belgium is a place for dubstep. that was something obvious at this year’s DOUR festival where some belgians nearly shit their pants over joker, n-type and especially rusko. wow what a festival. but the man in focus is GANJA WHITE NIGHT. he’s been cracking out tune after tune that really hit the spot. a man to follow, a man to trust. gayfish is pretty purple growler, watch out.

COMINCIA A DISSIPARSI la nebbia sul torbido intreccio di affari che ha portato all’incredibile espansione al sud (e non solo) del gruppo che faceva capo all’imprenditore novarese. Rivela una gola profonda: “Finanziamenti regionali per corsi che non venivano effettuati” Novara, “Romanzo criminale” avevamo titolato qualche settimana fa l’inchiesta con la quale provavano ad addentrarci nella torbida storia della crisi di Phonemedia e del gruppo aziendale del quale faceva parte . Romanzo criminale anche per intendere che gli strumenti classici (trattative sindacali, confronti in cornici istituzionali , interventi pubblici) che la nostra società in genere attiva per fronteggiare queste emergenze rischiavano di rivelarsi inadeguati alla bisogna e, in qualche modo ed a certe condizioni di incomprensione della particolarissima realtà con la quale ci si doveva misurare, persino controproducenti. Ora, con l’approfondirsi di quella stessa inchiesta, con l’emergere di sempre nuovi ed opachi aspetti che ineriscono l’ attività di quel gruppo imprenditoriale , l’allarme che ci spinse a quel titolo ed a quell’impostazione nell’interrogarci su quanto stava (e sta) avvenendo , non può che risultarne enfatizzato. In parole semplici: c’è da stare in campana. Ed ancor meglio c’è da andare a scavare con impegno e mezzi appropriati su quanto e’ avvenuto negli ultimi anni perché altrimenti non ci si attrezza convenientemente per trovare una qualche via d’uscita ad una crisi dal potenziale sociale esplosivo per la quantità ed il tipo di lavoratori che coinvolge direttamente ed indirettamente: se non si ha contentezza dell’interlocutore e dei suoi veri obiettivi è evidentemente difficile individuare un obiettivo raggiungibile . Per esempio il ruolo delle istituzioni pubbliche e la leva dei finanziamenti pubblici. A voler estremizzare le conclusioni che parrebbero già in qualche modo implicite ai dati che stanno emergendo sulla qualità e le modalità del business di Raf ci sarebbe da chiedere l’erezione immediata di un diaframma insuperabile che protegga il danaro pubblico dall’assalto piratesco che parrebbe aver alimentato, finché ha potuto essere attinto con la disinvoltura che qui documentiamo, lo svilupparsi di un gigante dai piedi d’argilla. PHONEMEDIA, IL BUSINESS era la formazione Il gruppo Cazzago ha incassato milioni al sud Ma come è arrivato il Gruppo Raf (di cui Phonemedia rappresenta il “marchio” cui, tra gli altri, fa rifermento la sede di Novara ) di Fabrizio Cazzago a diventare il leader nel settore e poi a crollare come un colosso dai piedi d’argilla? Avremmo voluto chiederlo allo stesso Cazzago, ma l’imprenditore, novarese, raggiunto telefonicamente, ha chiuso la conversazione con secco “Non ho tempo per parlare con i giornalisti.” E allora abbiamo provato a ricostruire ascesa e crollo dello Impero Cazzago tra documenti e testimonianze di chi ha operato al suo fianco per diverso tempo.

