This image practically made itself, but I still used some Topaz Adjust on it to make the detail pop a bit.  I got some great shots around this memorial, so I’d be surprised if this was the only shot I uploaded. Expect to see more of it soon.

In honor of Diamond’s decision to essentially shut down the entire comic book industry for this week, I’m going to skip today’s Everything But Imaginary column. Heh — actually, I’m just having too wonderful a time with Erin. Come back next Wednesday when I’ll announce my personal picks for the best in comics for 2009.

We’ve had a great visit so far. Yesterday, we intended to go to the Art of Disney exhibit at the New Orleans Museum of Art, but evidently it’s closed on Tuesdays. Did you know that? The nerve of some museums… anyway, we went to the World War II Museum instead. If you’ve never been, you need to go. It’s a remarkable place and an eye-opening experience. The courage, the steel, the resolve America had in the 40s… it’s humbling. And kind of sad, because I don’t see much of that today.

Tonight we’re going to do something else Erin has wanted to do for a while — take in a Hornets game. Sure, they haven’t been great this season, but that doesn’t mean going to the game still can’t be fun.

Heavy snow was falling a few days before Christmas when Jessica Smith brought in her mother Jody Wilson and grandparents to talk about their Christmas memories. Sam and Sue Gotter told stories from their childhood during the Depression and from Sam’s service during World War II in the South Pacific, when he was just a teenager. They remembered funny stories from their early married life, and poignant memories in their family history. I wanted to spend the rest of the holidays with this joyful family. I was going to blog about Boxing Day and after, but I have just watched The Pianist and I’m afraid I don’t feel lighthearted.  It is incredible to think we only have to scratch the surface of civilisation and all of that wickedness is bubbling beneath; and heroism, too.  It teaches me to be grateful for what I have and the time I am living in, imperfect as it is.

Well, it has been a very festive, holy, and thought-provoking Christmas. I’m grateful for the opportunity and ability to express these deep emotions that have been in me since childhood although haven’t had time, place, money, ideas for expression.

I’m totally grateful to have given a tribute to our beloved baby Caucasian Jesus and Mary his mother. (Sorry Joseph, but I guess in the Jews’ day, it was only the Jewish mother and children that counted, as even our Jewish men today live for them, just in case the child is the “Messiah” they have been waiting for.  Surely, 5,000 years from now, these “smart” Jews, will still be up to their superstitious pranks.  I do not think that our White society needs anymore of a Messiah than Jesus who taught us to “love God, our White neighbors, and to stop hating our White selves and putting Jews “above,” us  That is a slap in the face to God to have mere mortals, especially evil ones, walking around the globe, or flying, or screwing around the globe as “gods and goddesses.”

I’m getting ready for Elvis’ birthday and New Year’s.  I have 8 costumes ready, 4 each day. Today: Elvis.  Tomorrow, (which I will consider New Year’s Eve) I will do my 4 best songs and costumes of the past year as I look back on 2009 and look forward to 2010.)

In retrospect, 2009 has been better for me than the past years, although if I look there had been many other good things about Vegas, such as being able to sing with a rock band karaoke.  That truly was a life’s memory. 

But, 2009 found me writing and calling my senators and legislators.  What a bummer!  I never realized in my life that even though the “people” who are us and supposedly run the country, are not “listened” to by the gods and goddesses in Washington DC who listen only to Israeli Rabbi’s.  Every bill that I cared about was defeated.

While the Jews keep winning and winning and becoming “victorious” as King Midas with the Midas touch where everything the Jews touch turns into gold and as a result makes us wither and die to keep the Jews alive, it is disheartening to “not” be victorious.  My Daddy worked for Fr. Nelson Baker who is going to be canonized as a saint in the Catholic Church. Fr. Baker built a basillica to “Our Lady of Victory,” or Jesus’ Mother, Mary, being “victorious” not a loser.  It was copied after a church in France where all the cinder blocks had “healings” written on them. Perhaps, that is why today I’m interesting in “healing.”

