É com muito orgulho que tô escrevendo nesse momento o primeiro post do blog da VYP.

Um blog que surgiu pra transmitir ainda melhor a cara da marca. Comunicativa, up to date, provocadora e sem limites.

Mas resolvi dedicar este primeiro post pra esclarecer o nosso nome.

Antes de tudo: não, VYP não é VIP escrito errado.

VYP vem de Viktor Yang Produções. Hoje tenho vergonha disso, mas é compreensível, eu tinha só 15 anos quando fundei a empresa. Não tinha muita noção de como dar um bom nome e resolvi ser egoísta e  colocar minhas iniciais.

O fato é que o nome pegou. VYP Eventos. E eu também me apeguei a ele. Não queria – e não quero – mudar.

Foi então que decidimos que íamos ficar com ele, mas precisávamos que, de alguma forma, ele traduzisse melhor nossas idéias. Foi então que pensamos em riscar o “Eventos” de VYP Eventos, e ficar só com VYP. “Eventos” era meio mainstream.

Mas VYP tinha que dizer alguma coisa.

Foi então que vi o nome de um álbum de alguma rapper americana chamado VYP também.

Queria dizer Voice of the Young People.

Não é perfeito?

É tudo que queremos dizer. Que valorizamos a voz (som, e tal) da gurizada atual. E de quebra ainda tinha o Young fazendo referência ao meu nome do meio ;D

E assim, VYP surgiu, mudou e tá aí, ouvindo, falando e fazendo acontecer.

First and foremost, CONGRATULATIONS TO QUEST CREW!!! Yes, they are this year’s America’s Best Dance Crew! I’m still not over it. I got in so much votes, and I know other people who committed their time to voting as well. Quest Crew dominated every episode, but that’s a whole other post in itself. What I want to talk about is Lil’ Mama.

Lil’ Mama is not afraid of fashion. Those who watched MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew know that. From season one of the show, there’s is one thing that I noticed. She loves bling! From her hats, to her jackets, to her jewelry, you can tell this girl loves bling.

Here’s a picture of her wearing a kitty necklace with crystals. We actually sold this on our site, but unfortunately sold out. =[ For those who don't know, Lil' Mama is a rapper/singer/songwriter/dancer and TV personality. Unlike other female rappers who are, I guess, "raunchy" or "hardcore," she keeps her style very feminine, proving so with her hit single, "Lip Gloss."

Being only 19 years old and achieving what she has, she considers herself a "Voice of the Young People." With that being the title of her debut album, she wants to set an example, not just for young females, but for young people in general. As you can see in this picture, she looks very mature. Her simple choker necklace and matching bracelet complements that green dress well don't you think? Plus she never forgets her hoop earrings.

Okay, okay, she doesn't always have her hot moments. Now, you're probably thinking to yourself, "WTF?" That's exactly what I though when I saw this picture, but look closely at her outfit. You'll see BLING! Even her random pacifier has bling on it. What a trip.

Below are some photos of her from ABDC. Every single outfit consist of bling. Let me break down her style... But before I do, let me just get it straight. I didn't say she was a fashion icon, I said she was a lover of bling. You can decide. Now let's continue...

Here is a picture of her, JC Chasez, and Shane Sparks back in season 1 of the show. She was well known then for her blinged out hats. Notice her hoops earrings, something we always have handy on the site. Even her jacket/blouse even has bling.

Now, I didn't get any pics from season 2 because, honestly, I was not a fan of season 2. So let's skip on to season 3. For the first episode, Lil' Mama rocked a teal Betsy Johnson dress. As you can see in the picture, she wore layers of necklaces and layers of bracelets. Even her hair bow has crystals on it. She's even rocking a ring. Ladies, this is how you wear your bracelets. Layers. Just hope you won't shed a tear when you wear them.

Episode 2. I don't need to point out the bling here. It's obvious, is it not? But what I do want to point out is her teardrop earrings. I wonder where she got it from.

In episode 3, also known as the "Britney Spears episode," Lil' Mama rocked this year's Spring trend: FLOWERS. Although her approach was a little too tropical considering it's still Winter, the colors she wore complemented each other well. She wasn't shy with her bracelets again, and she wore a geometric ring to complement the crystals on her top. Stuff you can find on our site as well.

Now episode 4 was a trip. Lil' Mama wore a florescent stewardess outfit. Although I do like the bling, I don't recommend the norm to wear this outfit. As you can see, she didn't wear much jewelry, only a ring (which you can't see in this picture). I guess when your outfit is over-the-top, accessories will be an over kill. Not a good thing.

Lil' Mama amuses me, and in episode 5, she shows you why. Aside from her assorted feather head piece, this outfit really isn't bad. She knows how to put bling together. She has the ring, the bracelets, and the hoop earrings. Her bolero jacket and dress have bling as well. Again, I would not recommend this outfit for the norm. However, the jewelry looks great.

