We are so a’cited! Right after supper we will help Mom put out some cookies and milk for Santa Paws in front of the fireplace! Then we are all going to bed extra early tonight!

We know you’ve all been trying real hard to stay on Santa’s Nice List so we hope Santa brings you all that your hearts desire!

Mom used an iPhone app (kind of like Photoshop Lite!) to increase the exposure so you could see that we DO all sleep together. She was afraid if she turned on a light we’d think it was time to eat. Dur.

That would be the bottom right, split on the diagonal. Mom thinks we’re bed hogs. Jeez, Mom… There’s 3 of us and only one of you!

Oh. And did you notice what Sir Whitey is using for a pillow? Mmmhmmm. His Highness Must.Be.Touching either Gandalf or Mom.

Mom has been so busy painting our new house at the Swamp that she akshully forgot to make our 2010 Calendar until just now. Srsly.

Oh! And did you hear? We are playing The Story Game today! Hooray! So far, Sammy Meezer, Billy Sweetfeets and Derby the Sassy Cat have been written into the deepening plot! It iz very ‘aciting!

Iz very cozy. We will miss having a fireplace at our new home when we move, but Mom says we will like looking out at the Swamp and all the wildlife. And Goosies!

… or as I’ve decided to call it “Back Friday”, because that’s all I saw – people’s backs!

So. This was my first and last Black Friday. OMG! I cannot believe people do this every year! I went for one thing, and one thing only, that 19″ TV I’ve been looking for. Walmart had it in their sale flyer as available Today Only from 5-11am. So I arrived right at 5am and was absolutely amazed to see the parking lot completely FULL! I had to park in the restaurant’s parking lot across from Walmart.

I was pleasantly surprised to see plenty of carts. Unfortunately, the store was crammed full in every aisle except on the food side. You couldn’t take more than one step without stopping. Carts were overflowing. In fact many people had several carts. I finally made my way back to Electronics only to find the shelf empty. I asked an employee if they were out of them already. She explained that there was a line for a coupon to get them and pointed me in that direction. I figured they’d be out by the time I got to the front of the line, but guess what? I had my TV in my cart in about 2 minutes! Yay!

I went up to pay for it and was extremely happy to see no lines in the 3 Express Lanes for 5 items or less. I was actually back in my car with my little TV by 5:25am! Woo Hoo!

I looked back as I drove out of the parking lot. I still can’t imagine why people do that every year. And the Mall which I avoid every day of the year… what must that be like today? Wow.

I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving. I sure did. Although I barely took any photos at all, unless you count the ones I took of my cats! It was a spectacularly gorgeous day and they all enjoyed having the windows open. In fact, all 3 of them somehow managed to slip out the front door for a few moments while I was gone to pick up my camera. When I saw the front door open a tiny bit it scared me to death, but they were in the shrubs against the house and I got them back in the house quickly. They got to smell some grass. It was great fun for them while it lasted.

I may do some painting today, or I may not. We’ll see how I feel later. I hope you have a nice, relaxing day with leftovers and pie!

We are thankful for our home, which is very cozy and safe. We are thankful for our family. We are thankful that Whitey has come to live with us, even if we do have a little rumble every now and then!  

We are thankful for all our friends in the Cat Blogosphere. Even more so because you continue to visit us even when Mom has been so busy remodeling the Swamp before we all move there that we can not visit as much as we normally would.

We are also thankful that this little kitten is about to celebrate his/her first Thanksgiving in his/her new home! Tripod is already starting to play and has been purring up a storm!

And tomorrow, we will be hoping that we are thankful for some Turkey!
