<description><![CDATA[Prior to Round 9 of the PETRONAS AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship that will be held on December 5]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p><a href="http://malaysiancubprix2009.wordpress.com/files/2009/11/ych_9451.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2138" title="Expert" src="http://malaysiancubprix2009.wordpress.com/files/2009/11/ych_9451.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="311" /></a>Prior to Round 9 of the PETRONAS AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship that will be held on December 5 and 6, the Sepang International Circuit (South) will be open for testing on Thursday of the race week. It is scheduled to take place on December 3, 2009.</p>
<p><!--more-->There will be two test sessions for the day. The first will session kick off at 10am till 1pm while the second will begin at 2pm till 5pm. The fee is fixed at RM100 per bike for one session and is open to all the Cub Prix teams and privateer riders.</p>
<p>Unlike other venues in the Cub Prix calendar where the layout is narrow, more focused on technical skills and designed to match the capacities of ‘kapcai’ machines, Sepang (South) is intended more for machines with greater abilities, power, durability and speed.</p>
<p>Therefore the set up required to master this circuit is completely different from the ones used by teams for other venues on the race calendar- hence this is why the promoter, Safe Aim Mutual Sdn Bhd (SAM) is organizing the test session.</p>
<p>Mr. Ron Hogg, Promotions Director for SAM encourages Cub Prix teams to take full advantage of the opportunity given. He says it is utmost essential to make sure each and every element of man and machine is reviewed and tested before the race because the Championship is now at its crucial and final phase.</p>

<p>“Even though, Sepang track is not new to all of us as we have been racing year in and year out but I hope the teams and riders will take the testing session to improve on their bike set-up. One of the challenges I foresee is the weather. In Round 5 that was held in the month of July this season, we were racing under the scorching sun but this time around, we might be racing under a cooler environment as it is rainy season now.”</p>
<p>“Therefore, I believe the test session will not only boost the chances of bagging good results but it will also help ensure the machine set-up is in top form. Furthermore, both the Expert and Wira epg titles are still wide open and I am sure the riders who are in the running for the title chase will want to collect as many points in Sepang,” added Ron.</p>

<p>MENJELANG saingan Pusingan 9 siri Kejuaraan Cub Prix Malaysia AAM PETRONAS yang berlangsung pada 5 dan 6 Disember ini,penganjur perlumbaan Safe Aim Mutual Sdn Bhd (SAM) membuka peluang untuk pasukan menguji jentera di Litar Antarabangsa Sepang (Trek Selatan).</p>
<p>Sesi ujian sehari yang diadakan pada 3 Disember depan itu akan dibahagikan kepada dua sesi. Sesi ujian pertama akan bermula pada 10 pagi hingga 1 petang manakala sesi ujian kedua bermula pada 2 hingga 5 petang. Setiap jentera akan dikenakan yuran sebanyak RM100 dan ia terbuka kepada semua pelumba Cub Prix dan pelumba persendirian.</p>
<p>Berbeza dengan venue yang disenaraikan dalam kalendar Cub Prix, venue Sepang (Trek Selatan) amat berbeza kerana ia memerlukan setiap pasukan melipat gandakan kelebihan jentera seperti kuasa, ketahanan, kepantasan dan pelbagai lagi.</p>
<p>Menurut Pengarah Promosi SAM, Ron Hogg, dia berharap semua pasukan Cub Prix akan mempergunakan peluang keemasan ini sepenuhnya. Sesi ujian ini adalah persiapan terakhir buat pasukan menguji pelumba dan jentera sebelum perlumbaan sebenar bermula. Tambahan pula, pada peringkat ini, persaingan semakin sengit kerana Kejuaraan kini telah memasuki fasa terakhir.</p>
<p>“Sekali pun, trek Sepang bukanlah asing, saya berharap setiap pasukan dan pelumba mengambil peluang sesi ujian ini untuk membuat penyelarasan yang terbaik pada jentera. Antara cabaran getir yang saya ramal adalah dari faktor cuaca. Pada saingan Pusingan 5, Julai lepas, keadaan cuaca cukup baik namun kini jika kita teliti keadaan cuaca ketika ini, kemungkinan besar saingan akan berlangsung dalam cuaca buruk.</p>
<p>“Oleh itu,saya percaya, sesi ujian ini bukan hanya membuka peluang setiap pelumba dan pasukan memperolehi keputusan yang baik tetapi juga membantu mereka menyediakan penyelarasan terbaik pada masa perlumbaan sebenar.</p>
<p>“Dalam pada itu, saingan merebut mahkota kelas Expert dan Wira epg masih terbuka. Saya yakin pelumba yang mendahalui carta keseluruhan  pasti mahu mengutip sebanyak mungkin mata Kejuaraan di Sepang bagi merealisasikan harapan mereka untuk bergelar juara,” tambah Ron.</p>

