<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Aconteceu em meados de maio, em Floripa, a <b>9ª Conferência Global sobre Viagens e Turismo</b> do Conselho Mundial de Viagem e Turismo (ou WTTC da sigla em inglês). O evento teve a participação de mil e trezentos inscritos de 59 países, mais 110 jornalistas brasileiros e estrangeiros, que se reuniram durante três dias no <a title="Resort Costão do Santinho" href="http://www.costao.com.br/bem-vindo/" target="_blank">Resort Costão do Santinho</a> para discutir os rumos da indústria do turismo no mundo.</p>
<p>A turma chegou ao consenso que <i>os governos devem focar suas energias em criar ambientes positivos e seguros para novos investimentos e que investimentos na indústria verde é a solução para reaquecer a economia mundial por gerar bem-estar social, novos empregos e assegurar o desenvolvimento sustentável.</i></p>
<p>Foi a primeira vez que a Conferencia aconteceu na América Latina. O jornal de maior circulação no Estado é o Diário Catarinense, mas tem também o Diarinho. Um tablóide onde o colunista Cesar Valente baixou o pau, usando aqui a linguagem do pasquim, em “<a title="De olho na capital - Cesar Valente" href="http://www.deolhonacapital.com.br/2009/05/02/o-tour-europeu-do-pessoal-da-fatma/" target="_blank">O tour europeu do pessoal da Fatma</a>”. A critica é sobre a viagem dos técnicos da <a title="Fatma - Fundação do Meio Ambiente" href="http://www.fatma.sc.gov.br/" target="_blank">Fundação do Meio Ambiente</a>, a tal da Fatma, que estiveram <i>em Marbella com os investidores espanhóis que pretendem investir 2,5 bilhões em um mega-loteamento de luxo no município de Governador Celso Ramos, naquela área plana entre a Br-101 e a península dos Ganchos.</i></p>
<p><i></i></p>
<p>Lula, que esteve na abertura do encontro, falou em agilizar (ou seria aliviar?) as rígidas normas brasileiras no licenciamento de empreendimentos turísticos. Será que o PT se deu conta que viagem e turismo (inclusive o náutico) não é luxo e sim geração de empregos?</p>
<p>O projeto da <a title="Quita dos Ganchos" href="http://www.quintadosganchos.com.br/" target="_blank">Quita dos Ganchos</a> prevê campos de golfe, hotéis, quadras de tênis, centro comercial, shopping center, 8000 residências e marina para mil barcos. Eu não sei você, mas pra mim quanto mais vagas molhadas para barcos (de luxo ou não), quanto mais opções de lugares seguros em nossa costa, enfim, quanto mais concorrência, melhor para o turismo náutico.</p>

<p>No caso, um Chevrolet Cruze era o safety-car presente no FIA WTTC em  Pau/França, mas para o piloto da BMW Franz Engstler aquele não era o safety-car  mais seguro.</p>

Mais de mil pessoas fizeram suas inscrições para participar do evento. Entre os jornalistas, 70 brasileiros do qual eu fiz parte e 40 estrangeiros marcaram presença.O presidente da república fez a abertura do WTTC que contou com algumas atrações como o Ballet Bolshoi. O congresso teve como objetivo debater sobre o rumo do turismo mundial. <description><![CDATA[The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) has just published its annual economic analysis, looking]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>The <a href="http://www.wttc.org">World Travel and Tourism Council</a> (WTTC) has just published its <a href="http://www.wttc.org/eng/Tourism_Research/Tourism_Economic_Research/">annual economic analysis</a>, looking forward to 2009.    After four years or strong growth, the WTTC are predicting that the global tourism economy will contract by 3.9% in 2009 and that will only expand by 0.3% in 2010.   Long term, the WTTC still forecasts strong growth, with tourism&#8217;s contribution to world GDP rising to 19% ($10.5bn) by 2019.</p>
<p>These are sobering figures, reflecting the macro economic crisis and a clear indicator of the global nature of this structural shift in the world economy.   The <a href="http://www.time.com/time/covers/0,16641,19741209,00.html">last great structural recession</a> heralded the start of this era of capitalist globalisation, as governments and corporations grappled with how to respond to a period of falling profits and industrial change.  For the tourism industry this involved the decline of many of the traditional mass tourism destinations and their replacement by new ones &#8211; we can see this in the emergence of the Mediterranean resorts &#8211; but the fallout from this period also saw the emergence of new forms of tourism such as urban tourism and eco-tourism.</p>
