Shortly after the second World Trade Center tower was hit, at 9:03 a.m. on September 11, 2001, an officer at Andrews Air Force Base, just outside Washington, DC, was notified that the Secret Service wanted fighter jets launched over the nation’s capital. It was now obvious the U.S. was under terrorist attack, and Washington would have been an obvious potential target. And yet the Secret Service’s request came to nothing.

No fighters had taken off from Andrews by 9:37 a.m., when the Pentagon was hit. Nor had any launched by the time Flight 93 apparently crashed in Pennsylvania, shortly after 10:00 a.m., while flying toward Washington. In fact, fighters did not launch from Andrews until over 90 minutes after the second attack in New York. The first fully armed fighters did not launch from there until more than two hours after that attack. So why was the Secret Service’s early request for help not acted upon? Why did fighter jets only take off from this massive Air Force base to defend the capital well after the morning’s attacks had ended?

SECRET SERVICE CALLS FAA HEADQUARTERS

The Secret Service agent who made the early request that fighter jets be launched appears to have been Nelson Garabito. Garabito was responsible for coordinating the president’s movements, and was also the Secret Service’s liaison to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). He was in the Secret Service Joint Operations Center (JOC) at the White House that morning. Just after Flight 175 crashed into the South Tower at 9:03 a.m., Garabito called Terry Van Steenbergen, his counterpart at the FAA, who was at the FAA headquarters in Washington. According to the 9/11 Commission, shortly into the call, Van Steenburgen told Garabito “that there were more planes unaccounted for–possibly hijacked–in addition to the two that had already crashed.”

Possibly in response to this information, Garabito appears to have asked Van Steenbergen to arrange for fighters to be launched over Washington. Van Steenbergen asked three of his colleagues at the FAA to call various air bases to see if they could get fighters into the air. One of these colleagues, Karen Pontius, had previously worked at Andrews Air Force Base, so she made the call to the FAA air traffic control tower there. [1] Garabito would have been unable to call the tower himself, because, according to a 9/11 Commission memorandum, the Secret Service “did not have a phone line to the Andrews tower.”

FAA HEADQUARTERS REQUESTS FIGHTERS

Pontius spoke to Steve Marra, an air traffic controller in the Andrews tower. Marra has recalled that Pontius “told him to launch F-16s to cap the airspace over Washington.” He relayed this information to the District of Columbia Air National Guard (DCANG), which is based at Andrews, across the airfield from the control tower. [2] Marra appears to have done so when DCANG officer Major Daniel Caine phoned the tower and asked if any air traffic control measures were being implemented in response to the attacks. [3] Caine later recalled that the tower controller–i.e. Marra–told him “that they just received the scramble order.” However, oddly, Caine told the 9/11 Commission that the Andrews tower “would not have been in the loop for any Secret Service orders to scramble aircraft.” [4]

If the DC Air National Guard was notified of this early “scramble order,” why was that order not acted upon? Pilots and others working for the DCANG at Andrews were already well aware of the crisis taking place. Upon learning of the second crash, someone at the unit reportedly yelled, “We’re under a terrorist attack!” [5] And, seeing the television coverage of the burning WTC towers, an officer exclaimed, “Well, holy shit, if this is a terrorist attack, we need to get something in the air!”

Fox News tells us the “new” Republican party will save us from the “socialist” excesses of the Obama administration and the Democrats. Republicans are re-thinking their political strategy, we are assured, and embracing constitutional principles. Sarah Palin, the former statist governor of Alaska, is now cast as a Libertarian. Bilderberg attendee Rick Perry is portrayed as a principled constitutionalist. Glenn Beck uses his blackboard to instruct the Republicans on how to reaffirm the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Meanwhile, on the so-called left, limousine liberals at MSNBC and CNN decry the “teabaggers” and declare the Republicans are enchanted by the growing mantra of less government and less government spending.

It’s all a mirage. By and large stalwart Republicans remain neocons at heart. Most are unrepentant warmongers who do not have a problem jacking up the debt owed to offshore banksters so long as the money is used to bomb small and helpless Muslim countries. Violating the Constitution is not an issue so long as the high-tech surveillance grid is used to listen in on the satellite calls supposedly made by Muslim miscreants in far-flung caves.