Sites noticiosos dão conta que a BMW vai participar do WTCC do ano que vem com apenas dois carros.  Os dois carros seriam entreges a equipe RBM e contaria com os serviços de Andy Priaulx e do brasileiro Augusto Farfus Júnior.</p>
<p>Com relação aos outros times que correram com os carros germânicos neste ano, ROAL (Team Italy-Spain) e a Schnitzer, deverão participar de outros campeonatos em outras categorias. O Team Italy-Spain passaria para o campeonato italiano de Superstars e a equipe Schitzer poderia talvez participar do campeonato da FIA GT. Essa BMW&#8230;</p>
<p>E a crise continua varrendo os empregos da área. A Yamaha ameaça fechar as portas da sua fábrica, que fica situada em Lesmo, na Itália. A crise industrial que atualmente atinge a região da Lombardia, onde está localizada Lesmo, é grave. Além de se dedicar à produção de motos de rua, a fábrica da Yamaha na cidade, criada há quase 20 anos, acolhe ainda a divisão de corridas, destinada a equipamentos de competição. Por isso, um grupo de mais de 60 funcionários pedem ajuda ao piloto da casa, Valentino Rossi. Com a palavra o grupo:</p>

E seu empresário já afirmou que Schumacher esta bem fisicamente, que pode voltar a pilotar e ganhar corridas. E eles estão sempre fazendo propaganda, avisando que todos nós ficaremos surpresos com a dupla de pilotos.</p>

<p>Mick Barton’s Norvin special was one of the stars in the bikes section at the Classic Motor Show, held at the NEC in November 2009, reports Alastair Walker.</p>
<p>Mick had a Norvin when he was a teenager in the 60s, but back then he couldn’t afford to customise the bike with the very best performance parts. So spending the last eight years, `on and off,’ building this ultimate cafe racer Norvin was a real labour of love.</p>
<p>“The hardest part was sourcing an original Vincent engine,” said Mick, “I could have used a re-manufactured motor, but I eventually found a 1955 V-twin and then had it stripped, with bigger valves, hotter cams, low comp pistons fitted, plus GP 32mm carbs and a custom made set of exhaust pipes. The bike really goes well now. I think it’s realised the full potential of the bike, yet sticks with the old cafe racer styling of the 60s.”</p>
<p>Other mods on the bike include Ceriani suspension, many polished and chromed parts, a Yamaha V-Max fly screen and Yamaha TZ spoked wheels. The striking Norvin, finished in Audi orange, took `Best Cafe Racer&#8217; in the concours awards, presented by the Ace Cafe London, at the Classic Motor Show 2009.</p>

