I totally love Orange Range!! I forgot to write about them before, but i love most of their songs so expect more recommendations about them!

Background:

Theyre a band that was formed in Okinawa in Japan. Theyre members include 3 vocalists, Hiroki (my fave member, the all rounder), Yamato (high vocals/notes) and Ryo (low vocals/nice rap). Naoto does the guitar and Yoh does the bass and they make a great team. They used to have drummer called Katchan who left (i think cause his pinky got damaged).

Their songs lean more towards pop/rock but theyre always really good! Some of my favourites are Hana, Locomotion, Kirikirimai, Shanghai Honey (featured in the nintendo Ds game Ouendan!!) etc and ill be linking them soon

OMG GO orange range!! What i like is theyre used to live performances and any band performance is good, but especially with Orange range. I mean they play their own music and sing their own songs, thats the epitome of music
Theres been some controversy about how their songs are made, such as plagiarism from other songs, but I dont mind that, ive heard plenty of songs that i think have been copied!

Últimamente, parece que mis ideas/pensamientos molestaran a las demás personas. Tanto en el MundoReal como en internet.

Reconozco que mis intentos de hacer menos monótona la vida diaria (a veces también les llamo “bromas”) pueden llegar a molestar a las personas, no porque sea ofensivo ni despectivo, más bien por el “sinsentido” de las mismos. No sé si soy el único que se ha sentido mal consigo mismo por no haber hecho algo que realmente quería, pero a raíz de ese tipo de eventos, decidí no suprimir mis pensamientos y actos, siempre y cuando estos no dañaran a nadie.

Por otro lado, y tras ponerme a pensar por unas horas, he notado un cierto parecido entre las personas a quienes mis comentarios pueden molestarles, mientras que otro grupo de personas con quienes interactúo no parece estar fastidiada por mis comentarios, le pregunté la otra vez a las personas cuya opinión es más importante para mí si le molestaba, y me dijeron que no, me respondieron que esa era mi forma de ser y ellos se sentían bien porque a veces digo cosas que nadie más se atreve a decir libremente, y admiraban eso. Por eso he decidido que a partir de ahora (y aunque desde hace unos días vengo llevándolo a cabo) solamente dirigiré mis “bromas”  a las personas que no muestran enfado o rechazo con mi manera de pensar, tanto en el MundoReal como en la red, espero que esto no cambie mi relación con las demás personas, aunque me dirija a ellos en un tono más formal.

Para terminar, quisiera compartir una frase de Yoh con ustedes,

- Hirofumi Araki’s movie with SuG’s Takeru is finally confirmed! Aswell as the rest of the cast! WHICH INCLUDES: Ookawa Genki, Ono Kento and Kiriyama Renn! …And some girl I don’t care about! The title for the movie which will be released in 2009 is “Beat Rock ★Love”. I am so excited for this! ;D Genki sure is getting together with those jrockers. <3

- Ohkuchi Kengo was in a recent drama called “Mendol”! Um, I watched some of it and I got a little…scared? Well, lets just say they’re not afraid to show boobs and very suggestive things…Well, fanservice is always good right?

- GIRAGIRA had finally started! It’s a pretty good drama in my opinion. Yuki Jutta and Igarashi Shunji are in this. Also! In one of the episodes, Matsumoto Hiroya is in it! He doesn’t really play a huge role or anything, I just happened to see him standing in the back. XD

- The practice for [MURAISM] has also started! This performance will feature YOH and Nemoto Masakazu(previously in JackJack with Katou Ryousuke).

- YOH!!! He got a haircut! :0 Oh my god~ Tachibana-buchoouuuuu~ Lol

- Juri…um…I THINK he dressed up for Halloween. I don’t know. There’s a scary picture of himself in his blog with some really funny face make-up. XD Lol At Least he’s spirited?

- The filming for ‘2 STEPS!’ has started~! Yay!!! More dancing I’m sure.

- Takagi Shinpei/Manpei’s birthday was last month! D’aaww you…cute twins you… <3

That’s all! And as for me…Well, it was Halloween! And I dressed up as Haruhiko. Haha, pretty cheap costume if you ask me but hey…It was the only thing I could think of! And the jacket only cost me $6.. XD Just fixed it up myself.