<p>This recession will be truely global, with no significant economies operating outside of the <a href="http://www.cid.harvard.edu/cidtrade/issues/washington.html">prevailing neo-liberal structures</a>, meaning that every economy will feel the effects of the restructuring process.  As with previous recessions however, these effects will not be spread evenly and there will be winners and loser in the tourism industry at the global level.  The emerging tourism generating countries such as Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC) will become more important as the global balance of economic power shifts, prompting the world&#8217;s main tourism destinations to restructure to meet their needs.  This is a process that has been going on for some time, slowly, but that will probably accelerate now.  We may see currently popular destinations decline, especially those with a dependence on Western tourists.  Conversely we should see new destinations emerge along with, potentially, new forms of tourist experience as the BRIC countries flex their tourist muscles in the long term.</p>

<p>Stubeast and I were TTC, but after only two unsuccessful cycles we have come back to WTTC, discovering that niether of us are ready for the endless dissapointment of negative pregnancy tests. We would rather just enjoy ourselves through uni, and worry about this stress later on. However due to some mention that it could be possible I have either endo or PCOS I am still charting in order to try and help identify these issues.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a bit of a long and boring process, I wake up, I take my temp, I put it into fertilityfriend.com and it charts it, I take note of my cervical mucus too. I even note when we have sex, as though we were TTC, even though we aren&#8217;t. I have to admit, despite knowing in my heart I have neither of the forementioned conditions I&#8217;m still really frightened by it.  Despite knowing it is not hopeless that I will be able to become pregnant, with help, and have a family, it is still terrifying that my body may not be doing what it is meant to do anyway. But hopefully this is what charting will help to aliviate for me anyway, this worry, that is eating away at me and thus is doing damage to our relationship, having said that it is getting way better.</p>
<p>So I have to be up at 8:45 to take my temp&#8230; thank goodness for modern technology that I don&#8217;t have to chart manually! See my page for links to my charts.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>50 ans après le G</strong><strong>rand Prix de Formule 1 qui s’est déroulé à Casablanca, une nouvelle compétition internationale voit le jour à Marrakech.</strong></p>

Cette date correspond aux premiers raids qui se sont déroulés sur les terres marocaines. Depuis, plusieurs compétitions plus ou moins prestigieuses ont eu lieu. La plus marquante reste le Grand Prix de Formule 1 du circuit de Aïn Diab à Casablanca, remporté par Stirling Moss le 19 octobre 1958. A cause d’un carambolage meurtrier, la FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) refusa que cette compétition se poursuive l’année suivante. De nombreuses courses (ou rallyes) ont eu lieu par la suite, mais aucune n’a affolé les compteurs. <!--more--></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">De nos jours, le World Touring Car Championship (WTTC) est l&#8217;une des trois séries de championnat international que compte la FIA, avec la Formule 1 et le WRC (Championnat du monde de Rallye). Après Pau, Monza, Macao, Brands Hatch et quelques autres villes, Marrakech rejoint la prestigieuse liste des destinations FIA WTCC. Ce Grand Prix était jusque là présent sur trois continents : l&#8217;Europe, l&#8217;Asie et l&#8217;Amérique. Il existera désormais en Afrique, grâce à un accord entre les promoteurs marocains, Eurosport et FIA WTCC. Marrakech Grand Prix est la concrétisation du rêve de deux jeunes entrepreneurs, Aly Horma et Islam Zahid. Avec le soutien du groupe Menara et plus particulièrement de son fondateur Abderrahmane Zahid, les deux coéquipiers ont passé la vitesse supérieure pour mettre en place cet événement.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">« Le Maroc n&#8217;a pas eu sa coupe du Monde de football, mais il aura son grand prix automobile » déclare Islam Zahid, loin d’être sur les rotules. S&#8217;inspirant d&#8217;une étude consacrée à l&#8217;impact économique de la course FIA WTCC de Porto en 2007 et basée sur des chiffres de l&#8217;Organisation Mondiale du Tourisme, Aly Horma avance le chiffre de 52 millions d&#8217;euros d&#8217;impact économique autour du GP. Ce qui correspond à l&#8217;ensemble des dépenses engagées par les équipes, les constructeurs, les organisateurs, la presse, les sponsors, et les touristes ainsi qu&#8217;à la couverture médiatique. Lors d’une conférence de presse qui a eu lieu le 2 juillet 2008, Marcello Lotti, Manager General du FIA WTCC a assuré que les plans du circuit avaient été validés par la Fédération, et que Marrakech était une destination de choix pour le championnat.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Coup d’accélérateur</strong><br />
