This is the best way to describe the week I just had in a hands-on style wedding photography class with Hanson Fong.

I was skeptical at first about going to this class in Columbia, SC. This was held at The Lamarr School on USC campus. My good friend David Junker with Muse 10 Photography talked me into it and convinced me of the investment that I was making.

There were so many amazing speakers there. I chose to learn from Hanson Fong. He is known all over the world for his lighting and posing for weddings. What followed was a solid week of learning. Hanson was a machine, we started early and he would never take breaks or stop for lunch. He only wanted a Coca-Cola and he would continue teaching. Often he wanted to stay after class had ended to give more personal instruction.

I gained new knowledge for wedding posing and lighting, as well as friendships that will last a lifetime. I’m excited for what next year holds.
