A Harry Potter Essay: Did Molly Know?

b. Know what exactly?

c. And who is Molly?

That would be: a)When did she figure out that Ron had the hots for Hermione, b) that Ron had the “roaring beast” for Hermione and c) Molly is Ron mum.

I’m talking of course about Harry Potter and everyone favorite bunch of misfits redheads, the Weasleys, especially the matriarch of the family, Molly and her youngest son, Ronald Belius Weasley.

These questions popped into my head when I re-read Goblet of Fire. At the end of the book the Weasleys come to visit Harry (instead of the Durleys). They play the role of Harry’s family (as they do throughout the series). When Molly sees Hermione, she treats her will a cold indifference bordering on hatred. None of the Weasleys (except, perhaps Percy) is known to act that way. In fact they are known for their fiery temperaments. The only other time that happens is when Ron finds out that Hermione had snugged Krum. Both show that the family member in question was really hurt by Hermione’s behavior (real or imagined). Now the simple explanation is that Molly thought of Harry as one of her own and did not like to see him hurt by anyone, even Hermione.

But was there something else?

Did Molly know (or suspect) that Ron had feelings for Hermione? I mean Hermione spent a awful lot of time with them (starting the summer between Year 3 and 4). In fact she spent every summer and multiple Xmases with the Weasleys. Molly certainly noticed how Ginny reacted around Harry when he first came into the Burrow (if eternally clueless Ron could make the connection I have no doubt Molly certainly did). And Molly kept herself well informed about the lives of all her children, even those who had left the nest. I have no doubt that she knew about it, or at least had an inkling that Hermione and Ron’s relationship went well beyond just battling friends.

I mean, the arguing….

So, when she read Rita Skeeter’s story about Hermione playing with Harry’s affections, the reaction was not typical for Molly. Instead of telling her off the first moment she got, she treated her coldly. I believe this is because she saw it as a rejection of Ron, who will always be her little boy (as the youngest of all the brothers although not of all her children, that honor belongs to Ginny).

Molly may think of Harry as her son, but he is not.

Molly probably thought, “Is my Ron not good enough for her?” which certainly would have hurt her and if Hermione was also hurting Harry, well that pushed Molly over the edge, beyond anger and into tranquil fury territory. Besides, she knows her children well and I suspect the reason why she allowed Hermione under her roof was that she saw in her aspects that Ron lacked, like discipline and wisdom.

There is also the part that Hermione acts very much as the mother of the Trio, which is, I suspect, the reason why her behavior irks Ron so much. Who would want to have someone mothering them 24/7?

Besides, you know what they say about Mothers, Sons and Wives….

In the end, I think Molly knew all along,although curiously she doesn’t try to interfere apart from the incident in GoF and having Hermione over as much as she could manage, she tried the same trick with Tonks and Lupin although the kids thought he was trying to distract Bill from marrying Fleur (spoiler: it didn’t work) .

I mean it so obvious, that the writers (and the actors) of the movies caught on pretty quickly, (link edited due to the fact that YouTube yanked the original).

O futuro dos RPGs

Quem joga RPG PbF sabe muito bem o que vem acontecendo: uma explosão de novos boards, a divisão dos jogadores entre eles, e a desilusão quando os mesmos após de um tempo, no máximo 3 meses geralmente, fecha. É frustrante ver um personagem criado, pensado, desenvolvido não foi para a frente porque o board fechou?

Mas qual a causa disso? Porque os RPGs vem se tornando ‘descartáveis’?

Falta de comprometimento dos jogadores e dos administradores? Tramas falhas? Falta de continuidade? Mas e os fóruns que tem tramas bem pensadas e em desenvolvimento? Qual a causa de fechamento?

Cabe a cada um de nós, jogadores, pensarmos no que está acontecendo e decidirmos o que fazer. E mais ainda, cabe a nós também pensar duas, três vezes antes de abrir um novo board por simplesmente querer ser administrador de um, ajudando assim no fim iminente dos RPGs que é, iondiscutivelmente, uma das formas de entretenimento mais inteligentes não só pela criatividade dos jogadores, ou por nos ajudar a manter vivo o nosso bom e velho (?) português, que é assassinado a cada segundo. Mais do que isso, é um lugar onde podemos conhecer pessoas, nos aproximarmos e aprendermos mais com cada uma delas.

Não vamos deixar os RPGs morrerem!

Qual a solução para isso? O que podemos fazer para que os fóruns não desapareçam? O que fazer para que fóruns bem estruturados, que passam por problemas em virtude de desinteresse sobrevivam?

Pensem nisso. Talvez possamos salvá-los, e assim mantermos nosso passatempo favorito.

Eu confesso !!! Sou culpada e me sinto culpada todas as vezes que penso sobre Harry Potter … não tinha o direito de agir daquela forma !

Pra vc saber do q estou falando preciso voltar na história … enfim … quando aconteceu o BUM do livro do harry aqui no Brasil eu tinha acabado de ler o livro Senhor dos Anéis .. e estava perdidamente encantada e apaixonada pela história .. que é maravilhosa!! ( não vou falar sobre ela agora pq vou dedicar um texto somente pra ela e agora estou focada no Harry .. lembra ?! rsrs ).

Eu fui extremamente preconceituosa …. pensei q nada poderia ser tão bom quanto senhor dos anéis … achei q os 7 livros do harry eram uma farsa ….achei q eles estavam tentando “imitar” o mundo mágico do Tolkien ( nosso bom e velho amigo ) … enfim .. não quis nem saber de ler os livros do harry …não quis ver os filmes e decidi que harry potter era história boba pra criança … mas é claaaaaaaaro .. que eu estava completamente errada… tão errada ..mas tão errada qto qualquer tipo de preconceito existente .. que não tem razão e nem fundamento !! Pode acreditar que paguei caro por isso …

pois .. por indicação de um amigo… (amigo que diz que esta “harrypotterzando” o mundo ) tive a chance de conhecer uma das histórias mais bem feitas e criativas que já li na vida … eu comecei a ler o livro 1 do harry potter !!!