She tones things down in episode 6 using neutral colors; however, she doesn't tone down the bling (trust me, that's a good thing). Her lapel isn't the only thing blingin'. She's wearing a bold ring that makes a statement, and again, layers of bracelets. Don't be shy with your accessories, ladies. You'll be surprised what you can come up with.

Without looking at the bling on her orange jacket (a color to look out for this year), don't miss the jewelry. The bracelets and the ring. It's all about accessories this year. Remember that. Even Shane got himself some bling.

Now for the finale! She looked very refined and classic. Again, didn't shy away from the bling. She has to wear bracelets. She wore a bold ring. She went for smaller earrings, which is good. Also, her head piece isn't overpowering. Classic.

There you have it -- The many bling fashions of Lil' Mama. It's all about the bling. Now, if it's blingin' that you need, you know where to go. ;]

todays trip took us to Kingsbridge just two days short of finishing ‘the lap’ back at Oli’s place in London.
Lucky as we are and have been throughout the journey, Oli’s uncle lives in Kingsbridge which providesus with free accommodation and food, a proper BBQ that is. It all comes with chats about almost anything in a backyard looking over the valley.
It has been another terrific day riding through parts of Cornwall and Devon for 7 hours, seeing some of the beautiful coast of this country. It even included a ferry neither of us expected, close to St. Mawes, a place Oli knows from childhood (bless…). A picturesque harbour village as nice as you could imagine. Besides that it’s been those high-hedged narrow roadwhich are typical for
this part of the world. Mevagissey was the next stop, another of Oli’s memories coming back to life…
Sunshine all the is the biker’s best friend and we’ve had plenty of that all day – excellent!
On we went towards Kingsbridge driving past familiar places as we’ve both been here just a year ago for the annual VYP. Saltash that’s been, working at Liskeard, which we drove right through today. Recalling the Morissons toilet is what prevented major accident, by the way…
It would be another hour to Kingsbridge at that time with both of us being slightly exhausted. All the way through Plymouth and further down and we’d get to the destination, finally.
Right now we’re sitting over a can of cider (the yummi stuff, you know) and the BBQ is burning next to a beautiful sunset.

Ok, what the fuck Lil Mama.  What the fuck?!  I kind of like you but don’t know yet if I am sure I can marry you.  I need a proper proposal bitch, don’t keep me waiting.

Anyways, what the fuck kind of secret does this bitch have that she is telling us to SHHH for?  You know what, I hate this fucking pose and it drives me totally and utterly insane everytime I see it.  I blame the bloody goddamn Spicegirls (or the Salty Maids as they are known now).  Bunton!  Damnitt Bunton!

And the coloured contact lenses!  Don’t get me started…don’t even get me started!

UNYK a maintenant sa propre application Facebook: “very unYk person”, ou VYP. L’idée derrière VYP est de permettre aux réseaux d’utilisateurs regroupés sur Facebook d’utiliser les fonctionnalités de partage de coordonnées du carnet d’adresses intelligent UNYK.

Voici comment VYP fonctionne:

• Les utilisateurs qui installent l’application choisissent certains de leurs amis et leur accordent un statut de VYP.

• Les VYP se retrouvent dans une boîte sur le profil de l’utilisateur, et des invitations leur sont envoyées pour leur demander de compléter leurs informations personnelles (adresse, numéro de téléphone, etc.).

• Les utilisateurs peuvent accéder aux coordonnées de leurs VYP qui ont accepté leur invitation. Bien sur, ils ne peuvent accéder que l’information que leur VYP veulent partager avec eux.

Grâce à VYP, les utilisateurs de Facebook peuvent partager plus de coordonnées, qu’ils ne mettraient normalement pas sur leur profil Facebook, avec les personnes qu’ils ont choisit. Cet accès aux coordonnées est privilégié: Uniquement les utilisateurs de VYP qui se sont échanger des invitations ont accès à ces informations personelles.

Introducing UNYK’s very own Facebook application: very unYk person, or VYP for short. The idea behind VYP is to bring the information-sharing fonctionnality of UNYK’s smart address book to the networks of people assembled on Facebook.

Here is how it works:

• Users who install the app choose a select number of friends who become their VYP’s.

• The VYP’s are featured in a box on the user’s profile, and invitations are sent out to them to request their contact information (address, phone number, etc.).

• From his profile, the user can access all the personal contact information for any VYP that has accepted his invitation. Of course, he would only have access to information that his VYP wants to share with him.

With VYP, Facebook users can share more contact information, which they would not normally have up on their facebook profiles, with only the people they want to. This access to contact information is privileged: No one else but users of VYP who have exchanged information can have access to that personal information.