Ci potrà essere qualche imprecisione (del resto, non e’ facile addentrarsi tra decine di società e di partecipazioni) ma il quadro che emerge è sufficientemente chiaro. E il primo elemento che scaturisce dalla ricostruzione è che il vero business è rappresentato non dalle telefonate fatte dalle migliaia di ragazzi seduti alla loro postazioni nelle varie sedi, ma dai finanziamenti per l’assunzione dei lavoratori svantaggiati (la legge 488) e per la formazione. Ecco il principale motivo per cui Raf si è allargata in molti centri del Sud Italia ed ecco perché il numero dei dipendenti si è “gonfiato” a dismisura. Al Nord la questione era, ed è diversa : finanziamenti della Regione Piemonte sono arrivati per 400 mila euro per tutti i dipendenti . Tra Calabria, Sicilia e Puglia, invece si parla di decine di milioni di euro. Un esempio? Nel 2008, per 680 lavoratori a Catanzaro e per 170 a Vibo Valentia sono entrate nelle casse Raf 11 milioni di euro. E a Bari 3 milioni per poco più di 200 addetti. E il grande lavoro di Cazzago e dei suoi manager non era solo quello di recuperare clienti per la parte call center, ma soprattutto trovare la strada per arrivare ad accedere ai finanziamenti delle Regioni meridionali. Ed e’ qui che nascono gli agganci con società di formazione calabresi e non, nonché rapporti con la Compagnia delle opere (attraverso Obiettivo lavoro – Italia lavoro). E il grande lavoro di Cazzago e dei suoi manager non era solo quello di recuperare clienti per la parte call center, ma soprattutto trovare la strada per arrivare ad accedere ai finanziamenti delle Regioni meridionali. Ed e’ qui che nascono gli agganci con società di formazione calabresi e non, nonché rapporti con la Compagnia delle opere (attraverso Obiettivo lavoro – Italia lavoro). Ma poiché è noto che i pagamenti potevano arrivare solo se l’azienda, in questo caso quelle che facevano capo a Raf e operavano nei territori meridionali, era in regola con tutti i pagamenti (cosa certificata dai cosiddetti Durc) ed e’ altrettanto noto che il gruppo Cazzago non era in regola, come e’ possibile che i finanziamenti venissero erogati? Il nostro testimone sorride e spiega : “ Intanto tutta la documentazione non ci veniva chiesta per poter accedere ai finanziamenti, ma semplicemente a rendicontazione. E poi, in qualche modo un Durc lo si trovava sempre….” Sono affermazioni gravissime ( “Che sono pronto a ripetere ai magistrati che mai dovessero decidere di ascoltarmi”afferma il nostro interlocutore) che per altro non necessariamente portano al vertice del gruppo. Ma che spiegano come sia abituale un certo modo di operare in alcune Regioni del Sud: non per nulla, le inchieste delle varie Procure competenti su “finti” corsi di formazione sono numerose e hanno avuto vasta eco(dice niente il nome “Why not?). Per poter partecipare ai bandi della Regione Calabria, così ci è stato spiegato, occorreva necessariamente appoggiarsi a società di formazione locali e il gruppo Raf (sceso al Sud con due società, Web Call Center Ring e Multivoice) fa riferimento ad esempio per quest’anno, a Csl Calabria e intrattiene rapporti con Sabatino Savaglio (un altro personaggio finito sotto inchiesta) : arrivano 900 mila euro per 200 lavoratori . “ Tra l’altro non sempre la legge 488 serve davvero a creare nuovi posti di lavoro – continua il nostro interlocutore – Capitava infatti che venissero fatte dimettere quelle persone che avevano un contratto a tempo determinato e poi gli stessi addetti venivano assunti con i finanziamenti della 488, a tempo indeterminato. Ma i posti di lavoro erano sempre gli stessi”. Il collegamento con le Compagnia delle opere calabrese avviene attraverso Francesco Saladino , responsabile del settore amministrativo di “Soft4Web”, la società di Raf che operava a Vibo Valentia, cugino di quell’Antonio Saladino leader della Compagnia delle opere in Calabria e finito sotto inchiesta. Francesco Saladino si è dimesso il 13 