<p>This morning bean Painted one of my melamine cups with nail polish&#8230; (luckily it was natural stuff so I think I can get it off) So I sat her down with her water colours and some paper.</p>
<p><a href="http://burlesquemama.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/20120506-153338.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full" src="http://burlesquemama.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/20120506-153338.jpg" alt="20120506-153338.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>She&#8217;s not painting for more than a minute when she tells me &#8220;mama I need a fluffy hat.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;What do you mean a fluffy hat?&#8221; I inquire.</p>
<p>&#8220;The fluffy hat you wear when you make music.&#8221; It&#8217;s true I do put on a beret when I rock out to records on my bongos. So I was super proud and excited that she wanted to wear a beret while she painted. The mark of a serious artist! Or shall I say artiste!</p>
<p><a href="http://burlesquemama.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/20120506-153419.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full" src="http://burlesquemama.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/20120506-153419.jpg" alt="20120506-153419.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://burlesquemama.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/20120506-153547.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full" src="http://burlesquemama.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/20120506-153547.jpg" alt="20120506-153547.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>She then started poking the dinosaurs with a needle&#8230;&#8230;..</p>
<p><a href="http://burlesquemama.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/20120506-153701.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full" src="http://burlesquemama.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/20120506-153701.jpg" alt="20120506-153701.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>I believe this represents her inner turmoil.</p>
<p><a href="http://burlesquemama.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/20120506-153710.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full" src="http://burlesquemama.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/20120506-153710.jpg" alt="20120506-153710.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>She hung up her art on the fridge I like the juxtaposition of the magnets.</p>
<p><a href="http://burlesquemama.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/20120506-153719.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full" src="http://burlesquemama.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/20120506-153719.jpg" alt="20120506-153719.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>mixed media: dinosaur stickers, water colours on medium weight drawing paper.</p>
