Lots of reruns tonight – you have to look far and wide to really find something new – my two cents, hit the Wednesday night ABC line up or the two hour block if GLEE on FOX!!

The 8:00 Hour –

ABC airs a rerun of HAPPY NEW YEAR, CHARLIE BROWN and THE MIDDLE – this is the episode where Frankie thinks it’s a great idea to stuff a billion discounted jelly beans into a car to try and get buyers excited about it. It goes as well as you’d expect! Over on CBS, they have reruns of THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE and GARY UNMARRIED. On CHRISTINE, Christine proves to be a worse parent than Richard, based on her super over protectiveness! On GARY, Gary tries to find a new bowling teammate after one quits before Championships.

FOX has a 2 hour block of GLEE starting with the “Vitamin D” episode that finds Teri working as the school nurse, and getting Kurt drunk! NBC starts a four episode marathon of THE OFFICE with reruns of the season premiere “Gossip” and the second episode that finds Pam and Jim shocked to learn who “The Lover” in the title refers to! Check out a rerun of a Sophia Bush directed episode that finds Dan returning to town on ONE TREE HILL on The CW.

The 9:00 Hour –

On ABC, there’s reruns of MODERN FAMILY and COUGARTOWN. On MODERN FAMILY, it’s the first day of school, and there are some issues with Manny’s choice of costuming! On COUGARTOWN, Grayson bets Jules that she can’t be alone for a full day after he sees her coming home from a date with an old man! CBS has a rerun of the episode of CRIMINAL MINDS where a poison is sent out in the air, and a member of the team risks their lives to save everyone else.

THE OFFICE marathon continues on NBC – episodes 3 and 4 are the episode where Jim and Pam double date with Michael and Pam’s mom; and the Secret Santa episode that I thought was one of their best Christmas episodes! FOX airs hour 2 of GLEE. The episode deals with Sue’s machinations within the club, pitting minorities against Finn, Quinn, and Rachel. The CW airs a rerun of the first Hilary Duff episode of GOSSIP GIRL.

The 10:00 Hour –

ABC has an all new episode of EASTWICK. The ladies agree to not let anyone know about their latest Witchly happenings. Also, Jerry O’Connell drops by to woo Kat and Darryl explains why he came back to town. CSI: NY is a rerun on CBS – the episode deals with a death at a bridal shop, and Hawkes’ investigation into the rape and murder that resembles that of his ex girlfriend. LENO is a rerun on NBC, but I still pretend that doesn’t exist.

Check out the next episode of STEVEN SEAGAL: LAWMAN on A&E. On MTV, you have the premiere of REAL WORLD DC. I can only imagine someone will be yelling obscenities at someone! TBS also has new two new episodes of MEET THE BROWNS. In episode 1, Tanya needs Cora’s help, and Brown gets quarantined. In the second episode, Tanya gets custody, and Brown breaks Edna’s record player.

After a Christmas-induced lack of updates, What’s On? is back! Not much new worth checking out tonight, but you MUST watch BETTER OFF TED tonight. Aside from the Kennedy Center Honors, it’s like the only NEW show on TV, and I’m sure you’ll love it!

The 8:00 Hour –

ABC airs RUDOLPH’S SHINY NEW YEAR which I’m sure is about Rudolph and New Year’s Eve. Over on CBS, NCIS is a rerun of the episode where the team gets involved in a gang-war and Gibbs reveals a secret.

FOX is showing a movie – THE BENCHWARMERS, featuring Rob Schneider, David Spade, and Jon Heder. NBC has a 4 episode mini-marathon of PARKS AND RECREATION. At 8 and 8:30, check out the season premiere where Leslie marries two penguins, and the second episode where she finds a marijuana plant in the middle of her community garden. Over on The CW, check out a repeat of 90210 – it’s the episode aboard Teddy’s dad’s boat.

