If you dig watching guys in speedos as they wrestle, then mark Sunday, May 12th on your calendar!

WWE: Raw is coming to Fort Worth, and yep, John Cena will be there!

He’ll see you, but you won’t see him…

Get more info on that by going here.

Pat Green and Kevin Fowler will be at the Real. Texas. Festival THIS weekend!!

It’s Mesquite’s seventh annual fest showcasing Texas music, with more than 25 bands on three stages!

And when we say “real Texas festival,” we mean this event is hotter than a fur coat in Marfa!

It’s so hot the trees are bribing the dogs…

Now, the festival is in Mesquite, and it’s REALLY easy to find!

You just go up the road and turn left past yonder, but if you need more help, look for the guy at the red-light…

He’s so country he thinks a seven-course meal is a possum and a six-pack!

RAW visited Nottingham once again on Tuesday 23rd April for the WrestleMania Revenge Tour. The night

RAW visited Nottingham once again on Tuesday 23rd April for the WrestleMania Revenge Tour. The night was full of fun and some really good matches, and sent everyone from the little kids to the dragged-along parents home happy.

The night started off on a disappointing note with a severe lack of merchandise to choose from. This may not seem like a major point but a lot of fans like to start the night by buying their favourite wrestler’s shirt to wear in support. Here, though, there was not much choice at all. There were plenty of Cena varieties to pick from, but outside of that there was just Ryback, R-Truth, Rey Mysterio and Miz shirts.

I picked myself up a Ryback t-shirt and a Zack Ryder headband, just for fun.

The show began with a comedy match between Heath Slater and R-Truth to warm up the crowd. It was nothing special but R-Truth got the crowd excited with his rapping and everyone hates Heath Slater, so it was a good start.

We then were treated to a Michael McGillicutty appearance. McGillicutty is the son of the late Mr Perfect and is heralded by many inside the WWE as a technically gifted wrestler. However, we didn’t get to see any of that because McGillicutty picked up the win over Brad Maddox in a matter of seconds as MAddox was taking off his tracksuit bottoms.

One for the Dads in attendance, the Divas were up next. Kaitlyn vs Tamina Snuka for the Divas Title. Now, championships don’t normally change hands at live shows so everyone pretty much knew where this was going and it was an average WWE Divas match- short, off-beat at times and below average.

Then, the arena went crazy. Dolph Ziggler, the new World Heavyweight Champion, and his heavy Big E Langston emerged to take on the team of Daniel Bryan and Kane for the Tag Team Championships. Again, the result was pretty much guaranteed but Ziggler and Bryan had a lot of fun with pre and post match shenanigans in and out of the ring. Filled with a lot of good spots and a lot of comedy, this match really ignited the crowd… Only for that fire to be put out by the intermission which followed.

After the intermission, the crowd was a little dead when Zack Ryder and Antonio Cesaro put on the best match of the night. It was technical, lengthy and told a great story – everything you’d want from a wrestling match. Zack Ryder even got the win to the surprise of many (including myself.)

The penultimate match of the night was Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Sweet T) vs Team Rhodes Scholars (Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow.) Again, a match sprinkled with comedy with the faces Tons of Funk getting the victory but what will remain in the memories of most fans will be Damien Sandow’s high-pitched shrieking as he was running away from his monstrous opponents.

The main event saw John Cena face Ryback in a tables match for the WWE Championship. Again, the result could pretty much be guaranteed but these two still put on an entertaining match with Ryback going crazy at every opportunity to destroy Cena. The crowd were loud during this one, going back and forth with “Let’s go Cena!”/”Cena Sucks!” chants throughout the match.

To end the show the locker room came out to celebrate John Cena’s birthday. Led by Sweet T, the arena sang a hearty rendition of happy birthday to John, who ended the night by placing Team Rhodes Scholars’ faces firmly in his birthday cake. Oh the hilarity!

At around two and a half hours in length the show fit in a lot of entertainment, making up the price of admission. WWE always put on great live shows, and they are set to do it again when WWE Live returns to the Capital FM Arena on Wednesday 13th November 2013.

Matty couldn’t get out of work in time for our 6:15 game last night. That means I had to play

Matty couldn’t get out of work in time for our 6:15 game last night. That means I had to play shortstop. There are a number of reasons why this only happens in emergency situations, the first of which being my lack of range, the second of which is my poor throwing arm. Both of these shortcomings were on display during a single play last night where I had to A) backhand a grounder only a few feet to my left, and B) make the Jeter “jump throw” to first across my body as I was drifting towards the left field line. The result was a 5-bouncer that got to the first baseman far too late for an out. But I didn’t make any errors and started a double play on a hot shot back up the middle. I also had two hits. This would have been a good night had it not been for the fact that A) we lost, and B) I made the final out of the game with the bases loaded taking a called third strike. Truth: the ball was not close to the strike zone.

“How come there’s cheerleaders?”

