Las extensiones para nuestros portales elaborados bajo WordPress no hay duda que los plugins son aquellas pequeñas cositas –que no nos cuenta ningún trabajo- que mejoran sin lugar a dudas nuestro blog tanto en apariencia como funcionamiento e incluso en el rendimiento.

Es por eso, que bajo mi experiencia y basándome en un blog que tiene algunas características muy comunes, dejo a disposición un listado de plugins para la mejora de tu web.

WP Super Cache

Este plugin genera archivos HTML estáticos de tu blog de WordPress dinámico. Después de un archivo HTML se genera el servidor web que servirá de archivo en lugar de procesar los relativamente más pesados. Sencillamente aumentará la carga de tu web en un nivel muy notable.

Akismet

Este quizás tendría que ir primero que Super Cache. Es el plugins que muchos servidores de host traen por predeterminado. Este maravilloso compañero, vivirá en tu WordPress y se hará cargo de los comentarios SPAM que inundan en la Internet. No deja uno vivo.

SEO

El mejor amigo para que tu web aparesca siempre en los resultados de los principales buscadores. Este plugins genera  META tags como lo son las palabras claves entre otros. Es muy configurable.

Muchos lo consideran inapropiado. Puesto que argumentan que para ello están los lectores. Pero lo que no parecen entender es que, no todos están familiarizados con los lectores RSS. Incluso, me atrevo a decir, que de 10 usuario, solo 3 utiliza Feedburnero ó algún sistema que preste el mismo servicio.

Subscribe2 lo que hace es notificarle a tus usuarios por medio de correo electrónico cuando tu publiques alguna entrada en tu blog. Los usuarios se registran únicamente dejando su dirección electrónica en un box que puedes ubicar en cualquier entrada, en una página e incluso en un Widget.

WP Paginate

Este censillo pero practico plugin, nos permite paginar y cambiar el aburrido (ß Entrada anterior     Entrada sigente à) por un paginador (1 – 2 – 3 – 4 … última). Se adapta para el directorio de entrdas, tags e incluso para el listado del buscador.

Paginate Comments

Esta herramienta es elaborada especialmente para aquellos sitios que presentan muchos comentarios en todas sus entradas.

Puedes configurarla para que muestre 10 por página, o el numero que quieras.

Plugins miles, importante cientos, indispensables estos!

Je suis un mouton de Panurge, c’est un fait établi. Il y a toujours eu dans mon existence et dans ma manière de la mener, des signes avant coureurs qui laissaient déjà supposer ce que j’avance. J’ai été de toutes les modes. J’ai surfé sur toutes les vagues, qu’elles soient assez puissantes pour remuer le quintal de ta tante Yvonne, ou non. Aujourd’hui, je m’élance vers les flots tumultueux du podcast vidéo, comme les autres. Certains avant moi s’y sont risqués avec plus ou moins de réussite. Je pense ici à Monsieur Dream… et à Mister Pingouin (normalement, celui-là ne doit rien te dire, même si ça mérite un petit lol de feu et de sang d’orignal domestique).

Alors, c’est à mon tour de me lancer, à ma manière et sans filets… comme à mon habitude quoi ! ;)

Selanjutnya tinggal Create a New Badge dan ikuti langkah2 nya. Save Badge kamu. Setelah itu, kamu akan diberikan script yang akan ditempel di sidebar.

Matt Mullenweg is the main driving force being WP and he just posted a rewrite on an article that was recently published in Inc. Magazine. The reason for this is that all of The Way I Work articles are written in the 1st person, even if Matt didn’t write his. His version is annotated and includes lots of links. I found it inspiring.

So I wonder if you noticed something new in our sidebar? You should have!

So a while back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth I joined socialvibe and thought hey lets put my badge on wordpress too! So I tried several times to put it up and emailed wordpress and they just said it contained flash and I couldn’t use it. But now they have a socialvibe widget! All my socialvibe problems are solved!

So what is socialvibe anyway? Socialvibe is a website, which you can sign upon, that lets you get a sponsor and earn points for your charity by posting your badge on social network websites, then the points turn into donations. It’s not that hard and once you earn 2000points (or refer 5 people ) you get the pink ball. I’ve already earned mine (:

So what charity did we chose?

The Whaleman Foundation helps dolphins, whales, and porpoises, protects their environment, performs long-term field research, and raises awareness for all issues affect these beautiful animals. We chose them because who doesn’t want to save the whales and well…there wasn’t a charity for chipmunks on the list.  You can definitely help us to help the Whaleman Foundation by clicking help now and rating the video that’s there. Once you’re there put your name and message, if you have nothing to say guess what song lyrics on our badge!

I like WordPress.  I really like the Kubrick theme but I don’t like that I can’t make the side bar show up on every individual post.  If readers follow links to specific posts, these looked sort of orphaned and out of context without a sidebar to sort of situate things.

K-2 is a variation of Kubrick that takes care of this, but I can’t seem to figure out how to change the width or margin of posts…right right they’re running too close to my sidebar content.   It also seems like there’s too much white space between my posts vertically.  Any suggestions?

• Suele pasar que la frescura del Air de adobe llegue a todas partes (hasta linux), ahora es la moda y “une” a los sistemas de microblogging, Posty le llaman, el nos muestra a Twiitter, Jaiku, Pownce, Tumblr y Friendfeed desde la misma ventana
• Suele pasar que Microsoft lejos de la fama adquiera soluciones esta vez se trata de Zoomix, para manejar los datos, e incorporar esta a SQL Server.