novembre , venerdi’ scorso. Un’altra società alla quale Raf si appoggia per ottenere finanziamenti è la “Niu.com” di Bruno Sergi. Tra i suoi molti collaboratori c’è anche Marco Manucci, ex amministratore delegato di Multivoice srl, la cui sorella è impiegata alla Regione Calabria, settore “formazione e lavoro”. E’ evidente che in queste situazioni e questi legami di parentela di per sé non indicano illeciti: ma certamente sono situazioni che devono essere segnalate. Alcune delle varie società che sono entrate nell’orbita Raf provenivano dalla società di Ermanno Traverso e Gianni Catanzaro (BServices) che per un certo periodo sono stati soci di Cazzago. Al nord la situazione è differente : là dove si fanno i corsi di formazione (ad esempio, attraverso la Scuola dei mestieri di Vercelli) , questi corsi sono effettivi. Fabrizio Cazzago è da sempre vicino al centro destra, in particolare a Forza Italia; un rapporto particolare l’ha con Roberto Rosso, parlamentare del Pdl, conosciuto attraverso la famiglia Favini che gestisce Logotel (una società specializzata nella formazione). “Nel 2005 abbiamo così aperto Trino, anziché Pero come era in programma – conferma il nostro testimone – Forse sarà stato un caso, o forse si erano create condizioni migliori nel Vercellese.” “Faccio fatica a capire dove stanno alcuni collegamenti, ad esempio quelli con la Compagnia delle– ci dice Roberto Rosso – Io sono di Comunione e liberazione, ma non mi risulta che Cazzago ne faccia parte. E, nonostante quella che si mormora, non ho nulla a che fare con la sede di Trino di Raf, né sono un socio occulto di Cazzago. Anche perché non ci sarebbe alcun motivo di occultare alunchè.” Chiunque siano stati gli eventuali partener di Fabrizio Cazzago non si modifica il quadro di responsabilità di un ruolo dal quale non ci si puo’dimettere; nemmeno davanti ad un notaio. E da questo punto la storia di Phonemedia una volta di più dovrebbe ammonire tutti circa il paradosso rappresentato dal fiume inestinguibile di soldi pubblici che viene incanalato verso sud del nostro paese e finisce puntualmente, con l’irrogare non il lavoro e l’occupazione ma la speculazione basata sul “posto” . Per altro la “formazione” con lautissimi contributi europei che a disposizione rappresenta da tempo e per troppi un bottino allettante piuttosto che non un’occasione di sano investimento. Per questo quando si invocano tavoli ministeriali e governativi saremmo a dir poco prudenti: il rapporto emerge fra questo gruppo e le istituzioni fa venire i brividi! Forse sarebbe molto più appropriato e costruttivo un intervento che faccia pulizia , che crei trasparenza e quindi le condizioni (perciò poi e non ora) per un eventuale intervento pubblico. Inutile girarci intorno:finché non si fa chiarezza vera su cosa è avvenuto a determinare la crisi del gruppo; finché non si fa chiarezza sul passaggio(?) di proprietà; finché non si fa chiarezza su chi sono e con quali obiettivi i nuovi(?) soggetti che hanno la proprietà del gruppo è semplicemente paradossale, e probabilmente controproducente, pretendere l formalizzazione di un piano industriale e rivendicare garanzie ed impegni. E poi impegni di chi, da chi e perché? Da questo punto di vista, fuori di ipocrisie campanilistiche ed opportunismi di maniera, non v’ha dubbio che esiste un uomo cui con forza e determinazione quelle domande andrebbero poste attendendosene risposte congrue e convincenti. Quest’uomo è un novarese, un novarese “eccellente” per pedigree e relazioni sociali; è Fabrizio Cazzago. Il self made man che ha firmato la vertiginosa ascesa del suo gruppo salvo disfarsene questa estate è, nel bene e nel male. Il gossip lo dà con un piede ed anche più nelle comode e riservate atmosfere del Ticino svizzero ma non di meno Cazzago è un imprenditore novarese al 100% non fosse altro perché il cuore del suo ex impero industriale nonché la sua origine hanno la denominazione d’origine controllata novarese.

