If you’re reading this, and lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia, from 1993 – now, chances are, you played for Zao at one point, proving, that Zao watched Spinal Tap as kids, and thought it was a how-to video on band management. That objection notwithstanding, they managed to put out some really sick music, and in this author’s opinion, Where Blood and Fire Bring Rest is this revolving line-up’s best outing.

There is not much to review about this album that hasn’t already been said a million times, and a million times better, but nothing that can be said can do this album any justice. If you haven’t listened to this, and you’re a fan of Christian metal, or just metal in general, you’re missing out.