So as I prepare my costumes, I won’t go into detail, except for Jailhouse Rock by Elvis. I think first of Ernst Zundel rotting away in a German prison for only 1 crime. Trying to “save” his White German people who insist on dying and becoming “martyrs” for Israel. Sounds far out? Elvis’ leading lady Dolores Hart who embraced Elvis’ metaphysics, left the USA, to go to a cloistered nunnery in “Israel” to spend the rest of her life “not talking” just doing prayers and good works and dedicate them to the “poor Jews in Israel.” Why hasn’t it dawned on her consciousness that it was the “poor White Polish people,” that were the true victims of whatever Holocaust there was and are still penniless. Not only penniless, but the Jews in Israel and around the world are trying to squeeze pennies out of the poverty stricken Poles. It should be the other way around. The Poles should demand 75% of all the $$$ collected for the Holocaust, (since we must think of math like the Jews do who are so good at it, INTEREST, COMPOUND INTEREST.)

The Purple Gang that I found is the Jewish Mafia.  Who would think that every song I do is somehow related to “Jewish causes.”

The Purple Gang was a mob of bootleggers and hijackers in the 1920s. Under the leadership of Abe Bernstein, the gang operated out of Detroit, Michigan, in the United States, which was a major port for running cached alcohol products across during Prohibition, since it is on the border with Canada.

You may not have time to read the entire article from jewwatch.com that I found on stormfront.org, but it is entitled “White Slavery” and the concept of the “Purple Gang” is mentioned there.  To abuse a White womans’ body and beat her is light years worse than a White man beating a black man to get him to work since his mother beat the black man in Africa.  Surely, the White men, were beyond patience, to think the Jews conned the White men out of big $$$ for black men that didn’t want to work. The White men were showing a “loss” after the kind White Southern men had to pay for the entire upkeep of all the black “workers” not “slaves.”  (As a Polish White slave my whole life it is an insult to me and my ancestry to compare our White Polish slavery and hard work to the Blacks who could barely pick a few buds of cotton.)

In the article, it talks of White slavery and prostition.  Remember this: In Hitler’s Germany THERE WAS NO PROSTITUTION OR BROTHELS.  The Jews, especially it seems through the Protestant Church came up with the sin of nudity and sex and breastfeeding.  (Didn’t know it was a sin to breastfeed but it seemed worse than that in 1973 when I  breastfed for over 3 years.)  The Jews think, “Hey even though sex is free, let’s make it taboo and then charge the White Gentiles for something they can get for free. We Jews will alter their consciousness through books, flyers, churches, schools, music, etc., and the Whites will be dumbed down enough to pay us money for it.  Hence we can become “millionaires” off the Whites. With that money we extracted from them, we can then send out Jewish children to Harvard for Harvard is too stupid to ask “Where did you get all this $$$ to send you children here when you don’t even have a real job.”  But then that is “Harvard” for you.  After all, if Harvard were “smart” and knowing that the entire forture of Harvard came from Whites for hundreds of years, they would have sought out my son Mikey with genius capability or my son, Paul, but they didn’t. The government is even more moronic and imbelic in that they went to cotton fields to get the “black” sons and put then in college:  Hence, Obama as the USA President.

Sex is from God and Nature. We must intelligently and spiritually define what our sexuality is.  Even the German White women would go into the prisons and dance on tables and strip “for free.”  I believe in every marriage, the women should be “seductresses” and “temptresses.”  Sex should be an “art” and not the Jewish animal sex that we have. Remember: Jews think we are “animals” hence “animal sex” is all we get or deserve.  My sexuality is much higher than that and until I meet someone on my level, I won’t have it.  I’m not a White Slave. I was in Poland for the Jews and many of my Polish White sisters had to have 75+ Jews a day to give $$$$ to her rich Jewish Pimp, I’m not that White slave anymore. Someday, the Jewish woman will be a slave and not for sex, since WHITES SHOULD NOT HAVE SEX WITH ANY OTHER RACE!