Ed è quindi a lui che avremmo voluto rivolgerci direttamente per ottenere finalmente risposte in chiaro e verificabili dopo troppi mesi trascorsi dietro paraventi e cortine. SERVE CHIAREZZA SUL PASSAGGIO DI PROPRIETA’ E SU CHI (E CON I QUALI OBIETTIVI) SONO I NUOVI PROPRIETARI Risposte, va da sé, non per noi ed una nostra qualche malsana curiosità quanto per spiegare finalmente a migliaia di nostri conterranei cosa è capitato loro e perché; ed altrettanto, se non più, cosa possono attendibilmente aspettarsi nel futuro. Noi questa responsabilità , per la parte che attiene il nostro lavoro, la avvertiamo fortemente. Ovvio che ci aspetteremo che ancor più la avvertisse il primo responsabile di tutto quanto è avvenuto e sta avvenendo. Forse non è così….Ciò non di meno non è certo pensabile che le domande che avremmo voluto porre a Fabrizio Cazzago rimangono nel cassetto di Tribuna; non è pensabile perché sono domande le cui risposte , giunti a questo punto, in qualche modo ci riguardano tutti. Ed allora le proponiamo pubblicamente sperando che Cazzago colga l’opportunità e lo spunto per un intervento, nella forma che riterrà più consona e conveniente per lui, che serva a fare un po’ di luce ed a restituire un minimo di intelligibilità a questa storia in sé effettivamente tanto , troppo torbida. Probabilmente Cazzago non è stato solo nell’avventura imprenditoriale che l’ha portato ad edificare il gruppo che ha operato anche nella maniera descritta nella pagina qui a fianco. Ma chiunque siano stati gli eventuali suoi partner non si modifica il quadro di responsabilità di un ruolo dal quale non ci si puo’ dimettere; nemmeno davanti ad un notaio. OMEGA FA SALTARE L’INCONTRO DI OGGI A ROMA Oggi avrebbe dovuto essere una giornata decisiva per tutto il gruppo ex Cazzago: era previsto un incontro al “solito” tavolo ministeriale tra i rappresentanti di Omega, i sindacati e i responsabili del ministero. “Era un appuntamento – spiega E.C.- sindacalista Cisl – perché Omega avrebbe dovuto comunicare il proprio piano industriale e avrebbe dovuto confermarci di aver effettuato la ricapitalizzazione, momento decisivo per le sorti future di tutti i “lavoratori”. E invece così non è stato: l’azienda ha fatto sapere di non essere pronta ad alcun incontro. Senza , almeno stando a quanto risulta agli operatori Phonemedia, che abbia dato una motivazione. Così, anche l’unica notizia positiva delle ultime settimane(il fatto, cioè, che sia stata pagata un prima tranche di settembre) passa in secondo piano rispetto alla delusione della notizia dell’ultima ora. I dipendenti di tutto il gruppo parteciperanno domani allo sciopero nazionale che fa seguito all’irruzione dei “bravi” guidati dall’ex amministratore di Agile nei locali romani della società occupata . Il pullman per i lavoratori è messo a disposizione dall’amministratore provinciale. In una situazione come l’attuale, prendono corpo le “voci” più disperate , senza che vi sia una conferma . Si dice, ad esempio, che sia già in corso la procedura di sfratto per i locali di corso Risorgimento dove lavorano circa 700 dipendenti . Il proprietario dell’immobile, da noi sentito, conferma solo in parte: “E’ vero, ho numerosi affitti arretrati. Lo sfratto? E’ meglio non entrare in questi dettagli, non e’ il caso di gettare benzina sul fuoco.” Quel che è certo, e ne abbiamo già scritto su queste colonne, è che Omega h chiesto a tre società altrettanti preventivi per organizzare il trasloco (o lo sgombero) degli uffici novaresi. Un’altra “voce” riguarda i possibili esuberi previsti: si parla di una percentuale superiore al 50% degli addetti attuali. Visto che il piano industriale non è stato presentato, è difficile che sia già stato stabilito il numero di licenziamenti. Quello che è probabile, tuttavia, è che se ci saranno davvero, saranno nelle sedi al Nord: i dipendenti del Sud, infatti, essendo stati assunti grazie a finanziamenti regionali godono di una “franchigia” per la quale non possono essere licenziati per almeno tre anni.

