George Bush may hate black people, but after last night’s outburst at the MTV VMA’s one thing is clear: Kanye West hates white people. He doesn’t like them at all, especially Taylor Swift. Somebody needs to miracle whip Kanye. Several times.

Kanye’s next music video should be a collaboration between he and R. Kelly. You may be asking yourself have Kanye West and R. Kelly collaborated before. The answer is probably yes. Either way, somebody has got to take a piss on that Kanye’s face.

Beyoncé fará uma apresentação ao vivo no evento, que acontecerá no dia 06 de novembro em Liverpool.

We know that one of the biggest star to hit the big screen lately is this very fine gentleman Zac Efron of High School Musical fame whose appearance whether on screen or in real life is guaranteed to cause madness among the younger ones (pre-teens perhaps, but if you ask us, ok he is quite cute). But, and thats a big ‘but’, you will never imagine Zac to hit the cover of GQ magazine because he is just not the image he is trying to market. It could be his hairstyle, his dress sense, his smile, you get the drift. But hey, at the recent MTV VMA, we saw a glimpse of what is to come – a more mature, grown-up Zac and we really dig that. Referencing the pictures below, just a change of hair style, and maybe some facial hair, and here you have a GQ-esque Zac. Can’t wait to see more of post-Musical Zac in the future years ahead.

This year the VMAs finally felt relevant again, stylewise at least. and the highlight for me, other than the great graphix packages for the nominees, was this year’s house band – TRVSDJAM, aka former Blink 182 drummer and watch-my-relationship-self-destruct-on-my-mtv-reality-show-that’s-supposed-to-show-what-a-great-relationship-i-have-with-my-wife, Travis Barker, and i-was-once-much-larger-and-went-out-with-the-littlest-woman-there-is-but-really-you-should-know-me-cause-i’m-a-pretty-talented-turntablist, DJ AM. The pair have been performing together for a while now, and it’s a pretty great match, since Travis is a madman drummer and Adam can cut it up with the best of them. Their musical tastes blend well together, and i gotta give it up to anyone that will cut up an acapella of Oasis’ Wonderwall over a dope breakbeat. They were also proved to be a great backing band to the likes of Lupe Fiasco and The Ting Tings, as well as Katy Perry as she covered Madonna’s Like a Virgin, while wearing undoubtedly the coolest Andy Warhol tribute dress i’ve ever seen. GNARLS BARKLEY – WHO’S GONNA SAVE MY SOUL!!  AMAZING VIDEO!!  THIS NEEDS TO BE SEEN SO BAD I MAY POST IT TWICE!!  Yes, it’s weird as hell, but that is Gnarls Barkley!  Doesn’t matter if you like or hate the band or even the song THIS IS ALL ABOUT THE VIDEO!!  TRUST ME!! It’s my favorite day of the week! I am indulging myself in writing only about celebrities and celebrity-related things that I love. I mean, it’s better than indulging in my love for hard liquor (although don’t be surprised if you one day read a post entitled “Ode to a Dirty Vodka Martini”) or my love for brie, guacamole and all things high in fat. Also, it’s really tough to indulge in the liquor habit at work – not impossible, but tricky to say the least. Let’s just say it takes practice.

So my first guilty pleasure? Ms. Britney Spears. Yes, you all know how much I adore her despite the abominable downward spiral and all the custody/divorce/emergency room drama.  I have been a loyal fan from the beginning, although my devotion did waiver when she was photographed bald, attacking a car with an umbrella. But hey, we’ve all been there, right? Just me? Hm, interesting.

Indulge my indulgence.

Kanye West: “Love Lock Down”

Kanye Just put “Love Lock Down” on his blog.  I personally think this is the worst vocals he has ever put on a track.  The beat is more than hot, but it sounds like he recorded the chorus on garageband with a scarf on his face.  I honestly laughed when he sang the chorus.  He’s  trying to cross genres again like he did from producer to rapper, but this is not working out.  I love Kanye West to the fullest, but just because you have a voice box doesn’t mean you’re a singer…Disappointing.  Hopefully his whole album won’t be like this.

Não teve quase nada que se salvasse! Vendo a Britney Spears ganhar 3 premios com ” Piece of me ‘ , que eu sinceramente não vi nada demais , parece que o VMA virou uma marma política , e não mais um reconhecimento aos artistas. Adorei a levantada que a Britney deu! Mas se a MTV quer se desculpar por ter escraxado ela por um bom tempo , que mande uma carta ! ( como disse o meu amigo Justin ) .

SInceramente, acho que o negócio tente a piorar! Vamos esperar o VMB08 , e ver se algo se salva também!

Xtina, ich bin zutiefst beleidigt, genauso wie alle, die Lady Gaga kennen…!!! Xtina Aguilera soll mal nicht denken, dass sie jetz auf einmal “coool” ist, nur weil sie auf modern macht und elektronisch…Sie hat ein Baby, was sie ohne mit der Wimper zu zucken uncool macht…SO!

I find myself compelled to update a post I wrote on May 19 about saggy pants – the phenomena of wearing your pants around or below your hips and butt.

I saw Lil Wayne, this weekend, on the VMA Awards, and I couldn’t stop laughing… AT HIM. As he descended down the spiral stairs at me, I couldn’t help but think, again about how fun it would have been to be in high school when that fashion was in full effect.

It would have been good sport to pull their pants down to their knees, push them over and then watch them try and scramble to chase. I understand some fashions are not functional, but some of them are just impractical.

Algúem viu a premiação da MTv gringa domingo?

Não sei se é porque os americanos são mais criativos, se é porque eles tem o orçamento absurdamente maior, simplesmente porque são mais competentes ou se é um poquinho de cada uma dessas coisas, mas, porra, eles sim sabem fazer uma festa. Da até dó da MTv Brasil. Dó não, vergonha alheia.

Pagação de pau à parte, esse ano a festa teve algumas coisas no mínimo curiosas, do meu humilde ponto de vista, claro.  

A Britney, por exemplo. Se ela continua dando de lôca, cheirando mais que o Maradona nos tempos de glória ou se ela continua sendo um exemplo de como não ser uma mãe, eu sinceramente não sei, mas é evidente que ela tá melhor.
Agora, os três prêmios que ela ganhou, pra mim, são suspeitos. Tudo bem, eu não gosto de música pop, mas Piece of Me é tão legal assim?
