Nothing like a long walk in the woods with the dogs. Monkey made herself right at home in the little stream. Homie preferred to jump it.

Tiger Woods, billionaire golf master – to even say that is an attocity, got into a car accident near his home at 2:25am this morning but he is not seriously injured. Seems that Woosey Woods could not get out of his monstrosity of a vehicle and his “wife” had to use one of his golf clubs to smash the back window and pull him out.

So – now we know that Elin wears the pants in that family and it must be true that Swedish girls can impregnant themselves several times??? LOFLMAO – what a proofta. No alcohol was found but he had all the classic symptoms of a cheating spouse who was high on drugs. (My assessment)

Some of the relevant details are unclear but apparently Tiger Woods has been treated and released for a traffic incident.  Apparently he suffered facial abrasions for a single car accident.  Reports are that while Tiger hit a fire hydrant and a tree, the air bag in his Cadillac never deployed.

Why I like hiking…

Because of the solitude I feel in the woods. I love the fact that my thoughts, in the vastness of the woods are undisturbed. I feel I can finally finish thinking about something, or rather, about a lot of things! I don’t get that feeling when I am part of the civilized world.

Modern life is so filled with routines, responsibilities, schedules, and so many have to’s that I can rarely do any real thinking, or reflecting about anything. Noise of all sorts fill my mind, I feel I don’t give it a moment of peace and quiet until I am in the beautiful solitude of the woods.

Nobody will be around there; not a cell-phone with signal, not a computer, no mail, no TV, no radio, no newspapers, no roads, no stores, no cars, nothing but me and the trees, and the colors of the forest, and the animals that wander the land, and the trail that is ahead of me, and from time to time, another human being.

I like hiking because once I am the woods, I feel I am equal to the trees there. We are not the same species but were beings; alive! I feel we have equally important roles to fulfill in the universe. I am no better than them, neither they are than me.

Hiking is special when part of the journey is to summit a mountain. The physical activity combined with the challenge of summiting is a metaphor for life. Every step taken along the way you must focus on, just as when we set goals in life, or at work. And when the hiking gets treacherous, you must focus even more. Misstep for lack of attention, and you could get hurt.

Along your journey, your hike; you take breaks, and enjoy the surrounding beauty, or turn around and see what’s behind you, what you are accomplishing. See what you’ve hiked?

The best feeling is when you are finally at the top, and get to see the rewarding view. The fruit of your work! Things could certainly look different from above. Also, quickly you realize that the higher you go the less people there is. It does get lonely at the top! What is amazing it’s that once you reach the summit, no matter how hard the hike was; you quickly forget it after you see the views. A feeling of ‘Oh, it was completely worth it!’ inundates you….

Reports continue to circulate this afternoon that Tiger Woods was involved in a serious car accident early this morning near his Florida home.

The Florida State Highway Patrol said the crash is still under investigation, but charges are pending.

The Associated Press reports that CNBC sports business reporter Darren Rovell sent out a Twitter message about noon saying that Woods’ agent, Mark Steinberg says Woods “is fine.”

We’ll continue to hope for the best and that the latest Associated Press report, that Tiger is out of the woods, is correct. It’s amazing to watch on Twitter how fast this story has taken off.

UPDATE: CNN also reports that Tiger Woods was released from hospital and treated for facial lacerations.

The agent for Tiger Woods has told USA TODAY that the golf superstar is fine after crashing his vehicle near outside his Florida home early Friday.

Mark Steinberg, senior vice president of IMG, confirmed Woods was in an accident.

Earlier, Florida Highway Patrol reported Woods was transported to the hospital after hitting a fire hydrant near his residence in Windermere, Fla., outside Orlando.

Health Central Hospital in nearby Ocoee is expected to release a statement on Woods by 4 p.m. ET, according to a hospital operator.

The highway patrol reported Woods’ injuries as serious, though Woods spokesman, Glenn Greenspan, said Friday afternoon that the golfer was treated at the hospital and released in good condition. Greenspan’s statement termed the accident “minor.”

The police report narrative said the “driver had just pulled out of the driveway at his residence … as [vehicle] began to drive on Deacon Circle, [vehicle] struck a fire hydrant. The front of [vehicle] then struck a tree…”

The airbags in the car did not deploy, according to a report in the Orlando Sentinel. The newspaper said airbags typically do not deploy if a vehicle is traveling less than 33 miles per hour.

It was recently released that Tiger Woods has been involved in a serious wreck near his home in Ilseworth, Florida. The accident occurred at 2:30 AM ET. Woods was driving his 2009 Escalade SUV when he hit a fire hydrant and then a tree. It was stressed that alcohol did not play a role in the accident. No information has been released as to what injuries Tiger sustained, though he was rushed to the hospital from the accident. Also the cause of the accident is not known at this time. Rumors have been spread that Woods was being treated for facial lacerations. The world’s number one golfer recently ended his 2009 season with a win at the Australian Masters. More information will be provided when it is confirmed.