Did the White Southern Men “murder” their slaves as the Jewish masters of these White girls.  The White girls didn’t do anything wrong. From what I understand, during the Confederacy, the Blacks were not murdered. “If” they were hung, (as the Jews provoking the hanging and lynching of Saddam Hussein who “had no weapons of mass destruction, but was accused of)…. if they were “Hung” they commit a crime.  And we had “LAW AND ORDER” THEN.  WE HAVE WORSE THAN A ZOO IN AMERICA NOW it is so infiltrated with crime.  Just compare the crime statistics of the South in the Confederacy and the crime of Blacks on Whites today.  It would make an interesting study. And “this” is the kind of TV we Whites should have. Then TV would be worth watching again.  WHITE TV~

Perhaps the Jews also didn’t want to work and had to be beaten just like the blacks didn’t want to work.  If the Egyptians are not mad about this, it would surprise me.  When a person has a job in the USA and the company appoints a manager.  The Manager has certain expectations of an employee.  And if an employee doesn’t want to work and just sits there or complains or works too slowly and pretend to shuffle papers to “act busy,” the Manager is not allowed to “hit” employees, but, the Manager will use “words” on the employee or fire him.  But in the case of Moses’ Jewish brother-like worker, the Egyptian had to “beat” the Jew to move a few blocks.  Why didn’t the Jews go back to Jerusalem. I don’t know my years in the Bible, but it seems that the Jews went there to find “work” and “food,” during a famine, and the Jews might have become “extinct,” as we will be in 100 years, if they didn’t have food and work.  The Jews walk around as if they are “gods and goddesses” and not with that bowing down servitude and humility that I and my Polish brethren have.

So perhaps the Egyptian bosses were mad and rightfully so. But, in today’s society,  would one “kill” their boss and bury them underground?  Even today, we are not that bad as a White society that “civilized’ and “tamed” the other races to a higher level of morality.  (if you find a story like this in the news in the next month or so, we know the Jews did it to fill their newspapers. )

One of the most important things we need to define is our White sexuality. And that it should be only a small part of it. White men are turning to porn, pedophylia, homosexuality, because the Jews have been our “Slavedrivers,” and have distorted and twisted what sexuality should be like. I do not claim to have the answers, but I know, that what we have today is “fear” of sexuality instead of Love.  Also, the Jews, (Gloria Steinem and her Jewish gang of women, ruthless and heartless) drove our women to work for Jewish bosses and slavedrivers. A little girl born today is nothing more than an object for “business.”  And in many cases has to give her boss sex rather than her husband. She has to work for $400,000.00 houses. And if the price of houses have come down, my writings were at the helm of exposing this disparity many years ago. 

Why would anyone want to have a White baby to be a White slave? And as we degenerate further, it will get worse for the Jews, Yellows are getting smarter and have all the organization in place to grow while we wither and die.  There is no reason that we cannot be the smartest.  We have been intentionally drugged and dumbed down by the Jews with no resistance whatsoever.

My costume has the #6240 and the White sewing down the legs. I try to look like a woman and it is a “tribute” to a White Southern Man that I do. If the public doesn’t get it, Elvis surely does, and I believe God also approves of giving tribute to a man that has prayed so diligently to Him. Elvis’ Search for God was hampered by his Jewish hairdress, Larry Geller, his spiritual mentor who was probably trying to get Elvis to go to the monkery in Israel and leave all his $$$ to the Jews. As it is today, the Jews “own” Elvis Enterprises as they bought it from Lisa and Priscilla.  “That” $$$ should be used in resurrecting the White male’s in Elvis’ name, for if Elvis knew, he surely would approve.