At the center of the neocon philosophy of big government and its cherished war machine is the manufactured 9/11 fairy tale. It drives the cobbled together illusion that there are dangerous Islamic fanatics out there who hate us for our freedoms and are actively planning to attack us again.

House Republican Leader John Boehner stepped up to the plate today and defended the neocon GWOT. Boehner and the Republicans are against a plan announced by the Obama administration to bring Kahlid Sheikh Mohammed and four other Guantanamo Bay detainees to New York City for a show trial.

A career Neo-Con hack with intimate ties to the CIA has shamefully exploited the tragic massacre at Fort Hood last week to smear anyone who questions the official 9/11 story as a gun-toting terrorist intent on mass murder on a par with crazed killer Nidal Malik Hasan.

In an opinion piece, UPI editor at large Arnaud De Borchgrave disgracefully claims that, “There are tens of thousands of Hasans all over the Western world — from Brussels to Berlin and from Burgos, Spain, to Birmingham, U.K.,” before making the case that anyone who dares doubt the government’s version of events on 9/11 is an extremist hell-bent on metering out “jihadi violence” like Hasan did when he gunned down scores of his colleagues.

“For them, Sept. 11, 2001, was a conspiracy cooked up by the CIA and Mossad, Israel’s external intelligence service,” writes Borchgrave.

Borchgrave’s bellicose hit piece harks back to the November 2007 hearing of the Homeland Security Subcommittee’s “Terrorism and the Internet,” which was broadcast on C-Span and chaired by California democrat Jane Harman, sponsor of the infamous HR 1955, “Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007.” During the hearing, a powerpoint demonstration from Mark Weitzman of the Simon Weisenthal Center ludicrously equated Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, an organization consisting of professionals who are investigating the collapse of WTC 7 and the twin towers, with violent Islamic terrorists.

Borchgrave outlines his argument with the usual turd-load of ad hominem drivel and half-baked strawman claims. At no point whatsoever does he present any evidence that Hasan embraced 9/11 conspiracies, which would totally contradict seperate reports that Hasan is linked with members of Al-Qaeda.

“Even though al-Qaida’s Osama bin Laden and his No. 2 Ajman Al-Zawahiri have both taken credit for Sept. 11, countless millions are convinced they had nothing to do with the attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon,” he writes.

If Borchgrave had bothered to do one iota of research before spewing his vitriol, he would have discovered that on numerous occasions immediately after the attacks, Bin Laden explicitly denied responsibility for 9/11.

In a statement released to the Arabic satellite channel Al Jazeera and reported on by CNN on September 17, 2001, Bin Laden said, “I would like to assure the world that I did not plan the recent attacks, which seems to have been planned by people for personal reasons. I have been living in the Islamic emirate of Afghanistan and following its leaders’ rules. The current leader does not allow me to exercise such operations.”

Asked if he carried out 9/11 by the Pakistani newspaper Ummat on September 28, 2001, Bin Laden responded, “I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States. As a Muslim, I try my best to avoid telling a lie. I had no knowledge of these attacks, nor do I consider the killing of innocent women, children and other humans as an appreciable act. Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people. Such a practice is forbidden even in the course of a battle.”

The only person to “take credit” for the attacks was a dubiously fat Bin Laden lookalike who appeared on a videotape that was broadcast on December 13, 2001. Freedom Of Information Act requests attempting to validate the tape’s authenticity filed with the FBI, CIA, Department of Defense, and CENTCOM were met with a refusal to release any records. The FBI’s Most Wanted page still fails to list 9/11 on Bin Laden’s rap sheet because “the FBI has no hard evidence connecting bin Laden to 9/11,” according to FBI agent Rex Tomb.

This is one of the best summaries I’ve found that explains who was behind the 9/11 Attacks and the destruction of the World Trade Center. Why reinvent the wheel, when my friend DrDebug has already put it all together better than anyone else can?