Logo na primeira página comecei a me interessar .. mas é claro que não poderia ser um livro legal.. afinal .. era um livro de criança… be a ba … afff

Na segunda página … eu logo decidi que se fosse um livro de criança eu teria 10 anos pra poder curtir esse livro rs rs .. e percebi que o mundo mágico de hogwarts já havia me puxado pra dentro dele … e eu já estava completamente apaixonada !!

Para aqueles que ainda não leram .. eu recomendo !! Nunca conheci sequer 1 pessoa q dissesse não gostar dessa história .. e digo mais … a criatividade empregada para descrever um mundo de mágicos oculto de nós, pessoas normais ( ou quase isso ) ,… as mágicas … as descrições de lugares .. enfim .. são mto ricas !!!

A autora foi extremamente sensível ao abordar cada um dos personagens …. nos mostrando a história que formou a personalidade de cada um deles ….e montando a partir delas um enredo impossível de ser ignorado !!!

A história tem mtas aventuras e incrivelmente tem partes cômicas e românticas tbm !!! É uma leitura para meninos e meninas … sem restrição de idade ou gosto …simplesmente agrada a todos !!!

Não preciso nem falar que é a história de um bruxinho que descobre o mundo dos bruxos e começa a descobrir seus poderes no mesmo momento que encontra seu maior inimigo e descobre que esta jurado desde seu nascimento … quando o lord Voldemort tentou mata-lo … e tbm não preciso dizer que ele encontra dois amigos inseparáveis e o melhor mestre

de todos, pq isso td com certeza vc já leu em outros lugares !!!

Na minha opinião… o Rony é o personagem mais engraçado e fofo rs rs … amo todas as reações de susto dele !!! são hilárias !! rs

E a minha preferida é a Gina Weasley .. ela é linda … ruiva .. e mtooooooooooooo corajosa .. rs rs acreditem .. boa parte das leitoras gostariam de ser ela ( inclusive eu ! )!!

Se vc ainda não leu .. sai correndo .. e não perde mais tempo !!! Vc não vai se arrepender …e se já leu … vai juntando dinheiro … pq a novidade que vou contar agora é cara … mas é sensacional !!

Eu li que a Disney vai lançar um parque temático para os fãs de Harry Potter … e poderemos visitar hogwarts …. jogar quadribol virtual … voar ..e realizar feitiços .. enfim .. eles vão tornar real boa parte de tudo que imaginamos ao ler cada linha daquela história !!!!Eu já estou depositando cada moedinha no meu porquinho de porcelana .. rs rs

El Fin de una Relación

Hola! Hoy quería hablarles sobre la ruptura de la relación de Fred y Angelina.

Para empezar, ya les había contado que Fred y Angelina -según mi forma de torcer la realidad-, salieron juntos un tiempo. Más precisamente casi cuatro meses, desde ese día en el Bailde de Navidad de su sexto curso hasta el primero de abril del mismo año. También había explicado que esa relación no había sido muy profunda y llena de sentimientos amorosos, sino el comienzo de una relación que finalmente no pudo seguir de esa forma porque ambos se dieron cuenta de que la amistad era lo que realmente los unía.

Tomando esas bases, paso a desarrollar mi hipótesis.

Fred no es un chico de una sola mujer, por lo menos no en esa época. Es por eso que tuvo varios amoríos durante toda su adolescencia hasta llegar al que realmente toca su corazón, Katie, que en esta entrada, no viene al caso. Sinceramente, Fred había descubierto que estar con Angelina ya no era lo que quería. Ya no le atraía como mujer, sino que quería volver a recuperar su “libertad”.

Desde hacía unas semanas tenía en mente terminar con su novia, pero ahí yacía el problema. Terminar nunca había sido un tema muy importante ya que, en realidad, las chicas con las que estaba no lo eran tampoco. Sólo era cuestión de decir adiós de buena manera y la chica decidiría si no hablarle nunca más o seguir manteniendo una relación, dentro de todo lo posible, buena. Pero su novia no era cualquier chica, era Angelina Johnson.

Siempre le había atraído la actitud de la Gryffindor, pero no fue hasta el Baile de Navidad en que realmente se sorprendió de ella y empezaron a salir. Pero ese fue su error: Fred descubrió que, a medida que pasaba el tiempo, ese sentimiento que tenía por Angelina era admiración, respeto, simpatía; no amor o deseo. Había empezado a quererla, pero no en un sentido romántico, sino a quererla realmente, y no deseaba perderla. Fred quería terminar con ella, pero no quería cortar la relación de amistad que se había forjado en esos meses que habían estado juntos. Y eso le resultaba condenadamente difícil. ¿Cómo terminar con tu novia para realmente poder mantener una sólida relación de amistad?

Fred la trataba como una amiga más, ya no la sentía su pareja pero sí tenía esa necesidad de compartir el día y las experiencias vividas juntos. George lo sabía. Imposible que no lo supiera. Ambos compartían ese secreto y esperaban el momento adecuado para poder dar fin a esa relación, dejando paso a que comience aquella otra. Difícil. Muy difícil.

Angelina, por otro lado, siente algo parecido. Se siente bien con Fred, se siente contenta, definitivamente le atrae y le encanta pasar el día junto a él, George y Lee, a los cuales se ha vuelto muy apegada Antes se llevaban bien, sí, pero nunca había sentido tal dependencia hacia ellos. Hacia los tres. Sin darse cuenta, había conseguido tres muy buenos amigos. Fred era eso, un amigo. El título de pareja no cuadraba en él. Ella se daba cuenta de que habían ciertas cosas en la relación que mantenían que no cuadraban, de que habían ciertas cosas en Fred que no le gustaban como “novio”, y de que en el sentido “deseo”, las cosas tampoco iban mejor. Pero no había comprendido que eso era porque en realidad a Fred lo había empezado a sentir como un amigo, alguien en quien confiar, con quien divertirse, y que lo que ella buscaba en una pareja no se encontraba en él. Y es esa sensación de bienestar que sentía para con él la que no le permitía ver que ya había pasado de ser su hombre a ser su amigo.

En mi historia, ella planea su broma del Día de los Inocentes para vegarse de Fred por haberle hecho creer que ella había perdido la capitanía del equipo de Gryffindor. Era un juego. Ellos siempre jugaban, y Angelina siempre disfrutaba de las travesuras de los gemelos.

