Disclaimer: I will use the word dyke as an identity numerous times in this post. Some people may feel all lesbians are dykes, some may feel that it is a derogatory word and shouldn’t be used. After reading this some of you may decide i am just using a different word for butch, or boi, or stud, or masculine lesbian, but while all of those identities share some commonalities I do feel there is a difference and I am primarily attracted to dykes. I believe that different areas, different cultures and different people can develop different identity labels and what really matters is how we see ourselves. In this case I am talking about what Nightrider and a good number of the people we socialize with in Boise Idaho identify as. This post is of that opinion, and is not meant to offend anyone.

The definition we have decided on over much discussion is Dyke: A lesbian who often has a masculine look and attitude about her, though she may not necessarily be butch. It was and still is used as a derogatory word, except within gay circles where it has been reclaimed & is used as a descriptive word & identity.  A dyke is not defined by her masculinity but rather lets it be a part of who she is.

Also labels will be used in this post and on this site, while many of the community feel labels are a problem and shouldn’t be used, i have no problem expressing myself and others through them. The labels I use and that others use are fluid identity and are decided by that person, therefore I don’t see a problem with them. If you don’t like it, don’t read it.

Your eyes connect with me across a crowded bar you already know you have me in your back pocket.  You stand there in your mens dress shirt and tie paired with women’s slacks that showcase your ass in  way that gives a hint of the little secret that is already between us. You spot me as easily as I spot you, even past my femininity that makes people question my sexuality, and creates an invisible barrier to the untrained eye. Your swagger screams cocky confidence with the innocence of a little boy as  you approach me and the game of cat and mouse begins. A game that you will always win with a pin of me up against a wall in a dark corner somewhere,  my dress pushed up to my breasts and you in between my thighs.  It is dykes like you that light my fire, that make my toes curl, that make me step outside of myself and take every chance the heart desires. Dykes like you that capture my heart, soul, and the deepest wettest parts of me.

I love the way you move in a week later, never questioning your feelings or the sincerity of mine. The walls you spoke of when we first met already crumbled and broken down, I captured you just as easily as you saved me. I am your lady from day one and you are mine. Your old school chivalry  with bouts of door opening, chair pulling and ladies femmes first maneuvers finds my inner Scarlette O’Hara and sweeps me off my feet. That’s what separates you from the norm and makes dykes like you able to get rowdy with your boi’s but still be the well mannered and well groomed gentledyke I can take home to mom.

Dykes like you have an intelligence that blows me away on a daily basis. Its almost like foreplay learning something new from you everyday or witnessing another talent you have harnessed over time. The not so typical adds on to the gender fluidity that is  you as you don’t play into the hetero-normative people accuse dynamics like ours of imitating. In one day you can mow the law, whip up a souffle, change my oil, sew on a button, fix the garbage disposal and be the best loving mother I have ever seen.

I love how you showcase the fluidity of your genderfuck status not only in the abilities you have but in every aspect that is you. You are a female body full of masculine energy but don’t allow yourself to be defined by it. You are a men’s cologne that everyone can smell that lingers on curves that only I get to know exist. You are a secret set special for me, an appearance to others of a tough  exterior, the kind of dyke that could beat the hell out of anyone, but little do they know the blush dykes like you get in your cheeks or the wetness in between your thighs when I call you handsome, and that you cried both times you saw August Rush. Even if they knew dykes like you don’t care, and that makes me love you even more. Your self assured understanding of who you are, defying social norms and outing yourself dozens of times each day with each stranger who sees the way you stand, the buzzed hairline that I run my fingers across each night and making no apologies for it adds to my admiration.  It is your calm cool collective nature that could almost be misconstrued for a laid back arrogance that compliments the worrying, over analyzing nature of this femme in overprices shoes and far too much lipstick and makes dykes like you the other half of my soul and the counter part to my identity.

Its dykes like you that makes my heart flutter and my knees shake as you play into my femminity in a way that you know I need. That you try to match your tie to my dress, and are always there to hold me up when my heels are too high for safe tipsy walking.  Its your greasy hands that find my milky white skin after you have changed my flat tire for the 4th time this year.  You know exactly where I keep my jack & how just saying the word lugnut can have me naked in under 30 seconds. Your the dyke that scrapes my car in the winter months, and lets me win at cards every now and then, and wont rush me when I am already making us late with my primping routine.

