A hard slog, had enough, troubled within, despairing tough.
It is to be searched for, longed for, hated itself.

What is love? I always wonder what love is. Is it sweet? Or bitter? Or both of them? Is it worth enough to fight for a woman or a guy in the name of love? Is hurting can’t be avoided when love is the subject? Must we choose the one we love if we just hurting other who love us?

Every time people talk about love, I just feel something that’s not right. Every time I read about romance, it just made me want to laugh in bitterness and tear. What is love? Just one experience and all I get is hurt and fright? I am afraid to love someone and to return someone’s love. It just made me remember the hurt feeling I once had.

O dear.  I’ve been waking up so late lately(o:
Maybe it’s because I stay up till midnight every night for the past few nights.
Just to let you know everyone, that is not healthy.
I like waking up earlier I think.
You get to watch the sunrise…and in my opinion, the sunrise is so much better than the sunset.

Anyway, because I’ve been going to bed so late, my skin is acting up.
I hate that.
Sometimes I just wish I had a perfect face and wouldn’t have to worry about all the flaws..but this is not the case.
So, I’ve had to deal with horrid skin for the past few days..
that is enough to make me want to go to bed earlier.

Moral of the story..?
Go to bed early.
Your skin will be beautiful(o;

Don’t worry about it.

Last night was perfect though♥  We watched a docu[movie] called PAPER HEART.  This is my new favourite movie.  You just have to see it for yourself.  The lead girl is the most adorable thing you have ever seen.  I love how she was portrayed.  She was pretty on the inside, and that is what made her pretty on the outside.  Kind of ties in with my little

Loveway Records/Sire has revealed the track-listing for What Is Love? — the debut album from 18-year-old singer-songwriter and guitarist Christofer Drew, who records under the name Never Shout Never. The album will be released by Loveway Records/Sire on January 26th, 2010.

A video for the title track to What is Love? will premiere exclusively on MySpace on December 15th. On December 8th, Never Shout Never will release a new physical EP exclusively through clothing retailer Hot Topic, which features two songs from What Is Love? (“Jane Doe” and “What is Love?”), a live track (“Big City Dreams”), a b-side (“She’s Got Style”), plus two music videos (“On the Brightside” and a live video of “Trouble”). Physical copies will be available for purchase exclusively at Hot Topic stores nationwide. Tom needed to use my AAA roadside service to tow his truck to my house so that he could fix it up and give it away. The tow truck came, hitched the truck and followed me back to my house. This was all well except for the fact that he could drive no faster than 60 mph. It completely irritated me to drive so slooowly in the slowest lane for 18 miles!!! It took some time but we made it.

Later, on our way to Menlo Park Presbyterian for a Thanksgiving Eve night of worship, George was following me going anywhere between 45-55 mph in a 65 mph zone!!! It was making me crazy! Then it dawned on me that the Lord is trying to show me something. Was He teaching me how to lead? Was He showing me that I’m the one who’s slow? What?

After the worship session, we went to Coco’s where LaSundra proceeded to tell us how she’s able to lead meaningful worship in churches where the congregation is so stoic. She said that God told her to be all things to all people. She would just need to do her part and He would do His. “Focus on Me! Be patient.”

I asked the Lord to show me how to love. He’s  showing me that love is patient.

It is followed by of before the evil endured; as patient of labor or pain; patient of heat or cold.
2. Not easily provoked; calm under the sufferance of injuries or offenses; not revengeful.
3. Persevering; constant in pursuit or exertion; calmly diligent.
4. Not hasty; not over eager or impetuous; waiting or expecting with calmness or without discontent.

Wow…according to all of these definitions, I need to learn to be patient.  If God = Love, and Love = Patient, and I am to reflect His image then I need to be patient.  O Lord, help me to be patient.

The world defines love as:

2. a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.
3. sexual passion or desire.

God defines love as:

1. Patient
2. Kind
3. Not envious
4. Not boastful
5. Not proud
6. Not rude
7. Not self-seeking
8. Not easily angered
9. Keeps NO records of wrongs
10. Does NOT delight in evil
11. Rejoices with the truth
12. Always protects
13. Always trusts
14. Always hopes
15. Always perseveres
16. NEVER fails

1. Love is absolutely conditional. 
2. Love provides but it also neglects. 
3. Love has nothing to do with “making love.”