Por otro lado, al comienzo de la relación Fred se había mostrado impaciente por “concretar” con ella, pero Angelina, aunque se resistía, había terminado cediendo ante la petición. Por causas que no vienen al tema, siempre se vieron interrumpidos en las tres o cuatro ocaciones que lo habían intentado y nunca llegaron al acto. Pero después de un tiempo, Fred dejó de insistir. Angelina no entendía esa reacción en él, por lo que había llegado a la decisión de entregarse enteramente a él ese mismo día, el de su cumpleaños, después de jugarle la broma. Después de todo, a ella Fred seguía pareciéndole físicamente muy atractivo.

Pero Angelina cometió un error: cuando uno hace una broma o un comentario hay que estar dispuesto a pensar en la respuesta que recibirás y, sin duda, ella no lo hizo. Sin darse cuenta, al fingir que deseaba terminar con él como parte de su acto del Día de los Inocentes, le dio pie a Fred para que éste hablara en serio.

El chico se siente sumamente aliviado al pensar que Angelina realmente quería terminar la relación, ya que eso era perfectamente bueno para lo que él quería. Debían terminar, pero ya no había necesidad de perderla. Como ella lo dejaba a él, era él quien tenía la decisión de enojarse o mantener todo en buenos, muy buenos términos. Creyó que todo estaba yéndole muy bien, que podrían ser muy buenos amigos a partir de ese momento, y por eso ríe. Ríe de felicidad al no haber perdido a alguien que se había vuelto muy importante para él, aunque en otro sentido que nada tenía que ver con lo romántico.

En el momento en que Angelina le dice que todo había sido una broma, no puede creerlo. La sonrisa se le borra al instante y no sabe cómo actuar. No sabe qué decir, qué hacer. Siente que todo lo cuidadoso que había sido para no lastimar a la chica se le había ido de las manos al escuchar las palabras “inocente palomita”. Estaba nervioso. Necesitaba hablar con George. Necesitaba contarle, decirle rápidamente todo lo que había pasado para que él lo ayudara con ese desastre que se había armado. Pero -lamentable o afortunadamente- ya no había tiempo. Fred ya había hablado y no tenía sentido fingir lo que no era. Lo mejor sería serle sincero y dejarle saber que él realmente deseaba terminar.

Obviamente, la primera reacción de Angelina no fue la mejor. Fred le había dicho que quería mantener la amistad, pero ella no podía pensar en frío en un momento como ese. Aún así, después de un tiempito, se dio cuenta de que lo que Fred proponía era lo mejor. Descubrió que lo que realmente sentía con él era cariño y bondad. Se había acostumbrado tanto a pasar los días junto a él y George, que se sentía extraña sin ellos. Se había dado cuenta de que lo que sentía por Fred era amistad.

Hola! Hoy quería hablarles de mi visión sobre los gemelos Fred y George.

La dualidad de Angelina

Todos sabemos que George termina casándose con Angelina y teniendo dos niños y, del mismo modo, todos sabemos que Fred y Angelina fueron novios. Yo tuve muchos problemas con esta pareja, ¡no podía entender cómo fue que Angelina terminó con George cuando estaba saliendo con su hermano! Sentía que era algo terriblemente cínico por parte de ella, como si fuera en busca del otro gemelo porque el que tenía antes murió. Mucho menos entendía a George, ¡cómo pudo hacerle algo así a su hermano! Lo sentía la peor de las traiciones ya que yo siempre creí que Fred realmente estaba enamorado de Angelina.

Llegué a la conclusión de que allí radicaba mi error. ¿Por qué pensar que Fred y Angelina se amaron alguna vez? Es verdad que fueron novios, ¡pero eso no quiere decir que lo fueron hasta el triste y horrendo día de su muerte! ¡Mucho menos significa que Fred realmente tenía sentimientos profundos para con ella o ella para con él!

Para calmar mi mente, decidí ponerle fin a mi pensamiento de “Fred y Angelina se amaron infinitamente” y dejarlo simplemente como un “salieron alguna vez”. Es mucho más traquilizados pensar que salieron simplemente cuatro meses: desde la época del baile de Navidad en el cuarto año de Harry, hasta el cumpleaños de los gemelos el primero de abril. Y para calmarme aún más, decidí que quien dejaba a quien, era Fred a Angelina.

Pero eso, por supuesto, no tenía porque significar el fin de su relación. Me gusta pensar que después de esto (obviamente, Angelina no lo tomó muy bien al principio -¿a quién le gusta que lo dejen?-, pero luego lo aceptó perfectamente), ambos chicos se volvieron muy amigos, dándose cuenta de que en realidad ellos dos estaban destinados a tener una gran amistad.

Lindo, ¿no? Pero todavía queda el dilema de George con Angelina. ¿Cómo se resuelve? ¡Pues es muy simple! Angelina al ser amiga de Fred, lógicamente tendría que pasar más tiempo junto a George por lo que, al pasar el tiempo, descubrió que su gemelo era una persona totalmente cautivante y que a pesar de su similitud con Fred, eran esas pequeñas diferencias las que comenzaron a enamorarla realmente. Por su parte, George también comienza a fijarse en Angelina cuando aún Fred seguía estando a su lado. Quizás durante el año el sexto año de Harry (sólo para poner la distancia suficiente entre el noviazgo de ella y su hermano para que ya haya quedado enterrado en el olvido).

Para mejorar aún las cosas, Fred se da cuenta de esto y -lejos de enfadarse-, se divierte muchísimo con la situación de que a George le guste Angelina (porque según yo, George tiene varios problemas para sumirlo). Y no sólo eso, sino que la aprueba y con una sonrisa en el rostro (él ya tiene sus propios nuevos dilemas amorosos y está feliz de pensar en una posible relación entre su hermano y su gran amiga)

Para finalizar, George se pone de novio con Angelina unas semanas después de la boda de Bill y Fleur, y su hermano queda sumamente complacido con la feliz pareja.

Más amoríos

Es sabido que los gemelos Weasley son unos casanovas (¿quién podría decir lo contrario?) , por eso, nadie puede negar que hayan tenido más de una conquista por ahí de la que Harry Potter jamás se haya enterado y, consecuentemente, nosotros tampoco. ¡Rowling obvió demasiados detalles al fijar la historia desde el punto de vista del Niño que vivió!

