such a ‘human error’ is basically impossible with the containment protocols in place at Baxter and any other modern biolabs using Biosafety Level 3 (BLS-3) lab technology.

We know that in mid-August a Joseph Moshe, who is a Mossad biological warfare expert, called in to Dr. A. True Ott’s national radio talk show and reported that Baxter was getting ready to release a deadly plague from its Ukrainian lab and that he was shortly meeting with US Attorneys in Los Angles to give evidence about this. We know that shortly thereafter Moshe was apprehended by Federal agents and LA police and taken to the Israeli Consulate. We know that he was quickly flown to Israel and that no further word has come from him.

We know that over the last three or so years a large number of biological experts, from a number of places all over the world, have died strange deaths and that this has been commented on by various publications in the past.

We know that the sudden appearance of Mexican Swine Flu (A/H1N1) virtually had to have been a release from a biological warfare lab. We know that A/H1N1 has gene sequences from three different types (American, Asian, and African) of Swine Flu, of Bird Flu, of two different types of human seasonal flu, and of Spanish Flu and that such a recombination is so unlikely in nature as to be virtually impossible. We know that the WHO policies of not requiring a major quarantine of Mexico ensured that A/H1N1 would spread throughout the world.

We know that the current Swine Flu “Vaccine” is almost totally untested, and that the manufactures are protected from lawsuits for even deliberate acts that result in deaths and that nations acquiring the vaccines are required to sign contracts agreeing not to release negative information on the “vaccine” to the public. We know that published additives to the “vaccine” include highly dangerous-to-human-health substances.

We know that the corporate owned mainstream news media (with strong links to global banking families) have censored this story in a way that has never happen before. We know that the outbreak of a unknown but deadly and very rapidly spreading disease in Europe is the largest story on Earth but that it is NOT being reported on.

All victims of the virus in Bukovyna (22 people at the age of 20-40) died not from bilateral pneumonia, as was previously thought, but as a result of viral distress syndrome, i.e the total destruction of the lungs.

At first the cardio-pulmonary insufficiency comes, and consequently cardiogenic shock is developed, which causes cardiac standstill and death, told the chief of bureau of the Chernivtsi regional forensic examination, doctor of science, Professor Viktor Bachynsky, UNIAN reports.

“During a bilateral pneumonia some morphological picture is observed. As of data of deaths, there is no such morphological picture. The virus, which causes death, is very aggressive, it does not strike the trachea, but immediately gets into the lungs and causes heavy swelling and solid hemorrhage. Mixed types of parainfluenza and influenza A/N1N1 lead to this state. This is a very toxic strain, which has not yet answered to the treatment of the Ministry of Health”, – said Viktor Bachinsky.

According to him, there is a need to change the treatment standards, because those which were used earlier, resulted in nothing – doctors failed to save all people infected with the virus in the reanimation.

The belt ventilators did not help also.

For this reason a group of professors of Chernivtsi Medical University appealed to the Ministry of Health and National Security and Defense Council with a demand to review the standards of treatment of patients in Bukovyna. Scientists-morphologists sent to Kyiv reports, studies and analysis of critically ill patients and people who died of virus.

Viktor Bachinsky noted that the virus is extremely toxic, it is able to penetrate not only through respiratory apparatus but also through the eyes. Chernovtsy scientists recommend in any case use masks and even wear protective spectacles. An important condition to prevent deterioration of the situation is also the observance of quarantine regime.

06:19 p.m. Ministry of Health does not consider it is necessary to publish data on the number of confirmed cases of influenza pandemic in the laboratory. “Ukraine is in the A/N1N1 influenza pandemic, and now it does not matter how many of these cases will be detected, we should treat everybody equally,” – said Deputy Minister of Health Vasyl Lazoryshynets at a briefing on Friday.

Vasyl Lazoryshynets also reminded that in Ukraine since the beginning of the epidemic 1,25 mn people became ill with pandemic influenza, influenza and acute respiratory diseases, including 61,000 people – over the past day, which is by 8,500 less than the previous day.

65,615 people are treated in hospital, including 392 – in the reanimation, 60 have artificial pulmonary ventilation.

Since the beginning of the epidemic in Ukraine 239 people died, including 26 people during the last day, most of them are in the Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Lviv and Ternopil Regions. He also said that according to the laboratory data, 14 people died of pandemic influenza, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

06:25 p.m. To date, swine flu in Ukraine is dominant, but not the only strain, said the head of mission of the World Health Organization in Ukraine Yukka Pukkila.

Yukka Pukkila said that the strain of pandemic virus is detected in 22 cases of 34 samples sent to the control laboratory, which collaborates with WHO in London.

At the same time, Yukka Pukkila stressed that, besides Californian flu in Ukraine there is a large number of varieties of acute respiratory viral diseases and many other viruses that infect the respiratory system, reports Liga.

