Meanwhile, Rachel, Finn, Kurt, and Blaine have arrived, but Brittany stops Blaine from going any further: “No, sorry Blaine. I said no hair gel, remember? I can totally smell it.” The hair gel is a bit over the top, and with Brittany in charge of the dance, she’s getting what she wants. Kurt sends Blaine on his way with “You can do this” before joining the others on the dance floor.

Everyone’s into it—even Principal Figgins is on the dance floor and Sue’s dancing by the punch bowl. There are some cute moments for some of the couples—Santana and Brittany, Rachel and Finn, and Will and Emma—and it looks like a fun performance before drama strikes a dance again (in the promo, Finn yells at Quinn to stand up, and Sue asks if she’s going to need to kick him out of another prom).

The prom is turning out to be a night that the glee club members will never forget, because Finn starts yelling at Quinn to stand up. She’s sitting in her wheelchair on the dance floor, and he’s standing over her. Kurt looks on with shock and horror on his face, presumably because Finn is telling the paralyzed girl to get up from her chair while the outraged girl looks up at Finn. Does her ex-boyfriend think that Quinn secretly regained the use of her legs and is merely using the wheelchair to gain her classmates’ sympathy votes? Could she actually be that deceitful and that desperate to be prom queen? Joe doesn’t think so, and he looks like he wants to punch Finn. Coach Sue, who’s also quite irate, is quick to intervene in the drama that broke out. She tells Finn, “Are you going to force me to eject you from yet another prom?” Is it Finn’s fate to be kicked out of prom for fighting and for the second year in a row?
