Gagné hier sur Yahoo acutions!, un Boulder Dash Sharp X1 (version cassette), sera bientôt dans ma collection. Inutile de vous dire, que cette version est ultra rare. Je ne l’avais encore jamais vu en 4 ans de surveillance sur Y! Il me reste encore quelques versions rares à trouver au japon comme : Sharp X1 (5p 1/4), Fujitsu FM7/77 (versions 3p 1/2 et 5p 1/4), Hitachi S1. Encore du travail pour les mois et les années à venir. Les autres jeux seront disponibles à l’échange ;-)

Aujourd’hui, se terminait deux enchères sur yahoo! auctions, deux Commodore MAX en boite et neufs !!

le 1er a fini à 28 500 yens soit 227 euros

le 2nd, lui a fini à 33 833 yens soit 270 euros, ce qui est curieux, car cette enchère a fini quelques minutes plus tard

Dommage car j’aurai du gagner les 2 avec les montants que j’avais donné… arggg

Yahoo! US Auctions has finally closed down. This is a real shame for sellers wanting a free alternative to selling stuff on eBay.

Who will take their place?

Well I should imagine both eBid.net and uBid.com will rise to the challenge in an attempt to rival eBay but time will tell. Stay tuned.

yahooauc.pngАгентство Reuters сообщает, что сервис Yahoo Auctions будет закрыт в США и Канаде, начиная с 16 июня, а новые аукционы не будут приниматься уже с 3 июня. Сайты аукционов в Гонг-Конге, Сингапуре и Тайване продолжат свою штатную работу. Это уже второе закрытие сервиса Yahoo, которое было объявлено в этим месяце – на прошлой неделе было подтверждено, что также закрывается сервис Yahoo Photos.

В случае с Yahoo Photos, пользователям предоставят другой аналогичный сервис, которым владеет Yahoo, Flickr, впрочем, как и многие сторонние сервисы. Закрытие данного сервиса разрешило конфликт сосуществования двух аналогичных продуктов и помогло компании сфокусироваться лишь на одном из них. Аукционы же закрываются по другой причине – они просто не могут привлечь столько же внимания, как eBay и другие конкуренты. Это также показывает, что Yahoo решительно настроена на фокусировании лишь на свои ключевые бизнесы (быстрорастущие и прибыльные).

Графики Comscore вполне объясняют причину. Ebay просто доминирует на этом рынке:

Unfortunately, Yahoo! Auctions has announced that it is to turn off it’s US and Canada auction bidding service as of 16th June 2007.

The last day to sell an item is 3rd June 2007.

This is a shame as Yahoo! Auctions proved to be an extremely popular auction site for people who preferred not to use eBay.

We will have to wait and see where eBay’s next competition comes from – will it be uBid.com or eBid.net or will the classifieds rise and rule the used/second-hand markets?