Aly Horma, Président du Marrakech GP est un ancien banquier, lauréat de l&#8217;INSEAD, et ayant fait carrière sur<img class="alignright" src="http://atlasf1.autosport.com/2001/san/preview/okeefe07.jpg" alt="" width="330" height="243" /> les places de New York et de Londres. Il a fait son retour au Maroc en janvier 2007. Les infrastructures de Marrakech Grand Prix pourront accueillir 5000 organisateurs et participants (FIA WTCC et Eurosport ) pendant une semaine. Une manifestation qui permettra la création de près de 700 emplois directs et indirects dans la construction, les services et la restauration. Environ 100 000 spectateurs seront attendus du 1er au 3 mai 2009 et près de 113 millions de passionnés pourront suivre la street race par le biais d’Eurosport. Les promoteurs de Marrakech GP ont signé pour trois ans et le contrat est renouvelable. Sa pérennité ne sera assurée que si les organisateurs sont à la hauteur d&#8217;un tel événement et que le gouvernement continue à le soutenir et à s&#8217;impliquer de façon effective.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">D&#8217;après Jeremy Dickson, Directeur de D3 Motorsport, (leader mondial dans la conception, la construction et l&#8217;aménagement de circuits automobiles depuis près de 50 ans), « ce bijou technologique constituera l&#8217;un des meilleurs tracé de cette catégorie de véhicules ». Situé au sud de la ville, dans le prolongement de l&#8217;avenue Mohamed VI, ce circuit sera « en face des montagnes de l&#8217;Atlas et sera esthétiquement l&#8217;un des plus beaux du monde » ajoute Jeremy Dickson. La compétition sera ponctuée d&#8217;autres courses, appelées « courses de support » pour permettre à d&#8217;autres types d’autos de rouler sur l’asphalte marrakchi. A l’heure où le tourisme est freiné à Marrakech, cet événement majeur devrait donner au secteur un nouveau coup d’accélérateur. « Cette rencontre concerne tous les Marocains. A nous tous de montrer à la planète que le Maroc peut accueillir un Grand Prix, qu&#8217;il peut mettre sur pied un circuit automobile aux normes draconiennes de la FIA et qu&#8217;il est capable de mobiliser ses ressources et ses gens pour se hisser au niveau des grandes destinations sportives et touristiques du monde, afin d’attirer les regards de millions de téléspectateurs» conclu Aly Horma, président du GP de Marrakech. Pataquès ou nouveau départ de l’économie dans la cité ocre ? Seul l’avenir nous le dira.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>I risultati dei test che abbiamo svolto dopo le gare in Sud America, in particolare in Germania ad Oschersleben, mi hanno molto soddisfatto perché hanno ribadito la validità del lavoro di affinamento degli assetti su cui abbiamo lavorato in passato a Granada ed in parte anche a Valencia. In condizioni da gara la nostra Lacetti è veloce, ed oltre al buon ritmo siamo stati in grado di ottenere anche prestazioni valide in assoluto. A Valencia il mio compagno Alain Menu quando ha provato col fresco al mattino è stato il più veloce, io stesso ad Oschersleben, che pure è un tracciato che non è certo tra i miei preferiti, ho ottenuto un bel tempo, battuto solo dalla Seat di Yvan Muller a fine giornata. In poche parole non vedo motivo per cui ancora una volta a Valencia non debba ottenere un bel risultato, come in passato. La pista mi piace, la nostra Chevrolet va bene, l&#8217;unica incognita sono il tempo, che si prevede capriccioso, ed ovviamente gli avversari che non staranno a guardare. La nuova Honda sarà una scoperta, la BMW in Spagna cercherà di rifarsi delle delusioni del Sudamerica e poi tutti sappiamo quanto ci tenga la Seat a far bella figura in casa. La Federazione è intervenuta di recente sul regime massimo di rotazione dei motori turbodiesel limitandoli, ma non c&#8217;è da scordare che in passato le Leon sono sempre andate bene sul Circuito Ricardo Tormo anche quando non avevano ancora il diesel, e forse questo provvedimento influirà più su piste con allunghi come Monza che in tracciati come Valencia dove si passa molta parte del giro nel misto. In ogni caso ormai c&#8217;è da aspettare solo poche ore per capire i rapporti di forza in campo, invece di scervellarsi con le ipotesi</p>