In 1986 Paul Bremer was appointed Ambassador-at-Large for Counterterrorism and started to develop all kinds of plans with possible terrorists events. Even though the plans appear to have been created to prevent terrorism there is also the likelyhood that they were created for false flag terrorist events. Paul Bremer has extensive connections to the neo-conversatives, Henry Kissinger and in 1999 he becomes chairman of the National Commission on Terrorism and also joins the board of directors at Marsh Inc.

He describes his time at National Commission on Terrorism as follows in an interview at the Heritage foundation: “catastrophic terrorism … in the event of a catastrophic attack … tens of thousands of casualties, where the American people are going to be screaming for a response, that a President is going to want to consider using the military in some fashion … the example we use is Pearl Harbor …” Since Paul Bremer has made many similar remarks, there is reason to assume that he was one of the chief architects of 9/11.

Jerome Hauer worked in 1999 at the SAIC’s Center for Counterterrorism Technology and Analysis. One of his task was the design of the Office of Emergency Management, an emergency command center, which Rudy Giuliani wanted to have build on the 23rd floor of 7 World Trade Center (WTC7). Even though everybody around Rudy Giuliani and Jerome Hauer ridiculed the “bunker” on the 23rd floor, the decision was made to build it.

Since this office has never been used for its intented purpose and a different command center was established and used at Pier 92, there is reason to believe that the Office of Emergency Management was used to coordinate the World Trade Center attacks since it could withstand anything and had a perfect view on both the towers and the area around World Trade Center. There is no better place and safer place to coordinate World Trade Center than the Office of Emergency Management.

Later Jerome Hauer started to work for Kroll, a company closely linked to Marsh and at present a subsidiary. Kroll has been named at least twice as a CIA front organization or a privatized CIA.

The most vital part in the 9/11 plan was getting the correct government. There are very close links between the Greenberg family (AIG, Kroll, Marsh etc.) and the Bush family and they have participated in companies like Harken Energy, Texas Rangers and Trilateral Investments among others. The Greenbergs had their own law firm called Greenberg-Traurig, currently independent but probably still has very close links.

Greenberg-Traurig represents Governor Jeb Bush and has close links to Antonin Scalia, Jack Abramoff and they represented George W. Bush in the Bush-Gore 2000 Florida election vote recount which was vital in stopping the recount.

Adnan Khashoggi is believed to be the hidden owner of Huffman Aviation and playing a major role behind the scenes in al-Cokeda, the drug running part of the intelligence community to finance black operations. Florida election official Theresa LePore was a private stewardess of Khashoggi’s private plane. Theresa LePore is the mastermind behind the butterfly ballot which presumably lead to thousands of votes from Al Gore to go to Pat Buchanan.

ChoicePoint, the company which purged the Democratic posters from the voter role, wanted to merge with Kroll, however negotiations failed for unknown reasons. They were used in 9/11 as well for the identification of the victims and were at the scene almost instantly.

One of the major goals of 9/11 was enabling the war in Afghanistan. The planning of the war had started in 2000 and was related to both an oil and gas pipeline through Afghanistan and a diminished heroin flow. Officially the restrict opium trade was blamed on the Taliban’s strict interpretation of Islamic Shari. There are reasons to believe that Afghanistan didn’t supply al-Cokeda any more and wanted to go into business for themselves. The Greenberg family and Adnan Khashoggi were also involved in both the oil and gas line in Afghanistan and the heroin from Afghanistan.

The United States started secret negotiations in 2001 with Afghanistan to ensure the flow of heroin and for the development of an oil and gas pipeline through Afghanistan. The secret negotiations failed. In the summer of 2001 officials threatened war against Afghanistan and in July the BBC reported that if military action would take place, it would take place before the snows started falling in Afghanistan, by the middle of October at the latest.

A lot of mergers and last moment preparations were taken place in New York. On July 24, 2001, 6 weeks prior to 9/11 Silverstein took control of the lease of all the WTC buildings following the Port Authority decision on April 26. Marvin Pierce Bush makes sure that he is no longer connected to the security of the World Trade Center.