But my Halloween kind of sucked too. I went to a restaurant with Mina and some guy friends from school and I couldn’t get any signal on my phone inside the restaurant. So I didn’t get any calls or texts. And then I finally got signal and I had voice mails but no missed calls from my mom. So I called back and she started yelling at me. …yeah. She yelled at me when we got home too. She said I was lying and “omg who were those people!? Don’t lie to me!!”. And she accused me of turning my phone off( anybody that knows me, knows that I NEVER ever have my phone off) and stuff like that. I was ready to bite her head off! Why would I lie!! If she told me not to do it, why would I do it!? God, can’t she have more damn trust in me!? So I got to the point where I actually started crying. And I did. Right in front of Mina. >.>

She got mad at me the day before too. We were at my uncle’s house for a party and..well, mind the rest of you readers that aren’t students anymore, I go to school from 7:30AM to 3:00PM. So…I was really tired. Especially with a Chem and AP Human test on the same day. So it was about 10:30PM already and with Halloween the next day, I had alot to do when I got home. Clean my room since Mina was coming over, bake cupcakes for Halloween, do homework, finish my costume, etc. So I started getting all light headed and I felt like I was going to pass out from tiredness. But no. My mom thought I was complaining and started yelling at me. =_= Needless to say, it just made me even more angry and tired. I almost cried.

Man, I’m such a cry baby. XD If I get too stressed out I’ll start crying. Now with comps(finals) coming up this week, let’s hope I won’t cry anymore…

Oh one last thing before the icons. I started watching…Bloody Monday! WOOOO! It’s so good! Go watch it! ;D it’s about this high school kid who’s a hacker and his code name is “Falcon”. He works with the police and stuff. Gyaaa~ So good. I can’t wait for the next episode. Sato Takeru is in this aswell. It’s actually a manga…Which I started reading. Haha…

And finally, the icons. God I am such a noob at this. :< I just got bored and downloaded like 9032752905702 new brushes and gradients and I wanted to try them out…so…yeah. ;D

Yeah there’s more Touhou than anything else but…eh. I think my favorite is the Cirno one with the 9’s. XD I managed to download some brushes with that ‘9′ and it just screamed for a Cirno icon. Um alot of them are the same, I know. The only difference is the gradients or something…Blargh. Well, if you use them, I don’t really mind…Just don’t claim them as your own and I’m good. <3

Hey everyone! How’s it going? Lol, finally Mina blogged. By the way, yeah..her mom doesn’t know she shares this blog with me and she’s not allowed to have one(>.>) so that’s why she doesn’t post as much.

Hmm..Let’s start with the updates first!

Ikemen~:

- Genki!! He bought a Revoltech a few days ago…Gurren Lagann but I don’t know which one. I assume the Enki? But he said he played with it for hours and didn’t realize, so when he looked at the clock, he felt bad(for playing with it so long). XD

- AIRU joined the cast of ‘Harukanaru Toki no Naka de‘ with JURI who has previously been in it already. He will be playing the role of Akram (Akuramu).

- Katou Ryousuke, Nakagauchi Masataka, Furukawa Yuuta, and Miyano Mamoru are all going to be in a movie together called ‘2 STEPS!’ I don’t know anything about the movie except for those cast members..but judging from the title, it’ll be about dancing. Well..Ryou-chin, Masa, Yuuta and Mamo-chan are are good at dancing so… I want to see this. LOL Um, the rest of the cast is still unannounced I think…

- Kawakubo Yuuki will be in a new musical called…’Hiiro no Kakera‘. Which was a visual novel released in 2006. Yay! One of his fellow cast members is Kazunori Tani! He was with Yuuki-chan in Boys Love 2. Damn, I want to see this too.

- Umm..I’m not sure if I read this right but, in YOH’s blog a few days ago, JURI left a comment and…lol, wrote YOH’s name as YHO.(did he bother to check back? >.>)

- Igarashi Shunji is in the new drama ‘GIRA GIRA‘. I think Jutta-kun is too(most likely as a guest).

