How do we begin to write about Innovative Knowledge?

The one thing a modern kitchen should not go without is a juice extractor; you can now find them in most household stores at very affordable prices.

When fruit or vegetables are eaten whole, digestion – separating minerals and vitamins from the fibres – takes hours. Juicing takes away this hard labour from the digestive route by separating the fibre from the vitamins and minerals and allows the body to absorb the goodness of fruits and vegetables quickly (as it is in liquid form). 

It is the fibrous content in the fruit and vegetables that absorb the various chemicals and pesticides used in farming, which our bodies fight so hard against. The enzymes within the juice (the elements which enables your body to be nourished) remain unpolluted. However, fibre is also good for our health, as it provides roughage to aid our excretion process and acts like a broom within our intestines. So eating whole fruit and vegetables is imperative to a healthy diet. In order not to remove the fibre completely from your juice drink, you may take a spoonful of the fibre from the ‘waste’ side of your juicer and stir it in, taking care not to add uncomfortable bits, like pips and skin. This raw fibre is easy to digest, because it is in pulp form and is the best form of roughage as it retains its life, which is destroyed when cooked. 

It is recommended to drink your juice slowly, so as to deliver this essence to your body in slow proportions. Another good idea is to mimic chewing while drinking. The chewing motion prepares your stomach to digest food; this is why it is suggested that we eat slowly, for the more we chew, the more digestive juices the stomach secretes, facilitating digestion.

Below I have listed a few recipes which are ideal for specific conditions, but do not be afraid to experiment and try to mix both fruit and vegetables together.

CLEANSING ENERGY TONIC
Juice 4 cups Mixed Sprouts (especially Alfalfa, Buckwheat, Sunflower and Mung), 1 large Carrot, 1 Stalk Celery with leaves, 1/2 Cucumber, 1 Green Onion, and 2 TBS. Raw Sauerkraut.

KIDNEY FLUSH
A purifying kidney cleanser and diuretic, with high potassium and other minerals. For four 8oz. glasses:
Juice 4 Carrots with tops, 1 Cucumber with skin, 4 Beets with tops, 1 handful Spinach Leaves, and 4 Celery Stalks with leaves.

DAILY CARROT JUICE CLEANSE
For 2 large drinks:
Juice 4 Carrots, 1/2 Cucumber, 2 Stalks Celery with leaves

EXCESS BODY FLUID/WATER RETENTION CLEANSER
For 1 large drink:
Juice 1 Cucumber, 1 Beet, 1/2 Apple, seeded, and 4 Carrots with tops. -Add a 2-inch piece fresh Radish.

CONSTIPATION CLEANSE
For 2 large drinks:
Juice 1/4 head Green Cabbage, 3 stalks Celery with leaves, and 5 Carrots with tops.

Very many people believe love to be a highly attractive quality. It seems that a lot of time and effort is spent on searching for love. Sadly, only some people find it while others go on looking, sometimes right across their lives. This kind of love is about love of another person. A mutual exchange is envisaged, and sex, if not the principal goal, is at least an important accompaniment. Very often, it would seem that sex is the principal goal, while love is just something that might happen but isn’t what is being sought. Other kinds of love simply don’t feature in the minds of many people. What they seek is a love affair, as if love had but one expression. One problem with the love of one person is its exclusiveness. Yet love is a ‘many-splendoured thing’, which takes a variety of forms. It is this idea, rather than any wish to deride sexual love that is to be the topic of present concern. I don’t wish to consider love in its various forms. What I do wish to do is to consider how we are all involved in love and with a little effort could be more so. I argue that such a development would be to the good of society.

Exactly how are we all involved in love? The answer is via our daily interactions with others. At least part of this is carried out with some awareness of how we may be influencing the other person. Some of this awareness is mindful of the needs and interests of the other person. Love is present as a kind of medium through which to work. It is this quality of love which leads me to ask the really big question: shouldn’t we love everybody?  If the answer to this is a yes, then we are opening up the world to love. This is an important issue.