The 9:00 Hour –

On ABC, you’ll find a rerun of the season premiere of SCRUBS. Again, most importantly, Season 2 of BETTER OFF TED continues with an all new episode at 9:30! Veronica starts slacking off at work when her ex-lover Mordor makes a return. It’s going to be genius!! CBS has the KENNEDY CENTER HONORS from 9-11. Mel Brooks, Dave Brubeck, Grace Bumbry, Bruce Springsteen, and Robert DeNiro are being honored tonight.

PARKS AND RECREATION’s mini marathon continues on NBC with the beauty pageant and practice date episodes. FOX has the movie until local programming takes over at 10. The CW airs a repeat of MELROSE PLACE – the one where Jonah fills in as a music video director and Riley hasn’t told anyone about their engagement!

The 10:00 Hour –

ABC has an all new 20/20 – the people behind the real life BLIND SIDE are featured. LENO is a repeat. CBS has the KENNEDY CENTER HONORS until 11.

Check out the next episode of TEEN MOM on MTV (a spinoff of my guilty pleasure 16 AND PREGNANT) – Catelynn needs to find somewhere to live now that her mother has moved away, Amber and Gary’s relationship continues to unravel, and Maci is struggling now that she’s officially single. You can also find a new episode of TABITHA’S SALON TAKEOVER on Bravo as she heads to a shop in Chicago!

Former Liverpool and Wales striker Dean Saunders, currently manager of Wrexham, is guest speaker at the event at the Weaver Stadium on Friday January 22.

Comedian Jed Stone will also be on the bill and a number of Nantwich Town legends have been invited as guests of honour.

Big Brother's Sophie joins in Nantwich Santa Dash fun

Hundreds of Father Christmases will descend on Nantwich this weekend for the town’s first ever Santa Dash.

And helping them celebrate will be a few famous faces including Big Brother winner Sophie Reade, X-factor singer Marie-Clare Scott and Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross.

There are two ‘dashes’ - a 2.5km and 5km race – all done in aid of local charity The Railway Children.

There will be a snow machine to provide a seasonal feel and mulled wine and Chatwins mince pies will be served up to hungry Santas.

The event starts at 9.30am on Sunday. Runners will collect their Santa Suits from Residence Restaurant and Bar.

Supporters and families can also enjoy Nantwich’s synthetic ice-rink, housed in a 5,000sq ft starlit marquee next to Residence, Mill Street.

Kids can also visit the Santa’s Grotto or enjoy face-painting fun.

Both races will start at 10.30am in Nantwich town square, and runners will complete two or four laps of the route.

Nantwich girl Sophie Reade and Ryan Shawcross will rewahand out medals and goody bags to finishers.

Catch a rerun of GREY’S ANATOMY on ABC – the second half of the season premiere. Over on CBS, there’s an all new episode of SURVIVOR. These people need to stop laying down for Russell to walk all over them! I’m now voting for Mick and Brett!

BONES is a rerun on FOX – Chad Lowe guest stars in the episode that starts at the zoo. Cam realizes that the deceased is her former fiancé. NBC has an all new SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE Holiday special – sounds like they’re going to have old holiday sketches; hope they’re good ones. Over on The CW, catch episode 7 of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES – this one’s the Halloween episode where Vicki vamps around town, doing damage!

The 9:00 Hour –

On ABC, another rerun of GREY’S ANATOMY – this time it’s the episode where Izzie returns to work after the whole almost dying thing! Future TRUE BLOOD-er James Frain guest stars. On CBS, CSI is all new – the team investigates a possible suicide pact!

A rerun of FRINGE airs on FOX. Now’s your chance to start getting caught up – the season premiere of episode 2 where the Fringe team is under loads of scrutiny! NBC’s SNL: HOLIDAYS continues through the hour. Episode 8 of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES is on the CW. This is the episode where Dean’s ex wife Arielle Kebbel stops in (did you catch the GILMORE GIRLS reference?) as Stefan’s oldest friend.

The 10:00 Hour –

ABC runs an old episode of PRIVATE PRACTICE – Violet is still recovering from the attack, Violet and Addison work through their friendship problems. An all new episode of THE MENTALIST airs on CBS – Jane is hit in the head by a baseball, causing him to flash back to his childhood! As always, NBC has LENO.

