With play boarding on recklessness at the Season III Foxwoods’ World Poker Finals, Tuan Le got involved in the following hand with Bradley Berman who also happened to be one of the other chip leaders at the table. Sitting under the gun, Tuan looked down to see AK and like he had done most of the night, he raised. Facing a raise of 170,000, Bradley Berman woke up with a monster KK. Bradley announced raise and Tuan immediately jumped out of his chair to see just how much Berman was going to make it. Berman made it 400,000 more. Tuan then re-raised to 1.6M, putting Berman all-in. Bradley shoved his chips in the middle and flipped up his two kings to Tuan’s disappointment.

The flop came TT2 and Bradley’s kings were an 85% to win the largest pot of the night. The turn brought the 8 and Berman only had to dodge an ace to win the pot to take a monster chip lead but Tuan spiked the heartbreaking A on the river to eliminate Bradley from the tournament.

That huge pot gave Tuan the chips he needed to cruise to his first WPT victory.
