[DEUTSCH] Eine andere faszinbierende Hausstatue fand ich im zweiten Bezirk in der Zirkusgasse.

[ENGLISH] Another fascinating wall monument I found in the second district in the Zirkusgasse (literally circus lane).

When you look at all e.g. old baroque premises in Vienna you see that they are according to the period of the time when they were constructed decorated with statues. The picture above shows a really ugly-colored building located on the Rasumofskygasse (a street in Vienna’s third district. I guess it was built around 1950, but I’m not sure. But this building has an interesting monument attached to it, too. On the right is the sign for Vienna’s subway (U is German for U-Bahn).

Mauer-Statue in der Rasumofskygasse

Wenn du dir zum Beispiel die alten barocken Gebäude in Wien ansiehst, kannst du erkennen, dass sie mit, ihrer Entstehungszeit ensprechenden, Statuen beschmückt sind. Das obere Bild zeigt ein richtig hässlich-angestrichenes Gebäude, welches in der Rasumofskygasse im 3. Bezirk steht. Ich denke es wurde um die 1950 errichtet, aber ich bin mir nicht sicher. Aber dieses Gebäude hat auch eine interessante Statue an ihm. Rechts ist das Zeichen für Wiens U-Bahn.