Oh yeah, I was watching TV the other day and this drama called ‘Cat Street’ was on. It was episode 5 but I wasn’t really planning on watching it anyways. LOL, but anyways, I was doing my homework and kind of just listening and..I heard Kagrra,. And I was like “…WHERE IS THAT COMING FROM?!”. It was on Cat Street. I was happy. It made my night. XD

Recently, after watching Kagrra no Su,..They played a song during episode 57 when they showed the comments for their clay pieces. And I found out that the song was by Capsule! Oh my god so gooood. I thought they sounded a bit like PERFUME and after a little searching, one of the people from Capsule worked with PERFUME so…That’s why they sounded alike. <3

Ohhh yeah! Funkies! There’s no need to rush, take your time. ;D And yes please, can you make a lyrics page for me? I get so lost everytime >.> Thank you~!

I need to bring my grades up…or something. I don’t know, surprisingly I have a stable grade in chem even though I hate it so much. AP Human, I have a C…English…I don’t even know. We haven’t had homework in weeks. Japanese..I think I have a B…Aerobics..That’s an A…and Geometry…Lol, I have a C.

Annddd my uncle is leaving for North Carolina..Err…I think he left already. And my mom’s kind of been on edge lately. My other uncle is staying with us since he doesn’t have a place to stay. And he only came here about 2 years ago. But he doesn’t…really do anything and my mom’s kind of getting mad. So lately she’s kind of been pissy..Yeah. And a friend of mine is leaving for training(air force) next monday, so I probably won’t see him for a year or so…

PMXXXXXXXXXXXXX! I still don’t know if I’m going. ._. It’s like…I kind of want to but not really. I’m kind of lazy actually. LOL and not just that but…between now and then, I have finals, a chem test, a ap human test, a japanese test, my japanese project, and a math test. So…I don’t know if I’ll have the time to work on any cosplay or anything else for that matter… >.> Damn it…

Osorezan re voir, leyendo el manga de Shaman King, me encontré con este poema, me pareció muy bueno, además de que le da a la “mini-saga” de Yoh y Anna un toque más emotivo. Fue originalmente escrito por Matamune antes de sacrificarse para ayudar a Yoh en la lucha contra el OO-Oni, aún si no son fanáticos de SK, Osorezan Revoir es una gran historia (y ocupa sólo 2 volumenes de 32 en la historia de Shaman King, casi nada). La traducción al español fue hecha por mí, tomando como base los libros en inglés de Shaman King.

It’s Saturday, yay! Haha, even with that said I feel like I have so much to do. As in school work/cosplay related things. :< I’m working on painting my Enki right now…It’s going very slowly right now but I’ll finish it >.>

Also, to ENVIE(haha yes, you get your name bolded and underlined!) I got my Tenimyu DVD from Nippon-Export. It sucks doesn’t it? None of the websites like YesAsia/CDJapan carry these dvds. :< But as of right now, I don’t know if Nippon Export carries DL5th DVDs anymore. If you really really really want the dvds you can buy them through Animate. But you’d have to go through Celga which is a purchasing service (they buy it for you~). Yeah I’ve done it before. I hate having to go through middle men that’s why for me it’s more of a “if I really want this and can’t live without this then I’ll use Celga” thing. Which right now is a Supporter’s DVD. Rikkai’s to be exact. I can’t find it anywhere! Not even Nippon Export has it(anymore?). ;_; I’d go through Celga to Animate but…ugh man, so much work for a DVD. Lol

Ohh~yeah! It seems that Genki will be in a movie…um..Next year. I have no idea what it’s about but it sure does look interesting. Ouji’s in it too. Main character is Ouji with Genki following after. And..um..Masakazu Nemoto and Seijirou Nakamura are also going to be in this.  Masakazu was from JackJack with Ryousuke, Kenji and Shinoda from Tenimyu. Seijirou…well..uh…I know he’s friends with Ryousuke? LOL That’s about it…

-yawn- Man, I’m tired. Haha, but anyways…Been thinking about cosplay. I really want to do Kuro Shitsuji cosplay. ((Can you believe it’s going to be an anime? The fandom is going to go down the drain. Just watch. I actually started reading it way back when…))But yeah. I want to do it. As Ciel Phantomhive. :O As for which outfit, I don’t know. I really like this one:

On another note, I’ve been listening to Asian Kung-Fu Generation alot recently. I stopped listening to them over a year ago but recently I’ve gotten back into them. Good stuff. Oh yeah, in YOH’s blog recently, he posted a blog where he went to see…SOME CAPYBARAS. LOL He sure does love those things. And I also found out that he draws. I feel so stupid, there’s a link on his blog to his main website…that I’ve never seen before until yesterday. But yeah, he draws and stuff. He did SMILYSPIKY’s logo!