Es evidente que ambos tuvieron una laaarga lista de chicas en su currículum amoroso, pero de seguro que unas debieron ser más importantes que otras. Obviando a Angelina Johnson, de la cual ya hemos hablado, voy a pasar a tres personitas que me llaman muchísimo la atención: Katie Bell, Alicia Spinnet y Demelza Robins.

¿Por qué las elegí a ellas? Por dos simples hechos: siempre me gustaron por ser integrantes del equipo de Quidditch y me apenó que no tuvieran más importancia que un corte de labios o la recepción de un collar envenado por equivocación; y porque no quería inventar ningún personaje original.

Yo creo que para Fred, Katie Bell fue una de las personas más importantes románticamente hablando, y creo que se fijó por primera vez en ella en ese sentido durante un partido de Quidditch en particular (para más información, esperen por una próxima actualización), al año siguiente de finalizado su corto noviazgo con Angelina. Después de ello, Fred comenzó a tener sentimientos muy profundos para con ella, y me habría encantado sinceramente que terminaran juntos, pero como sabemos, eso no pudo ser.

Sin embargo, George tenía otra personita en la mira, y esa era Alicia Spinnet. A diferencia de Fred, esta chica sí era importante pero no hasta al grado de hablar de “amor” o de “sentimientos demasiado profundos”. George conoce a Alicia y a Demelza dentro del equipo de Quidditch de Gryffindor, y desde el primer momento sintió una fuerte atracción física hacia ellas, pero en ese momento eran muy pequeños. Después de un par de años, Alicia y George comienzan a verse. No era una relación estable, iban y venían dependiendo del humor de George y de la chica, pero ése era el punto fuerte en la relación: no tener compromisos. Conociendo lo conquistador que era George, Alicia sabía que esto era un imposible. Supongo que los encuentros entre ambos se habían vuelto cada vez más furtivos al crecer, hasta que llegó un punto en que ni él ni ella pudieron seguir con la relación: George había descubierto que estaba completamente enamorado de Angelina, y Alicia que quería algo más que una relación tan free.

Por otro lado, originalmente yo creía que Demelza era la que había tenido una relación un tanto más seria -no mucho- con él, al estilo Alicia. Pero luego descubrí que ella era al menos tres años menor, por lo que la descarté como relación de más de un día. Demelza sí quiso tener una relación seria con George, estaba completamente loca por él, pero fue una obsesión de adolescente quinceañera soñadora. Del mismo modo, George la veía como una pequeña niña, fogosa, pero pequeña, por lo que sólo tuvo un par de encuentros y nada más.

Como anexo, y para agregar algo más interesante y divertido, Angelina comienza a celar a George cada vez que éste se encontraba con Demelza, y allí es cuando descubre que ella también ama a este conflictivo gemelo, provocando más de una sonrisa en Fred.

Harry Potter, ¿leer o no leer? he ahí el dilema (Libros 1-4)

Hace poco, gracias a una amiga, tuve la oportunidad de leer la saga completa de Harry Potter, justo después de ver la sexta pelicula, y como era de esperarse, una vez que anuncié que había terminado comenzarón a lloverme preguntas sobre cómo eran, si la historia variaba mucho a las peliculas, si valía la pena leerlos, qué era mejor los libros o las peliculas, y de tanto explicarlo y después de discutir algunas situaciones en un foro dedicado a Harry Potter, hacer unas cuantas investiaciones y refinarme las primeras cinco peliculas de nuevo (la sexta obvio aún no la compro) me dije a mi mismo: Mi mismo, por qué rayos no escribes tus comentarios en el blog y te ahorras estar respondiendo preguntas… Así que después de ese arduo analisis me puse en marcha, abrí el blog y comencé a escribir estas lineas.

Si quieres conocer mi opinión sobre estos siete libros y ver si es bueno leerlos o no, o simplemente conocer algunas de mis teorias de “Qué habría pasado si…” continua leyendo, pero si prefieres averiguarlo por ti mismo cosa ke siempre es mas recomendable no sigas leyendo, pero no te preocupes para que no sea todo una perdida de tiempo dejo unas imagenes de la septima pelicula. Harry Potter y La Piedra Filosofal: Ante este libro no tengo ninguna queja, el libro y la paelicula son practicamente lo mismo, exceptuando, lógicamente, algunos detalles que no tienen mucha relevancia en la historia, pero, a mi parecer las formas descriptivas dentro de la narrativa que maneja Rowling dentro del libro, así como las descripciones de personas y lugares, te hacen invlocurarte de una forma más profunda con el libro, si bien, la pelicula hace un muy buen trabajo mostrandonos el mundo dentro de Hogwarts, hay cosas que obviamente sólo pueden ser apreciadas imaginandolas. En general no existe mucha diferencia entre uno y otro, si te gustó la pelicula es seguro que amarás este libro.

Harry Potter y la Cámara Secreta: Sin duda el libro más tranquilón de la saga, y uno de los que menos intriga tiene, pero aún con ello la pelicula comienza a dejar muchas cosas que deseear, aparece por fin en un papel “semiprotagónico” Ginny Weasley, y hay algunos detalles que influiran mucho en los libros 6 y 7, Rowling lográ una vez más atraparte en la lectura, de nuevo las descripciones de lugares y personajes es lo mejor, las situaciones continuan siendo adecuadas para un publico infantil, al igual que en el primer libro, sin embargo con este libro comienza a verse el rumbo que irá tomando la saga.

Harry Potter y el Prisionero de Azkaban: El mejor libro de todos, aunque es de los más cortitos, si no es ke realmente es el más corto, durante este libro comienzan a aparecer muchos detalles que afectan directamente el desarrollo de la historia posterior, como lo es el hecho de que Hermione tuviera un giratiempo, así como la aparición de Pettegrew en el mapa del merodeador. En comparación con la pelicula hay muchas cosas que se dejaron de lado, pero aún así la pelicula sigue remarcando los aspectos principales, sin duda Alfonso Cuarón realizó un estupendo trabajo, es la pelicula mejor adaptada y más fiel a la historia del libro. La aparición de Sirius Black, así como las sospechas de la traición a los padres de Harry, el encuentro con los dementores, entre otras muchas tantas cosas llevan a este libro dejar atrás la lectura fantástica infantil y se transforma en una narrativa más oscura y con mucha mayor intriga.