E&#8217; la seconda vittoria stagionale per lui sopo il successo di Laguna Seca; vittoria sicuramente resa più semplice dal grossolano errore di Casey <strong>Stoner </strong>nel giro di allineamento, nel quale ha esagerato con il gas a gomme fredde, cadendo e dicendo addio ai sogni di (probabilissima) vittoria.</span></span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0;"><span style="font-family:Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:x-small;">Durante le qualifiche Stoner aveva messo in riga tutti e tutti si aspettavano che anche in gara Casey potesse fare un altro sport; dopo la <strong>caduta </strong>nel warm up lap però la vittoria è tornata in gioco e Pedrosa è stato il più lesto di tutti nell&#8217;approfittare di ciò.<br />
In partenza Dani non si fa pregare e parte a fionda mentre Rossi e Lorenzo vengono sopravanzati da <strong>Elias</strong>; i due yamahisti impiegano un paio di giri nel risorpassarlo ma intanto Pedrosa è già scappato.<br />
Il suo ritmo è insostenibile sia per Rossi che per <strong>Lorenzo </strong>il quale, dopo un rischio in uscita di curva, salta sulla moto e sbatte violentemente sul serbatoio andando per un attimo in confusione.<br />
Una volta passato il male Jorge riprende il ritmo e si riavvicina a <strong>Rossi </strong>ma Valentino riesce a rispondere e a garantirsi cosi la seconda posizione.</span></span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0;"><span style="font-family:Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:x-small;">Dietro a Pedrosa Rossi e Lorenzo la gara ha visto un paio di lotte interessanti; la prima quella tra <strong>Edwards</strong> e <strong>Hayden </strong>per la quarta posizione e la seconda la risalita nel gruppo di Ben <strong>Spies</strong>, Campione del Mondo Superbike qui a bordo della Yamaha M1.<br />
Edwards per concludere in campionato davanti a <strong>Dovizioso </strong>doveva assolutamente raccogliere un risultato di rilievo e proprio come ha detto lui &#8220;arrivare primo degli umani&#8221;; Hayden nonostante ami Valencia non è riuscito a tenere il passo di Colin ma ha comunque corso una buona gara giungendo quinto precedendo Toni Elias, disoccupato di lusso per il 2010.<br />
<strong>Spies </strong>invece, dopo il nono posto in griglia, è partito cauto, prendendo il ritmo a mano a mano che i giri passavano e le lotte con i colleghi si facevano sempre più intense.<br />
E&#8217; riuscito a sopravanzare piloti vecchi e nuovi, fino a riprendere e a fulminare con una bellissima staccata Dovizioso, conquistando cosi la settima piazza finale.<br />
La sensazione è che ci troviamo di fronte ad un grande pilota, uno di quelli che nel 2010 dirà la sua nella lotta per il podio in svariate occasioni, anche se per pensare di infilarsi fra i <strong>fantastici quattro</strong> forse è ancora un pò presto.</span></span></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>It&#8217;s like the old saying goes, &#8220;Ya gotta crawl, before ya walk.&#8221;.  While I&#8217;m not an absolute beginner with the guitar, it has been a while, and in the past I&#8217;ve <em>played around</em> with guitars, rather than trying to become a <em>guitar player</em>.  However, I plan on changing that in the weeks, months and years to come, and it all starts with getting a decent guitar on which to learn.  Based on reputation and price, I&#8217;ve chosen a Yamaha F325 Dreadnaught acoustic, picture here:<a href="http://reb67.wordpress.com/files/2009/11/yamaha-f325-160mf1.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-81" title="Yamaha F325 - 160MF" src="http://reb67.wordpress.com/files/2009/11/yamaha-f325-160mf1.jpg?w=300" alt="" width="300" height="125" /></a></p>
<p>The way I see it, if I can develop smooth, quick scales and chord changes on something like this, then the fingers will fly on a good electric.  In addition, most of the songs and styles I want to learn at first are best suited for the acoustic guitar.  But, once I&#8217;ve gotten to such a level &#8212; basic chords and chord changes done correctly and smoothly, and 2-3 different types of scales down pat &#8212; then I&#8217;ll get a decent electric to play.  The one I have my eye on at this point is the Epiphone SG Special in the next pic.</p>
<p><a href="http://reb67.wordpress.com/files/2009/11/epiphone-sg-special-170mf.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-82" title="Epiphone SG Special - 170MF" src="http://reb67.wordpress.com/files/2009/11/epiphone-sg-special-170mf.jpg?w=300" alt="" width="300" height="104" /></a>A lot of notable guitarists have used the (Gibson) SG over the years:  Most notably Angus Young of AC/DC, Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath, KK Downing and Glenn Tipton of Judas Priest, and even Duane Allman, among others.  The one time I ever sat and played one of these guitars I immediately wanted one.  It played very easily, had excellent tone, and the owner said he&#8217;d never sell it at any price because of his fondness for it.  That, along with a storied history of professional guitar virtuosos having preferred it, brought me to my decision.  However, an electric guitar without an amp is akin to a gun without ammo;  there&#8217;s no punch.  So, I shopped around and came up with the little gem pictured next:  The Peavey Vypyr 15w 1&#215;8.</p>