Un Ministro di Grazia e Giustizia che si dimette, un Governo che cade, un Presidente del Consiglio accusato d’essere a capo di una loggia massonica segreta e deviata, un comitato d’affari sanmarinese, Procure contro Procure con annessi sequestri di faldoni e perquisizioni corporali di sostituti procuratori … senza contare le ore di dibattito sulla probità e sul martirio del giovane sostituto procuratore di belle speranze che aveva dato il via a questa indagine. Santoro e Travaglio hanno avuto modo di pontificare per mesi su questa nuova “mani pulite” … a due anni di distanza (un tempo brevissimo per la giustizia italiana) il primo Giudice che ha avuto modo di pronunciarsi sull’inchiesta ha buttato tutto a mare, bollando i “fatti” su cui si basava come inconsistenti e privi di riscontri oggettivi.
Delle due l’una: o De Magistris aveva ragione ed è stato insabbiato tutto, oppure aveva torto e tutto il cataclisma politico da lui creato è servito solo come trampolino per la sua carriera politica (attento Tonino, questo ha imparato la tua lezione e ti farà le scarpe … politiche ).
Comunque la si pensi è evidente l’impellente necessità di una corposa riforma della Giustizia, comunque la si pensi siamo cittadini in un Paese di merda.

Finally got to watch Zombieland and I must say it was splendid! Simply lovely! I was throughly entertained and laughed my ass off. This movie has restored my faith in Woody H. and anytime your debraining zombies I am amused. I have no clue why you would choose to go to an amusement park to avoid zombies, like at the end of the movie, but it was very enjoyable to see the zombie clown get killed, to quote Murderface “his face was smashed!!” This is a must see for any Zombie/horror fan

I was crossing the street once, pedestrian crossing signal was showing a walk sign and I was in the middle of the street and the driver was turning left. She almost killed me! It didn’t happen once, but twice and both times I got away with it. So why are these drivers driving blindly.. well hopefully you read the title of this blog post and the answer is texting.

In 2007, 5 girls in US were involved in an accident with a tractor, and guess what – investigators found out the driver was texting. This is just one of the examples about horrific accidents occurring due to texting!

It may not be long before you see this message on your cell phone, “Getting in accident. Txt u ltr?” according to report from London based RAC foundation, driving while texting is more dangerous than alcohol or marijuana. In a test of drivers between the ages of 17 and 24, those who consumed alcohol the legal limit – 0.08 for most US states – saw a 12 percent reduction in reaction time, compared with 21 percent for marijuana. Texting, however, lead to a 35 percent reduction for those who composed or read text while driving. (PC Magazine)

For love of God, I can’t understand if the governments know all about the statistics of texting and getting into accidents. Why many federal governments haven’t put same fines, same charges, or same penalties they have on drunk driving? Absolutely outrageous!

Wow what a fast week! I’m afraid to say that I got outrageously drunk on Wednesday night in the club Why Not in Aber. So drunk in fact that I lost Bex completely, an Irish guy was involved somehow, I know I was sick, I didn’t get in till about 4am, fell asleep in my clothes with the bedroom light on. I remember little about the night. I trust it was good though.

I found out yesterday morning that Bex had come home 3 hours before me. This means, I must have spent 3 hours in the toilet at Why Not being sick. It’s all very vague to me but I have vague outlines of memories from it.

I have a Creative Writing portfolio in for Monday. I’ve barely started it to be honest. I have to write two more poems (one has to be in iambic pentameter… won’t happen!), write a critical commentary about my own writing and do a bibliography of 5 books we feel could help us when writing our own work. I also have to read Titus Andronicus. This is something I’m really not looking forward to. I’ve heard it’s stupidly and unnecessarily violent. I also need to watch the film. I probably won’t do this.

I am also upset that I have no reading week this semester. I was under the impression we had one next week but a lecturer confirmed yesterday that we don’t have one until next semester. Mega sadface.

The Lions play the Rams this weekend and for the first time in ages they are favored to win and by multiple sources. I actually picked them to win this week, so far this year I have picked them to win twice (once against the Saints, in retro I have no clue why, and against the Red Skins) so they have been 50% when I pick them to win, I hope they bump me to 66.6666%. It would be nice to see them have 2 wins under their belt and It would show progress. I hope Stafford comes back, he is a far better passer than both alternatives and truly gives them the best chance to win. Hopefully Calvin Johnson will be back on the field also but still, the lions should be able to pull off a win in this game.