I did get home in time to give Madison a bath and share with her what has become a Monday night tradition: WWE Raw. “Mom, I love wrestling because Daddy wrestles with me in bed!” Madison said. It’s exactly what it sounds like, once a week Madison and I have wrestling matches. She enters the bedroom to the song that cow in the shower sings in the milk commercial. I enter the ring to whatever rock song I feel like that day. I do all the ring introductions. Madison is “Princess Madison,” and she wears a matching Cinderlla PJ set. My moniker is “Daddy Higa” and I wear whatever boxers I have on. We use one of Lynnette’s gold belts as our championship strap. The physics of the human body prevent Lynnette’s eyes from spinning around in their sockets like the images on a slot machine at the thought of Madison’s interest in wrestling.

She did not care for the Funkasaurus and Tensai. I thought she would given the music and dancing and cheerleaders and fireworks. That’s right up her alley.

Since Mad’s bedtime is 8:30, she is only allowed to watch the first half-hour of Raw with me. During that time, she watched a match between R Truth and Caesaro, opining “I hope the brown guy wins, he’s a better singer.” She also seems to have found a favorite wrestler, Damien Sandow. “Whose the guy with the pink leg bands?” “That’s Damien Sandow,” I said. “I hope he wins. I like pink.” She sounds fully prepared to make uninformed decisions and win a March Madness bracket. Her interest seemed to wane a little as replays flooded the screen and the show cut to commercial.

She’s a great storyteller. Someday soon, she’ll rattle off bedtime stories to me. Can’t wait.

She turned on the iPad and found my Facebook wall on the screen. There was a large block of text sitting in the middle of the page. “What does this say?” she asked. “I think it’s a story,” I said. “Can I read it?” she asked. “Sure,” I said. Since she can’t really read, she did her best to improvise. She regaled me with a wonderful tale about a boy named Johnny who was late for school and didn’t do his homework so he got in trouble. I hope that Johnny is not a proxy for herself. That would make me upset. “Your turn, dad,” she said. I made up a little story as well, about a guy who beat up other guys to win a championship belt. “That’s not a story, that’s wrestling, dad!” Madison objected. Well, you write what you know, and all that.

Far too quickly, the clock read eight-three-oh, and I made Madison aware of this face. Lynnette is very stern about Madison’s bed time, but I respect that because she’s the one who has to deal with Madison in the morning. Madison didn’t complain. Instead, she leaned her head back and puckered her lips. I kissed her good night. I thought that seemed a little too easy. Mad slid herself off of the bed and landed on her feet. “Wrestle time?” she asked. There we go. “No, Mad, we showered already. Maybe later this week.” “Yeah, yeah,” she said and disappeared into the darkness of the hallway.

As a rule, I hate Mondays. If this holds up, though, I’ll have softball and Mad and Dad wrestling time on Mondays. It really is hard to pick that apart.

This weeks RAW was rather disappointing. It’s not that it was terrible it’s that I was

This weeks RAW was rather disappointing. It’s not that it was terrible it’s that I was expecting more with it being the their big RAW from England. They brought out the Undertaker, it just felt like it was going to be big. I figured they would want to put on a huge show for the London crowd. I was wrong. There were some good parts though and the show wasn’t awful, just not as good as I expected. One thing that is so different from watching wrestling now then when I was a kid is the information I have. Weather it was because I was just a kid or, more likely, because there was no internet back then, I had no inside info on the goings on with the WWE. I don’t mean spoilers and stuff like that but the real reasons things happen. As a basic example, knowing that Jericho is in Fozzy and that he comes and goes as his touring dates allow. There was a lot of that kind of stuff tonight and the last few days. If you don’t want to look behind the curtain, you are going to want to tread lightly through this. There aren’t spoilers or anything, just a couple of little spots talking about why things happened last night.

Starting the show with Paul Heyman is never a bad idea. Especially when he introduces himself. I don’t know why but I always love that. Usual good stuff from Heyman even if he was wearing a god awful tie. The little swerve with HHH being there after he said he wasn’t was cute. He was obviously going to accept so they have to find some way to shake it up a bit. Heyman took a very good pedigree. I am running out of ways of saying how good Heyman is. Think about how awful this long, and I mean long running feud would be without him.

I don’t get what the WWE is thinking. They have a very good wrestler in Cesaro and a very bad one in R-Truth but yet it’s Truth who gets the push and Cesaro is relegated to jobbing and a ridiculous yodeling gimmick. Seriously? He’s way to good for yodeling. The problem is the WWE has no idea how to book bad guys so only fan favorites and guys who allow the fans to chant along get a pop and everyone else seems to fall flat. It’s not their fault, it’s the WWE. Cesaro isn’t over with the crowd because he loses constantly. He was a champion and lost every match. But yet, because R-Truth can get the fans (and for some reason Micheal Cole) to chant chant when he comes out he gets the push and Cesaro is wasted. I have written way more then I wanted to about this today so I’ll move on. At least the crowd didn’t keep that damn “Ole Ole Ole” chant going all night.

For how long and in how many different configurations do we have to see the Rhode Scholars take on Tons of Funk? Seriously. We’ve seen this over and over again, please move on. I will say this, I was rather impressed with Sweet T. He had some nice moves including holding Rhodes upside down for a long time and looking like he could have held him up all day. You have to see it I am not doing it justice but it was a cool move. It’s too bad the WWE couldn’t figure out how to use Tensai, but then he was a bad guy and Sweet T is a fun loving dancing bear. ugh!

