Voici un site que je souhaite partager, VODEO.TV! Un site où l’on trouve tout type de documentaires [Nature, découverte, histoire, ....]. Ce sont des reportages à télécharger légalement (les tarifs vont de 0.99 à 5€, plus ou moins, selon le mode de téléchargement:c.a.d, streaming 48H; téléchargement disque dur; DVD).

Perso’, j’ai téléchargé plusieurs documentaires sur le Japon (ex: Le japon:Entre tradition et modernité; Le Japon: les années rouge; Japon: Quand la terre tremblera; Geishas…), ils étaient tous de très bonne qualité.

Ah et aussi chaque semaine il ya un documentaire gratuit à voir en streaming!

TV5 is a French-language international satellite TV station which screens content from channels in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Quebec and Francophonie countries.  It is available throughout most of the world, either as part of a local pay-for-satellite deal (e.g. Sky in the UK) or through a free-to-air satellite set-up – see my forthcoming blog on this topic.

It has some fantastic resources on its website, including short videos on vocabulary and other language questions in the  Langue Française  section (see the link near the top of the left menu sidebar on the home page).  The illustration  will give you a bit of a taste.

I specially like its Video on Demand pages when I’m away from home and can’t watch French TV life.  Theese are documentary programmes about francophone countries and cultures, on a pay-to-view or pay-to-record basis.  You can even order a programme on DVD.  The great thing is that they are available all round the world – most French stations’ video on demand won’t work when it works out that your computer is situated outside of France.