• There are two kinds of influenza vaccines: one type is an injection or shot in the arm and the other type is administered into the nose with a nasal sprayer. The shot contains inactivated (killed) influenza viruses, and the nasal vaccine contains live viruses that are weakened.

• Autumn is the best time to get vaccinated against seasonal influenza, although getting the vaccine in the winter months when influenza season often peaks is also beneficial as outbreaks of influenza often continue through the early spring months.

• Young children, people with chronic medical conditions, and elderly people are at higher risk for seasonal flu-related complications. Vaccination of these groups is critical.

• Influenza immunization of health care personnel is important to help decrease the risk of contracting influenza and spreading infection to others.

• You can’t get the flu from the influenza vaccine. Some people do get a mild fever, body aches, and fatigue for a few days after the vaccine, and soreness at the injection site is a common side effect of the shot. The most common side effects seen with administration of the nasal vaccine include runny nose or nasal congestion in recipients of all ages, fever of more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit in children two to six years of age, and sore throat in adults.

The other day, I received an email from one “Rosalind Strugnell” asking me to apply for a firm called “Elite Star Marketing.”  They “found my resume on craigslist and were inviting me to apply.”  I think I’d enjoy a marketing career, so I went and started applying…

…after I did a Google search.  Nothing.  Nada.  Zip.  Zero.  The ONLY thing I found out about Elite Star Marketing was that the domain http://www.elitestarmarketing.com was registered on November 1, 2009.  It was mentioned in a blurb in domain-daily.com, which lists what domains were recently registered.  I was able to find that listing yesterday (Saturday, Nov. 14), but I can’t find it today (ETA: found it in my history: http://domain-daily.com/new/2009-11-12/61.html). 

Just because it’s a new website doesn’t mean anything it’s a bad thing.  The website looks pretty legit.  As I was filling it out, it told me I would need to bring a copy of my credit report to the interview.  I’ve had a couple of friends do this, and they were hired by actual exisiting businesses, so that didn’t set off my bullshit radar.  They provided a link to a “free credit reporting service.”  Before we go any further, I know those are all fake.  I did click it, to see where it would take me.  It took me to I think freecreditreports247.com.  I didn’t fill anything out because I’m terrified those are identity theft mills.  I didn’t fill out the application all the way, though, something didn’t seem right.

I ran two whois reports on this “Elite Star Marketing.”  A whois search lists the name of the person who registered the domain name, the hosting company, the physical address of the registarants, etc.  I ran two searches, and I got two addresses, one in New York City, the other in the Bahamas.  Here they are:

I Googled both of the addresses.  Apparently, the NY address shares a building with many talent agencies.  The Bahamas address brought up a bunch of links concerning virus infections stemming from one of the THOUSANDS of urls this “company” owns.  I’ve just done a virus check, and nothing has come up, so I’m hoping I missed whatever virus they may be spreading. 

I’m sending a letter to someone in the Bahamian (I’m guessing that’s the correct term for a citizen of the Bahamas?  Lord I need an AP Stylebook) to see who I  might be able to contact in the Bahamas to get more information on this matter, because A) I’m bored and B) I’m really into figuring this out.

“Services & Global Procurement pan IOT Europe, Pandemic Plan Overview,”an official inter-departmental document was distributed to upper-level management of IBM, France in 2006. Disclosed in this secret document was the prediction of a “planned” pandemic described as having a “100% chance of occurring within the next 5 years.”

The document also describes “quarantines”and operational procedures to be taken upon the official announcements of the “pandemic”by the World Health Organization. The foreknowledge of such an event could not exist, unless the pandemic was a planned event.

Certainly, this document is the “smoking gun” which demonstrates the current bird/swine flu “pandemic”is an orchestrated event leading to mass vaccinations sponsored by the WHO and UN.

This single document definitively proves there is international, corporate collusion behind the “bird/swine flu pandemic”and the intentional plan to create disease on a worldwide scale.

As evidenced by this document (see below), IBM’s primary concerns are focused on maintaining their workforce, even under an official quarantine, and the continuation of sales and services to their clients.

IBM is considered to be one of the most powerful corporations in the world. They and their subsidiaries helped create enabling technologies, step-by-step, from the identification and cataloging programs of the 1930s to the selections of the 1940s which designed complex solutions for Adolf Hitler during this period.

In his article today, Handley exposes how Gorski, who has been on the warpath attempting to smear and discredit the “anti-vaccine movement,” has seized upon the Jennings story with wanton abandon in an effort to rebuild the credibility of vaccines that are being rejected in accelerating numbers across America due to concerns about side-effects and dangerous additives like mercury and squalene.

Handley chastises Gorski’s “angry, disrespectful, biting, caustic, and immature approach” in his efforts to counter the Desiree Jennings case. The main body of his article is reprinted below.