When I think of jails, I think of poor innocent Ernst Zundel who tried to save the White German race.  In that jewwatch.com article, even the author was horrified that even after the Jews declaring war against Germany in 1937 and not only winning against the Nazis who wanted to “save” not “enslave” the White male in many ways, but the Jews knocked out the KKK and won the war against both.  We were “kind” to the Jews. The Chinese yellows may not be so kind for they have no God, hence no concience or soul just like their masters the Jews.

I too might have to go to jail for trying to “save” and “restore,” my poor White Polish people.  I can totally understand their fear of the Jews. I mean who could take 900 years of the Jews?

Ernst Zundel has an entire website, but it is on my old computer. There are about 50+ of them, and many are in several parts. If you can find them all, you would do yourself a favor to watch them also.

I was singing in church, and there was an old Germanic hymn and the writer’s name was “Zundel.”  Surely a relative of Ernst Zundel.

Ivan Shuba is my Grand grandfather. I want to write about him because of his heroic life, which I have heard about from my Grandmother (his daughter). He died not so long ago so I remember him well. When I looked at him he seemed very strong and confident, which evoked good feelings in me. Grand granddad Ivan was and is a good example of the real man as we all are supposed to be. I knew him and visited several times, but I was just a kid and that is why we never spoke to each other like adult to adult. Ivan was a short-spoken person and did not like to talk a lot. He took a part in two World Wars and managed to stay alive. 

My Grandmother told me a lot about him and his heroic life. She told me about him during the First World War when he was a little boy helping his family in the garden to provide food for the army. During World War II when he was seriously injured he continued to fight. He was the Senior Sergeant and drove a car in the Second World War.  

He was born in 1909 in Ust-Kamenogorsk city, East Kazakhstan, and spent all his life there except for a war time. I do not know any details about his childhood but my Grandmother told me that he had a general secondary education and took special driving course. After the war he was working as a driver for all his life. He was able to drive all types of the vehicles (including trucks and passenger busses) and was considered to be a high professional.  

It is because of his and his comrades’ efforts we live in this world now as a free society in the peaceful independent country. I hope that all modern young people can stand against the enemy and defend their country when it is necessary but we all prefer to live in peace and prosperity and respect others countries and peoples.  

Conclusion: Remember your relatives, love them, respect what they have done, do not repeat they mistakes and try not to judge them.

Memorial “pavers” to go on sale

They’ve already raised over $25,000 from voluntary donations and the sale of t-shirts and sweatshirts. Now, the World War II Memorial Committee is about to embark on a major fundraising effort that they hope will bring them much closer to their goal of $200,000 – the amount that they estimate will be needed to replace the crumbling wooden memorial on the upper common with a new, granite monument honoring the citizens of Wakefield, Massachusetts who served during the Second World War.

The Committee will soon be selling granite “pavers” that will form a “Walk of Remembrance” around the new World War II Memorial, which the Committee hopes to have built by Memorial Day, 2011. Over the next month, local residents will be receiving a flyer in their Gas & Light bills with information and an order form for requesting a paver to honor a veteran. The forms will also be available at Town Hall, the library and the Senior Center. A complete packet of information will be provided once the paver order, with deposit, has been received.

A total of 520 individual granite pavers will be available to all who wish to make a contribution of $300 or $500 per paver. The pavers will be available in two sizes: 12-inch x 12-inch pavers may be purchased for $500, and 6-inch x 12-inch pavers will be $300. Each paver will be inscribed with the name, rank and branch of service of the family member or friend whose service is being recognized. The placement of the pavers will be determined in the order in which final payment is received.

Phyllis Hull, Chairman of the World War II Memorial Committee, stresses that the pavers for the “Walk of Remembrance” are not limited to World War II veterans. Pavers may be purchased to honor anyone who has served, or is currently serving, in the Armed Forces of the United States.

Dick Pearson serves on the paver subcommittee and says that committee members John Encarnacao and James Murphy deserve the lion’s share of the credit. “John and Jim have done a great job on the pavers,” Pearson says. “That’s going to be our number one fundraiser.”

