So, yesterday I went to my girlfriend’s, Evelyn, for Thanksgiving dinner. The dinner was lovely and filled with family and friends, because she is such a good cook.  The turkey was  very moist, not dry, and the dressing was fabulous, along with a slamming macaroni and cheese.  Well, of course, I stuff my stomach too much and so I had to take a break from the turkey and dressing to save room for dessert.  I waited about one hour and I was back at the food table ready for my sugar rush.  When I first arrived my eyes had caught a glimpse of this yummy German Chocolate cake and now I was ready for a taste.  The cake was moist with a rich chocolate  flavor and creamy caramel coconut icing that was mouth-watering.  Let me just tell you that the cake was well worth the wait.

     I was walking back to my apartment from dinner and began thinking about some new designs that I wanted to start working on when I arrived home.   So, I arrive home and walk into the sewing room, I look at my sewing table and I see this clutch purse I just finished before dinner.  I stopped and just smile associating the chocolate purse with the chocolate cake.  I knew I should have taken a piece home with me!  Check out “Josette” and all of my latest designs at www.juliasherrydesigns.etsy.com.

November 24, 2009 A GROUP of transsexual sex workers in Chow Kit are using pornographic films to distract clients before robbing them, reported Harian Metro.

Members of the group would seduce the victim while another sex worker would try to steal belongings like wallets and handphones.

In a recent incident, a client known as Ping said he was asked to lie on the bed before choosing a free DVD pornographic movie to watch as a “warm-up”.

“The sex worker told me to take off my pants. It was then placed on a chair nearby,” said the 33-year-old chef.

Ping declined to elaborate on what happened next, but said he reached for his pants only to find that his handphone was missing from the pocket when he heard loud noises that sounded like a fight outside the room.

“I was even more surprised to find that my wallet, which was originally in my pocket, was moved to the top of the television set. Some RM400 was also gone,” he said.

After Ping repeatedly demanded the sex worker to return his valuables, she finally agreed to give them back, claiming that her friend had stolen them.

Dear Princeton Review,

I know you’ve said “Town-Gown Relations Are Strained” between Evanston residents and Northwestern students. But I just want you to know I think you’ve underestimated Evanston; anonymous local do-gooders have gotten this hapless Northwestern student out of many a scrape now, most notably going out of their way to return both my lost wallet and my lost phone to me, completely intact. Maybe in the past there have been some scuffles between the institutional Northwestern and the institutional Evanston, but on the real-life level, this NU student can honestly say she would be all but hopeless without the warm-hearted folks of this windy little North Shore suburb.

More than a week ago I bought this ecological red leather. Normally I buy fabric when I can easily imagine what it can become, but this time the texture and the color made me buy it and then fantasize (sic!) about the things it can become.

Hey all!  I sometimes get these hair brain ideas at the oddest of times.  Inspiration that comes from who knows where, lol.    So this wallet was born into a pattern in just a few days. 

So this pattern is really easy!   I am even going to say that a “beginner” could make this pattern.   There are not a lot of pattern pieces, just ONE!  Your iron will be your best friend.  Also, you finally get to use some of your “measuring” skills you learned in grade school

The company, Certify.com, announced the replacement of their Certify Personal product with the newest “Certify Wallet.” With this newest feature from them, receipts storing and expense management will be much easier than ever.
