MEANWHILE…outside we’re getting a new deck surface as the old deck was in tough shape…

FIRST though, Ron dismantled the wonderful wheel chair ramp he built for me last fall…

and removed the lattice to slide it under the deck…

it rained all day today, but the deck is nearly done…

this time around we chose to go with man-made material…in this case the color is about the same…just no holes to fall through!

And while it was sunny and beautiful yesterday I was doing a little garden work, finally sitting and noticing how beautiful the garden is this time of year!

I took this in on trade on a new Sprinter Van with a wheelchair lift. This van has a true 9,400 miles on it. She just used it to take her daughter to appointments. It was a very well equiped, well built conversion van that had 4 high back captian chairs and a 3 passenger sofa that folds down into a bed. They took out the two center buckets, which we have sitting loose in the back of the van. If you would rather put those seats back in, and take out the mobility items you can do this.

The lift is a foldaway Braun lift that once it is up folds out of the way so you can still get inside the van from the side doors. It is fully powered, and works perfectly. They have all of the wheelchair tie downs still in place.

There is a fold down moniter for a DVD player, indirect lighting, cloth seats and real wood trim. The outside has full running boards with steps, full size side windows that open and are tinted. Sun shades and much more makes this a real fine road vehicle.
