Out of the blue, Courtney Love posted a bizarre truth about Britney Spears on her Facebook. The widow of Kurt Cobain claimed that Britney was molested by her own father Jamie while she was a child struggling to be a pop star. “Britney’s dad molested her,” Courtney wrote in the message filled with typo errors and misspelling. “Imagine – the father that molested you owning you for slavery while you’re forced to sing songs picked for their sexual content – every night, insane, right? I have it on first-hand authority. And fight as hard as she is, she still didn’t pull that card. It’s a pride thing I can relate to.”
She added the part where she said she is ready to face legal matters as the consequences of her statement. “They want to play dirty? let’s go! I’m SO not afraid of the little trolls who hit this…who are called lawyers. let’s GO!!”

There is no response yet from Britney’s camp, but they also didn’t make comment when Courtney first took a jab at her. On November 14, Courtney spread a hate message, writing “Just for YOUR amusement; BRITNEY SPEARS! whataa C***, right? LINDSEY LOHAN? wh**e douchebag, RIGHT? Paris HILTON? airhead wh**e, RIGHT? MICHEAL JACKSON<<<<< what a peadophile evil c**t right? yeah /// dude…!”

Anyone who says that vinyl will never die is right. You don’t have to be a DJ to notice that the turntable is an icon of modern music culture — it has been elevated from its original intention as a lowly playback device to a musical instrument that is glorified by pop culture at large. Clearly, there’s something special about vinyl, but why do people hang on to this archaic 19th-century technology when modern tools like CD players and automatic computer software are everywhere?

Questions like these have been at the heart of arguments between vinyl purists and digital devotees for years. Fortunately, enterprising software engineers and savvy hardware companies have brought forth the best of both worlds with digital vinyl systems that allow DJs to control digital audio files with traditional analog vinyl.
One of the most common, and the current industry standard throughout the world is Rane — purveyor of some of the finest scratch DJ mixers available — and the high-end DSP coders at Serato, best known for its groundbreaking Pitch ‘n Time plug-in. Both manufacturers are leaders in their fields of expertise, and both continue that legacy by offering a digital vinyl system with rock-solid performance and unique tools aimed squarely at the turntablist market.

The Scratch Live hardware is a small, unassuming black box that’s slightly larger than a VHS cassette. The unit sports six pairs of RCA jacks for connecting to turntables and a mixer, a USB port to communicate with the host computer and a power jack for a wall-wart power supply. There’s also a ¼-inch input for connecting an external microphone. The hardware has an all-metal construction and, like all of Rane’s equipment, appears to be built to withstand the apocalypse. It’s large enough that it won’t be misplaced easily yet compact enough to fit conveniently in a record bag or a laptop carrier. The only glaring omission is the lack of a packaged power supply, a required accessory if you plan to play regular records through the unit without a laptop attached. Something I’ve managed to fix by visiting the local JayCar store with the power specifications.

Patching in the hardware isn’t all that difficult, but it does require a little cable jockeying and free access to the phono and line inputs on the DJ mixer. The unit plays audio from the computer through the mixer’s line inputs and acts as a pass-through for phono inputs, so if you need to throw some old-fashioned analog grooves into the mix, it’s as simple as switching from line to phono on your mixer.

One look at the vinyl that ships with Scratch Live, and it’s clear that Rane has spent a lot of time listening closely to what professional DJs want in a digital vinyl system. The Scratch Live records offer a wealth of information at a glance — thin, visible grooves mark each minute on the vinyl, and thicker grooves indicate five-minute marks. This feature is a serious help when needle-dropping to find a specific spot in a track.

One side of the vinyl is 15 minutes in length and the other is 10. The code on each record is identical (the grooves on the 10-minute side are simply further apart), so if one side becomes scratched or worn, you can flip it over and keep mixing. Because you’re not playing music from the records themselves, it doesn’t matter how worn the records become. As long as the system can still hear valid code from the coded vinyl, the music played from the Scratch Live system will sound as good as the day you recorded it.

The 10-minute side of the disc also has a special “vinyl select” area that allows you to choose songs without ever touching the laptop. Moving the record back and forth in this area skips forward and backward in the song browser. This very cool feature is great for DJs who would rather spend less time hunting and pecking on a laptop keyboard and more on the decks.