One might conclude that every Christian is committed to love everybody, because we are taught that we are all the children of God. Quite possibly members of other religions would support the same view. Yet, it is an enormously challenging idea. One might add that if people did generally love everybody else, the world would be a very different place. Instead of the present war-torn globe, we should have a world where differences and problems could be resolved because love provides a basis for solutions. But is the idea feasible? Is it possible to love all the varied persons one meets? And what of all the billions of people one never will meet? Can one really hold a loving disposition towards them?

These are enormous questions. Let us begin with the idea that we should be able to love everyone. Perhaps the basic idea is that we share a common humanity. No matter what they look like or where they come from, all people are human. But this is an idea that we may know rather than feel. Our religious views enable us to know this but that doesn’t provide love as a feeling. Yet, without some kind of feeling, has love any content or meaning? Thus far then, we might say that love is very demanding if we are expected to have a love for all people, which is more than a simple concept that we may have been taught at school, yet never sought to practise.

What are some of the problems if we do seek to practise a love of all people? One answer might be that there are a proportion of people who aren’t very lovable. Open selfishness, extreme self-concern, a person easily given to violent responses – these illustrate temperaments which are not easily lovable. There are also the aggressive types who seek to induce a sense of fear around them so that their belligerence gains a kind of superficial respect for their bullying stance. These are just a few examples, which show how difficult it can be to love others. But these examples could be said to illustrate superficial aspects of a person. The whole person is in fact  much more. To love such people, what is then required is the incentive to look deeper.

Another problem is that society isn’t run on the lines of love. Very many people work in organisations and these are run on lines of bureaucracy where people have positions coupled with particular duties. The result is a more or less ssuccessful operation. Yet, whatever the level of success, love would scarcely be a description of its nature. Bureaucracy might be said to sideline love, yet most organisations can scarcely be said to prevent love. It is still perfectly possible to focus attention on the love of everyone, if that is one’s wish.

Even so, a world based on people’s love for each other would be a society for which we would have to strive, and, if that is to be the case, we should need to have some idea of what it would be like. We might ask: what lies at the heart of such a manifestation? I plan to suggest some of the features of the persons who might inhabit and serve to bring about such a society. He or she would be someone with a general inclination to love others. Since I venture to argue that there is a great need for love in society, a person who radiates love or is readily available to give it, is likely to be much in demand. Of course, such a person is likely to suffer a good many rebuffs since his or her motives will often be mistaken. Nevertheless, such a person will either be able to take the rejection or even regard it as a stage in getting to know people more adequately.

It could be argued that a general love of humanity might be registered in ways other than in a person who radiates love. However, one might posit that this will be the form of love of humanity that is readily recognised. Have we any suggestions concerning how such a consciousness might be achieved? In general terms the answer might be by orienting ourselves in that direction, and the way to foster that would be to seek a life where the service of others plays an important role. This can take many forms.

In practical terms, such a life would mean working out how to engage in service activities. Many people might already be engaged this way. But others will do little or nothing of a service nature. Most communities are packed with needs, only some of which are ever met. We don’t have to look far, if we wish to involve ourselves in some service work. By involvement in the service of others, a person may expect to invoke a love of humanity or enhance the love they already possess. The experience of this type of love becomes a fact. It’s an adventure in love and one, which many people will recognise as worthwhile.

Is the claim, then, that the service of others brings an awareness that encompasses the love of everybody? This would perhaps be to expect too much. Rather, the claim is somewhat more modest. If what you seek to do is to promote your feeling for others, then, finding ways to help them is an important step in that direction. It is a step in the direction of bringing about a more loving society. Isn’t  that a step worth taking?

Este é o novo menor PenDrive do mundo (sim, aparece um novo a cada 10 dias), ele tem 16GB de capacidade, chama-se “Wink” (piscar de olhos) e é realmente bem minúsculo. O intrigante no seu anúncio é a “Winking” Sarah Palin. A não ser que ela já tenha se recuperado da derrota para o Osama Obama, o que eu duvido, é bem provável que eles tenham usado a imagem sem autorização. Alguém tem uma resposta?

It’s about bloody time I started blogging. Not just for me, but with an ulterior motive that’s been nagging me at the back of my head. Stepping out of the car this morning with a steaming hot mug of Starbucks’ most bitter brew, I almost ran into an incoming rush of conscience. Damn, I am good with words!