Hull has been thrilled with the community’s reception to the committee’s fundraising efforts to date. “Businesses have been so cooperative,” she says, noting that The Savings Bank, the Lord Wakefield and Caporale’s Liquors have allowed the committee to sell t-shirts and sweatshirts on their premises. Tedeschi’s volunteered to put out a canister for donations. Chuck Geier of Chuck Wagon Diner has been selling wall advertisements in exchange for donations to the new memorial, Hull says, and Rich Manzi of the Sign Shop has provided shirts and silk-screening at cost.

The Crystal Community Club and the Council of Clubs have embarked on their own drives to assist with the fundraising effort. Hull notes that a fundraising cribbage tournament will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the West Side Social Club featuring prizes from local merchants and proceeds going to the World War II Memorial Fund.

The present wooden World War II Memorial on the Upper Common was originally dedicated on May 30, 1944. After a renovation, the monument was rededicated on May 30, 1985. But over the years, the old Memorial has fallen into serious disrepair.

The movement to replace the old monument began in late 2007, when numerous veterans and veterans’ organizations petitioned the Board of Selectmen to authorize a committee to oversee the replacement of the existing memorial with a new granite monument on the same site. The committee worked to create a design and has finalized plans for the new granite memorial to honor all 2,466 Wakefield residents who served in the Armed Forces of the United States during World War II.

The new granite monument will feature a Memorial Wall of Honor – five granite monument tablets with five bronze plaques mounted on the tablets. The center bronze plaque will display the names of the 71 Wakefield citizens who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country in World War II. The other four plaques will display the names of the 2,395 other Wakefield men and women who served their country during World War II.

The committee would like to hear from anyone who knows of World War II veterans still living whose names are on the old memorial in order to make them aware of the efforts underway to create a new memorial in their honor.

The World War II Committee sees the effort to build a new monument as “a symbol of the community’s appreciation for the sacrifices that Wakefield residents have made to protect and preserve our freedom.” The committee hopes that the new memorial will also provide educational opportunities for all to learn about and recognize the sacrifices of veterans.

The flyers and order forms for the pavers are going out over the next several weeks in the MGLD bills and will have all of the information on sending in a deposit toward a memorial paver. Anyone who still has a question may call Jim Murphy at 781-246-5320.

I very much enjoyed this story. I was excited to read it, because it is very much a book I can recommend to guys. I tend to definitly read in a feminine vain, so trying to recommend to men can be difficult. City of Thieves is the story of two unlikely friends who live in Leningrad during the seige by the Nazis. They are forced to go in search of a dozen eggs in a city that has virtually no food left. The story is blunt and dark and humorous. Despite being outside my comfort zone, it was excellent!

Lots of Americans may not know that human trafficking exists in the Twenty-First Century, much less in their hometowns and where they work.  The Kansas City Star has a fine article on the subject entitled, “U.S. system to find, help victims of trafficking is broken,” which everyone should read.  It is an eye-opener; however, it merely touches on one of the greatest tragedies in the world today, which must be dealt with and eradicated.

In comments following the article, I wrote:

This is a terrific article; and its authors, Mike McGraw and Laura Bauer, are to be congratulated on such fine reporting.  Seldom have I seen an excellent piece of investigative reporting about this subject of such importance.

Years ago I read an article about a Korean girl who began as a “comfort woman” for the Japanese military during World War II.  She and other women traveled with the military, and were forced to provide non-stop sex to Japanese soldiers.  Toward the end of the war, somehow she escaped and made her way back to Korea where her family disowned her because of the shame that she had caused them.  She married, to an abusive husband, and finally left that marriage and found happiness with another Korean man.

Also, I read an article about a woman in the former Yugoslavia who was caught up in the fighting there, and lost both her husband and son, and ended up in a refugee camp.  There, she and other women were told about opportunities to become secretaries across the Adriatic in Bari, Italy where I have been years ago.  When she arrived, she and the other women were forced into prostitution.  Only when the Italian police raided the house where she was enslaved did she escape.