Uh yeah that’s it really. XD Oh man, I just remembered something. There’s this guy at school…let’s name him…Aki. Well, Aki always looks angry. Compared to me, who’s almost always smiling..I find it really funny(that he looks mad all the time).So everytime I see him, I can’t help but laugh. :< LOL It’s really bad. I try not to but…I don’t know what’s wrong with me~!

El Weekly Shonen Jump es conocido por cancelar series (tanto así que incluso el 2do pago es llamado “la carrera de supervivencia por la cancelación”) practica que ha contribuido a producir varios finales legendarios. En un interesante artículo, el blog japonés Yamakan hecha un vistazo a algunos de los mas famosos finales de la Shounen Jump (para disfrutar de una traducción digna, el lector debería al menos conocer la mayoría de las series mencionadas aquí).

¿Alguna vez han escuchado del infame final de Shaman King, Princesa Hao? Los capítulos finales del manga prometían aferrarse a la historia y “avanzar despreocupadamente sin tener mucho sentido”, pero termino siendo nada mas que uno de tantas series de la Jump que termino “Gustosamente”.

La técnica definitiva para terminar mangas

Kimen-Gumi de Motoei Shinzawa (que fue esclavizado por el grupo editorial de la Jump), cuenta la historia de un grupo de estudiantes de un club conocidos como el Kimen-Gumi. Fue serializada por un largo tiempo después que las repeticiones temporales comenzaran a descontrolarse. Shonen Gangan esta actualmente serializando “Flash Kimen-Gumi”, pero su estilo es muy diferente al del otros mangas. La serie parecía que iba a tener un final entre amor y comedia, Con el beso entre Rei y Yui…pero no, termino como un sueño – La técnica definitiva para terminar mangas.

El final del arco de Gamou

El final de la obra de Yasuaki Kita “Makuhari” es otro buen ejemplo, que envolvió a varios otros artistas de mangas (se rumoreaba que cualquiera que se envolviera terminaría estando realmente enojado con el proyecto). La participación de Hiroshi Gamou durante la serialización es especialmente legendario. Kita-sensei comentaba con Gamou-sensei en los comentarios de la TOC sin ninguna advertencia:

-“El dibujo no es importante en los mangas. No es sobre el dibujo~! ¿Verdad, Gamou-sensei”?

Fue como si Kita-sensei estuviera diciendo que los dibujos de Gamou-sensei apestaban. A lo que Gamou-sensei respondió calmadamente:

-Es genial tener buenos dibujos, pero lo que es realmente importante en un manga es el “amor”. ¿Verdad, Kita-sensei?”

Tiempo después, Kita y Gamou-sensei nuevamente fueron motivo de burlas en los comentarios de la TOC, profundizando en lo relativo a su “amor”. En el capitulo final de “Makuhari”, Kita-sensei confeso que el personaje principal de la serie es realmente Gamou Hiroshi. Las personas pensaban que el próximo arco argumental seria el de Tsunomaru, pero en vez de eso Kita-sensei grito “¡soy libre!” y abandono la Jump.

Los finales de Kurumada

Masami Kurumada tambien termino una de sus series “Otoko-zaka” de una manera bastante sorprendente. Después de crear series tan populares como “Saint Seiya” y “Ring No Kakero”, se decía que “Otoko-zaka” contemplaba más de 10 años de planeamiento, y era la concentración de toda su vida como artista de mangas. Desgraciadamente el capitulo final salio de una forma bastante inesperada.

“Incompleto”, después de dejar numerosos presagios, llevando la serie a un final fue bastante decepcionante para los fans.