It’s happening a lot slower then I would have done it but it looks like the WWE has caught on to the idea of making Ziggler and company a big time power group. They gave Ziggy the Heavy Weight belt and now it looks like they are going to give AJ the Diva’s belt. The only thing left is to put Big E in a title feud. It should be easy enough as the US and IC belts are that important so just throw him in the mix for one of them and try and make it important again. Although, we may have seen the first inkling of a slip between Big E and Ziggy after Ziggy called Big E out for creeping on him and AJ. Hopefully this is just the WWE acknowledging what the WWE Universe always points out when AJ and Ziggler start swapping spit.

As for the trios matches, Ziggler should not need three people helping him to win a match. It was surprising that Jericho lost and will not be in the Championship match at Extreme Rules. I guess they are going to keep the Fandango feud going for another PPV. I’m not a fan of Big E’s music, but then I’m not going to be a fan of any rap music being used for an entrance. I do want to point out that I am glad that Zack Rider is dumping that awful gimmick. I don’t know if he can be any good as I never payed too much attention to him but what ever he does from here has to be better then what he was doing before. The Divas’ battle royal was actually good if only for the kick in the face AJ took from Snuka. May have been the best shot of the night. Apparently hanging out with Ziggler is having a good effect on AJ. I am one of the few people who thinks the WWE should do more with the Divas and this could be a good start. AJ obviously has the best character of all the Divas and there is actually a story line between her and Kaitlyn so they could build a nice feud between now and Extreme Rules. Here’s an example of knowing the truth to why things happen in the WWE. Last night they used the excuse of the Bella Twins being disqualified for the battle royal because they pulled the Killer Bs switch-a-roo last week. Truth is they were on a different continent. They were in America promoting the new E! show about the WWE Divas. I am not sure if Natalya was there too nut one would think as she is in the show too. It’s kind of funny, all of the regular media is referring to the show as the Bella Twins show yet the official logo clearly shows Natalya out front.

If you were a WWE fan during the Attitude Era you know Foley Is God. Mick was great as usual last night and he brought out the best in Ryback. At least the best so far. Hopefully they are just scratching the surface with Ryback. His borderline shoot promo last night was really good. A little repetitive, but good. His intensity seem to work better as a heel then it did as a face but he needs to keep up the work on the promos so he doesn’t just become the white Mark Henry. He does needs to drop the “Ryback Rules” stuff though. It’s awful and sounds so forced. Stick with “feed me more”. It’s a shame Foley is way too banged up to ever wrestle again, their back and forth was very entertaining. Then of course Cena had to get involved and everything went down hill. I love Ryback calling Cena “SuperCena”. Another nod to the fans. I still don;t get Cena calling him “the Ryback” but then I don’t get much of what Cena does. I don’t know where they are going to go with this feud. Is Cena’s redemption title reign going to only last until the next PPV? Can Ryback take another PPV loss? I believe he’s 0-fer at PPVs so far. If I had to bet, you always have to go with Super Cena but who knows. I guess they could fudge the ending and draw it out through another PPV.

Apparently the WWE is reading my blog as they seem to be following some of my suggestions. First with the Power trio of Ziggy and company and now with Fandango. Last night you may have noticed he had a different chick with him. Apparently this dancer is a NXT Diva named Summer Rae.

This would seem to point to he actually having a character and being more then just a prop. Her interaction with Y2J could be the start of her being involved in story lines. This would be a great, obvious addition to the Fandango angle. Hell they could completely go Macho Man and have him be incredibly jealous when it comes to her. Of course that would have worked better if she was there from the get go but oh well. And it lead to this weeks line of the week when JBL ( I believe it was him) said “I’d like to Fandango Her”.

Here’s some more behind the scenes stuff. It was good to see William Regal last night with them being in England but it immediately brought up the question of why no Sheamus or Wade Barrett with them being in England. Obviously they will be on SmackDown but I was surprised they didn’t make an appearance yet we got two segments with Tons of Funk. Turns out there was also a SmackDown house show last night which is where they were and also why the Shield had to be helicoptered in. It wasn’t just a spot for the show, Fandango and Summer were also on the copter, they just weren’t in the shot.

Obviously I saved the best for last. The six man tag match between the Shield and Hell No and the Taker was great. The Hell No promo before the match was funny as usual. I know everyone wants Daniel Bryan to go solo again as he would be great battling for the championship but how do you break up Hell No? They are so good together and are the only actually funny thing in the WWE. At least the only one that is actually trying to be funny and pulling it off. The ambush by the Shield on Hell No needed to be more viscous. I never even thought they weren’t going to make it out for the match and was kind of confuse at first when they didn’t immediately follow the Deadman to the ring. There was a crazy spot where the Undertaker and the Ref both forgot who the legal man for the Shield was but it didn’t screw up the match and was probably missed by most people. Besides, the Undertaker is old, he’s expected to forget things.