<p>Seems to me there&#8217;s no need for any other effects pedals at this point.  I&#8217;m figuring on learning at least 50 complete songs (down pat) before I upgrade from this gear to the next level.  But, when I do, I&#8217;ll be looking for a decent tube amp, a better guitar (probably an HSS Strat-style), and then some nice, true-bypass effects pedals. </p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Not entirely a crashing surprise, but it seems Erik Buell will be back in the business of making and selling of Buell 1125R-based race bikes and supplying competition use parts and servicing for them, all of which will be under license from Harley-Davidson, as well as offering technical support.</p>
<p>“I’m looking forward to helping Buell racers keep their bikes flying,” said Erik Buell. “We’ve got some exciting race development projects in the works and it will mean a lot to me personally to see Buell racers competing for wins and championships in the 2010 season and beyond.”</p>
<p>Buell President and COO Jon Flickinger also commented, “I’m pleased that Harley-Davidson is assisting Erik in establishing this business to continue supporting the racing efforts he has had so much passion for over the years. Harley-Davidson and the Buell Motorcycle Company will always be proud of their affiliation with Erik, and we wish him well in this new endeavor to support Buell racers.”</p>
<p>Erik Buell Racing will be based in East Troy, Wisconsin and will reportedly be staffed by Erik Buell and a veteran team of personnel.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, news also from the States suggests us Europeans will be able to look forward to a new FZ8, replacing the existing FZ6. Given the recent release of the fully faired XJ6 Diversion alongside the half faired and naked versions that appeared at the beginning of 2009, this move would prevent Yamaha having no less that five 600s competing for more or less the same market, as well as being better placed to take on the BMW F800 range, the Aprilia Shiver and the Triumph 675 and Street Triple. Oh, and probably charging more money for it, too.</p>
<p>Whether riders actually need an all-purpose middleweight that&#8217;s now bigger than the 750 superbike of yesteryear is another matter altogether. I might have to make a decision on whether to replace the trusty Hornet with an FZ6 sooner rather than later.</p>

Kalo merek lain mah, paling juga maennya matic ama bebek doank yang diurusin di Indonesia. Motor lakinya mungkin ada tapi udah JADUL&#8230;model mata picek and baju berubah? boleh juga&#8230; nice idea, tapi mesin dari zaman angkatan babe gue. wkwkwwk =P</p>
<p>Ditunggu HONDA, (biar lebih jelas merek yang disinggung&#8230;Hihihih) strategi di tahun 2010 buat ngadepin Yamaha. Masa HONDA mao gak berkutik kayak di MotoGP 2009 lagi? hahaha&#8230;=P</p>

Belum ada informasi resmi tentang semua-FZ8 Yamaha baru 2010, tampaknya bahwa model baru yang akan datang ditujukan untuk memperbaiki hal tersebut, mudah-mudahan dibuat dengan memakai mesin V-twin. hihihi =P</p>