Well, what happened was that I realized I had so much to share and so much to accomplish online – tying up loose ends, taunting people, harassing them to no end – I’m kidding of course. I’m just here to check out the blogging phenomenon that took over the world without me in it, when I was busy doing … something back in India. Now I have all the time and inclination in the world to begin a new journey. This is where life starts to get interesting.

So, who am I? I’m a late-30s guy, living in the US, working with a hugely popular IT and web-services company (I’m sure you’d have heard of my company, wink, wink), and I work in an obscure department of the Human Resources wing. I make enough money to live in relative opulence and feed my wife and kid too. Lisa turns three this year. WoOt..!

I don’t particularly adore my job – it’s the money that’s gotten he hooked. Job’s nothing great – just involves a bit of weeding and gardening, and if you’re remotely aware of what HR is all about, you’ll get what I mean. I love where I am in life, and though there are certain things I’m not proud of, I’ll save that for a later day. Check me out on FB too – just started exploring the social networking spheres.

The Bride of the Water God chapter 78 appeared in the November 15, 2009 issue of Wink Magazine. A lot of things happen in this chapter. So, if you really don’t want to know or think you want to wait until the climax hits, then don’t read this post.

The last chapter left us with Nakbin having wounded Habaek’s left eye with a dagger (he is in his adult form). She tells him not to look at ‘that woman’ (Soah) the same way he had looked upon her (Nakbin). She has an angry look on her face when saying that. He’s just looking at her somewhat ..calmly? with his good eye and holding his left hand to his wounded left eye. Then she takes a hold of his sleeves/arms with her hands (facing him) and says, “It’s all because of you. You made me like this.” (he has a “…” expression now) She continues, “The sole reason for me wanting to continue living despite this wretched state is you.” Then she starts shrugging off her wrap/shawl-like thing from her shoulders (she has a sleeveless dress on) and says, “I’ll leave you alone now.” There’s a “!!” bubble from .. I guess it’s Habaek.. indicating surprise because on each of her arms you see a [magical] tattoo of a dragon with a symbol above it. She says, “Living by means of sorcery such as this is tedious. So, leave my body immediately.” The emperor interjects, “Nakbin, if you expel the dragon from your body, you know very well what will happen next, right? It does not matter to you that Habaek will see that unsightly form?” Nakbin says, “I’m already ugly enough, so it is fine.” Then you see some aura/light/energy being given off of her. The symbol on her arms start to fade and she starts to fall with the dragon tattoos gone from her arms. Habaek cries out, “Nakbin!?” and catches her falling body. She tells him, “I was waiting for you to let me go, first, but…. you couldn’t, after all.. even knowing my body is already dead. Nevertheless, I’ll forgive you for setting your eyes on something else.” At this point her cheek seems to have gashes in them. “Good bye, Habaek.” She reaches her hand out to touch his face and then… her body completely deteriorates into hair and a skeleton. Habaek is saying in his head (not aloud), “I am sorry, Nakbin… because I couldn’t let go of you faster… it seems I want to hold you even while you look like this… I beg you to forgive my… greed… and my egotistical mind…” Then her body fades away (looks like some leaves flying away now). He stands and looks at his bloody hands and gets up. He asks the emperor, “So, what else do you have left to hold me here? Soah is already in a place beyond your reach.” The emperor starts chuckling. “Seems like you have gotten over the shock of losing Nakbin rather easily. Is it because it was for the second time? Or is it because of that girl. I had thought she didn’t mean anything, but actually she meant everything to you. That’s right, as you said, she’s in a place beyond my reach. That is true.” If you had forgotten, Soah has been there the whole time in her spirit-form. She’s now “thinking” to herself, “Mui — this has happened because of me.” (She has a very sorrowful and apologetic expression on her ghostly/spiritual face) She continues ‘thinking’, “Because I did not believe you, this has happened. I am sorry, Mui…” (she is reaching for him ..despite her spiritual form) “From now on, I’ll believe you, no matter what happens.” She has her spiritual-form hands cupping his face now. “until you come to get me” Her spiritual lips are right about to touch his lips now. Then… her spiritual form isn’t there in the next panel. He says (out loud), “Soah…?” On the next page, his mother barges in (with a very quick introduction by one of the emperor’s attendants). Wang Mo sees him and says, “Mui…?” He says/thinks, “Mother…” She is understandably pretty upset at seeing him bloodied and wounded. She asks the emperor what in the world had happened and if he had forgotten the agreement and if he is thinking to not uphold the agreement any longer, then she won’t be holding back, either. The emperor tells her that he was not the cause of Habaek’s wound and their agreement is still valid and Habaek can leave any time he wishes. Wang Mo (Habaek’s mother) says, “Then, let us fulfill/follow through with/execute the agreement immedaitely.” The emperor says all right. The emperor is thinking to himself, “Rather than have both Suh Wang Mo and Habaek as enemies, this way will be more beneficial.” He says out loud, “Let us follow what was said in the promise between us.” He is thinking, “Since I will have some other opportunity to exploit Habaek’s weakness once I discover it.” Next panel has just Habaek and his mom standing on one of the imperial bridges.  She asks him (in formal language), why is he being so childish when he could have avoided it all. She asks him to forget about that child, Nakbin, from now on, and that this had been that child’s fate from the beginning. He apparently had his eye bandaged up (as in those cloth bandages, not those plastic sticky ones from our modern era). He asks, “Mother, what promise did you make with the emperor?” She tells him he does not need to know of that. And that before the emperor changes his mind, he [Habaek] should leave this place. He tells her she should go with him. She says she has something to do here still, so to go by himself. And … also.. not to wait for her. She does not know how much longer she will be. And where does he plan on going? Is he going back to the water country? Next panel shows him flying on a dragon and her watching him leave. She closes her eyes in a sorrowful expression.  Okay, the next thing he says is kinda strange.. because he calls Soah a coward. The background for the panel is a flashback to just a moment ago when Soah’s spiritual lips were close to kissing his lips. He is thinking to himself in this panel, “Since that [cowardly] girl risked danger to come meet me, this time I should be the one to go to her. Just wait a bit longer, since I’m coming to get you.” (just shows him flying off to the moon on the dragon) I guess there’s not really a “light” adjective that conveys the concept of cowardice without that negative connotation associated with it in English. I could put “scaredy-cat” but that is so…childish. The “To be continued” part says, “Habaek, hurry~!” End of chapter.