There are approximately 50,000 human slaves in the U.S., and more than a million worldwide.  It is so tragic, yet little or nothing is being done about it, which is why this article is so important.

I brought the issue to the attention of someone who is very close to President Obama’s two top campaign chiefs, and never heard back from him on the subject.

I include my comments here, not because they contain great wisdom, but because it is the easiest means of highlighting an issue of enormous importance.  Every year we read about lots of cases here in the U.S., where children are kidnapped and never found again.  Clearly, the case of Jaycee Lee Dugard, an 11-year-old girl who was kidnapped from South Lake Tahoe in 1991, and who was found alive recently, riveted national attention.  She was kept as a sex slave[2]; however, her story is not unique.  There are lots of women like her in the United States and elsewhere in the world today.  Men are victims as well, as Mike McGraw and Laura Bauer have discussed in their article.

Too often when we hear of such stories, we think that it could never touch our lives or the lives of our loved ones or friends.  Tragically, that is what Jaycee Lee Dugard’s family thought; and the same was true of the family of Elizabeth Smart whose kidnapping occurred on June 5, 2002, when she was abducted from her Salt Lake City, Utah bedroom at the age of 14.  She was found nine months later, after having been held as a sex slave too.[3]

While there are issues galore facing Americans today (e.g., the economy, national security, wars), human trafficking cannot be one that is shunted aside and forgotten.  It is too important.

Martin Conway goes to a private prep school in New Jersey, which he hates, when his grandmother dies, leaving him an old radio his grandfather had when he worked in the Amerian Embassy in London in World War II.  This is a story of three times – 2019, when Martin is telling this story from the Embassy in London, 2003, when he is a student in New Jersey, and 1940, during the London Blitz.  Before Martin’s grandmother died, she kept talking about a young boy named Jimmy, and one night when Martin falls asleep by the radio, he meets Jimmy, who is a young boy in 1940.  Present day readers may know how the war turns out, but for some, part of the interest is in learning about the people the history books and encyclopedias don’t mention, like the firefighters, and the civil servants, and the secretaries, and the evacuees.

London Calling is an intriguing work of fiction, and readers will be asking themselves, when the time comes, what can I do to help?

They really go nuts at around 1: 50, when the bearded guy asks everyone to join him in a minute of silence for the 14,000,000 Germans who were ethnically cleansed from their homelands (Poland, Sudetenland, Yugoslavia, Hungary, etc) in 1945 and 1946, and the 2,000,000 who died.

What I am about to tell you is something you’ve probably never heard, nor will ever read in history books.

At the same time that President Obama announced the deployment of an additional 30,000 American troops to Afghanistan, he said the U.S. would begin pulling out by July of 2011—just before his reelection campaign begins in earnest, and only one year after our forces will have been deployed fully.  It is a political decision, and tantamount to conceding the country to our enemies sometime that year.  The president’s decisions are not surprising because he is an anti-war politician who never served in the U.S. military, and he knows nothing about running a war.  His plans are designed to appease his political soul mates and constituency, America’s anti-war far-Left.

His “dithering” for months now has undermined the support of our allies, and sent a clear signal to our enemies that he is weak and indecisive, and America is too.  The halfway measures of his new Afghan policies will not satisfy the American political Left or Right, our allies or the Afghan people—whose suffering will continue.  However, the president will have pleased our enemies, especially when he is focused on an “exit strategy” instead of winning.  It is disturbing to watch him pathetically try to micro-manage the war in Afghanistan from the White House.[2] Indeed, it smacks of Lyndon Johnson’s tragic handling of the Vietnam War that resulted in the senseless deaths of more than 58,000 Americans, and more than 150,000 who were wounded[3]; and the end of his presidency.