One of the primary reasons for switching from old-fashioned vinyl to a digital system like Scratch Live is the convenience of having thousands of records at your fingertips without the back-breaking work associated with carrying around an entire room’s worth of vinyl. There’s nothing quite like having the perfect record for the perfect moment, and Scratch Live gives you that power and flexibility

All of this tech wizardry is useless if the system does not perform like real vinyl. And Scratch Live simply steals the show when it comes to delivering flawless music with low latency. Cueing and scratching with Scratch Live is literally just like working with real vinyl. The system is so stable and responsive that it’s easy to completely forget that you’re working with MP3s streamed off of a computer and not analog music stamped on wax.

Scratch Live is a robust digital vinyl system that easily holds its own against competing products. The system’s unusual interface takes some getting used to, but many DJs will find the unique features — such as frequency-colored waveforms, beat-matching tools and marker points — well worth the effort. The hardware is built like a tank and leaves little to be desired, aside from a built-in power supply, and the sound and responsiveness of the system is second to none.

There really isn’t much to dislike about Scratch Live, I’ve been using it since the beginning of 2009, about 5 years or so after seeing it used in a nightclub I previously worked in, but it seems like the best solution for me, the mobile and nightclub DJ who simply doesn’t have the room in the car for all my vinyl or CDs. I have used most of the available forms to DJ that are available today – Vinyl, CDs, and computer software.

No matter what other DJs say to me who aren’t using it, you are really DJing. Even I get annoyed when you go to a party or nightclub and see the “DJ” using an auto-mixing piece of software on a computer or laptop. Serato does not do auto mix for you and what you see is what you get. If you were a mediocre DJ on real Vinyl and CDs then you will be exactly that with Serato. It is simply a simpler way of moving to the future without killing the art form known as the Disc Jockey.

If you’re looking for a solid, reliable digital vinyl system from a company with an intimate understanding of the turntablist’s needs, Scratch Live could be the one for you.

Mr. John Safran, how are you sir?
John Safran: Well, I just spoke to someone from The Age who saw the first two episodes and said she thought the show was outrageous. Apparently she was really disturbed by it. It’s really weird.

Really? So you didn’t learn from the exorcism episode of your last series?
Clearly not. And this is a bit different to the last three shows which were on SBS, where people had to actively seek me out. Race Relations is going to be on the ABC in the middle of the week, which is kind of like nailing a billboard up in the city square. It’s a much more public space. It’s going to be interesting.

But your stuff is smart and funny. Have you felt compelled to make each series more controversial than the one before?
Not really. They just end up there. Race Relations actually started out as a book, which evolved into a TV show. While researching the book, I went out and did a few interviews, during which I obviously humiliated myself, and each time I was like, “Why aren’t I filming this?” For some reason when you’re being filmed it’s way less humiliating because people just assume you’re doing it for television. Whereas if you just have your notepad and you stand up at a public talk, people really think you have a screw loose. Anyway, when you start editing something like this, you kind of just have to go with the strong stuff. You know what I mean?

Surely that’s what people want to see. So, for this show you turned black, female, and elephant man. How did that go for you?
Well the black episode was one of the first things we filmed and we pulled it off so we were really excited for the rest of the show. When I was growing up and had my hip-hop posse, my friends used to tell me to stop acting black. The idea was to really experience what it’s really like to walk in someone else’s shoes so I go undercover in Barack Obama’s hometown, Chicago.

Were you a convincing black man?
Yeah, well, we realized pretty quickly that it’s pretty easy to make someone look black for camera but that it’s much more difficult to look black to another black person who’s standing five centimeters away from you. We tried everything from really low rent stuff, which didn’t work at all, so finally ended up with the guys who won the academy award for prosthetics on Benjamin Button. One of them flew to Australia and took a face cast and did his thing. It started off as a five-minute story but because it ended up being so expensive, we made a bigger deal of it and it became an entire episode. Which made it cheap.

Sounds great.
Yeah, well I actually failed. I think that’s probably why comedy is so screwed up – people who can’t be funny are trying to be funny and people who are actually funny are out there trying to prove what artists they are by being bleak and dark. With this show, I just wanted it to be funy – that’s it. As it turns out though there’re some really awkward moments and towards the end it kind of becomes unwatchable.

In one episode you get crucified, which is pretty insane.
Yeah, I was thinking that this is why I’m fucked in the head and never get anywhere. As most people get more successful and more shows, they use their leverage to try to get more money or a better deal or whatever. I, however use my leverage to try to do things they wouldn’t let me do last time. For example, I didn’t have the leverage in the town during Vs God to be nailed to a cross but now that I’m older and have my own production company, I can sit there and threaten people with not going with their network or whatever if they don’t let me do stuff on the show. It makes no sense. I use my leverage to fuck myself over.