Tiger Woods‘ bad week just got way worse. According to a breaking report on ESPN.com, Woods was rushed to hospital in Orlando early this morning with serious injuries after a car accident near his house. Not too much at this point in the way of specifics, but definitely more to come as it develops.

*UPDATE*: According to a new article, Woods has been released from hospital after suffering facial lacerations.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Tiger Woods was seriously injured in a car accident early this morning.

No confirmation of any specific details that I have seen yet except for brief updates by CNN and ESPN. I saw on RotoWorld.com that Tiger Woods agent told CNBC that Woods was fine. We’ll have to keep watching and hope that Tiger is OK.

It is peaceful here. The canopy overhead is teaming with life, with natures creation and the only sounds to be heard are our footsteps as we walk and the birds and life present in these woods. We walk in silence, hand in hand and bodies touching, leaning into one another as if unable to stand being apart, unable to break contact for very long. We are miles from any cilvilsation and I am glad. Master knows where we are, I have not got a clue but that does not upset me at all, rather it comforts me that I am able to just ‘be’ instead of constantly thinking and planning and automatically deciding on the vast array of banal details that make up life. I get to walk here instead, in the middle of nowhere with my Master and hearts home. I get to just ‘be’, to feel the grass beneath my feet, still damp as we walk to the stream and although it is early and the earth has not warmed I am not cold, just happy as we walk in silence. I watched him dress this morning, pulling his jeans and tee on, his socks and then boots. Noone was about and no one would be so I remained as I was, naked with only a small silver band circling my neck. Now as we walk I can feel the air caress my skin and I am enjoying this freedom.

After such a fun time on weekend 1 on the set of Karolyn Szot’s Message Received, I was stoked to return for another dose of movie making magic. On the agenda for the second weekend? Blood! Car Crash! Cops! Uh, exchange students!

I was lucky to get a couple of hours off Saturday morning as only a bare bones crew was needed to shoot our two actresses, Emily Marso and Blake-Briana McKay, driving. Just a couple of shots and a simple scene. Easy as pie, right? Well…

Sign reads "Movie Set! Not Real!". What we mean: please don't call the cops on us again.

The story I heard when I arrived on set? A very concerned passerby had called the cops that morning thinking that the two wrecked cars we had on set was the scene of a real accident. Oh well, at least that means a big thumbs up for prod design well-done.

Karolyn gave herself multiple cuts and bruises before putting some on Johnny.

Another challenge that filming a car crash scene brings is the ridiculous number of people who deliberately slow down to get a better glimpse of your set as they’re driving by. Maybe it was to see if there was a famous actor in the vicinity. Maybe it was to get numbers to buy the American version of 4D. Maybe it was to gawk at the awesome blood effects Karolyn did for our actors. Either way, our crew definitely learned more about directing two-way traffic in one lane. It also helped that we had two actors in cop uniforms on set. I’m not sure what it was, but people tended to drive past faster when it’s a cop signaling them to move. Or so they thought!

When it was time to set up for our beautiful crane shot, it was all hands on deck. Like a life-sized balance scale, we had to figure out the exact number of sandbags to hang on one side to counter the weight of our camera on the other. It was almost like watching a team challenge on Survivor. “Take one more bag off,” one would say. “No, you just have to move one closer to the center!” another would reason. The team eventually emerged triumphant! And our crane shot went as smooth as silk.

Shooting outdoors often means racing against time, especially when you’re dependent on sunlight. Good thing our crew heads had their act together. We completed our shots with time to spare and made some new friends with the many deer roaming the woods near us. I’d say our day was a success!

On the 5th November, I had a fantastic time shooting a boudoir/portrait shoot for the lovely Rachael., in Leeds.  It was a rainy day, but we didn’t let that stop us using the gorgeous trees and leaves as a setting for the shoot.  Rach brought along some brilliant probs and accessories, including the fabulous pink fur coat, wellies and a fur rug! (don’t think I have photographed these items in one shoot before!)

Thankful for my daughter, Gabi.  Blessed each day to witness her becoming her unique self.  Picture above is her dancing as “Brave Fish,” during her kindergarten’s Pow Wow yesterday.  She is blessed with a real, connected teacher, who understands the power of creating a cooperative learning environment.   I am truly humbled by the grace that continues to guide our ascending love.

One of the things I got done last week was to create a series of product using my photo, Forest Sun Rays in the Snow #32. A snow covered branch creates an arch, with ferns hanging from its moss covered bark, across a tree lined path toward the summit of this hill in the woods of Rainier Oregon. Beyond the forest the sky shines crystal blue in the early morning light.