A fleeting glance here. A quick wink there. Yes. You just had a quickie. An eye-fuck quickie.

As zoologists, we have a fascination with eye-fucking. And apparently, so do the animals. However, there is a right and wrong way to eye-fuck. To start, you never, ever initiate hard-core contact when first beginning an eye-fuck tete-a-tete. When you see a potential eye-fuck buddy, start off with a few sideways glances. Keep the glances to a minimum to start with, so that the target does not become sketched out. If you can sense that the target is looking your way, and you’re feeling a little naughty, catch the target’s eye, while maintaining a slightly dirty mind-set so that the look is sexy as hell. Make the eye lock brief. This will leave the target engaged and wanting more. When you, or the target, exits the area, I suggest using the hard-to-get method and not make any eye contact. This will make the target believe that they are on the chase.

Now, the next time you see the target you can initiate eye-fucking. You have managed to draw the target into the chase, so he will be more likely to glance your way on more than one occasion. To tempt the target, and to get his gears grinding, you may want to start with a look from under your eyelashes. This is a very cheeky move that will leave a little something for the target’s imagination. After the first glance, instead of brief and indirect glances, you can let your eye locks linger.

You will now be able to successfully entice your target. He can now be your eye-fuck buddy. Here are some moves to try out. Eye Brow Movement: Eye brow movement is comparable to the pelvic thrust. By adding a little brow movement, you manage to send many sexual signals to your eye-fuck buddy. By raising one eye brow you are asking a suggestive question. This is like saying, “Should I get out the lube?” or “Wanna get naked?” By raising both eye-brows twice, in a quick succession you are making a sly statement, such as “I know what’s under those worn in jeans” or “I can do nasty, awful things to you.” The Wink: If your feeling really bold and randy you can try a wink. I would suggest practicing this first. This is an advanced move that must first be perfected. Many people have trouble winking. When they attempt to wink they focus all there attention on only closing one eye and forget what the rest of their face looks like. So practice in a mirror first. Then you can practice on some dweeby boys that don’t stand a chance with you.
