Ele não  promove uma transformação total no sistema, mas oferece várias opções de cores para que você acabe a monotonia. Preto, verde, azul, cinza, vermelho, limão, laranja e roxo são as cores que dão nova cara para o seu Windows XP com o Mediterraneo 4.1 Plus.

Aplicando

Com o Universal Theme Patcher aplicado, acesse a pasta de temas do Windows XP – “C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes” (assumindo que a letra do disco rígido é C) – e crie uma pasta para se referir a este tema. Extraia o conteúdo do arquivo baixado nesta pasta. Dê um duplo clique no arquivo “Med4Plus1″. Na janela exibida, escolha a cor desejada em Esquema de cores, Depois coloque “Ok”.

Se você fica babando com os computadores estilizados da AlienWare, talvez deva conferir o AlienGUIse. Todos os temas do pacote são muito bonitos e deixarão seu computador muito moderno. O pacote possui um instalador automático e facilita muito a aplicação dos temas. Não deixem de Conferir!

Um belo ou belo é até pouco, um belíssimo tema para o Windows 7, é azul e bem arrojado. Pena que seja só para o Aero Theme, pois bem que o autor poderia criar a versão do Basic, mas mesmo assim o tema é lindo e perfeito.
Francamente eu gosto de temas azuis assim, são bonitos.

Screening’s tomorrow. Today’s like christmas eve. I want to see everyone’s work. If it’s like last time, I’ll be surprised, in a good way. It’s easy to get wrapped up in your own project and assume that no one else is working as hard as you. Obviously that’s not the case, and I think that the screening is one of the most educational parts of this whole course. You get to see what other people did with similar subjects, what sorts of documentary styles proliferate.. and I think you really get a better sense of why a film works or why it does not. You watch so many films, and you start to find patterns — the best docos had certain common elements.. or the bland docos were unengaging because of the following… etc.

How do I think our film (now titled Beyond Explanation — look out for it) will stack up? I think our approach will be refreshingly different. I can’t really say anything without watching many of the other docos, but I think that ours will be more.. ‘atmospheric’. Rather than create an informative documentary on a certain topic, we’re dealing with personal stories and personal belief systems, in an abstract, fairly eclectic sort of way. Yes, it’s constructed, it’s contrived, it doesn’t look “real” as such. But I do think we’ve constructed something that augments Gitta’s real story. Rather than heading out into “the real world” to get the inside scoop on something, we retreated into darkness.. into quiet, controlled environments where we could set up lights and project imagery. It’s not “raw” or “edgy” or “down to earth”, but it has allowed us to create something that’s visually polished and aesthetically charged. It’s less about “truth”, or about learning anything particular.. and it’s more subjective. Some parts of it are polarising — you’re either captivated, or you dismiss them as contrived or unnecessary. I’m fine with that. Strong reactions are better than no reactions, I feel. Last semester’s film (Straight to Video) technically worked.. it was well executed, but it lacked guts. It wasn’t daring.. we were afraid to take a specific direction.. was it drama? action? comedy? You get what I mean. I’m immensely pleased that this semester, I’ve been able to work on something that has some definite affect. No matter what you think of our visual style, Gitta’s a very captivating person to listen to, and to watch, I’d argue.

So yes. I’m pleased. Maybe even “proud”. But pride’s dangerous in this industry. If you’re proud, you’re content, and at risk of becoming complacent. But at the same time, you need a sense of confidence, a sense that you know what you’re doing, that your production is actually worth something. Without that, you have no drive to continue. And that’s pride.

Whatever. This post is devolving into a semantic debate. We’ll just see what happens at the screening. That’s the only thing that counts.

To follow up my latest post on Visual style and how it interfaces with cosplay, I’m going to take it upon myself to do a short series of featurettes displaying some of the best Visual Kei cosplay I’ve seen on the web lately. If looks could kill, these cosplayers would be unwittingly massacring the cosplay community.