The actually match was great. The Shield is just so good in the ring and everywhere else. They work so good together, they can both deliver and take punishment, they really have it all. This was the perfect match for the Taker as he was able to do his thing but only had to work in spots. His freaking out when Rollins started trash talking him was great. Obviously the crowd loved him and they were really into this match. I loved the “wooooooo” they used when building up when ever someone was thrown into the ropes. I have to say I was pretty surprised the Shield won again. I probably should not have been seeing it wasn’t the last match. Something like the Shield’s first loss is something they would end a RAW with. I just figured if the Phenom couldn’t beat them who can. I guess they didn’t actually beat the Taker as Daniel Bryan was pinned after missing the swan dive head butt. Will the Undertaker have another match at the PPV to finally beat the Shield or will it just be a tag team championship match between Hell No and two of the Shield? That’s the big question right now.

One last WWE note for the week. Rosa Mendez was sent home from the Euro tour by the WWE for personal reasons.

Reports are she has a drinking problem. Hopefully it’s not too bad or these reports are wrong. She surely wouldn’t be the first wrestler to have these issues hopefully she’s not the next one. I can’t imagine why I used this picture of her.

This weeks RAW wasn’t anything special and the Shield really saved it from being awful. Hopefully they bring a little more for SmackDown this week and the next few RAWs as the start pushing towards Extreme Rules. At Least I didn’t have to wait until Thursday to post this 8-) ‘Til next time…

Did you ever think, either 10 years ago or a few months ago, that The Undertaker and Fandango would appear in the same sentence about anything related to professional wrestling? I certainly didn’t, but as WWE Raw emanated from the United Kingdom last night, they were certainly the highlights of an otherwise okay show. I was unable to watch the show live last night because we were out with my wife’s family celebrating her birthday and I did everything in my power to avoid both the spoilers online (because WWE was in the UK the show was technically not broadcast live) or the tweets coming in throughout the night. And while the show was not spectacular by any means, it was fun and entertaining enough that I am glad I waited (and stayed up well past my bedtime to watch it, something I am regretting sitting here at work today).

WWE Raw kicked off with Paul Heyman in the ring reading an e-mail from Triple H apparently noting that The Game did not make the trip to Europe because of his injuries. Bust just as Heyman was insulting Triple H for not being there, calling him a “gutless coward,” Triple H’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring to confront Heyman. Triple H says that he lied in his e-mail and asks Heyman to tell Brock Lesnar that he accepts the challenge for a steel cage match at Extreme Rules before hitting Heyman with a Pedigree. So Extreme Rules will feature the third match between Triple H and Lesnar and with Lesnar’s record at a paltry 1-2 since his return to the WWE last year, either he has to win or he should just void the rest of his contract and walk away now because he would not be able to be booked as an “unstoppable monster” from that point on.

The other highlight of the night was The Undertaker’s first match on Raw in over three years and most likely his last match ever in the United Kingdom given that he rarely travels within the US these days, let alone overseas. Before the match, there was a hilarious segment backstage with Tag Team Champions Kane and Daniel Bryan, with Bryan wanting to know where Undertaker was and for Kane to call him so they could go over diagrams for their match against The Shield and Kane explaining that Undertaker doesn’t exactly carry a cell phone and begging Bryan not to try and hug him during the match. The champions were then attacked by The Shield and when the six-man tag team match started The Undertaker was by himself, but Kane and Bryan eventually made their way to the ring and the match was officially on. As you would expect the match was spectacular, with Undertaker hitting all of his classic spots and the other five Superstars all doing their thing (watching Undertaker square off against rookies Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and even Roman Reigns was like a dream match). In the, while Undertaker and Kane were busy dealing with Rollins and Reigns, Ambrose rolled up Bryan for the win after Bryan missed a flying headbutt off the top rope. For The Shield to pick up such a huge win over a legendary Superstar like The Undertaker, even though Bryan technically took the pin, is a huge step in the right direction for Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns.

In a backstage segment with AJ Lee, Dolph Ziggler talked about how he loved his World Heavyweight Championship and how great it would be if AJ were the Divas Champion as well (foreshadowing a match later in the night). Vickie Guerrero interrupted to announce that if Ziggler was unable to defeat Chris Jericho in their match later on, then the triple threat match between Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger for the world title at Extreme Rules would become a fatal fourway with Jericho added in. Unfortunately, this gave away the result to the match before it even started because Jericho is going back to being a part-time performer and there is no way he would be added to the world title match at the next PPV, but on the bright side it meant that Ziggler got a rare win, and over one of the top Superstars on the roster at that. As for the match itself, it was no surprise that it was by far the best one of the night, made all the more sweeter when Ziggler pinned Jericho for the win (granted it was after Fandango’s music started playing, distracting Jericho long enough for Ziggler to hit the Zig Zag, despite the fact that Fandango never appeared). Later in the night, Fandango (with his new dancer, NXT Diva Summer Rae) had a match against hometown hero William Regal, which Fandango easily won. After the match, Fandango and Summer were celebrating and dancing at the top of the ramp when Jericho attacked Fandango from behind and three him off the stage and then proceeded to woo Summer into dancing with him as an irate and hurt Fandango looked on.