Mientras que el final de “Otoko-Zaka” ya es leyenda, Kurumada-sensei se las arreglo para hacerlo de nuevo. Después de completar “Saint Seiya”, Masami Kurumada comenzó una nueva serie llamada “Silent Knight Sho”. El nuevo manga comenzó con varios presagios comparables con los de “Otoko-Zaka”, pero resulto concluida con solo 10 semanas de serialización.

El final de la Princesa Hao

Muchos grandes mangakas en Jump han creado inolvidables y traumatizantes finales para sus mangas, la mayoría de estos finales se trasformaron en leyendas.

El mas reciente de este tipo de leyendas vino en la forma del final de Shaman King (originalmente este articulo fue escrito la semana que Shaman King termino). En el capitulo final en la edicion 36 de la Jump, Hiroyuki Takei nos mostró que su pereza sorprendería incluso a Yoshihiro Togashi (autor de Yu Yu Hakusho y de Hunter X Hunter, reconocido por su incuestionable flojera y por sus frecuentes descansos en la mitad de la serializacion).

Y por supuesto el autor esta recibiendo un honorario manuscrito por esto (no tengo idea a que se refiere con esto pero por el contexto deduzco que es algo así como un pago extra o beneficio económico que se le da a los autores tras finalizar un manga de considerable extensión. Razonamiento dispuesto a confirmación y/o modificación). En el tiempo del final, el manga se encontraba en su “arco de la batalla contra los sacerdotes”, pero, ¿el combate con Hao algún día concluirá?

Por supuesto que no, fue terminado abruptamente. Usualmente, cuando una serie se les va de las manos y es forzada a finalizar, los mangakas tiendes a terminar con frases como “la verdadera batalla comienza ahora”, “ahora, vámonos”, o al menos alguna especie de epilogo situado algunos años después.

En el caso de Shaman King, Yoh grita “¡Nuestra pelea comienza ahora. Voy a tener una buena noche de sueño para poder ganar mañana!”.Los créditos finales dicen, “Muchas gracias por animarme estos seis años. ¡Por favor estén atentos a la nueva serie de Takei-sensei!”. Pero eso no es todo, Takei-sensei creo a la vez otra leyenda sobre el misterioso sueño de Manta:

Que manera de terminar la historia. La gran mayoría de los lectores estaban prestando atención a la obra de Kiriki Bonken-sensei “Puuyan” y no pusieron atención a esto. Esto es Jump después de todo, los lectores nunca pueden saber donde una trampa esta escondida.

Hiroyuki Takei es, después de todo, el maestro de Kiyu-sensei, y el no podría perder contra su pupilo. Cuando la serie de Kiyu-sensei fue llevada a su final, Hiroyuki Takei hizo un gran comentario:

-El motivo por lo que a veces carece de mucho sentido el texto son por los frecuentes errores en la traducción desde el original japonés. Al comienzo pensaba dejarlo sin cambios, pero al entrar en conciencia de que el artículo resultaba casi ilegible, corregí grandes cantidades de errores gramaticales, cacofonías sobre todo, frases carentes de cohesión, etc. Cualquier cosa les recomiendo que también ojeen la traducción original para comparar versiones.

-Pese a todo lo mencionado, tanto la versión animada como la en papel de la famosa obra de Takei son altamente recomendables. Sobretodo hay arcos en el manga que son todo un deleite visual para los fans, como podría ser el arco de Matamune, un gato espadachín legendario que no solo lucho contra Hao en el torneo de shamanes de hace mil años, sino que también se convirtió en el primer espíritu acompañante de Yoh, incluso antes de Amidamaru, otorgándole como regalo de despedida el colgante con forma de colmillos que el protagonista lleva a todos lados. De paso, en ese mismo arco cuentan la historia de cómo Anna e Yoh se conocen y enamoran.

-Un pequeño extra. Se dice por ahí que existe la remota posibilidad de que en una reedición futura del manga de Shaman King se dignen a concluir como corresponde esta extensa serie. El mismo Takei lo confirmo en la Japan Expo France del año pasado, pero aun asi nada es seguro, sobretodo cuando se encuentra la Jump de por medio.