Harry Potter y el Prisionero de Azkaban

Harry Potter y el Calíz de Fuego: Después de leer sobre un mundo fantástico, un secreto oculto ante todos en el sitio “más seguro” del mundo mágico y conocer a las unicas personas que representan un vínculo cercano entre Harry y sus padres, llega, como lo hace siempre, el peor enemigo de todo adolescente, pero a la vez el mejor aliado. EL AMOR. En este cuarto libro el amor entre los personajes y algunos nuevos personajes comienza a hacer estragos y esto se refleja en la extensión del mismo, y aunke en este libro las relaciones interpersonales son el tema central, así como el doloroso pasado de Harry, suceden hechos importantes que una vez más marcarán el curso de la historia, aunque estas, a diferencia de las del libro anterior son más notorias. La muerte de Cedric, así como el renacimiento de Voldemort marcan a Harry de una forma que las peliculas no lograron plasmar, además, respondiendo a una pregunta que me hicieron sobre si el libro relataba las batallas de los otros magos que paricipan en el torneo de los tres magos (Cedric, Fleur, Viktor) debo comentar que no lo hace abiertamente, sin embargo, continua dandonos más información que la misma pelicula. Continuan apareciendo nuevos personajes que serán sumamente importantes en los siguientes libros, y la lectura, aunque en momentos un poco cansada debido a tantas descripsiones sigue siendo atrapante.

Harry Potter es un elemento de éstos que he tenido, cómo lo diría, que lo he tenido “casi en toda la fase principal de mi vida” y desde que lo empecé a leer me ha fascinado de una forma espectacular. Hace ya muchos años que me regalaron los dos primeros libros, que al principio pues me los tomé como dos libros más, sin mucha importancia, pero es que en aquellos tiempos aún no sabía que tendrían tanta repercusión en el mundo de la literatura actual. Los empecé a leer y de forma inmediata pude ver cómo me sumergía en un mundo completamente diferente al nuestro, un mundo mágico y en muchos aspectos mucho mejor que el mundo real. No hay duda de que me cautivó esa forma tan increíblemente natural con la que la autora consigue combinar un mundo tan diferente como es el de la magia con nuestra realidad, lo que hace que aún siendo fantástico, no se vuelva empalagoso. Cada uno de los personajes tiene su propia personalidad, casi todos tienen su papel en la novela y ésto le da mucho dinamismo, y es un libro que personalmente me hace disfrutar. Las primeras entregas ya eran muy buenas, pero según va siguiendo la saga se van viendo libros más grandes, en los que entre tantas páginas puedes encontrarte con una rutina que realmente es agradable, y vas viendo también que poco a poco una novela que parece hecha para niños va teniendo su lado oscuro, y va cogiendo un tono mucho más adulto siempre sin perder su espíritu mágico natural. Personalmente pienso que es una serie de libros que todo el mundo debería leer, que la trama es increíblemente extensa pero intensa y que realmente merece un reconocimiento puesto que la autora ha conseguido crear un mundo completamente nuevo respecto a todo lo anterior creado en el mundo literario, es decir, ha creado una base sobre la que ya aparecen miles de detalles referentes, como los deportes mágicos, asignaturas, criaturas… y eso es algo que no todo el mundo puede llegar a pensar.
Por todo ésto y mucho más a mí me ha fascinado desde siempre el mundo de Harry Potter, y aunque haya mucha gente que lo critique, que la hay, yo les digo “que se jodan” porque no van a disfrutar de lo bueno que tiene éste nuevo estilo de novela, y ésto lo digo porque realmente es que no tiene desperdicio, tiene de infantil todo lo que tú le quieras dar de infantil, porque resalta todo tipo de valores y trata temas tan adultos como los de cualquier novela dedicada únicamente al sector adulto.
Son una serie de siete novelas, empezando por la más corta y a cada más aumentando en número de páginas, al menos hasta el quinto libro, acompañadas cada una de su respectiva película, ya que actualmente está en los cines la película del sexto libro que cuenta con Daniel Radcliffe como protagonista. Sobre las películas también se ha dicho mucho, y es evidente que son mucho peor que los libros pues éstos son muy largos y es complicadísimo meter tanta información en una película, pero aún así creo que demasiado bien las han producido para lo complicado que es. Y bien, ya no tengo más ganas de escribir sobre éste tema, creo que todo ha quedado bien claro, y probablemente cuelgue los e-books de Harry Potter pronto en el blog para que los podáis descargar. Mientras tanto… ¡Disfrutad de verano!

Film Harry Potter seri keenam ini sangat mencekam. Nyaris seperti film horror atau thriller daripada film anak-anak segala umur. Bedanya, seramnya bukan karena penampakan makhluk-makhluk aneh, tapi karena suasana ceritanya memang dibangun begitu. Cerita memang menjadi unsur kuat dari film ini. Maklum saja, film ini memang diangkat dari seri novel super laris karya J.K. Rowling yang ciamik

Dalam film ini, komunitas penyihir pengikut “Pangeran Kegelapan atau Dia Yang Tak Boleh Disebut Namanya” mulai menteror komunitas muggle, manusia biasa. Di London, terjadi serangkaian peristiwa dan fenomena aneh. Antara lain hancurnya “Millenium Bridge” di London dan awan gelap yang bergulung-gulung menaungi kota selama berhari-hari. Kejadian ini akibat “Pelahap Maut”, begitu mereka menyebut dirinya, mulai mengorganisasikan diri guna menyambut kembalinya pimpinan mereka, Lord Voldemort Sang Pangeran Kegelapan. Tentu saja, bila sang pimpinan bangkit kembali, diharapkan mereka akan menguasai dunia.

Para “Pelahap Maut” bahkan berusaha menculik Harry saat berada di “The Burrows”, kediaman keluarga Weasley termasuk Ron teman sekelasnya. Akan tetapi upaya itu dapat digagalkan anggota Orde Phoenix meski harus merelakan terbakarnya “The Burrows”. Suasana mencekam ini terasa hingga ke ruang-ruang kelas Hogwarts.Bahkan Harry sempat menolak kembali sekolah, tapi akhirnya luluh berkat bujukan Dumbledore yang meminta Profesor Horace Slughorn ikut membujuknya.