But do you come to any grand realizations?
I’m not going to give that away but I do think that whatever shit goes down when it’s on air it’ll all ultimately be OK because it all leads to something. It’s actually full of pathos and might throw people around a bit but it’s all for a reason. The good thing is that I’m going to have a copy in my hand so regardless of what happens, I plan to get it out there.

As a Jewish guy, if you don’t marry a Jewish girl, what would your mum’s preference of partner be in terms of race, religion, and sex? A gay, non-Jewish guy presumably being at the bottom of the list.
Ha, yeah I guess after that would come a gay Jewish man, then Arab and Persian. I guess a non-Arab Muslim is probably better than an Arab Muslim. Then you get up to Asian. But then maybe it’s better just to go with someone who no one’s going to ask questions about. You could argue that at least an Arab girl could pass as Jewish, whereas if you bring an Asian into the room, you’re really making an announcement. Just watch the show maybe.

Is this going to make it easier for you to get girlfriends do you think?
No, not only will I not be able to get a girlfriend, I’m not going to be able to make eye contact at anyone at parties. It’s just going to be too embarrassing.

Cheers mate…..

thanks to the vibe crew for putting this together!

It has been raining for the last 24 hours and im sorry to tell you but if this rain keeps up we will definately be flooded by november 25, 2012…..yes 2012, im hoping that the rain slows up as i really dont wanna have to buy a boat.

The greatest serial killer in history has never been named. But what if we are looking in the wrong place?

In 1888, a deranged killer stalked his prey on the streets of east London at night. After 121 years since the murder and mutilation of at least five prostitutes, the case remains unsolved and the true identity of Jack the Ripper has never been known. The world’s greatest criminal investigators have focused on searching for answers in London. However, in the 1890s a series of horrific murders took place across the United States in New York, San Francisco, Galveston and Atlanta, that mirrored the attacks in attacks in the UK. In this one hour special, Discovery Channel’s viewers will witness the new evidence, science and analytical techniques being used to reveal the true identity of Jack the Ripper.

NYPD Cold Case Detective Ed Norris

The Discovery Channel’s documentary, Jack the Ripper in America focuses on Detective Ed Norris, former head of the NYPD Cold Case Unit, who investigates and uncovers new evidence not seen since the time of the murders. In trying to solve the 118 year old murder of New York prostitute Carrie Brown, he begins to note the similarities between her murder and the famous Whitechapel murders in London. Brown’s murderer had a three-stage MO (strangled, penetrating wound, pulled apart) Because of the unusual and gruesome nature of the crime, the press of the day, immediately began asking the question, “Is Jack the Ripper in New York“. Norris sees the same unusual ‘signature‘ in both the London and New York killers. They both kill prostitutes by strangling, cutting the throat, and eviscerating the body. For Norris this indicates that he might be looking at the same killer.

Carrie Brown aka Old Shakespeare

The key in all cold cases is finding the clues missed by the original investigators. Although, Brown was murdered on April 23, 1891, Norris decides to let a new set of eyes look at the evidence. Enter Dr. Jonathan Hayes, the Manhattan Senior Medical Examiner. Dr. Hayes combs through the autopsy report of Carry Brown. He reaches some interesting conclusions, including a special marking on the body, which I won’t reveal here, you’ll have to watch the show. On August 7th, 1891, another unidentified prostitute is murdered with the same MO as Brown, and pulled from the East river. Visiting the New York Municipal Archives, Norris finds that the old newspapers of that time, reveal another shocking detail. The killer actually wrote to the NYPD, before the murder of Carry Brown. His letter is recreated below:

Capt. Ryan,

You think that “Jack the Ripper” is in England, but he is not, I am right here and I expect to kill somebody by Thursday next, and so get ready for me with your pistols, but I have a knife that has done more than your pistols. Next thing you will hear of some woman dead.

Yours truly,

Jack the Ripper

Richard Jones

Detective Norris wants to get into Jack’s head, and walk in his foot steps. He feels that he was an organized killer that took advantage of the conditions of the time: no ambient street lighting, a black curtain of smoke over the city caused by burning low quality coal, and counting on his victims to naturally take him to the dark, secluded places used in the prostitution trade. Norris takes viewers through a summary of the Ripper murders by using re-enactments and walking through the crime scenes. Next, Norris consults London historian Richard Jones, owner of Ripper Walking Tours and author of Uncovering Jack the Ripper’s London. Jones has spent more than two decades investigating the Whitechapel murders. He asks Jones if any of the serious Ripper suspects had ever traveled to the United States after the death of Mary Kelly. Jones provided him with three names: Severin Klosowski, Francis Tumblety, and James Kelly.