The end of the show featured a verbal exchange between Ryback and Mick Foley, who had some choice words for Ryback in a backstage interview and, as a result, was called out by Ryback later in the night. It had been announced online earlier in the day that John Cena would defend the WWE Championship against Ryback at Extreme Rules (yay) so the onus behind Foley’s comments was that Ryback had not earned a shot at the title and shouldn’t have spent his entire promo last week complaining about how no one helped him when he was repeatedly being attacked by The Shield (I agree). Ryback retorted by insulting the fans and Cena but between his pre-recorded promo last week and the being just verbally abused by Foley last night, it is clear that the WWE is (unsuccessfully) trying to force Ryback down our throats as a heel and, for some reason, are desparate for it to work. Fortunately for us non-Ryback fans it won’t last long as there is no way Cena loses the title just five weeks after winning it after not holding it for nearly a year. Anyway, Ryback gets angry and makes a move to attack Foley but Cena comes out for the save and as the two of them are staring each other down, The Shield make their way to the ring. At first, Cena leaves Ryback to fend for himself, just as Ryback did to Cena last week, but Cena finally gets in the ring with a steel chair to attack The Shield and then hits Ryback with an Attitude Adjustment to end the show.

Here are my thoughts on the rest of WWE Raw:

A week after inexplicably losing the United States Championship to glorified mid-card jobber Kofi Kingston (who did not even appear on Raw this week), Antonio Cesaro lost to R-Truth in a fairly quick match last night. So after holding the title for over 200 days, Cesaro then went on to not appear at Wrestlemania, not be involved in any feud or storyline leading up to Wrestlemania, lose the title the week before he returns to his home continent and then lose a singles match to rarely seen Superstar R-Truth. All this coming from one of the best wrestlers in all of wrestling today (check out his matches as Claudio Castagnoli and as part of the Kings of Wrestling tag team in Ring of Honor). Sigh.

On the same day that the WWE announced a new reality show on E! featuring the WWE Divas, the WWE Divas had a battle royal match to determine the #1 contender for the Divas Championship. Unfortunately, while I should be happy that the Divas were featured on TV at all, let alone as part of the beginning of an actual storyline actually centered around the title, the match was a debacle (although the ending was exactly what I hoped for). First of all, the “battle royal” only featured five Divas – AJ Lee, Layla, Tamina Snuka, Naomi and Aksana. Not only did this show how weak and thin the Divas Division is, but the winner was made obvious since Divas Champion Kaitlyn and AJ Lee already have a feud stemming back to their days on NXT. And furthermore, where were the rest of the Divas. It was announced that the Bella Twins had been barred from the match as a result of cheating to win last week, which is stupid because Superstars and Divas cheat to win all the time and are never barred from future matches. There is a rumor online that Rosa Mendes was sent home from the trip for being intoxicated, but even if that is true, where was Natalya Neidhart, Alicia Fox and even Naomi’s partner Cameron? Of those three, only Natalya would be worth having in the ring, but at least there would have been more than five Divas in the ring. Frankly, it was pathetic, and it just goes to show how badly the WWE needs to call up some of the Divas down in NXT and rebuild the division from scratch (and not sign supermodels, actresses and singers who have no wrestling background or experience). As for the match itself, AJ got kicked in the head early on and was supposedly knocked unconscious, but when it came down to just her and Layla and Layla tried to drag and lift AJ out of the ring, AJ suddenly woke up and threw Layla out of the ring for the win. Now that AJ is the #1 contender for the title, I just pray that a feud between her and Kaitlyn is given the time and energy it needs to develop and that is results in multiple matches between the two before AJ ultimately wins the title (while I LOVE Kaitlyn as the champion, it makes a lot of sense for Ziggler and AJ to both be champions at the same time, harking back to when Triple H and Stephanie McMahon held titles at the same time).

Big E Langston quickly defeated Zack Ryder, which would usually not even be worth mentioning except for the fact that Ryder posted a very cryptic video on YouTube yesterday that was supposed to announce the return of his web show but instead had him act disgusted with himself and throw his merchandise at the camera. If this is the beginning of a Zack Ryder heel turn I am all for it.

Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai) and Team Rhodes Scholars (Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow) squared off in two singles match last night, with Sandow first beating Clay after a distraction from Rhodes and then, as a result of the distraction, later in the night Tensa faced and defeated Rhodes.

Riley’s Corner With Riley Ross Welcome back to Riley’s Corner where I break down each segment

Riley’s Corner

With Riley Ross

Welcome back to Riley’s Corner where I break down each segment and match on RAW. Tonight we are live from London, England. On the commentary side of the house we have the affable Michael Cole, humorous Jerry Lawler and the dull as dishwater JBL. Seriously they are dropping the ball by having JBL do commentary, I would rather hear Johnny Ace read from the phone book.

Paul Heyman is in the ring to kick off the show. Apparently the zoo wouldn’t let Brock travel to Europe for safety reasons. A recap is shown of Lesnar attacking 3MB. Oh what a bad ass taking on the three helpless little lasses. Why does Lesnar get to call the shots on his next match with Triple H? He lost the last time punk ass pussy. Heyman says he is looking forward to Triple H’s response but he isn’t there tonight. He is going to read an email that he received from Triple H. He says that he will give his answers next week due to his injuries from WrestleMania 29. Heyman goes on to run his pathetic mouth about Triple H’s lack of a manhood. Triple H’s music hits and the he comes out. You better run you walrus looking moronic twit or Trips will make you his little bitch. Trips said that the email was a lie. He leans in and said to tell Lesnar he accepts as he delivers a pedigree to that deep fried turkey titted walrus looking chump. Come on Triple H, can’t you do it one more time? What a fucking kick off for RAW!!!!!!!!