Karena adanya ancaman terhadap keselamatan para murid dan guru, Kementerian Sihir menurunkan pasukan Auror untuk menjaga sekolah. Sejak pintu masuk hingga ke depan aula dan kelas, Auror berjaga untuk mengantisipasi serangan Pelahap Maut.

Karena tindakan para Pelahap Maut, cuaca pun jadi memburuk. Matahari nyaris tak terlihat, awan mendung hitam menggumpal terus-menerus, bahkan di dunia manusia biasa. Di Hogwarts, cuaca seperti itu membuat suasana muram, bahkan latihan Quidditch pun sepi dan hampir ditiadakan. Dalam suasana mencekam itu muncul kisah perebutan Keeper tim Quidditch asrama Gryffindor. Di sinilah terlihat simpati Hermione kepada Ron dengan membantunya memenangkan perebutan posisi itu. Percikan api cinta Hermione kepada Ron ditampilkan cukup berwarna di film ini. Demikian pula posisi Harry yang makin dewasa sehingga menjadi perhatian para gadis di Hogwarts.

Sementara judul sekuel film ini, Pangeran Berdarah Campuran (The Half-Blood Prince), muncul saat Harry dan Ron yang sedang iseng menonton anak-anak baru di lorong, ditegur Profesor Minerva McGonagall. Mereka lantas disuruh masuk kelas Ramuan yang diasuh Profesor Horace Slughorn, walau sebenarnya mereka enggan. Saat berebut buku teks yang tersisa, keduanya berebut buku yang masih bagus. Ron yang menang. Tapi ternyata, buku teks lecek yang dimiliki Harry lebih dahsyat. Di dalam buku itu terdapat tulisan tangan murid terdahulu yang memilikinya. Murid ini ternyata mengeksplorasi buku teks ramuan itu sedemikian rupa hingga menemukan aneka cara mengolah ramuan dengan lebih singkat dan pasti berhasil. Akibatnya, untuk pertama kalinya Harry menjadi juara di kelas, mengalahkan Hermione. Dan itu berkat buku teks lecek itu, yang dahulunya tertulis dimiliki oleh “Pangeran Berdarah Campuran.”

Sementara, kelompok Pelahap Maut terus bergerak. Mereka bahkan telah pula menggerakkan “kader”nya yaitu Draco Malfoy. Akan tetapi, misi rahasia Draco tidak terungkap hingga akhir film. Walau sejak awal trio jagoan kita yaitu Harry Potter, Hermione Granger dan Ron Weasley telah memergoki Harry memasuki toko bernama Borgin & Burkes di Diagon Alley, tapi apa tepatnya misi yang diembannya tetap jadi misteri hingga menjelang akhir film. Inti cerita selain berkisar pada tugas yang diberikan Voldemort pada Draco Malfoy, juga pada upaya pengungkapan rekaman kenangan tentang Tom Riddle sewaktu masih menjadi siswa di Hogwarts. Tom Riddle adalah nama asli Voldemort sewaktu muda. Melalui Pensieve, Profesor Dumbledore mengetahui ada rekaman kejadian yang diubah oleh Profesor Horace Slughorn tentang siswanya itu. Dumbledore kemudian menugaskan Harry untuk mengorek keterangan dari Slughorn. Karena kelak dari rekaman itulah kemudian diketahui salah satu rahasia Voldemort. Dan rahasia itu pula –bersama misi misterius yang diemban Draco Malfoy- yang kemudian membawa kematian salah satu tokoh utama cerita ini dalam salah satu episode tergelap Harry Potter ini. (ssst, spoiler alert!)

Yang jelas, seri film ini rasanya makin menunjukkan kedewasaan. Anak-anak mungkin perlu mencerna banyak karena film ini menunjukkan bahwa karakter para tokoh terus menjadi dewasa. Akibatnya, konflik dan situasi yang dihadapi makin kompleks. Namun, mengingat bukunya yang ratusan halaman saja dilahap habis segala usia, pastinya film ini lebih mudah dicerna daripada bukunya.

Ada adegan penting yang dipotong dari awal buku. Salah satunya yang saya ingat adalah dialog antara Perdana Menteri Sihir (Inggris) dengan Perdana Menteri muggle Inggris. Mungkin ini menyangkut kehormatan lambang-lambang negara, sehingga tidak disertakan. Bisa jadi karena dalam buku, Perdana Menteri muggle digambarkan ‘culun’ dan ketakutan menghadapi kaum ‘wizard’ alias penyihir.

Meski mungkin ada ketidaksamaan dengan bukunya, saya tetap berikan angka 9 dari 10 untuk film ini. Walau ini sangat subyektif. Sebabnya? Saya Potter-mania!

Was sind das für Ferien? Wahnsinn. Und was sind bisher wieder Dinge gefallen, die mich einfach nur aufgrund der unfassbaren Genialität des kranken, sich im Delirium befindenden Verstandes, zum Staunen bringen!

So muss sich unser geehrter Little Mr. Atreides damit abgeben, dass es ab heute nicht mehr Dr. Dolittle heißt, sondern Dr. Murphy, und oh ja, einen Versprecher wie “McDamon” (anstelle Matt Damon) sollte ich mir schon gar nicht leisten.

Aber wäre das nicht mal ein brillantes Marketing für McDonald’s? Ein Burger, der McDamon heißt und von Matt Damon vermarktet wird? Wäre das nicht unglaublich clever? Immerhin ist der gute Mann ja bekanntlich eine Schlampe für alles.

Was gibt es sonst noch in der unscheinbaren Welt meiner vierzehn Ichs? Ahja, Janipuh und ich haben gestern einen Song aufgenommen. Langweile + Lady Gaga + Jason Isaacs = “Da Jason Sonq”

Die Qualität ist nicht die beste und ach, die Musik…es wird generell wohl nur für Diejenigen lustig sein, die unseren Humor kennen und verstehen, meine Schwärmereien für Jason Lm Iet MS Isaacs akzeptieren und belächeln.