Known as the From Hell or Lusk Letter

Norris then consults with Sheila Kurtz, a Forensic Hand Writing Analyst, Master Graphologist and President of Graphology Consulting Group. Kurtz had successfully worked on the Son of Sam case among many others. After reviewing samples of the Ripper’s hand writing, Kurtz identified the writer as a very disturbed individual, who she said, “I wouldn’t want to be in his company“. For additional details on her analysis please visit her blog. The graphic to the left shows the letter was purportedly written in 1888 by Jack the Ripper.

Dr. Thomas Bond

Norris then paid a visit to Britain’s National Archives. The archives hold thousands of original documents in the Ripper case. There, Norris discovers a document not previously used in the investigation. A profile of the killer. Sir Robert Anderson, the head of the police Criminal Investigation Departments, asked Dr Thomas Bond, Britain’s top police surgeon in 1888 to examine material connected with the Whitechapel murder investigation. Bond wrote a 19th-century version of a modern day unsub profile, based on personally examining the body of Mary Kelly and reading the autopsy reports on the first four victims. In the report, he describes in detail the type of person they should be investigating. Dr. Bond was sure that all five women had been killed by the same hand, because the throats of all victims had been cut in a similar way and the victims were presumably lying down when murdered. (for additional details on Dr. Bond’s profile, click here to read the report) Norris ultimately uses this 121 year old profile to narrow the three suspects down to one name. James Kelly. In the world of police parlance, Norris says that “Kelly looks good“.

Jack the Ripper victims: Polly Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catharine Eddowes, Mary Kelly

In 1883, James Kelly only one month married, argues with his wife and accuses her of being unfaithful. In a psychotic rage, he uses the methods of strangulation and throat slashing to kill her. Kelly is caught, convicted and sentenced to die by hanging. Then his employer comes forward and explains that he believes Kelly is mentally disturbed. Kelly was then examined by a alienist and committed to the Broadmoor Criminal Lunatic Asylum. Kelly’s psychiatric report has been sealed for over 125 years, until Norris examines it.

Broadmoor Criminal Lunatic Asylum

In 1863, Broadmoor was the first custom-built asylum to house criminal lunatics. In Broadmoor, Kelly is a outwardly a model prisoner, but at the same time he is secretly planning his escape. Working in the asylum’s carpentry shop, he cunningly uses a piece of medal he carved into a key to aid his escape. In January of 1888, Kelly escaped and just disappeared. At that time a series of stabbings and slashing attacks of women start in London. Three victims: Annie Millwood, (February 25, 1888, stabbed repeatedly, but survived), Ada Wilson, (March 28, 1888, slashed in the throat, but survived), and Martha Tabram, (August 7, 1888, stabbed 23 times, did not survive). Norris feels these are the early attempts of Jack the Ripper, who like many serial killers, escalates and only gets more brutal over time. After these three attacks, the first London Ripper murder occurs. Surprisingly, Kelly was once considered a suspect by London police, but after only minimal checking at his old residence, they simply gave up, and were never able to find him. With the huge amount of pressure they were under, the case against Kelly went cold…

Astonishingly, in 1927…forty years later, a much older Kelly voluntarily returns to the insane asylum and began to chronicle his travels. A typed copy of Kelly’s confession letter survives in the National Archives, and Norris is the first detective to read it. In the letter, Kelly describes having “problems dealing with society“, and being “overtaken with feelings of envy, jealousy, and malice“. Kelly states, “the thing has been hard because of all kinds of ’skank’” (a term he uses to refers to women of low moral character) and “I’ve been on the warpath since I left Broadmoor Asylum.” Also in his letter, he admits to traveling to London after his escape, and more interestingly he tells of traveling to the United States and arriving in New York conveniently before the Carrie Brown murder. He was by profession, a trained upholsterer, and would have known quiet a bit about knives and how to use them effectively for the purpose of murder. Kelly also mentioned traveling to many cities in the US before returning to England and admitted that he came to the US many times over a period of 40 years.