Bali 3 areas targeted for the establishment as a world heritage area in 2010 by the Organization of Education, Science and Culture of the world (UNESCO).

The third area of Tabanan Region Jatiluwih Rice, Pakerisan Watershed Subak Gianyar Desa Adat and Taman Ayun Badung.

Director General of History and Antiquities Ministry of Culture and Tourism Day on Drajat Untoro he said in Renon, Wednesday (16/12) expressed at least three areas in June 2010 has been designated as world cultural heritage.

Moreover, UNESCO has recommended to the government to supplement other documents at the latest completion in February 2010.

According to Hari Untoro, the possibility of determination of 3 areas in Bali as part of the world’s cultural heritage is very potential, as supported by social institutions that owned the local community.

“Bali is ready with the existing social order, right there pekraman village, if the other is still far away,” said Hari Untoro Drajat.

Director General of History and Antiquities Ministry of Culture and Tourism Day Drajat Untoro priorities mentioned in 8 regions of Indonesia proposed as part of the world cultural heritage such as Bali, Tanah Toraja, Nias, Muara Jambi and Trowulan.

While so far only Indonesia has the world’s cultural heritage 3 is Borobudor, Prambanan and Sangiran.

A busy Wednesday, filled with lots of reruns, but a lot of new stuff, too!

The 8:00 Hour –

ABC airs a rerun of DISNEY’S PREP AND LANDING and THE MIDDLE – this is the episode of the Block Party and Brick’s “socially challenged” diagnosis at school. Over on CBS, they have all new episodes of THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE and GARY UNMARRIED. On CHRISTINE, Molly Shannon guest stars as Christine’s neighbor – they meet up at a Christmas block party! On GARY, Gary reaches out to Allison’s boyfriend when he buys a boat for Tom to impress a girl, and they get in over their head.

FOX airs the 2 hour finale of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. Who is going to win? NBC continues the four night special THE SING OFF. Ben Folds is a fantastic judge! The five night marathon of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES continues with episode 5 – Elena starts to realize that Stefan is a vampire!

The 9:00 Hour –

On ABC, there’s reruns of MODERN FAMILY and COUGARTOWN. On MODERN FAMILY, Phil tries to teach the kids a lesson and ends up a bicycle thief! On COUGARTOWN, Bobby and Travis bond, as Jules’ bothers Greyson for a compliment! CBS has an all new episode of CRIMINAL MINDS - an ex con escapes while in the BAU’s custody, and they need to do the unsub thing and figure out where he went.

THE SING OFF continues on NBC. FOX airs hour 2 of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. The CW airs episode 6 of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES – the one where Elena hears all about Stefan’s family history.

Over on Syfy, there’s an all new episode of GHOST HUNTERS – they investigate the Hindenberg crash site in NJ! On TOP CHEF on Bravo, we have the reunion episode – find out what chef gets the fan favorite award! I’m voting Jennifer!

The 10:00 Hour –

ABC has an all new episode of EASTWICK. It’s a shame that this show has been canceled – I was starting to really like it. Wish it took less time for them to admit they were witches! On tonight’s episode, Roxie hosts a dinner party. CSI: NY is all new on CBS – Train and Kim Kardashian guest star in the episode where a reformed drug addict is murdered. LENO is all new on NBC, but I pretend that doesn’t exist.

Finally, catch an all new episode of NIP/TUCK on FX. Eric Stonestreet guest stars in the 6th season finale as a prisoner that McNamara/Troy needs to remove excess fat from – another ethical dilemma, naturally. Join us as reknowned botanical artist Sandra Sanger returns to give us an insight into her art. Sandra joined Dianne Emery’s botanical art classes in 2000 after retiring from work. She enjoys working in a realistic and detailed way, and this subject area combines her interest in plant forms, rendering and watercolour. Sandra has exhibited in The Art of Botanical Illustration 2000 and has this year exhibited in Australian Guild of Realist Artist Gallery. She has also exhibited in the Royal Botanic Gardens Shop in Melbourne.