The Desiree Jennings case appears to be bringing out the absolute worst in many of the bloggers who oppose our community. As one example, I read a post by Dr. Steven Novella where he “reported” on a string of events involving Generation Rescue and the Desiree Jennings case that had no basis in reality and was simply false. We have neurologists breaking tabloid-level stories? Dr. Novella as investigative journalist? Too funny.

In no particular order, the Desiree Jennings case appears to be causing doctors to break all sorts of medical ethical boundaries including:

- Challenging Ms. Jennings’ original diagnosis of dystonia. Since when do doctors make long-distance video-only diagnoses? Don’t these doctors realize, by offering up potentially false commentary on the nature of Ms. Jennings diagnosis in a story that has captivated the world, that they will one day be called to task for such a glaring breach of medical ethics?

- Claiming Ms. Jennings condition is all in her head. For parents of children with autism, this one has a familiar ring. How on earth do Doctors like Gorski and Novella dare throw out a psychological diagnosis on a patient they have never examined? Thank God she found a doctor who knew it was all in her body.

- Claiming the flu shot couldn’t possibly cause her condition. Once again, how on earth does a long-distance doctor determine this? Vaccines cause a wide variety of side-effects, but Ms. Jennings’ condition just couldn’t be vaccine-induced? To hell with what doctors who did examine her actually determined, we are the only arbiters of truth. It’s nuts.

- Claiming she couldn’t possibly recover from a condition she didn’t even have. Forget the HBOT, chelation, B-12, vitamins, etc., Ms. Jennings couldn’t possibly recover, much like our kids never do, either.

It’s great to watch these “doctors” dig themselves into a bigger and bigger hole. I’m not sure doctors like David Gorski realizes how silly their comments look to the average American and how much they have exposed themselves as the true story of what Desiree went through emerges. Thank you, Orac, for showing the world your true colors, because the world is most certainly watching.

The desperation with which apologists for the vaccine industry have gone about trying to savage the credibility of the Desiree Jennings case illustrates how damaging the story has been to the pharmaceutical lobby and their floundering agenda to coerce as many people as possible into taking their dangerous swine flu shot.

The Jennings case, allied to the story out of Germany about how elitists were given access to a special version of the vaccine that didn’t contain additives but was not available to the general public, has undoubtedly contributed to the mass resistance to the H1N1 shot that continues to build across Europe, Canada and North America.

No amount of callous back-biting, gnashing of teeth, and contrived smear attempts on behalf of the vaccine lobby and their media apologists can now stop that momentum. The word is out – people know what’s in your vaccines and there’s no way to reverse that revelation.

I should just let well enough alone But I can’t. I feel like this folder is such a joke and I can’t sit on my hands hard enough to stop me from typing this post, even though I know it’s against the rules. Not responding to a buyer’s PM about having sent the paypal does NOT mean that you are out and out ignoring her, it might just mean that you already knew that she sent it because you got an email notification about it from paypal. Telling the buyer that OF COURSE I apologized profusely only AFTER I had a paypal claim filed against me is ridiculous. I knew I was late with shipping and I was apologizing because I knew I was in the wrong. To turn my apologizing around into a reason why she should leave negative feedback is really ridiculous. Would it have been better if I hadn’t apologized for my own error at all? I had more than one transaction in the balance at the time of the one in question, and the other mama I was working with waited for a (timely) response to her PM about the shipping status. She and I agreed that priority shipping with an extra dipe thrown into her package would be fine, but the mama that you all advised filed a paypal claim just an hour after sending me a PM asking if I had a DC number. I know because I got the email notifications of both the PM and the paypal claim on my blackberry while I was driving to a job interview. If she still wanted to file a paypal claim after hearing that I had not shipped yet (which I was planning to tell her as soon as I got home), that would have been her prerogative. It feels good to answer a question that actually helps somebody in everyday life. Using viruses to treat cancer is an experimental treatment known as virotherapy. It was first implied that viruses could help eliminate cancer after a modified rabies virus, vesicular stomatitis, was used to help kill cancer cells in lab mice. The logic of this is simple: cancer is caused by errors in cell reproduction. Viruses kill cells. See the connection? In the studies, the virus has been shown to kill a tumour in mice in three days. Although some modifications were made to the cells to make more of a human scenario (confusing modifications), virotherapy hasn’t failed much. Virotherapy could eliminate surgery, which is useful when cancer is in a fragile area.

Virotherapy is not an exact science, only having been recently discovered. I’m sure scientists will study it much more before it is applied as a regular treatment for patients. As for causing cancer, you’re right about that too. Some viruses do cause cancer, but there is no connection between them causing and healing cancer.I’m not sure if the cold virus is part of it, but virotherapy definitely exists.

Are we moving in the right direction? Of course. Finding a cure for cancer is like fumbling in a dark room. We don’t know where we’re going, and we’ll take any lead we get. Virotherapy helps, so we charge at the idea head on. Scientists are studying virotherapy all over the world, and Australia is no exception. We’re moving in the right direction.