Kroll merged with Armor Holdings thus adding two more specialized teams to their company: Defence Systems Limited, a British Private Military Contractor who protects the British Queen among others and Alpha Firm, the former top-KGB team during the cold war. With that merger they had at least four teams in their company and probably the best teams as well. AIG international reinsured the WTC buildings and made sure that their competitors got most of the reinsurance.

Louis Freeh, the director of the FBI at the time, is more or less forced out of his position and the same is done with John O’Neill, the former top anti-terrorist specialist, who gets offered a job at the World Trade Center security.

A lot of companies move into the World Trade Center who have some scandals and some other companies move out of the World Trade Center at the last moment.

Three weeks prior to 9/11 inside trading with put-options starts and is mainly focused on American Airlines, United Airlines, Marsh and numerous insurance agencies and companies with offices in the World Trade Center. From Thursday before 9/11 it reaches historic levels and is a global event.

No investigation into inside trading is made even though it is solid evidence for 9/11 preknowledge. A Canadian list of 38 companies is published and lists many companies inside the World Trade Center, defense contractors, almost all major airlines and several other companies with connections to either AIG or Citigroup (WTC7 was mainly occupied by Salomon Smith Barney who is a part of Citigroup. Deutsche Bank was the biggest inside trader of the all and that is maybe because the US CEO, “Buzzy” Krongard, is also the #3 man at the CIA, it would have been the intelligence community itself who used their own bank because they would never say who was doing it.

A wire specialist is discovered on the 84th floor of WTC2 – who is not listed on any official tenant listing and never mentions that they were there – and there are about 200 electric engineers working in the World Trade Center around the time. The Pentagon construction was performed by AMEC. Both AMEC and Tully Construction play a major role in the clean up of Ground Zero and both have specialized Controlled Demolition companies. No links to AIG have been discovered upto now.

Several war games were being played during 9/11 including one by Mr. Fulton and his CIA team who were running a pre-planned simulation to explore the emergency response issues that would be created if a plane were to strike a building.

The main team at WTC would have comprised of Kroll and Marsh and since those companies have a privatized CIA inside, all kinds of spooks could have been added to the mix. The same could be true for Raytheon which also has an overlap, however EVERYTHING was probably privatized, so no government agencies, since that would endanger deniability.

9/11 started at WTC1, because that was on Marsh’s own territory and if that failed, it could be called a weird accident and that’s it. Rudy Giulani and all the others establish an emergency center at Pier 92.

In Rudy’s own words for the 9/11 Commission: “The reason Pier 92 was selected as a command center was because on the next day, on September 12, Pier 92 was going to have a drill, it had hundreds of people here, from FEMA, from the Federal Government, from the State, from the State Emergency Management Office, and they were getting ready for a drill for biochemical attack. So that was gonna be the place they were going to have the drill. The equipment was already there, so we were able to establish a command center there, within three days, that was two and a half to three times bigger than the command center that we had lost at 7 World Trade Center.”

The next attacks were at WTC2 and the Pentagon since both were more difficult. Because the “impacts” on both WTC1 and WTC2 were in control of the Greenberg family especially WTC1 which was under full control by Marsh, there is the question whether planes are necessary. So I prefer the no-plane option, however they could have installed a plane magnet or a homing beacon at their offices to ensure a perfect hit (personally I think that there never were any planes). The 767/757 scenario is very unlike. Either there were no planes or it were Global Hawk-like missile with a specific homing beacon in WTC/ Pentagon.

WTC1 and WTC2 were destroyed with a Controlled Demolition to hide any evidence and after the whole game had been played WTC7 was pulled also because it contained the command center for the attacks.

Rudi Giulani and his team immediately set out to ship off all the debris without any investigation. The Bush administration immediately blaims al-Qaeda for the attacks and wants to implicate Saddam Hussein as well for another war in Iraq. The attack is blamed on the drug dealers working for their own organizations since they were Arabs and could be used as Muslim extremists. The Bush administration had no intention of investigating 9/11 since any investigation could turn up wrong doing.

The bin Laden family and all the other Saudis were the only people allowed to fly out of the United States.