We began in Afghanistan militarily shortly after 9/11, and were successful in taking over the country and ousting the Taliban.  The poppy crops should have been eradicated then, so the worldwide supply of heroin would have been reduced dramatically.  The Associated Press reported on November 23, 2009: “The poppy crop in Afghanistan, which produces 90 percent of the world’s supply of opium, is linked to corruption, addiction and a drug trade that bankrolls the Taliban insurgency.”  Opium poppies are the raw ingredient in making heroin.

We should not have turned our attention to Iraq until Afghanistan was stabilized fully.  Because we directed our resources to Iraq, Afghanistan was allowed to “languish” and the Taliban were permitted to regain traction.  We have made great strides in helping the long-suffering women of Afghanistan, and that must not cease or be neglected.  Afghanistan is important to us strategically as well, because the Taliban “straddle” both Afghanistan and Pakistan; and if Afghanistan falls, Pakistan might descend into unfathomable chaos, with its nuclear arsenal falling into the hands of our enemies.

President Obama is a far-Left neophyte who is in the process of presiding over a failed presidency, which is likely to get worse with the passage of time.  General David Petraeus and other leaders in our military chain of command have endorsed General Stanley McChrystal’s requests for more troops, which according to reports involve far more than 40,000.  The president should let the military handle Afghanistan, and allow General McChrystal to do his job.

Obama has not been successful at running anything, ever; and it is unlikely that Afghanistan will be an exception.  At best he is a failed “community organizer” from Chicago, who was raised in Hawaii and Indonesia.  Just read his book, “Dreams from My Father”—which is a real eye opener—if you have any doubts.[4] His beliefs are premised on naïveté and defeat, as well as the notion that the U.S. cannot send additional troops without a plan for getting them out.  For example, the Washington Post quotes White House officials as stating: “[Obama’s] desired end state in Afghanistan envisions more informal local security arrangements than in Iraq, a less-capable national government and a greater tolerance of insurgent violence.”[5]

This is a prescription for defeat, and it sends precisely the wrong message to our enemies, who will simply wait for Obama to get weaker and for America to leave Afghanistan.  It will result in the shedding of American blood and that of our allies for nothing, like Vietnam.  Former Vice President Dick Cheney is correct when he says that the average Afghan citizen “sees talk about exit strategies and how soon we can get out, instead of talk about how we win.  Those folks . . . begin to look for ways to accommodate their enemies.  They’re worried the United States isn’t going to be there much longer and the bad guys are.”

President Obama is correct that the people of Afghanistan have endured violence for decades, which makes his exit strategy of one year after deployment so unrealistic.  A year passes in the flash of an eye; and it is not long enough to make a difference in Afghanistan.  Just imagine Franklin Delano Roosevelt saying that he would not commit U.S. troops to the war against Hitler in Europe, or the war against Japan in the Pacific, unless he had an exit strategy in place and operating one year after they were deployed.  Thank God that Obama was not in charge of the D-Day invasion of Europe, or other decision-making in World War II.  Hitler would have won, and Europe (including the UK) would be speaking German.

More and more Americans are realizing that Obama is a mistake, even though he is personable, intelligent and certainly a fine speaker.  The highly-respected Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll—for December 24, 2009—shows that 43 percent of U.S. voters Strongly Disapprove of the way Obama is performing his role as president, while 27 percent Strongly Approve, giving him a negative Presidential Approval Index rating of -16.[6] That speaks volumes about where Obama and America are heading.

The president’s Afghan policies are doomed from the start because he is not sending enough troops to succeed; he has set an unrealistic exit date; Al Qaeda and the Taliban will be active and aggressive in Afghanistan long after Obama exits politics; he will not be able to hold even his own party together with respect to this issue; and like Vietnam for Lyndon Johnson, Afghanistan may prove to be Obama’s political undoing—apart from the economy, ObamaCare, national security and other vital issues.  Since when does an anti-war far-Left community organizer know how to run a war, much less successfully?