USS Zaandam

First Norris wanted to check to make sure that Kelly’s confession matched up with actual travel records of the day. In Britain’s National Maritime Museum, they kept track of every ship that came to the United States. Kelly said he traveled to America aboard an Anglo-German steamer named the Zaandam that sailed from Rotterdam to New York. At the museum, Norris not only confirmed the ship existed, but that it sailed from Rotterdam to New York on October 7, 1890—two years after the last Ripper murder in London (11/88) and months before the April 23, 1891 murder of Carrie Brown in New York. You might be thinking, “How does a ‘wanted man’ get into the United States without detection?” Professor Dan Citrum is an expert in 19th-century immigration and explains how easily it could have been done. Remember this was before Ellis Island was established, so getting in and out of the country was very easy. No drivers licenses, no passports, and no photo id whatsoever. Many people back then, came to this country to start over, and remake themselves and get lost in the huge crowds of New York city. In his confession, Kelly admits to changing his name once his ship arrives to ‘John Miller‘, one of the most common names both then and now. Kelly used his new name like a disguise to blend in and escape police scrutiny.

Knowing from experience that many serial killers travel extensively, to avoid detection, Detective Norris plots the cities Kelly claims to have visited against the murders written about in the newspapers. He begins to see similarities in Ripper-like murders committed in other cities: New York NY, Trenton, NJ, Galveston, TX, New Orleans, LA, Philadelphia, PA, Baltimore, MD, Jackson, CA, San Francisco, CA, Denver, CO. Each of these murders occurred during the time that Kelly, thorough his confession letter, said he was in that city. Even the city newspapers asked the same question “Is this the work of Jack the Ripper” and “Is this the fiend of Whitechapel?” and “Has Jack the Ripper Invaded Texas at Last“. Detective Norris identified twelve murders across five states in just four years…and remember, Kelly was gone for forty years…you can do the math. To read an amazing collection of news reports, please visit Casebook: Jack the Ripper.

Using a asylum photo of Kelly provided by the National Archives, he was able to see what Kelly looked like at age 67. Norris then contacted Steve Mancusi, a NYPD senior forensic artist who has helped solve the most difficult cases for the last 30 years. He wanted Mancusi to use forensic imaging technology normally used for age-progression in missing child cases, but with this case, he wanted him to reverse the effects of aging, to show what Kelly would have looked like in his 30’s. The striking illustration below on the right is based on their findings.

Both illustrations of Jack the Ripper

The left composite, was drawn based on 118 year old eye-witness accounts of Jack the Ripper in London. They examined different witness statements and used modern day forensics to come up with a portrait of the killer, even indicating what type of hat he wore.

The drawing on the right, is the result of Mancusi shaving 40 years off of James Kelly’s photo at age 67. As you can see, once they added the type of hat mentioned by eye witnesses, the drawings are a very close match.

In the end, there is no doubt in Norris’ mind that he has found Jack the Ripper. We may never know. John Kelly died of natural causes in 1929 inside Broadmoor Asylum and took his secrets to his grave. In my opinion, Jack the Ripper in America was very well done and is a must-see for all forensic buffs and amateur Ripperologists. I’m interested in seeing further research, analysis and discussion of Norris’ theory. Regarding any factual errors in this post, I apologize in advance, and encourage everyone to let me know what needs to be corrected.

McDowell played H.G. Wells, who uses his time machine to chase his friend, Warner (aka Jack the Ripper) through the streets of modern day (1979) San Francisco. After watching Norris’ documentary, maybe Hollywood’s silly (but entertaining) version of the Ripper story had a sliver of truth to it after all.

The first show on Thursday night (29Oct09) saw acts including Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Jeff Beck, Sting and James Taylor take to the stage at Madison Square Garden.

Friday’s (30Oct09) show opened with Jerry Lee Lewis singing Great Balls of Fire, and went on to host a number of big name collaborations including Jeff Beck with Sting and U2 with the Black Eyed Peas.
The night built up to a climatic finale with Jagger, Fergie and Will.i.am all joining U2 to sing Rolling Stones hit Gimme Shelter, as Jagger entertained the crowd with his trademark dance moves.

Was suchen wir? Was erfüllt uns?

Leider gibt es dafür kein Patentrezept. Fragt eure Frauen.