R-Truth vs. Antonio Cesaro—Michael Cole dancing along to R-Truth’s rapping was cute. Hearing Cesaro yodel was not so cute. If I wanted my ear drums shattered I would rather listen to certain relatives preach. Match starts off with Cesaro knocking Truth down. He delivers a clothesline and follows it up with a stomp. He then hits Truth with a knee. Truth showing why you shouldn’t count him out of the game as he gives Cesaro a right hand and then plants him face first in the mat. Truth gets a two count pin. R-Truth gets the pin.

The Shield arrives via a helicopter and is driven to the stadium. They have a match with the Undertaker, Kane and Daniel Bryan.

Brodus Clay vs. Damien Sandow- Both men’s tag partners are ringside. Sandow goes for a side headlock and Brodus goes to charge at him but Damien moves. Clay delivers a brutal clothesline followed up by devastating headbutts. Clay has Sandow in the corner punching him. He goes to smoosh him but Sandow kicks him. Nice move from Sandow as he slams Brodus Clay down. He delivers the Elbow of Disdain. He goes for the pin but Clay kicks out. Sandow has the reverse chin lock locked in but Clay gets out of the hold. He throws Sandow in the corner and delivers the splash and then Clay gets distracted by Rhodes and Sandow rolls him up for the win.

A recap of Dolph Ziggler cashing in the MITB briefcase is shown. As if we don’t know that he was the World Heavyweight Champion.

Dolph is shown talking and flirting with his title. AJ calls him ZigglyPuff. He tells AJ that she needs to have her own title. They make disparaging remarks about Kaitlyn and tell Big E to get lost. Here comes Brad and Vickie to interrupt. She says that if he doesn’t win against Jericho tonight, he will not be in a triple threat match at Extreme Rules but in a Fatal fourway match.

A recap is shown of CM Punk walking out of the arena last week. Hope to see you back in the WWE stronger and meaner than ever.

The Shield is shown backstage. Fuck, I love Dean Ambrose and his crazy ass expressions. All three men are talented in their own right but Ambrose is my favorite. They are cutting a promo on the Undertaker. They are saying that they are the judge, jury and executioner. I believe in the Shield, do you?

Chris Jericho vs. Dolph Ziggler—If Ziggler doesn’t win, then his match at Extreme Rules will be turned into a Fatal FourWay. Ziggler doesn’t impress me by his ass wiggle. Sorry if he wants to impress me than he should do the touch up on his hair. He is accompanied to the ring by AJ and Big E. They lock it up and struggle for control. Jericho goes for a quick rollup but Ziggler maneuvers out of it. Jericho has him in a side headlock and Ziggler fights his way out of it. Y2J goes for the reverse chin lock and then follows it up with a drop kick. Side headlock again and Ziggler uses the ropes to push Jericho off of him. He goes to the outside to get a kiss from AJ but Jericho does a baseball slide into Ziggler causing him to crash face first into the guard rail. NEVER turn your back on Jericho. Back from commercial and Ziggler is in charge, while the referee isn’t looking, Big E hits Jericho. Ziggler goes for a pin but Jericho kicks out. Ziggler delivers brutal kicks to Jericho, and then follows up with an elbow drop. Jericho is chopping Ziggler and goes crashing out of the ring. They need to eject Big E from ringside. Ziggler helps Jericho into the ring and goes for the pin but Jericho once again kicks out. Jericho almost had him with a back slide pin but Ziggler wiggled his way out of it. He delivers a clothesline and now the sleeper hold is locked in by Ziggler. Jericho delivers a back drop and then gets thrown over the rope, he goes to the top rope and delivers an ax smash. He goes for the walls of Jericho but Ziggler counters. Jericho kicks him in the head and helps him to his feet. Fuck yeah Jericho is on fire but AJ distracts the referee so Big E can hit Jericho. Jericho kicks out of the pin much to the dismay of Ziggler. The champ is throwing punches until the ref breaks them up. Ziggler has the sleeper hold locked in again and Jericho is on the verge of collapse. Oh there he goes he gets back to his feet and does another back drop. Ziggler planted him with a DDT that should have ended Jericho but he kicked out again. Jericho goes for the Lion Sault but gets hit with Ziggler’s knees. Another kickout from Jericho. Jericho goes for the Walls of Jericho but Ziggler pushes him away. Ziggler gets caught up on the top rope and a superplex connected and both men are down. Jericho goes for the pin and Ziggler kicks out. Jericho hits the codebreaker and Ziggler breaks the count by planting his foot on the rope. AJ goes for the distraction again but Jericho knocks out Big E. Walls of Jericho are locked in but he gets distracted by the music of Fawndawngo. Ziggler hits the Zig Zag and scores the win.

I don’t like Ziggler as champion. There I said it, I was getting tired of being fake and phoney. Impress me by winning it when someone isn’t injured and or having others do your dirty work. There now I feel better for saying that.

