A little while ago BoingBoing posted an image from the cover of “W” magazine clearly (seriously) showing that Demi Moore’s (awesomely still hot after like 50 years on this planet) hip was altered to look thinner, much like the Ralph Lauren ad that was beyond laughable…

Lawyers representing Demi Moore sent a threatening letter to Boing Boing over the holidays which demanded that we remove a post I published in November, or face legal consequences. In the referenced Boing Boing post, I published photographer Anthony Citrano’s speculation that a recent W Magazine cover image of the actress may have been crudely manipulated by magazine staff to alter her hip, and appear thinner.

What I don’t really get is that there was clearly no reason to alter her in the first place, Demi Moore is literally impossibly hot, she actually has gotten better looking as she has gotten older. Seriously, look at her in the Ghost era:

Love Love Love this shoot, the denim is just sweating me like crazy to go shopping (Previous jeans addict) lol, the clothes look hot, the models, the set and to think its only for a spread in W Magazine and not an ad campaign is kind of a shock. with some colour adjustments and cropping it could easily fit in, don’t know why but it reminds me of Guess ad’s for some reason, anyway dubbed “Beyond Blue” this shoot stars Constance Jablonski and is featured in W’s January issue 2010.

I have such a penchant for the ‘buttery beige shading’ of the above line up. It’s all powdery, soft and fluid and I imagine that is exactly how one would feel in these ensembles.

Even though they had these four ladies from Nine together, it still looks like they've been Photoshopped from separate shoots and it's best not to focus too closely on Nicole Kidman's face. Yikes.

To me, it is the answer to the question;  “What Happens When A Fish and Bird Fall In Love?” because I think it looks like wings and scales. Marc Jacobs: First off, the bow ruins it for me… cover it up and this looks MUCH better! Tights and shoes are really cool though either way!
Found this sequin dress on StyleCaster yesterday. It’s Rodarte for Target and is going to retail for $50! Gotta love it!
Snagged this off of Lookbook. This girl does a great job of adding just the right amount of sparkle to her otherwise understated outfit. Really loving her hair too!

Demi Moore is on the cover of W Magazine, but is it really her? Many bloggers are arguing that Moore’s body looks exactly like Anja Rubik’s.

Rubik is the fashion model who donned the same Balmain dress on the Paris runway earlier this year. According to an article in The Telegraph, people are arguing the neck, collarbone, and arms are all identical. Could Moore’s head be photoshopped right on to Rubik’s body? If this were true, I don’t think anyone would be surprised.

Did anyone see Charlie’s Angels? Demi Moore looks great, her head does not need to be posted on a 26-year-old model’s body.

Matters are becoming so extreme, that a Los Angeles photographer even offered to donate $5,000 to charity if Moore could prove her body was not digitally retouched.

In the harsh times of recession, a fashionista must be inventive to look ‘designer’ without spending much money. The September 2009 issue of W magazine shows us how to do that with the help of empty designer bags in the editorial ‘Paper Bag Princess.’ The editorial features model Sasha Pivovarova, with photography by Craig McDean and styling by Alex White.

Botox. Ecco perchè Cindy Crawford è sempre perfetta. L’ex modella ha dichiaro a GQ di averne fatto uso per 10 anni. Contraria alla chirurgia invasiva, dice di aver preferito questo trattamento “soft” per combattere le rughe e far fronte alle “pressioni esterne”. Che la volevano perfetta, sempre.

E sempre in tema di bellezze “finte” Demi Moore è apparsa sulla copertina di W Magazine in una forma smagliante. Troppo.

Si è parlato inizialmente di un abuso di photoshop, ma si pensava che le avessero “solo”  limato un po’ i fianchi.

Si è scoperto, grazie al sito di gossip buzzfeed.com, che c’era ben altro. Una sostituzione totale di corpo. Insomma, la testa di Demi è stat incollata sul corpo di una modella di 26 anni. Un po’ triste come cosa.

Forse la proposta del governo francese non è poi così sbagliata. É stato proposto di inserire in calce ad ogni foto ritoccata la computer una dicitura simile a quella dei pacchetti di sigarette “Attenzione, questa foto non è reale”. Per combattere la corsa verso modelli di bellezza impossibili da raggiungere proprio perchè non esistono.

• Todo lo que brilla: La Federación de la Costura Francesa anunció esta semana que durante la próxima edición de la Fashion Week de Haute Couture se incluirán las presentaciones de las creaciones más extravagantes de las joyas de Boucheron, Cartier, Chanel joyería, Chaumet, Christian Dior.

La Fédération dice que la adición de estas piezas creará una “verdadera semana de lujo”.

El próximo 28 de enero (la próxima edición de la semana de la moda se lleva a cabo del 24 al 28 de ese mes) será exclusivamente dedicado a las presentación de los joyeros.

• Photoshop much?