What Is Love?

The best way for me to answer this question is to start by telling you what love is not. Love isn’t selfish, envious, self-seeking, easily angered, prideful, rude, nor is it sex. (Then what is love exactly?) Love is the opposite of those things mentioned. Love is patient, kind, selfless, humble, attentive, trustworthy, protective, hopeful, and most of all giving. Love is not something you say. Love is an action. So many of us use this word in vain. We say we love ice cream then turn around with the same tongue and say we love our mother. We say we love to a certain clothing store and in the same breath we say we love God. If those statements were true our actions would line up with them. Love isn’t  just a noun, it is a verb.

How Do I Love?

I believe a person can never truly love someone in full else unless they know what love is and have truly been loved and have seen love. The bible says God is Love (1 John 4:16). This is because God gave his only son (John 3:16). Picture this: God and his son delighting in each other. God pleasing his son ans his son pleasing him. They share everything, they are joyful, caring, and faithful to each other. Then God sees us in trouble, headed toward hell, and he sends his only son, who makes his heart smile, who is perfect to him in every way, who is pleasing to him; and he sends him to earth willingly so he can pour out his anger, wrath, and judgment on him just to save us. That’s love. Jesus prayed “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done” (Luke 22:42) not because he didn’t want to die for us. It was because he knew the relationship him and his father had and now God was going to pour out his wrath on his son. He loved his father and his father loved him. He didn’t want to lose that relationship, even for the moments he was on the cross. That relationship was his everything. But God loved us.

To love we have to be selfless. Love gives. To love means to lay down your will to please the other. Whether it be in relationships with a spouse, child, or God. Love gives your all to that person. Everything in you; your thoughts, your time, your gifts, your money, your heart, your focus, your days, your years, your life. Love gives.

Love Isn’t Blind (Unconditional Love)

“How can someone love their spouse unconditionally if that person is perfect”…(Devvon Horn). I believe that we as men and woman can never love someone we are with unconditionally if they are just like us. True love sees a person for what they are; the good, the bad, assets, flaws, all wrapped in one, and looks past that and says “I still love you”. True love isn’t blind. It sees your filth, your flaws, your imperfections and continues to love you despite it.

Conclusion

When a person says that they love you look to their actions to prove that the words they say are true. Love is the most beautiful thing to see and to know. Love made perfect is laying down your life for someone else. Lay down your life for the ones you love.

Apple spot interno – EasyPay

In questo raro spot (che Apple cerca di eliminare con tutte le sue forze, quando lo vedrete ne capirete il motivo) la casa di Cupertino (per la comunicazione interna) ha prodotto questa rielaborazione di What is love di Haddaway. Buone risate!

Nel lontano 2006 bisognava far familiarizzare i dipendenti della mela con il sistema EasyPay (che tra l’altro, orrore orrore, girava con un sistema Windows Mobile -pensate il colmo!-) e così venne commissionato questo spot interno.

La storia è breve ma divertente: una coppia di mezz’età va in un Apple Store e fa scorpacciata di prodotti ma la momento del pagamento partono cancheri e bestemmie per problemi tecnici.

Dal nulla balza fuori questo ingasato giovane, con tanto di occhialoni, sorriso e due patonzoline cinesi che gli ballano intorno: sulle trascinanti note di What is love di Haddaway diventa Maddaway e porta il verbo dell’EasyPay nel negozio, spiegando con disinvoltura e metrica azzeccata i vantaggi del nuovo sistema di pagamento.

Il risultato è a dir poco demenziale, con un gigante pos EasyPay che gode tra le due ragazze sculettando a tempo e la moglie del brav’uomo che lo prende a colpi di borsetta (stava guardando vogliosamente le due ragazze, iniziando a sbottonarsi la camicia).

Sicuramente una corporate song che non passa inosservata, decisamente il tentativo più tamarro di spiegare un nuovo sistema di pagamento, lontano anni luce dagli spot semplici ma efficaci del Get a Mac.

Concludiamo con una rassegna di spot seri, che hanno reso la Apple la grande società che è tutt’ora, con fatturati in forte attivo alla faccia della crisi. Buona visione!