Josh Matthews is interviewing Mick Foley. Foley is very wise during his interview. He seems to favor John Cena in his upcoming match with Ryback at Extreme Rules.

Tensai vs. Cody Rhodes—They lock it up and Cody is using his quickness to his advantage. SO far he has delivered two quick jabs to Tensai. Holy shit Tensai is holding Rhodes upside down for a while before slamming him to the mat. Again Rhodes is using his quickness as he delivers a neckbreaker to Tensai. He nailed the Disaster kick to the back of Tensai’s head. He goes for the pin but Tensai kicks out. Rhodes is kicking the shit out of the tattooed monster. Thank you Cameron and Naomi for making this match better. Rhodes gets a drop kick in before slamming into the ring post shoulder first. Tensai is demolishing Rhodes. For a big man Tensai is agile as fuck. He is going to kill Rhodes. Sandow tries to distract him but Brodus takes him out. Tensai scores the win.

Kane and Daniel Bryan are shown in the locker room talking about the Undertaker. DB is worried about going over strategy for their match with the Shield. Kane tells him not to worry that the Brothers of Destruction has it covered. Kane is telling him not to hug the Undertaker or show him the diagrams of their match. They are attacked by the Shield.

Josh Matthews is interviewing Ryback. He starts off by asking Ryback to explain his actions about watching Cena get his ass kicked by the Shield. He said that he was attacked by the Shield more times that he can remember. He challenges Foley to have a ‘discussion’ with him in the middle of the ring.

Big E. Langston vs. Zack Ryder—Rest in peace Zack Ryder, you are about to go to jobber heaven. Big E slams him down and is delivering brutal punches to his midsection. Ryder gets in a boot but Big E is delivering knees to Ryder’s kidneys. He squashes Zack in the corner and Ryder goes to the top rope and delivers a flying drop kick. UH OH Big E’s nipples are showing and he delivers the Big Ending and pins Ryder. I think Ryder should have learned to keep his mouth shut and maybe they will let him job to Hornswoggle or Santino. Keep whining Zacko and you will face the angry giants. I quit begging for them to give Big E a bigger uniform. I have a better chance of a certain slacker relative getting and maintaining a job before that happens.

Undertaker/Daniel Bryan/Kane vs. The Shield—Here comes the Shield into the ring to attack the Undertaker and here comes Kane and Daniel Bryan to even up the numbers. They quickly clear the ring of the Shield. Dean Ambrose and Daniel Bryan start off the match and DB has Ambrose locked into the corner throwing punches and a vicious kick to the gut of Ambrose. DB tags in Kane and Kane starts off with a dropkick and a quick pin attempt. He is throwing hard punches to Ambrose and here comes the Taker throwing punches and owning Ambrose’s ass. He goes for the pin but Ambrose kicks out. Taker tries to go to the top rope but Ambrose stops him. He does it this time and he flies down on Ambrose. The crowd is chanting ‘you still got it’, bitches please he never lost it. Here comes Reigns and he is getting owned by his opponents. The Shield finally have the advantage of the match as they work together to destroy Kane. This is why the Shield can work long term they aren’t egotistical or trying to struggle for power within their faction. Rollins goes to fly at Kane from the top rope but Kane punches him midair. Here comes DB and he is showing why he is a kick ass kind of guy as he delivers a flurry of kicks and punches to Rollins. Rollins goes flying out of the ring and he landed kind of hard. DB does the flying headbutt and shoves Rollins into the guard rail. He goes from the top rope and delivers a Missile Dropkick. He goes to charge at Rollins but no one was there. Both men are down and both factions are struggling for control. Back from commercial and Reigns is dominating DB. He goes for a pin attempt but DB kicks out. Here comes Ambrose with vicious and brutal head butts to DB. He is keeping Goat Man away from his partners which is an awesome strategy. He does the Surfboard and makes the tag to Rollins who launches himself at DB. Here comes Reigns and DB tags in the Undertaker. He is kicking ass and taking names. Holy shit he is proving why he is the Phenom. He has Ambrose and Rollins ready for a chokeslam and here comes Reigns with a fantastic Spear. He goes for the pin but the Dead Man kicks out. Taker chokeslams Rollins and goes for the pin but Rollins kicks out. Here comes Kane with a asidewalk slam and follows up with an ax handle smash from the top rope. Out of nowhere Rollins delivers a kick and here comes Ambrose. He flies off the top rope to get caught by Kane and chokeslammed. DB goes to the top rope and gets pulled down by Reigns. He goes back to the top rope to deliver the flying head butt but Ambrose rolls out of the way. Ambrose scores the win. Taker doesn’t seem happy with their win as he glares at them.

John Cena and Mick Foley are talking about Ryback in the locker room. Cena is telling Foley that he shouldn’t get in the ring with Ryback. He thinks it’s a mistake. Cena hands him a steel chair for protection.

Fawndawngo vs. William Regal—Dude, forget this ballroom dancing bullshit gimmick and go back to being Johnny Curtis. William Regal shows off his slick dancing moves and delivers some brutal punches. Cha-cha boy delivers a beatdown and pins William Regal. Jericho comes out and throws Fanbitcho off of the ramp and then he dances with Summer Rae.