Blondie was the most commercially successful band to emerge from the much vaunted punk/new wave movement of the late ’70s. The group was formed in New York City in August 1974 by singer Deborah Harry (b. July 1, 1945, Miami), formerly of Wind in the Willows, and guitarist Chris Stein (b. Jan. 5, 1950, Brooklyn) out of the remnants of Harry’s previous group, the Stilettos. The lineup fluctuated over the next year. Drummer Clement Burke (b. Nov. 24, 1955, New York) joined in May 1975. Bassist Gary Valentine joined in August. In October, keyboard player James Destri (b. Apr. 13, 1954) joined, to complete the initial permanent lineup. They released their first album, Blondie, on Private Stock Records in December 1976. In July 1977, Valentine was replaced by Frank Infante.

In August, Chrysalis Records bought their contract from Private Stock and in October reissued Blondie and released the second album, Plastic Letters. Blondie expanded to a sextet in November with the addition of bassist Nigel Harrison (born Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, England), as Infante switched to guitar. Blondie broke commercially in the U.K. in March 1978, when their cover of Randy and the Rainbows’ 1963 hit “Denise,” renamed “Denis,” became a Top Ten hit, as did Plastic Letters, followed by a second U.K. Top Ten, “(I’m Always Touched by Your) Presence, Dear.” Blondie turned to U.K. producer/songwriter Mike Chapman for their third album, Parallel Lines, which was released in September 1978 and eventually broke them worldwide. “Picture This” became a U.K. Top 40 hit, and “Hanging on the Telephone” made the U.K. Top Ten, but it was the album’s third single, the disco-influenced “Heart of Glass,” that took Blondie to #1 in both the U.K. and the U.S. “Sunday Girl” hit #1 in the U.K. in May, and “One Way or Another” hit the U.S. Top 40 in August. Blondie followed with their fourth album, Eat to the Beat, in October. Its first single, “Dreaming,” went Top Ten in the U.K., Top 40 in the U.S. The second U.K. single, “Union City Blue,” went Top 40. In March 1980, the third U.K. single from Eat to the Beat, “Atomic,” became the group’s third British #1. (It later made the U.S. Top 40.)

Meanwhile, Harry was collaborating with German disco producer Giorgio Moroder on “Call Me,” the theme from the movie American Gigolo. It became Blondie’s second transatlantic chart topper. Blondie’s fifth album, Autoamerican, was released in November 1980, and its first single was the reggaeish tune “The Tide Is High,” which went to #1 in the U.S. and U.K. The second single was the rap-oriented “Rapture,” which topped the U.S. pop charts and went Top Ten in the U.K. But the band’s eclectic style reflected a diminished participation by its members – Infante sued, charging that he wasn’t being used on the records, though he settled and stayed in the lineup. But in 1981, the members of Blondie worked on individual projects, notably Harry’s gold-selling solo album, KooKoo. The Best of Blondie was released in the fall of the year. The Hunter, Blondie’s sixth and last new album, was released in July 1982, preceded by the single “Island of Lost Souls,” a Top 40 hit in the U.S. and U.K. “War Child” also became a Top 40 hit in the U.K., but The Hunter was a commercial disappointment. At the same time, Stein became seriously ill with the genetic disease pemphigus. As a result, Blondie broke up in October 1982, with Deborah Harry launching a part-time solo career while caring for Stein, who eventually recovered. In 1998, the original line-up of Harry, Stein, Destri and Burke reunited to tour Europe, their first series of dates in 16 years; a new LP, No Exit, followed early the next year.

She was a gorgeous blonde prostitute-turned-reality star. Now Brooke Phillips is dead from a gunshot wound; discovered pregnant and burned almost beyond recognition in an Oklahoma City house. Brooke hit the hooker big time when as a prostitute at Nevada’s legal brothel, the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, she was featured on the HBO reality show, Cathouse.

“Brooke contacted me two years ago,” Bunny Ranch owner Dennis Hof said in an interview. It was her dream to come work here and be on HBO’s Cathouse. She got to fulfill those wishes.”

Brooke was one of four victims who were killed. Another victim, Millie Barrera, was also pregnant, bringing the deceased total to six.

Brooke told Hof one month ago that she was pregnant.

She was really excited about it,” he said.

“We talked about her taking time off for the pregnancy and to have the baby, and then coming back to work. We never discussed who the father was. Brooke didn’t seem to care. This was her baby and she was thrilled about it.”

Reality shows and murder are unfortunately going hand-in-hand lately. Former reality star Brian Lee Randone is accused of killing adult film star Felicia Tang; and swimsuit model Jasmine Fiore was brutally murdered by reality show contestant Ryan Jenkins who later killed himself.