As I mentioned briefly in Of Corset Is, in my personal opinion I believe that the true purpose of cosplay is not to achieve the most correct costume of the character, but to capture as closely as possible the essence and personality of the character. It is important to remember that despite what the image on hand shows you, you are your own person, and unless you adapt the cosplay to be true both to yourself as well as to the character you are portraying, the cosplay will never really hit the mark. I have seen some really wonderful cosplays, but the cosplayer donning them had spent so much effort on getting the exact pattern of brocade for their Ten-Ten tassles, that they forgot to affect her airs and that particular feeling we associate with her. I’m (a tiny bit) less fussy about anime and video-game type cosplays than Visual Kei or Jrock ones, because with VK and Jrock we are attempting to affect the styles of a real person, and besides that– I’m just wicked touchy about the subject.

The reason I have chosen to feature these particular cosplays, is because the cosplayers have done an exceptional job not only at piecing together the outfits, makeup, and hair-styles, but they have also worked to portray as closely as possible this elusive essence of the object of cosplayification.

Crimson leaves are starting to fall, and rockers far and wide are digging up corsets, frock-coats, and implements of bondage to identify with the gloomy change in weather.

The other day I was talking about how Halloween is coming up, and how I will be spending it at a con. I hope the rest of you have interesting plans for the gloomy un-holiday. I at least hope that you have a party to attend, where much Malice Mizer will be blaring. Martha Stewart suggests complicated green curries cooked in gutted pumpkins, and acrylic-nail application parties for Les Halloween ‘09. But we’re a long way from Connecticut, Visualists…

Visual style has wormed its way into the apple of rocker fashion. Most Visualists are rooted strongly in their individuality and creativity, hacking their own look into the world of Visual style. However, because of the nature of Visual style and the rising popularity of Visual Kei as a mainstream genre, it has also transcended personal style and gone into the, shall we say, band-boy-band-girl and/or cosplay modes of expression. A lot of people who appreciate Visual Kei style and music feel that cosplay and band-fan-dom is a way of forging a closer bond to their favorite artists and bands.

Although I personally believe in Visualism and Jrock as a life-source, not to mention life-style, I also believe in cosplay  as legitimate means of expression and appreciation of bands and idols. Even if you decide to do a simple cosplay, and can’t find all the Moitie accessories to glam up your Mana-sama, cosplay well, (and this goes for everyone across the board—) and cosplay with integrity. There’s nothing less appreciative of a band or specific band member than half-assing your depiction of them. If you’re short on time, cash, garb, gear, or all of the above, consider simplifying your effigy by focusing on several very characteristic traits (hairstyle and makeup, for example…whatever the personality is really defined by.) and toning down the other elements. For example, Kanon Wakeshima? Broke? Full-time job (yup, they do go together)? Con in a week? Simple solution! Focus on the hair and makeup and any accessories you can manage, and then try and emulate the experience and sentiment of her outfit without actually recreating it in full! This is much more appropriate than buying a $14 cheesy prom dress from Salvation Army and hauling a cello around.

…and remember…next year, start making the costume right after the convention, not right before. (To be fair, I tried this and failed miserably. Wish me luck that I don’t return a hypocrite….Not that you’d know  either way ).

Apa kabar para pencari theme buat windows XP???? memang bener kalo dibilang tampilan default XP sangat membosankan dan boleh dibilang udah kuno….
Namun seiring banyaknya yang mengeluh tentang jeleknya tampilan default XP banyak pula yang membuat program atau visual styles agar tampilan XP bisa menjadi lebih segar dan menarik seperti windows vista maupun windows 7, dan ada juga tidak sekedar membuat visual style tapi dibuat semacam transformation pack yang merubah tampilan windows XP seakan-akan berubah hampir 100% seperti Vista atau Win7.
Sekedar berbagi, beberapa waktu lalu saya meng-utak-atik CD XP (sp2) punya temen yang dah error di dalamnya masih bisa terlihat dan bisa difungsikan ada file yang bernama Theme/setup101.exe. saya coba menjalankan program tersebut dan hasilnya Wowwww… ada tambahan buat themes XP. Menurut saya theme yang ada dalam program tsb tidak membosankan dan cukup bagus daripada menggunakan Transformation Pack. Sekedar itung2 wat tambahan themes jika suatu saat dah bosen.
Yang lebih menarik di situ tidak hanya ada satu themes saja, tapi terdapat beberapa themes diatantaranya:

Today was weird. We were shooting. But it wasn’t like anything I’ve shot before. Just cutaways upon cutaways… images, imagery, no overt meaning, no dialogue.. no audio whatsoever. We’re all talking through the takes, rolling the camera on anything remotely interesting. (this doesn’t mean we’re creatively-challenged.. when you’re shooting on DV tapes, you may as well shoot as much as humanly possible).