Edwin Meese and Paul Bremer co-chaired the Heritage Foundation’s Homeland Security Task Force, which created a blueprint for the Department of Homeland Security and a company associated with Paul Bremer offering privatized Homeland Security already registered the required domain prior to 9/11. The Bush administration immediately approves of their plans.

The United States, with support from the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, the Northern Alliance and many more nations, invaded Afghanistan on October 7, 2001 as part of its War on Terra campaign. It should be noted that it is completely impossible to launch a full scale war with extremely detailed plans on such a short notice. In 2002, Opium production was back to a pre-war level of 3,400 tons and the construction of the oil and gas pipeline had started.

Because of tremendous pressure to launch an investigation into 9/11, a commission headed by Henry Kissinger was proposed, however nobody trusts a guy for whom a case for Crimes against Humanity exists and who can’t leave the United States anymore.

A Kean Commission was used instead with close links to Condi Rice, Warren Buffett and Fiduciary Trust (one of the companies in WTC2). The commission piles lie upon lie and Dr. David Ray Griffin has found 115 lies. http://globalresearch.ca/articles/DAV504A.html demonstrates with mathematical techniques that the official acccount on 9/11 is simply not true based on a limited of lies. Applying David Griffin’s research would result in a probability of correctness which is astronomically small.

On March 20, 2003 a war against Iraq was launched based on the 9/11 attacks without any evidence of wrong doing. Paul Bremer later became the Ambassador of Iraq and under his reign the insurgency started to spin out of control.

A comparison between what we are told and what we can see, with our own eyes. World Trade Center 7 collapsed after having been damaged by fire and falling debris, but the collapse looks very much like a controlled demolition.

There is to be build in New York City a monument to memorialize the tragedy of September 11, 2001. The monument will be built on the site of the fallen twin tower buildings. There will be other monuments built at the Pentagon and in a field in Pennsylvania. The monument in New York will be of special interest. It will memorialize the Memory Hole.

The phrase Memory Hole comes from George Orwell’s book 1984. The Memory Hole is where the government sends history it finds inconvenient, forgotten forever.

The most curious and least explained event of September 11, 2001 is the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7. It is also the most forgotten. The Memory Hole is effective.

What is curious about WTC7 is that it collapsed and that it collapsed so neatly. The collapse was so neat that CBS News anchorman Dan Rather said its collapse was like a controlled demolition of an old building. Dan said this only once. That idea also went into the Memory Hole. So did Dan.

It is also curious that the BBC reported the collapse of the building well before the building actually collapsed. This tidbit of news is also in the Memory Hole.

When the  memorial monument is unveiled, look for what is not there. It will be surprising if there is any mention of Building 7, because once something goes into the Memory Hole, it never comes out.

Giuliani received the same warning but victims and firefighters inside the tower did not

“I am told that the first tower has completely collapsed….I received a message 5-10 minutes before it physically happened saying there was impending danger the tower would collapse so I knew disaster was coming” said Rasmussen.

Rasmussen added that the imminent collapse of the building was confirmed as soon as he entered his office.

During an interview on 9/11 with ABC News’ Peter Jennings, then New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani stated, “I went down to the scene and we set up headquarters at 75 Barkley Street, which was right there with the Police Commissioner, the Fire Commissioner, the Head of Emergency Management, and we were operating out of there when we were told that the World Trade Center was going to collapse. And it did collapse before we could actually get out of the building, so we were trapped in the building for 10, 15 minutes, and finally found an exit and got out, walked north, and took a lot of people with us.”

In the eight years since the attacks, Giuliani has failed to explain how and why he received advance knowledge of this unprecedented event and why that same warning was not passed on to those inside the towers, who had been told to remain in their offices via loudspeaker after the first plane struck at 8:46am.

Add to this the fact that the collapse of a steel building that was purposefully built to withstand the impact of a commercial airliner without collapsing through fire damage was a completely unprecedented event, and the notion that the 9/11 Commission wouldn’t even question these advance warnings sounds alarm bells and provides yet another reason why a new investigation is needed.