Dykes like you take fucking to a whole new level. It starts with your smirk of satisfaction when my body language is begging you to fuck me senseless and that aw schucks grin when I tell you no one could ever make me cum the way you can. Dykes like you can top femmes like me with ease, can handle any sexual task with confidence and strenght & will always enjoy the control over your pillow princess. The common definition of droughtness is decrease of water yield or wetness which is temporary and significant under normal level for special time duration. Droughtness have relationship with low rainfall or climate semi-drought, but droughness also happened in area which high rainfall. Using of remote sensing and GIS be able to identification potential area of drought vulnerability. Transformation with brighness index, wetness index, vegetation index (NDVI) from image processing can detection droughtness from the surface. Other parameter are condition of akuifer, rainfall, landform, and landuse can be  determining factor of droughtness. The result of the research is identified area of Karangsambung, Karanggayam, Sadang, Alian, Puring, Klirong, Buluspesantren, Ambal and Mirit have potential droughness.

Kekeringan secara umum bisa didefinisikan sebagai pengurangan pesediaan air atau kelembaban yang bersifat sementara secara signifikan di bawah normal atau volume yang diharapkan untuk jangka waktu khusus. Kekeringan paling sering dihubungkan dengan curah hujan yang rendah atau iklim semi kering, sementara kekeringan juga terjadi pada daerah-daerah dengan jumlah curah hujan yang biasanya besar. Kabupaten Kebumen merupakan salah satu kabupaten di Jawa Tengah yang berada di bagian selatan. Penggunaan lahan yang berupa lahan pertanian di Kabupaten Kebumen lebih dari 50% dari total jenis penggunaan lahannya, masyarakat secara umum masih banyak yang menggantungkan mata pencahariannya terhadap lahan pertanian. Tahun 2008 Sedikitnya 26 desa yang tersebar di Kabupaten Kebumen dilanda kekeringan, masyarakat kesulitan air bersih dan air irigasi menyusul menurunnya debit sumber air dan Sungai Luk Ulo, Kalibanda, dan Telomoyo hal tersebut mengakibatkan sekitar 2000 hektar lahan pertanian mengalami kekeringan dan gagal panen. Penggunaan data penginderaan jauh dan SIG dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi daerah yang rawan kekeringan. Menggunakan transformasi mengenai indeks kecerahan, indeks kebasahan serta indeks vegetasi dapat mengetahui kondisi permukaan dalam hubunganya dengan kekeringan, parameter lain seperti kondisi akuifer, curah hujan serta jenis penggunaan lahan pertanian kering faktor penentu dalam mengidentifikasi kekeringan. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengidentifikasikan bahwa sebagian Kecamatan di Kabupaten Kebumen yang meliputi Karanggayam, Karangsambung, Sadang, Alian, Puring, Klirong, Buluspesantren, Ambal dan Mirit terdeteksi memeliki potensi kekeringan.

Motode yang digunakan dalam memperoleh hasil adalah menumpangsusunkan parameter-parameter yang berpengaruh terhadap kekeringan dengan menggunakan SIG, sebagai bahan data primer digunakan data citra satelit Landsat TM (thematic mapper). Alat dan bahan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini antara lain peta digital Kabupeten Kebumen, Citra Landsat TM path/row 120/065, data curah hujan, data geohidrologi, seperangkat alat komputer lengkap dengan program pemetaan data vektor dan pemroses citra digital. Parameter-parameter yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi bentuklahan, geohidrologi, curah hujan, serta penggunaan lahan yang berupa lahan pertanian kering. Data-data tersebut di dapat dari bahan data primer berupa citra landsat TM, data sekunder dari penelitian sebelumnya, serta data hasil ceking lapangan

Curah hujan merupakan salah satu faktor utama dalam menentukan kondisi permukaan dalam sudut pandang sumberdaya air. Hujan merupakan suatu masukan (input) yang akan diproses oleh permukaan lahan untuk menghasilkan suatu keluaran. Wilayah yang mempunyai tingkat curah hujan rendah maka kondisi sumberdaya air baik air permukaan maupun air tanah semakin lama akan semakin menurun, sehingga berpengaruh pada sosial ekonomi masyarakat. Aliran air tanah yang mengalami penurunan akan mengakibatkan masyarakat susah dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidup, aliran permukaan yang mengalir pada sistem sungai kecil akan berdampak pada kemampuan irigasi.