So we’ve plunged Gitta’s house into darkness, setting up a horrifying matrix of tangled leads and power cords. I’m on camera, using this flimsy tripod, tethered to the field monitor by a short and temperamental video output cord. We’ve set up three dedos. One bulb dies minutes after it’s switched on. Dawn’s adjusting the lights as needed, Emma’s keeping an eye on us all and talking with Gitta. And so we embark on this ultra-spastic shoot in which we trek around Gitta’s room, meticulously shooting small objects and spotlighting different parts of the house. We have no particular direction, just a sense that we need to cover everything. Hence we tie ourselves up in knots.. leads tangle with other leads and wrap around furniture as we change positions too rapidly to think. It’s the equivalent of brainstorming, with cameras.. and you shoot as you go. We had vague conceptions of what we wanted, but when you get into a specific location with specific lighting conditions and placement of objects, you’ve got to improvise.. negotiate with the environment.

Once we started projecting images onto walls, everything became really messed. At one point we had Emma operating the projector, handheld, mounted on her shoulder, firing images onto picture frames. Dawn followed her around as visual DJ — operating the laptop, selecting new images to project from youtube and a DVD I made.. Tim kept an eye on framing in the monitor, and I traversed the dense forest of leads and furniture, trying to find clean vantage points to shoot from with my sub-par tripod.

The result? apart from the initial grain-problems? Brilliant visuals. Really abstract, really strong and interesting. *But* I have no idea how we’ll integrate them into the holocaust story we’ve cut together… we’re going to need an awesome soundtrack to set the tone.. we’re going to need to cut it together amazingly, making everything stylistically cohesive. And we don’t have long.

I’m thinking that even if our overlays make no sense, they’ll stay in people’s heads. They’ll walk out of the final TV2 screening going “remember that one? you know, the one, with the intense images everywhere? yea. can’t remember what it was about, but it looked sickk”. And so on.
That’s an awful thing to say, since the story is everything, and no amount of eyecandy will make up for it. But at least it’s something different.. not your run-of-the-mill documentary.

Sabe os arquivos chamados de logonui.exe(os arquivos do system32 que altera as telas de logon)?Você não precisa substituir  nada por nada para aplicar a logon do tipo logonui.exe..É só clicar em Add e depois procurar no local do seu computador onde está o arquivo logonui.exe e aplicar e ser feliz..!

Yeah! o mesmo visual style também está incluido no Longhorn 4074 Pack for XP. v2! e também estou liberando ele separado para quem tem a versão 1 e não quer baixar a 2 ou mesmo para quem não tem e quer o visual style. O skin para Styler Toolbar também está incluido, acredite ele só fica perfeita neste visual style pois a skin  foi feita um tanto as pressas.

Mas fora isso está tudo ok e funcionando muito bem!

Obs: O tema não tem o efeito No-Text como mostra a imagem acima, isso acontece as vezes no Windows XP quando o explorer trava. Não é possivel fazer normalmente e nem é do tema isso. Pois o mesmo muitas vezes acontece com temas do Windows Vista no Windows XP.

Um visual style minimalista que dark e clear é mais recomendo para quem não se importa muito com o tema do computador, para quem gostar mesmo também ou até para quem não troca muito o tema do Windows, o que não é o meu caso.

Pessoal finalmente estou começando a andar para frente com o Seven Master Pack!Desta vez estou lançando o Seven Explorer for XP 1.0.Antes de lançar o pack do Longhorn 4074 o meu amigo Rafa criou duas versões do Explorer Mod.E eu resolvi criar a minha primeira.Vou tentar deixar o pack o mais leve possível.Mais eu não posso esquecer de nenhum dos recursos como o Notepad(bloco de notas)ícones(shell32.dll,que eu ja tenho pronta).
Estou colocando as minhas coisas agora somente no DeviantART.E eu acho bem melhor lá do que em outros servidores;
