<p>Pour l&#8217;ouverture de son nouveau magasin à Malmö en Suède, Ikea a eu l&#8217;idée de créer un profil Facebook avec le nom de son directeur de magasin, un certain <a href="http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=31256&#38;id=100000373779371#/ikeagordon">Gordon Gustavsson</a></p>

<p>Ce dernier a commencer à mettre des photos de salons aménagés, chambres, bureaux et autres rayons remplis de chaises sur sa propre page.</p>
<p>Et c&#8217;est à ce moment là que le concept devient génial puisque la première personne qui se tag (Ou se marque en français) sur l&#8217;un des meubles gagne tout simplement celui-ci, c&#8217;est aussi simple que ça !</p>
<p>Il a donc suffit que quelques personnes comprennent le principe pour que l&#8217;info se répande dans toute la Suède et même toute l&#8217;Europe.</p>
<p>Simple, hyper créatif, budget minimum, viral&#8230;En bref l&#8217;opé ultime.</p>

<p>Yes, today is the biggest <em>online</em> shopping day of the year.  And yes, Cyber Monday is a stupid name.  Who came up with that anyway?</p>
<p>A group on Facebook has decided Cyber Monday is so stupid, it should be called something else.  Why not &#8220;<a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/SEO-by-Swaby/137031038432?v=photos&#38;ref=nf#/event.php?eid=179820995285&#38;index=1" target="_blank">Talk Like Chewbacca Day?</a>&#8220;  It makes as much sense.  If you hear me growl today, it&#8217;s not you, I&#8217;m just celebrating the holiday.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s talk about what the online implications for today are.  First of all, it appears more people are shopping online for Black Friday deals beginning as early as Thanksgiving Day.  <a href="http://money.cnn.com/2009/11/28/news/economy/holiday_shopping_saturday/index.htm" target="_blank"><em>CNN Money</em> reports</a>:</p>
<blockquote><p>It was a stronger picture for Internet retailing. The average online order on Black Friday rose 35% from last year, to $170.19, according to online retail analyst Coremetrics &#8212; an indication that people may be looking to buy gifts after a year of economic woes.</p>
<p>Online shopping will garner more attention Monday &#8212; the so-called Cyber Monday &#8212; when many Americans will take advantage of computers at work to shop for gifts.</p></blockquote>
<p>This is a trend that will continue to grow.  As the Internet becomes more familiar and more trust in the process is developed by consumers and businesses, it&#8217;s natural that more commerce will take place online.  A 35% increase in online sales is quite substantial year over year.</p>
<p>With more people searching online it&#8217;s even more important to be found.  I&#8217;m starting to notice more ads on Facebook with coupon offers for fanning a company&#8217;s <a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/SEO-by-Swaby/137031038432?v=photos&#38;ref=nf#/pages/SEO-by-Swaby/137031038432?ref=nf" target="_blank">business page</a>.  That&#8217;s a good idea for any of you e-tailers out there.  Couldn&#8217;t a coupon work for a service or a restaurant as well?</p>
<p>I believe competition is good for consumers and as more of our eyeballs are on the Internet, we&#8217;ll see more innovation and more creative ways to capture sales online.</p>

<p>Allora mi sono messo a pensare a quale potrebbe essere una strategia di marketing per l&#8217;uscita dell&#8217;album e mi è venuta un&#8217;idea.</p>
<p>Siccome i Red Hot Chili Peppers sono una band universale, amata soprattutto dalla gente che suona (chitarra, basso, batteria poco importa) ho pensato a questo:</p>
<p><strong>Singolo di lancio</strong></p>
<p>Mettere in free-download 4 settimane prima dell&#8217;uscita del primo singolo, la traccia del singolo esclusivamente del basso. La settimana dopo la traccia in mp3 solo della chitarra, quella dopo ancora della batteria e infine quella della voce.</p>
<p>Gli utenti avranno di che parlare per un mese prima di ascoltare il singolo nella sua interezza (e &#8220;giocheranno&#8221; a costruirlo attraverso quei 4 mp3 degli strumenti). In più si può allestire un concorso su youtube, dove gli utenti possono riprendersi mentre suonano le 4 differenti tracce, i migliori (votati come tutti i contest online su youtube) finiranno nella Youtube-Version del videoclip del singolo.<br />
Finite queste quattro settimane il singolo uscirà nella sua versione definitiva/completa vendibile su iTunes e tutti gli store digitali.</p>

Dopo 2/3 settimane uscirà l&#8217;album. L&#8217;album sarà disponibile in più versioni:<br />

<p>Come viene sottolineato nella prefazione di Diego Masi (presidente di Assocomunicazione) il libro nasce dall’esperienza lavorativa dei quattro autori, che con la loro agenzia sono stati tra i primi a lavorare in modo sistematico sul buzz marketing in Italia.</p>
<p><a href="http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buzz_marketing" target="_blank">Il Buzz (o viral) marketing</a> è una disciplina che nasce in un contesto che è ben spiegato all’interno del primo capitolo del libro: <strong>il pubblico cambia e il nuovo consumatore postmoderno cerca il dialogo con l’azienda </strong>(e con gli altri consumatori) attraverso una serie di siti e strumenti raccolti sotto il nome generico di web 2.0.</p>
<p>Una parte importante di queste tecniche è il <strong>WOM (Word of Mouth)</strong>, ossia il passaparola già studiato negli anni ’60 da Lazarfeld nonché oggetto del secondo capitolo, tra buzz marketing e viral marketing. Oltre agli obiettivi e alle strategie viene anche dedicato uno spazio importante all’etica professionale che è molto importante in questo ambito, visto che il WOM da parte degli utenti dovrebbe essere spontaneo e sostanzialmente gratuito.</p>
<p>Altro aspetto, trattato nel capitolo tre, è il <strong>social media marketing</strong>, ossia l’attività volta a promuovere un sito o un prodotto attraverso l’utilizzo dei social network e gli altri social media, attività spesso trascurata dalle aziende per mancanza di competenze interne oltre che di tempo.<br />
Non mancano qui i casi di studio di successo, sia a livello di attività di marketing sia per quanto attiene a quel mondo particolare e affascinante che sono le brand communities.</p>
<p>Come spesso evidenziato anche in questo blog prima di agire è importante conoscere che cosa si dice di noi sulla rete, attraverso <strong>il monitoraggio della reputazione online</strong>, i cui principi ed i tool di riferimento sono descritti in dettaglio nel capitolo 5.</p>
<p>Infine il libro si chiude su di una panoramica interessante dedicata ai modi in cui <strong>il buzz online si lega e si integra con il passaparola off-line</strong>.</p>
<p>In conclusione Buzz Marketing nei social media è un libro interessante e concreto, che unisce  l’esperienza professionale degli autori a delle valide sintesi dei principali testi sul social media marketing, come <a href="http://webspecialist.wordpress.com/2009/04/17/l%e2%80%99onda-anomala-interagire-e-comunicare-con-i-consumatori-ribelli/" target="_self">L’Onda Anomala</a> e <a href="http://webspecialist.wordpress.com/2009/01/14/la-coda-lunga-da-un-mercato-di-massa-ad-una-massa-di-mercati/" target="_self">La Coda Lunga</a>.<br />
Una lettura sicuramente consigliabile, specie per chi approccia per la prima volta questi temi.</p>

<li>Search engine strategy was key to marketing online &#8211; with paid for search getting the highest portion of online budgets (37%)</li>
<li>Only 7% of marketing budgets were spent on social media this year &#8211; but more than 60% of survey respondents stated they plan to increase their social media budgets in 2010.</li>
