Glycerine is a close relative of Glucose, otherwise known as sugar.

Used as a humectant in the manufacturing of cosmetics, sweetening and preserving food, and in medicine for suppositories and skin emollients

Some companies use Glycerine in lubricants, and ladies that means you may get a yeast infection. Women who are prone to yeast infections should stay away from lubricants that have Glycerine in it.

Well lucky for us ladies more companies are slowly taking this ingredient out.. it will say on the bottle Glycerine Free.

A few good lubricants out on the market that work well. From pink water to intimate organics just to name a few.