Curah hujan yang ada di Kabupaten Kebumen Jawa Tengah menggambarkan adanya variasi,  hujan yang terjadi terbagi menjadi lima kelas, curah hujan 2000 – 2500 mm/tahun dengan seluas 22070,94 km², penyebaran curah hujan ini terbagi menjadi dua zonasi, zonasi pertama hujan terjadi di daerah dengan jenis bentuklahan pegunungan denudasional dan perbukitan struktural dengan jenis tanah eutrudepts/hapuldals. Isohyet curah hujan pada zonasi yang kedua berada pada kawasan bentuklahan pegunungan denudasional, bukit sisa, dataran kaluvial-aluvial, dataran aluvial, serta beting gisik dengan jenis tanah eutrudepts/ hapludals, endoaguepts/ endoaquent, dan udipsamment/ endoaquents.

Hujan 2500 – 3000 mm/tahun dengan seluas 83352,89 km² , sebagian besar di Kabupaten kebumen mempunyai curah hujan kelas kedua yang merupakan kelas yang tergolong relatif rendah dari semua kelas yang ada, sebaran pada curah hujan kelas ini juga meliputi topografi datar, landai, wilayah pesisir hingga pada daerah perbukitan. Jenis bentuklahannya meliputi pegunungan denudasional, perbukitan denudasional, perbukitan struktural, bukit sisa, dataran aluvial, perbukitan kapur serta beting gisik dengan jenis tanah eutrudepts/hapludals, endoaguepts/endoaquent, endoaquepts/endoaquepts, eutrudepts/udorthers, hapluduls/dystrudepts, haprendolls/hapludalfs dan udipsamment/endoaquents.

Hujan 3000 – 3500 mm/tahun dengan seluas 23979,09 km² Isohyet berada pada daerah dengan topografi berbukit sedang sampai tinggi dengan bentuklahan pegunungan denudasional dan perbukitan struktural serta mempunyai jenis tanah hapluduls/dystrudepts, eutrudepts/udorthers, dan eutrudepts/hapludals. Sedangkan curah hujan 3500 – 4000 mm/tahun dengan seluas 1908,24 km² dan curah hujan 4000 – 4500 mm/tahun dengan seluas 638,48 km² hanya merupakan kawasan yang kecil dengan topografi berbukit sedang yang berada pada bentuklahan perbukitan struktural dengan jenis tanah hapluduls/dystrudepts. Parameter curah hujan merupakan faktor penentu kondisi permukaan dalam kaitannya dengan sumberdaya air yang mempunyai hubungan pada kekeringan.

Hidrogeologi merupakan bagian dari hidrologi yang mempelajari penyebaran dan pergerakan air tanah dalam tanah dan batuan di kerak Bumi. Pengaruh hidrogeologi dalam kekeringan adalah adanya penyimpanan air dalam lengas tanah ataupun akuifer sehingga kondisi air tanah tidak kontinuitas, suplai air tanah ke sungai (influent) tidak ada dan menjadikan aliran permukaan pada sistem sungai menjadi kecil atau hampir tidak ada. Umumnya batuan yang mempunyai sifat yang tidak lolos air serta daya simpan air yang kecil potensi air tanah yang terkandung pada daerah bersangkutan kecil.

Kondisi hidrogeologi di Kabupaten Kebumen pada dasarnya adalah wilayah yang mempuynayi akuifer produktif, walaupun dengan intensitas setempat sampai penyebaran luas. Kondisi air tanah langka pada wilayah ini sekitar 46905, 78 hektar yang meliputi sebagain Kecamatan Sempor, Karanggayam, Karangsambung, Sadang, Padureso, daerah tersebut merupakan wilayah dengan topografi berbukit. Akuifer dengan produktifitas kecil setempat berada di sebagian Kecamatan Ayah, Gombong, Sruweng, Karanganyar dan Rowokele serta sebagian kecil di Kecamatan Padureso yaitu sekitar 16113,17 hektar, di Kecamatan Ayah akuifer tersebut berada pada zona karst gombong selatan. Penyebaran akuifer dengan produktifitas sedang sampai sempit berada di apit oleh keadaan wilayah dengan akuifer dengan produktifitas kecil setempat yaitu berada di Sebagian Kecamatan Buayan. Akuifer produktif dengan penyebaran luas dan sempit mempunayi luasan yang paling besar, dari bagian tengah ke selatan wilayah  Kabupaten Kebumen mempunyai  tipe akuifer ini, semakin ke arah selatan (laut) akuifer produktif penyebarannya semakin menyempit. Akuifer produktif penyebaran menyempit berada pada daerah pesisir dengan bentuklahan marin sampai fluvio-marin, sedangkan penyebaran dari ekuifer produktif dengan penyebaran luas berada di wilayah dengan tingkat pemukiman yang rapat serta wilayah yang relatif datar.
