This game gives you a choice of bowling,baseball,boxing,golf and tennis this amazing variety of sports and the game has been so good that my cool dad organised an amazing competition called wiimbledon where 12 people competed for a voucher at game.Plus you can use your mii’s that you have created and it comes free with your wii and on all of the sports you get a rating and if you get over a thousand rating then you are a pro and it gives you harder people to beat and if you have a friend over they can play as a guest who doesn’t have a rating at all. On wii sports you also get an age and 20 is the best age you get it by playing on wii fitness and to unlock more games to play you have to play on practice.

Names4things loves herself some tennis. This didn’t begin with the Williams’ sisters, but they certainly have added to the enjoyment. But that’s not the focus of this post.

Why, in this 21st century, are we not privy, at the player’s discretion of course, to the menstrual impact on a woman’s game? We hear and see about the impact of men’s physicality, the scratching of the asses, the adjustment of the three piece set. Women are not allowed those comforts publicly, by the way. But if men had periods, wouldn’t we be hearing about that too?

Of course we would. But we never really know with the ladies, and I am just curious as to how your game is affected, when ‘your friend’ comes to it with you.

Now, if we could just convince the white female commentators from attributing every Williams’ win to their ‘power’ instead of their distinctly different amalgams of talent, intellect, and discipline; I might be able to turn the sound on too.

Much to our disappointment, the Wiimbledon Wiinebago has decided to stay in Brooklyn (instead of making a cross-country trip, as they had originally planned). No more San Francisco event. Le sigh.

Good news to Brooklynites, though, because the event set at Barcade for Saturday, June 7, is still on.

What you really want to know about: Brooklyn Brewery will provide a three-hour open bar at Barcade. Prince is providing apparel, racquets (Wii ones, perhaps?), and shoes for winners. Brunswick will shell out Wii Bowling bags. More prizes to come.

Registration: Sign-ups for the 128-player bracket begins Monday, June 2; everything will be done online.