AJ vs. Tamina vs. Aksana vs. Cameron vs. Naomi vs. the Bella Twits vs. Layla—The winner of the match is the number one contender for the Divas Championship. Kaitlyn is on commentary to scope out her competition. We learn from Michael Cole that the Bella twins have been disqualified from this match. Tamina is owning everyone and AJ runs up and jumps into her arms. Tamina kicks AJ in the face and hopefully that will be the end of AJ. The only ones who deserve it are Tamina, Cameron, Naomi and Layla. Naomi delivers the Rear View to Tamina. Naomi is out and out goes Tamina. Its now between Layla and AJ. AJ kicks Layla over the bottom rope and wins the shot at the title. What the fucking fuck? This is what is wrong with the WWE divas division. You give the title to ‘divas’ that don’t fucking deserve it.

Mick Foley comes down to the ring to have a talk, confront Ryback. He starts off by saying that he didn’t come out here with the intentions of having a confrontation with anyone. I love you Mick Foley but this is one time you should stay out of it. Cena doesn’t need you to come to his defense, allegedly he can fight his own battles. Oh wait breaking news, he whines and cries his way out of trouble. This is who you want to be your champion one that brings up his divorce to get over the Rock and then pitches a fit when Ryback makes a tweet about it? Fucking hypocrite, that’s what Cena is. Foley is trying to impart his wisdom on Ryback but Ryback screams at him to shut up. He says he wants to be the WWE Champion, I kind of see where he is coming from. Foley clutches the chair like he is going to start swinging at Ryback’s head. They are getting ready to brawl and here comes Super Pussy Cena to save the day. Dude it was a decent show until your crybaby ass comes bouncing out. The Shield’s music hits and Cena stands on the apron outside the ring. Cena is getting ready to make a run for it and leave Ryback to face the Shield all by his lonesome. The Shield surround the ring and they keep eyeballing Cena and here comes pussy ass bitch to save the day with a chair. I hope they fucking break you in half. The Shield leaves and Cena delivers an AA to Ryback. I AM PROUD OF THE FACT THAT I AM NOT A CENA MARK. He is so conceited and egotistical that he will not put anyone over. He is a backstabbing, talentless douchebag whose time is up.

Match of the night goes to the Shield, Taker, Daniel Bryan and Kane. This match was action packed and fucking amazing. If you think otherwise, then you need to have your eyes examined.

The WTF moment goes to any skit that involves John Cena. He doesn’t deserve to have the title. So you little Rock haters sit down and shut the fuck up. You always wanna bitch that the Rock didn’t deserve the belt well neither does your precious golden boy. Also second mention goes to AJ for winning the title shot. She doesn’t deserve it. Holy hell WWE stop shoving her and noodle head down our fucking throats.

In closing this was one of the best RAWS ever. The crowd was on fire and wasn’t shy about letting the WWE know what they liked and what they hated. A tip of the hat to the Shield for putting on excellent promos and a match. Make sure you all check out http://www.blogtalkradio.com/the-shark-attack-live. We’ll be airing Tuesday at 10pm ET Call in at (347) 945-6363.

I hope WWE writers are reading this. I just finished watching The Shield defeat Team Hell No and Undertaker. I also watched Mark Henry and Big Show defeat Randy Orton and Sheamus on SmackDown. SO… here’s how I see these seemingly unrelated topics play out as one epic storyline.

So it’ll start one night on Raw and The Shield attacks Undertaker who was delivering a promo to the Hounds of Justice. Undertaker ends up getting injured from the attack and is taken out for a few months. This intensifies the rivalry between The Shield and Team Hell No, for obvious reasons. Meanwhile, Sheamus and Orton are still battling Big Show and Mark Henry but also having to fend off The Shield. During one such occasion, Mark Henry and Big Show have beat down on Orton and Sheamus and The Shield’s music hits. Show and Henry leave the ring and The Shield attacks The Celtic Vipers. BOOM! The corners explode and Team Hell No comes to the aid of Orton and Sheamus. The Shield is in trouble with no escape route in sight until Big Show and Mark Henry run back out and help The Shield take out Team Hell No, Sheamus, and Randy Orton, hitting them with chairs and slamming them through the announce table. The Shield then goes on to let Big Show and Mark Henry join them and become honorable Shield members. Now The Shield looks invincible. But then, around the time of Survivor Series, a match is made; Team Shield (Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Big Show, Mark Henry) vs. Team WWE (Kane, Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, Randy Orton, John Cena) after months of Team WWE being jumped and injured at the hands of The Sheild. But two weeks away from Survivor Series, The Shield strikes again and takes out Cena. One week later, Team WWE is surrounded in the ring by The Shield when the lights go out and The Undertaker’s music hits. Undertaker appears in the ring and a brawl is on, from which The Shield retreats. Now it’s official; Team Shield (Ambrose, Rollins, Reigns, Henry, Big Show) vs. Team WWE (Bryan, Kane, Orton, Sheamus, Undertaker) in a Ten-Man Elimination Tag Team Match… possibly the only match The Shield has a legitimate chance of losing.

I wish I could say who the winners would be but unfortunately I cannot. It’s a pretty even match in my mind. How about everyone else?
