Yesterday the National Trust’s Dartmoor Team held its Start of Season meeting. We had around 80 staff and volunteers attend – a great turn out. The idea of the meeting is to get everyone together before the main ‘season’ begins to celebrate our achievements during 2013 and get everyone geared up for the priorities in 2014. 298 more words
Woodland Trust appeals for further donations
Visitors to Fingle Woods in the Dartmoor National Park in Devon are now able to explore 45km (27 miles) of newly reopened footpaths through the 825 acre site – the size of around 460 football pitches – thanks to the Woodland Trust and National Trust. 405 more words