Die Lyrics sind -zugegeben- wirklich seltsam, aber mein Gott, man muss auch Spaß auf dieser Welt haben können, deswegen schäme ich mich kein Bisschen für dieses grottige Meisterwerk. Es ist ein Produkt zweier FIE-Mitglieder, ein kleines Spin-Off möchte ich fast meinen, und deswegen ist es !FANTASTISCH!

LOS ANGELES, July 19 (UPI) — J.K. Rowling’s young wizard conjured a fortune this weekend with “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” No. 1 in U.S. theaters, Box Office Mojo said Sunday.

The latest movie installment of the British author’s fantastical novels, with Daniel Radcliffe in the title role, piled up an estimated $79.48 million in its first weekend in U.S. theaters.

The animated “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs” stayed No. 2 with $17.7 million. and the science-fiction adventure “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” was still No. 3 with $13.75 million.

Last weekend’s top-grossing movie, the mockumentary “Bruno,” fell to No. 4 in its second week with $8.37 million, followed by “The Hangover,” which moved back up a spot to No. 5 with $8.32 million in its seventh week in U.S. theaters.

Rounding out the Top 10 were “The Proposal” with an estimated $8.23 million in ticket sales, “Public Enemies” at $7.59 million, “Up” at $3.15 million, “My Sister’s Keeper” at $2.83 million and “I Love You Beth Cooper” at $2.7 million.

“The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3″ dropped out of the top tier in its sixth week.

Another new offering, “500 Days of Summer,” a romantic comedy starring Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, debuted at No. 12 with just $838,000 in gate receipts.

IL GATTO E LA VOLPE, una storia antica e moderna

Sto affilando le mie lame per CIASCUNO E’ PERFETTO (R. Morelli), ma per il momento mi dedico a due personaggi (della letteratura e della musica) che forse con Morelli hanno qualche affinità.

Apro parentesi. Per me PINOCCHIO andrebbe letto e commentato a scuola non meno dei PROMESSI SPOSI. Almeno alcuni capitoli: il paese di Acchiappacitrulli (dove i ladri sono impuniti e i derubati vanno in galera), gli episodi col gatto e la volpe, il paese dei balocchi, ecc. Non è una favola: è l’immagine dell’Italia di ieri e di oggi. Chiusa parentesi.

Esaminiamo la canzone di Bennato. I due malandrini si presentano come talent scout e maneggioni nel mondo della discografia.

“tu ci cedi tutti i diritti e noi faremo di te un divo da hit parade…”

Ma di gente così ne conosciamo tanta, no? Tutti sorrisi e bonarietà, che ci promettono successo e felicità.

Politici, banchieri, consulenti finanziari, venditori di pomate miracolose e di numeri per il lotto, maghi, santoni, profeti, maestri di meditazione trascendentale e di ogni sorta di rigenerazione spirituale; tutti animati da un altruismo commovente…

“Che fortuna che hai avuto ad incontrare noi…”

E’ una professione molto diffusa, quella dei gatti-e-volpi. E ha enorme successo. Vabbè, qualcuno va in galera ogni tanto, ma poi ci si può rifare (ve lo ricordate Verdiglione? e Vanna Marchi è ancora dentro o le hanno dato i domiciliari?).

Hanno successo solo in Italia? Credo di no. Dappertutto nascono i creduloni come Pinocchio, che vuol diventare ricco (anche per aiutare il suo babbino, perchè no?), ma senza lavorare. Lavorare stanca. Meglio affidarsi a qualche volpe, hai visto mai?

Se questo post mi sembra troppo moraleggiante (o avete qualche simpatia per i furbacchioni) godevi il seguente video, dove la canzone è accompagnata dalle immagini di due birichini potteriani, i gemelli Weasley.

Se invece i furbacchioni non li potete soffrire, ascoltate la voce di Bennato (il testo ve lo trascrivo dopo) a occhi chiusi. E’ una bella canzone, no?

Some might say this post is long awaited, and I’ve tried to figure out what and how to write it for a little while.
I’ve seen the movie twice now, and well the book will always remain miiiiles ahead, because I’m a geek that likes reading books. But by all means the movie had a few very good moments and overall it was nicely done and portrayed some of the most important scenes as it should. I also like the style David Yates have gone for too, the dark and moody setting is perfect for the 6th movie.

But if I were to speak from an bystanders view, someone who doesn’t know the story, who hasn’t read the books or doesn’t know what will happen next, it might cause slight confusion, and almost feel a little incomplete because it doesn’t really have that anti-climax that you’re waiting for. Sure the clock tower scene is quite the climax, but not like the other film, nor does it really end with and end if you catch my drift.

However as a build up to the last films (because the Deathly hallows is split into two films) it works brilliantly, it gives us the information we need for the coming films.
I really enjoyed most of this film because of that sole reason.
Maybe the love stories took a bit too much space, but it did provide us with a solid dose of Rupert Grint who really gets to shine in this movie, he’s quite the comical talent.
As does Tom Felton, we get to see more of his talent, the darkness that is pushing Draco Malfoy more and more of the edge. It is nice for once to turn your attention to someone else than Daniel Radclife, sure he does a good Harry, but it’s nice that not 100% of the storyline is based upon him but also his co-stars. Bonnie Wright get a bit more attention too as she should since Harry is falling in love with her during this book. They could’ve possibly taken this aspect of the love stories a little bit further I think instead of that silly flirting scene earlier.

All in all I’d say Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is a good movie, 4/5 stars I reckon.
It made me aw, it made me cry and it made me want more.
But it was missing that last omphf, and well some of the scenes not in the book, at least one was quite unecessary, as well as some scenes missing that should’ve been there, but oh well..
It sounds like the final films will contain pretty much everything, since it is split in two, even though I’d gladly spend 6 hours at the cinema watching it all together..

So there you have it, finally I managed to write up what I thought about it. and watching the trailer makes me wanna see it again! Good thing I am currently reading the book, it satisfies my cravings hehe

Much like the book with the same title, “Half Blood Prince” is a film that serves as a transition from Point A (Voldemort’s reemergence and return to power) to Point B (the grand final battle of Good and Evil). It also steals from every trilogy cliche concerning cliff hangers, character deaths, etc. The book really goes virtually nowhere – aside from launching a rather prominent character off the top of Hogwarts – and bravo to director David Yates for realizing this by pitching most of the relevant plot out the proverbial window, thereby letting the teens of the wizarding world be their idiotic selves instead of delivering superficial dialogue designed to regurgitate relevant plot devices from 4 films ago.