El último escándalo photoshopero esta vez es protagonizado por la Revista W, la actriz de 47 años Demi Moore y la modelo Anja Rubik.

Al parecer, según dicen los que quieren opinar, la portada de la última edición de W estaría retocada de manera exagerada: arrugas, caderas, ¡hasta el cuerpo entero!

Los representantes de W  declararon que  ”no se hizo nada raro o fuera de lo común en Demi Moore para la foto en la portada”.

Sin embargo muchos se han preguntado qué es exactamente lo que la revista hizo para que la cadera de Demi casi desapareciera de la foto, luego la falta de cualquier tipo de arrugas en la cara o el cuerpo de Demi, en particular el área de la axila (lo normal para una mujer de 47-años).

La teoría ha ido un poco más lejos y distintos medios sugieren que la Revista W photoshopeó la cara de Demi en el cuerpo de Anja Rubik, la modelo que lució el mismo vestido en el desfile de Balmain.

Según la revista “no hay necesidad de contratar a Demi Moore que haga una tapa para luego cambiarla totalmente” pero los expertos en retoques fotográficos de las celebridades dicen que esto sucede muy a menudo.

La obsesión por mostrar una imagen de eterna juventud está completamente fuera de control.

la edición 2010 del  Calendario Pirelli ya ha salido a luz, este año fotografiado por primera vez por el desinhibido y audaz Terry Richardson quién ha tomado las instantáneas, al igual que su última editorial de la Revista Purple dónde se ve una orgía de chicas, con reconocidas modelos… desnudas.

E’ il caso di W Magazine che mette in copertina, per il mese di Dicembre, una foto taroccata di Demie Moore. “47 anni, ma sembra una ragazzina”

E ragazzina infatti, di corpo lo è proprio, come ci svela BuzzFeed. Il volto è il suo, ma Il corpo è quello di una modella di 26 anni, Anja Rubik.

Eh, eh !! Le bugie hanno le gambe corte (e, questa volta, anche un po’ troppo secche)

É depois da super polêmica em torno da campanha de Ralph Lauren,surge outra. Agora com Demi Moore. Ela que é capa da revista W de dezembro está toda trabalhada no photoshop,desconfiam que a imagem da Anja Rubik’s do desfile da Balmain tenha sido sobre-exposta sobre a foto de Demi. Mas vai saber né,já que a própria desmentiu que tivesse acontecido isso.

O que seria do mundo se não houvesse o Photoshop!?

Was Demi Moore’s head photoshopped onto Anja Rubik’s body?

When is anyone every thin enough? As demands on models grow to the extremes, they keep getting thinner. But even the thinnest of the top models aren’t cutting it in the fashion industry these days. They’re being photoshopped to half their size and made to appear inhuman, like some animated character. That’s what Ralph Lauren model Filippa Hamilton looks like to me in their new advertisement – an animated figure in some movie.

Many are now shocked over the latest cover of W magazine, featuring Demi Moore. Or is it really Demi Moore? Doesn’t it look more like Anja Rubiks body, and Demi Moore’s head and photoshopped face? I think so. W magazine claim they did not do anything out of the ordinary on Demi Moore for her cover of W. But you’ve got to wonder… why is her right hip more rounded than the indent left hip?

I for one have never noticed before that Anja Rubik and Demi Moore have the exact same body shape, down to the collarbones.

This was the cover of W Magazine for February 2009, shot by Chuck Close, it’s an honest portrayal of age and an interesting choice by Mr. Pitt given the fact that his profession is all about youth. The fact that he requested to have Close do one of his infamously, unforgiving portrait sessions is rather admirable. Although it doesn’t match the genius of Close’s Kate Moss images, these photos of Pitt are some my favorites of the year.

Demi, puoi dire quello che vuoi, puoi sostenere quante volte vuoi che quella foto non è ritoccata, ma ormai sei credibile come Courtney Love… Sopratutto dopo che, guarda caso, scappa fuori una foto come quella sopra!!

La question est sur toutes les lèvres aux Etats-Unis : est-ce bien le corps de Demi Moore qui est représenté en une du magazine américain W? Depuis la semaine dernière, l’Amérique doute de la véracité de la photo et semble certain que le corps de Demi Moore -qui apparaît pour le moins amaigri- a été retouché. « Faux ! », s’est exclamée l’actrice de 47 ans. Visiblement agacée, Demi Moore a répliqué sur son Twitter en postant la photo originale de la couverture. De leur côté, la rédaction du magazine a affirmé qu’il n’avait « rien fait d’inhabituel ou d’extraordinaire sur la photo ». Seulement voilà : l’affaire prend des proportions lorsque le site Oh no they didn’t laisse sous-entendre que non seulement la photo a été retouchée, mais que ce n’est pas le corps de Demi Moore que l’on voit mais celui du mannequin Anja Rubik, qui a porté la robe lors du défilé Balmain, en octobre dernier… En superposant les deux photos, le résultat est troublant.