There's a whole lot of Star Wars-esque plot devices riddled through Book 6 as well.

According to the sixth book of the Harry Potter universe, Voldemort’s past is CRUCIAL to finding a way to destroy him permanently. Harry spends most of the book romping through various memories surrounding the Dark Lord, ultimately leading to some rather shallow discussions about a person’s soul and yadda yadda yadda (Rowling – despite how powerful she’s become and how entertaining her novels are – never fully grasped the potential DEPTH to her ideas, and boy oh boy did she really muck it with “HBP”s critical plot device surounding the creation of horcruxes.).

I guess Yates wasn’t a big fan of, well, anything plot related from the book, because the movie couldn’t further ignore Rowling’s primary storyline any more deliberately. “HBP” is all about the goofy love triangles and typical teenage silliness that would be expected in a boarding school environment. Here, the movie is a blast to watch, as Hermoine, Ron, Harry, Ginny, Luna, the Weasley Twins, Neville, and the assorted smattering of cameo characters turn the film into a bizarre version of The Breakfast Club featuring Love Potions, flying broomsticks, and getting CRUNK with your teachers.

Of course, to the non-Harry Potter fan, this movie makes little sense. Yates begrudgingly throws these poor starved souls some plot clarification in the final 20 minutes of the film, leading to a rather dry ending that appears to be Yates saying “See this portrait on the wall over there? See that wand on that desk? See Alan Rickman’s TORTURED facial expressions?! This will all be important in the next two films, so we’ll linger on them for far too long to make that really, really obvious, ok?! Good, now leave me alone, I’m going to go make some more teenagers giggle and awkwardly make out on camera.”

Yates: "DAMMIT, GIRL, how's a guy supposed to get off to this if you don't look into it?!"

My guess is your appreciation of the film is entirely reliant upon how easily confused you are by the lack of Chris Columbus’s patented plot explications from the first two films. The movie is a good movie, but it’s definitely the least organized of all the Potter films. I think they should just retitle the film “Teen Mating Rituals at a Magical Boarding School” and air it on PBS. Then David Yates wouldn’t have to put up with Rowling’s nonsense and focus on what he’s really into: young British love scenes. Creepy? Yes, but not nearly as creepy as Michael Bay’s obsession with Megan Fox’s crotch.

Just Sayin’.

If there’s one series I can say I’ve stuck with since the beginning, it’s definitely Harry Potter. I’m a huge fan, having read all of the books several times, and now officially having seen all of the movies. Of course, there are things that I would liked to have been done differently, but it’s over now isn’t it?

The new movie is the sixth in the franchise, leaving just one book left to adapt (which is being split into two movies). You can hit the jump to view my thoughts on the latest adaptation, and entry into the most profitable franchise in the history of our planet, Harry Potter.

Of course, first things first. The acting in this movie was fantastic, and was even better than the last few movies. Everyone seemed to really be into their characters and I can’t think of anyone that didn’t put out a good performance. Harry was brilliant as usual, but I was annoyed by him at some points, can’t exactly say why. Ronald’s performance was outstanding, just like it always is. I really can’t think of anyone that could do a better Ron. Hermione was actually much better than usual in this film and they really made me happy.

The big theme throughout this movie was love, and the chemistry between the actors was great. I was a huge fan of Harry and Ginny in the books, and I’m glad my love for them as a couple was transferred to the silver screen as well. The same goes for Hermione and Ron. I can’t wait until those two admit their love for each other. It’s going to be a great movie moment. Another Ron character this time around was Lavender who was played beautifully and I really enjoyed it when she left in tears from the hospital wing (as mean as that sounds).

Once again, the visual effects in the film were startlingly realistic. There was nothing that really felt out of place in the film. Except of course for Ginny’s little pink fuzzball on the train. That was just weird. The cave scene at the end was absolutely GORGEOUS, and when Dumbledore let loose that flame incantation, my eyes went wide from the beauty of it. It was truly majestic to witness.

Of course, the most important aspect of the Harry Potter films, at least in my opinion has been the story. The biggest difference, from the Half Blood Prince in comparison to the other books, is that it’s really only there to tie up loose ends before the final battle. To be honest, the same really goes for this movie as well, though they don’t do it too well.

The two most important things that occur in this movie are that we learn how VOLDEMORT survived his encounter with Harry, as we already knew how Harry survived (love). This was of course done by the use of a Horcrux. Seven of them, actually. For those that didn’t catch it, a Horcrux is an object that contains a piece of a dark wizards soul, after they split it. By destroying all these, the seemingly immortal dark wizard becomes mortal once again. The other important event being the death of Albus Dumbledore.

Horcruxes are obviously touched upon, but not as much as they really should have been. I think that we could have been given a bit more information on the Horcrux just to really pound it in. Saying that, another thing the movie really lacked was something that the book originally had: Tom Riddle. Yes, Tom Riddle was important in the movie, but they could have topped it off well. We seen young Tom Riddle at Wool’s Orphanage. Then we seen teenage Tom Riddle inside the office of Horace Slughorn. Would it have killed them to include an adult Tom Riddle? Perhaps including Tom Riddle attempting to get the Defense Against the Dark Arts job would have worked? That would have even explained how the position became cursed in the first place, and why no one can hold the job for more than a year.

The other major event, Dumbledore’s death, happens at the end of the movie. It’s of course, incredibly important, and is really a major turning point in Harry’s life. After that single event he essentially becomes the Harry Potter the world needs. While Dumbledore’s death was done well in the book, I still felt a little saddened by the lack of an awesome funeral, like in the book. I understand where they were coming from with the “ending-itis” comment, as it really would have dragged the ending out a bit, but I think they could have done something with it.

All in all, this is a fantastic movie, about a fantastic book, from a fantastic series. I highly recommend it for everyone. If you haven’t seen the other films in the series, you have to check them out because they’re all incredible, and well worth watching.
